We got our wedding cake from Chocolate Carousel and cannot recommend it enough. Everything about the process from the initial design consult, tasting, and everything in between, was such an easy process. Everyone was so amazing to work with. Do not hesitate to work with Chocolate Carousel for any of your cake needs!!!

When it comes to bakeries, this place is in a league of it's own. Simply the best of the best. The quality and selection of their pastries is top notch. And a friendly staff.

Our wedding cake was perfect. The design was exactly as I requested and the flavor was amazing. It was a beautiful dessert for our special day!

We had a voucher from our wedding venue for this bakery and we chose to explore our options here for our big day. Thank you Liz for being patient with us and coming up with the perfect finalized plan for our wedding this past June. We decided to go with cupcakes and a small bride/groom cake to cut during our reception. The cake trial box was easy to pick flavors with their checklist and go through what we could mix and match and what we wanted to try and everything was so fresh & tasted amazing…almost hard to pick the final flavor cake and icing . Liz was great with communication via email after our video consultation. She was able to add a beach theme detail to our small wedding cake and it came out perfect! They even loaned us the cupcake tier tower for an added charge but this made it easier for delivery to our venue and already set up. Thank you again

Today I was a winner of a contest from 107.1 and received a box of assorted cake pops, cookies, pretzels, and pastries for my coworkers and I from the Chocolate Carousel. The radio workers surprised and delivered it to me at my job. EVERYTHING was fresh and flavorful with beautiful presentation. And everyone enjoyed them very much. I’d also like to thank the Chocolate Carousel for sponsoring the radio station, donating, and giving back to the community. The next time I’m in Wall Township I will be stopping by. I had the best experience ordering my son’s birthday cake. The staff was super helpful with my son‘s theme cake. And designed a cake that was better than I could even imagine. Not only did it look amazing . It tasted absolutely outstanding. Literally the best cake I’ve ever had. Thank you again so so much♥️

Chocolate Carousel was fantastic with our wedding cake. They perfectly placed flowers and our dog figurine on the back of the cake, and the way they put icing all over her fur and face was ADORABLE. Needless to say, the yellow cake with blueberry filling and white chocolate icing was delicious, and I'm usually not a cake person :D

We worked with CC through our venue WOTW@ Frogbridge and were so happy about this collaboration! We ordered a tasting box at home and highly recommend doing this to pick your favorite cake flavor, filling, and frosting. We did the devil's food with cannoli cream and buttercream frosting and everyone loved it, even vanilla cake lovers. The cake was not at all dry, the filling was creamy and full of choc chips, and the cake looked BEAUTIFUL. 10/10 recommend this bakery.

Working with Chocolate Carousel for our wedding cake was so stress free and wonderful. We used Falco’s catering for our wedding and Chocolate Carousel was included in our package. We shared our inspiration with them with what we wanted and it came out absolutely perfect! To pick our flavors, we were able to sample from a variety of cakes, fillings, and icing to make sure we picked the perfect combo for us (we went with funfetti cake, vanilla custard filling, and white chocolate icing). Also, highly recommend going into the bakery for a few sweet treats leading up to your wedding. We picked up our wedding cake tasting box on a cake slice Saturday where we sat for a while at the bakery chatting with the owner and enjoyed some AMAZING cake.

Our wedding cake was everything we could ever imagine. Not only did it look exactly how we pictured but it tasted AMAZING. We both aren’t the biggest fans of cake but this tasted great! Thank you so much for an amazing wedding cake! It was truly perfect!

This is my one of my favorite bakeries! They are extremely friendly and professional, plus everything they make is delicious! We’ve gotten a few gluten free cakes here and they are moist and not dry like other bakeries! I love how they can create any cake your imagine!

I was blessed to work with these guys for my wedding cake. I asked for something a little bit different, and they overdeliver. My cake was beautiful. The process was easy to design and work with their team. The cake itself was absolutely delicious. If you have the opportunity to work with them for your wedding, I would 100% recommend you do!

Bought many cakes in the last three years for special occasions. And every cake was dry no taste. Decorations on cake beautiful and adorable but taste horrible and dry. Sorry to have to write this but after my granddaughters first birthday cake I felt the need to write a review. Like I said bought wedding cake bridal cake bought engagement cake all the same thing. Decorated gorgeous taste not good.

Our wedding venue includes a 4 tier wedding cake in their wedding package. However, my husband and I always wanted to do a donut tower! After our consultation with Chocolate Carousel and tasting their cake and donuts, we knew we wanted to do our donut tower. Chocolate Carousel made this possible and our cake designer Elizabeth was super accommodating. They made 140 donuts that matched our wedding colors and did a small round cake on top for our cake cutting. The donuts and almond cake were DELICIOUS! We also had sheet cakes made for our guests so everyone could enjoy their cake AND donuts! They also give you a free 1 year anniversary wedding cake which we are so excited to receive.

