I’ve been coming here for the last year and it’s just an outstanding place. Baristas are always super chill. Music is chill. The food is tasty and also very affordable for everyone. I’d consider this to be THE LOCAL SPOT and 1 of the Top 10 Golden Nuggets of St.Petersburg. I don’t just highly recommend this place for trying. I recommend it as a part of anyone’s daily routine! I feel like it’s a good atmosphere to wake up in. Positive Vibes!

Mama G’s is a refreshing cafe that is authentic and friendly. Their bakery items are absolutely delicious. Their coffee could use some tweaking to get better (milk to espresso ratio had too much milk) but the cinnamon roll made up for this!

cute little local chain with delicious baked goods and more. on the day i was in the service was adequate but definitely not overly pleasant or awesome. However, i do have a feeling this might not always be the case... everyone has days where they aren't feeling super friendly.

Very kind service and delicious food at extremely reasonable prices. The coffee is high quality and cheaper than pretty much any you’ll find in st Pete. A must-see!

In some ways my German heritage is in name only. I wasn't raised on the food like my uncle who I bring here. That said, I really like the dishes I like and they do them very well. My uncle says it's just like his mom made. I always get a loaf of their bread to go.

Good but not great schnitzel, coffee shop ambience and amenities. Lots of employees but rather disorganized service. The German potato salad fell far short of my expectations, but the rest of the food was pretty good.

If I could give 6 stars I would! Everything about this little bakery is perfect. They have lots of variety so everyone can find something to try and the atmosphere is so calming and bright. They even have a little play kitchen for the kiddos! And the people are so friendly and warm... Definitely give it a try! You won't be disappointed.

Loved everything about this bakery! It has sweet and savory items for everyone to enjoy! Not only is the food tasty, but it didn't leave me feeling terrible after. I have a gluten and lactose intolerance, so I have to be careful what I eat. I'm so glad to have found this unique bakery!

I walked in and saw my absolute favourite German meals and baked goods. I knew instantly I’d be back. Ordered the authentic Jägerschnitzel (delicious sauce) with Spätzle and also a side order of Rotkohl. I can highly recommend all of these. We took home poppyseed strudel, one of my most favourite pastries from my childhood in Germany. Lunch menu is ONLY Thursday-Saturday, so plan accordingly.

Pretty bad tasting lunch. The bratwurst was not fresh, the goulash soup was way too salty, and the potato pancakes absolutely had no taste.

Finally found a phenomenal bakery! Came to Mama G's to check it out and ended up getting a few things and now revisiting every week. This German Bakery knows how it truly should be to experience a bakery. The coffee is great, the food is great, the staff is friendly and especially their desserts and food is amazing! Highly Recommend to sit down at their locations; relax and enjoy! Oh, and also its better priced than any other place serving breakfast $4 for desserts, $4 for lattes, $7 for savory food. 04/17/24 Just left our new favorite Bakery Mama G's, just had their Bagels ; and being from New York they were phenomenal and brought me back. After complimenting them; they told us they actually import the bagels from Bronx, NY, Genius! Check out my photos!

Wow! What a delightful surprise! I was looking for a light lunch and the place I was going had gone out of business - bummer! But I stumbled in here not knowing what to expect. Clean as a whistle - good start! It's pretty much of a bakery/coffee shop, but they had a menu of German specialties for lunch. OK, not what I'd expect in the heart of Kenneth City, but what the heck, I'm here! Absolutely astounding! As authentic as eating in downtown Munich. DELICIOUS, carefully prepared, a lovely plate, just a pleasant experience. Not light, but sometimes you've got to splurge! I'm going to put this on my regular rotation, I can't wait to eat my way though the rest of their menu!

Oh my gosh! Heaven. Coffee perfect. Photos just cant share the flavor of the food. Split several items with friends, so to try a variety... but not others like the egg fri. You will want that one for yourself.. maybe 2. Wasnt going to do a dessert but had half of one off my Mom's plate. I highly recommend this place. The people there are wonderful.

All around a pleasant experience! We decided to check the place out on a whim and ordered several treats and schnitzel. Everything was delicious and light on the stomach. The service was delightful, and the atmosphere of the bakery was warm. You can taste the love in the cooking. Don’t skip out on visiting Mama G’s if you’re visiting St. pete. Definitely going to be our favorite bakery in the area from now on.

Hands down, best bakery and coffee spot in the State of Florida. They also have great lunch options. The service is impeccable, the ambience is lovely, and the coffee is even better.

I’ve been coming to mama G’s for years now and I only have great things to say about the owners and staff. What an amazing environment they make for their customers. The coffee is amazing and the pastry’s are second to none. I highly recommend trying this place out if you haven’t before.

I go to Gs at least once or twice a week. The selection is excellent, the prices are reasonable. The quality is top notch. And the staff and owners are great. So I would recommend giving it a try.

I've been looking for a restaurant serve good German food that was close to where I live in this place is really good. Love the Wienerschnitzel and the spaetzle and red cabbage. I just wish they'd figure out a way to do the pork shank for delivery. That was to die for. Love the pretzels and all their desserts.

The food is great and the people are nice. Love their dirty chair. The apple pie at Thanksgiving was the best.

Amazing food! All made fresh daily. So happy to have found this hidden gem. Have told several others about and they've all loved it too. Love the chocolate croissants and the jaegerschnitzel is Ah-mazing!

Nothing better than a delicious breakfast here in this cozy bakery! You see freshly baked artisan bread coming out of kitchen, coffee and drinks, thoughtful arrangements for kids and wheelchairs. The vibes here will make you calm and delight, getting ready for another hopeful day!

Mama G’s hits all the marks. Good service, amazing food, clean and cute atmosphere. The staff is genuinely friendly and the pastries are to die for. (the fruit is so fresh!) Fun coffee flavors with many options. Also try the German lunch and or breakfast, you won’t regret it. Tastes very traditional. The bread is very fresh, sauerkraut hearty and the meat is tender. Love this place!

5 stars for a very casual coffee shop / bakery. We are out of town people, but seemed to be full of locals (always a good sign). Everyone in our party of 8 liked the coffee. Bread we got was great. Staff were very friendly; there are 2 outdoor tables, so you can bring your dog. Only semi-negative was busy road location, but that gives better access. Give it a try!

Authentic German food with lots of European style pastry and coffee options. The interior space is small, so getting a table can be a challenge at times. There’s also a couple tables outside. It’s a jewel in an area of town that just really doesn’t seem to have that many options.

Been a customer of Mama Gs since they opened. They've been the center of many breakfasts, lunches, and gatherings with family and friends. Can't forget our annual good luck marzipan piggies. I'm thrilled to see the expansion of locations over the years and look forward to visiting for years to come.

Cute little place where you can buy loaves of bread, pastries, German dishes like bratwurst and curry wurst, and coffee of course. The Nutella croissant was decent, but I enjoyed the iced German Coffee the most: perfectly refreshing and an experience that wasn’t too sweet but wasn’t too bitter & kind of perfectly blended together. The environment is super cozy and homey (which is my preference over all these minimalist cold coffee houses).

Sehr schöner Bäcker, wie man es aus D gewohnt ist. Kann auch gut drinnen sitzen. Brote sind wirklich gut. Drei Klassen besser als der übliche Schaumstoff nach Brot-Art vom Publix. Der Mohnstollen war klasse !!

So happy to have found a local coffee shop near my house since moving. I like to support local, but a lot are very expensive, this spot is reasonable! Ever since moving to Pinellas park there’s only been chain coffee spots or boba places, but no actual coffee shops or bakeries. Excited to frequent more and try different items.

For a small bakery they had so many things to choose from. Food, bread and tons of deserts. Definitely stop by!

So, so very good! The plum danish was INCREDIBLE! I also tried the cheese danish and lemon bars. All were impeccably cooked and seasoned. Just the right amount of salt in the pastry. Will def go here again and again!

One of my first shopping stops when I return to Kenneth City after summering in the North. I am never disappointed with Mama G's selection and quality of there baked goods. Today, I was lucky to arrive early enough to find a loaf of cranberry walnut bread...... so good! For a little treat later in the day I chose a delicious apple strudel. What a great way to start your day!

Authentic place for German food and everything I've tried from them; Mohnstrudel, Apfelstrudel, and Cranberry Walnut bread (and my husband had the Schnitzel at a festival last werk)- was delicious hands down! Definitely worth the long drive

Came here to grab a hot cocoa and a tasty pastry with my co-worker, and fell in love with the cute atmosphere of the bakery! Staff was kind, food was delicious and of good quality, and prices were reasonable! I will definitely let ny friends know about Mama G's!

We were at the restaurant for breakfast years ago when she first opened it. We haven't been back since it's much further away from our home than other restaurants places. We should had come back much sooner to try the pastries. Mama G's was at the German Society in Pinellas Park this past weekend for the Octoberfest, and we got 3 different items. Apple and Cheese strudels, and a big cookie. All are very good. The Apple one has very good spices. We really like them because they're not sugary sweet. We will back to the restaurant to pick up some more.

Amazing little coffee shop! Great pastry treats and better coffee than the price suggests; all together with a quaint atmosphere and friendly staff makes for a cafe you immediately want to make your regular spot. My wife and I were just passing through heading back to Miami so sadly this won’t be our go-to cafe. Nevertheless, we saved it in our maps favorites just in case we ever pass through St. Pete again because it was fantastic. Wish this family owned business all the best. Locals - Do yourself a favor and stop by.