We got a cake included in our Venue Tim Mcloones Supper Club and Chocolate Carousel was absolutely amazing. We thought the sample box was a little odd, but it worked. We got to meet with the artist virtually and go over the entire book of designs to pick the perfect one. We had Mets color theme and they were able to incorporate that into the colors and style. I love the heart with our initials in it- like when you carve your initials into a tree. The cake- when I tell you people loved it- they asked for seconds. Highly recommend.

I am not sure where to start, because I can’t thank Chocolate Carousel enough for making my shower so special. I called months prior and discussed my vision over the phone. I emailed sample pictures and asked if this is what could be done. Not only did the cookies exceed my expectations, but the cake was a masterpiece. Everything went hand in hand with my theme of my shower. Guests were impressed and thought that the cookies and cakes were delicious! Thank you for making my day so special, I cannot wait to order again for any occasion.

This is THE bakery! It’s the only place I will get cakes for any family parties or birthdays. I am always pleasantly surprised by their new flavors, and am yet to find one that I don’t love. The girls inside are always super friendly and knowledgeable. Gotta try the new churro cake! It’s incredible. I won’t go anywhere else!

Chocolate carousel nails it every time! We get all of our occasion cakes here and they are beautiful and delicious! When I used to get cakes, it was either design or taste that was lacking. But not here! Most recently I ordered an "Easter bunny" cake and placed my order over the phone. I didn't really have anything specific in mind but told the baker what I was looking for - funfetti cake, raspberry filling and rainbow sprinkles. Not only was it delicious but it looked great and everyone was so impressed.

It was my niece’s first birthday. My family gets cakes all the time from chocolate carousel and they are always delicious and beautifully decorated. We picked up the cake two hours before the party and this is what we received. This is the most poorly decorated, awful looking cake I have ever seen. When my cousin called back they would not help her and didn’t not offer a refund. They told her she could bring the cake back and have them fix it. Since she lived a hour away, she didn’t have time to go back and get the cake fixed, nor should she have to. We had to go out and buy flowers and sprinkles to fix the cake before guest arrived. I attached both pictures of what the cake looked like when we got it home and how we tried to fix it up. I’m so unbelievably disappointed and will not be going back. Also, they charged her an extra 45 dollars for the sprinkles and decorations. She would have been fine with that if the cake looked nice, but instead she paid 45 dollars for about ten sprinkles up top.

Highly recommend! Our wedding cake was beautiful and I just picked up our anniversary cake today for our 6 yr, they replicated it exactly , still had our info on file. Very professional and friendly.

Chocolate Carousel does not disappoint! This is my second cake. The custom order was quick and easy with the on-line ordering! I ordered a layer of each vanilla and chocolate, buttercream frosting with funfetti mouse. I uploaded my inspo pic and the invite to my sister’s shower, and they beautifully executed the cake! They were extremely responsive and quickly provided a quote with the breakdown, and finalizing the order was as easy as calling the designer team and confirming! The staff from the venue and the balloon designers took pics and asked where the cake was from. The cake was delicious and the quality amazing! Will definitely order again!

We used Chocolate Carousel for our wedding cake. It was beautiful and delicious! Guests were saying that it was the best tasting wedding cake they have eaten! White cake, cookies and cream filling, with buttercream frosting. We can't wait to receive a 1st Anniversary cake from them!

Chocolate Carousel did my wedding cake and I couldn't have been happier with the result. I'd heard horror stories that wedding cakes sacrifice taste for aesthetics, not so with this, it was beautiful and tasty! The almond cake was absolutely delicious and the custard filling is almost criminally good. I'm still getting rave reviews of the cake from my guests. We also ordered cake pop favors from them as well, and the were so beautiful, with the his and hers design, and they were sublime and tasty. They were extremely professional, easy to work with and made our dream cake. It's also a massive plus that in a year they will rebake our top layer for a price, sure beats having to make space in our freezer for a year and meant we got to eat the top layer once we were home, and the cake was so amazingly good that we WANTED to.

We recently used Chocolate Carousel for our vow renewal at the Crystal Ballroom in Freehold NJ and we were BLOWN AWAY at how good their cake was. So.many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they ate in a long time! Plus, Chocolate Carousel made it so easy for us. We had an amazing tasting box to try as many combos as we wanted and helped us with the design. Thank you for all your hard work❤️

Chocolate Carousel was amazing! They made us a beautiful cake that was even more delicious! We also had cupcakes as well and they were a popular hit with our guests as well. 10/10! We’ve used them additionally for a grooms cake and a 50th birthday cake. All equally delicious and beautiful! We drive an hour to pick up sweets from this bakery because they are that good!

Highly Recommend Chocolate Carousel! Delicious and decorated beautifully! It was so effortless to make our wedding cake vision come to life with chocolate carousel. The first phone consult was so simple and I sent over a few photos of our decor and they with no hesitation, made all of our requests a reality (especially our peek-a-boo fondant replica of our dog Cooper) Our cake tasting was above and beyond what we expected, both in regards to flavor and quantity! Our wedding cake was delivered on time, and was exactly what we ordered and more ! The cake even tasted as if it had just been baked right that day, which is rare at most weddings we've attended. This is our story, We called the shop and was told to talk with Meg the “cake decorator”. Since we are not very creative ourselves, we told her to use her own “creative ability” and go crazy. The theme was mermaid for our 4 year old girl. I do not need to explain any further then the photo below. We were blown away, not only by how AMAZING the cake looked/ tasted, but by the true professionalism this shop possesses. Chocolate Carousel is our new “go to” for every bakery need! We had my daughter's bridal shower cake from Chocolate Carousel since it's the bakery Rum Runner uses. The beach themed cake looked beautiful and was delicious!! So happy with our experience with your bakery.

The most delicious wedding cake we’ve ever had!! So soft and delicious and literally just so good. Everyone loved the cake and it was BEAUTIFUL! It was fun and easy to design the cake with their team! We also got a yummy tasting box to try out multiple flavor combinations which made a fun date night! We’re so happy with how it turned out, and I’m not sure if this is because it was included with our venue, but we get a freshly made topper for our anniversary instead of needing to eat year-old frozen cake!! After going to multiple bakeries including our “go to” we kept getting “no” for what I thought was a simple design . Took the chance on Chocolate Carousel for my gender reveal cake. I want to say that other than the pink not being exactly what I wanted, the cake came out perfect! To the T of the design I sent and asked for. The flavor and texture of the cake was amazing and it was perfect for my party. I will say that although greeted by a very nice and helpful front desk greeter, once she went back to get a “designer” that’s when the customer service went a little left. The designer seemed annoyed with me and my partner like she didn’t want to listen and wanted to hurry us out. When we wanted to look at the order sheet in the end just to confirm I actually caught her rolling her eyes. I would have probably been able to explain the pink I wanted better if she didn’t have such an attitude. Usually I would have said something but didn’t want to cause a scene so I let it go but it left a bad taste in my mouth for a first impression. I would say make sure staff , even if annoyed try to be as nice as possible to customers as our friends and family have many many parties through the year where we order cakes and will still recommend this bakery and will most likely be back. But that could have easily not been the case because of the service of the designer. Thanks for the amazing cake everyone loved!

Great cake! Chocolate carousel took care of our wedding cake and bridal showe cake, both were excellent! Everyone was raving. i wasn’t big on cake until I had theirs! Now i know not all cakes are created equal !

Chocolate carousel made our absolutely stunning wedding cake on 5/12/23 and while it was gorgeous, it was also so delicious! The whole process was so easy everybody was so professional. The bakery itself s absolutely adorable and from now on my family, and I will always be ordering special occasion cakes from them. I cannot recommend them enough.

Chocolate Carousel provided the wedding cake for mine and my partner's commitment ceremony. The cake was absolutely delicious! The cake was moist and airy, the filling options were plentiful, and the frosting was SO good (and as someone who is not usually a fan of frosting, that's saying something). We had a three-tiered cake and we were able to have the tiers have different cakes and fillings to accommodate different tastes for ourselves and our guests. Additionally, they were able to provide us with a great tasting kit in advance of the commitment ceremony so that we were able to choose our favorite options. The outside of the cake itself was also tastefully done and very customizable so we could match it to the rest of our décor for the event. All in all, myself, my partner, and our guests were all very impressed.

Amazing! We had a backyard bbq themed strawberry shortcake that was amazing! 10 years ago you also did our wedding cake. (Been many times inbetween!) Best bakery ever - staff, flavors, freshness - always a wonderful, memorable experience.

We ordered a cake for my daughters first birthday which was watermelon themed. I showed an example of what i wanted and upon picking up the cake was absolutely stunned. I make a mean homemade, chocolate cake, but when I don't have time, Chocolate Carousel is the only place I go to buy a cake. My favorite is a chocolate cake, with german chocolate coconut filling and mocha frosting. Yum. Yesterday I got a Boston Creme Pie Cake which was a big hit with my friends, and I pre-ordered a 1/4 sheet crumb cake for our breakfast.....awesome crumb cake!!!!! My friends were thrilled to be able to take a chunk home for their breakfast.

*edited review to 3 stars after owner's response We got married last Saturday and was disappointed with how our cake looked. We paid over $100 for sugar flowers to be added to our cake and feel like they were sparse with the decoration. There are gaps at the top and bottom of the design. I attached a picture to show the unfinished look of the design. We were so disappointed by the cake that we did a private cake cutting rather than having everyone come and see the cake. This is one of the few pictures we took of the cake. Ten days before the wedding, the bakery called us to double check the headcount (which was fine) but once they realized that we were a few people short of our headcount they proceeded to charge us more for a cake that we had already paid in full. Based on the owner's explanation it was my venue that decided not to pay for the $24 of extra cake, which I paid for and did not get to take home with me. When I was called 10 days before the wedding, the person who called me from Chocolate Carousel was unable to articulate why I owed additional money so I want to thank the owner for clearing that miscommunication up. I still believe that an additional row of flowers on the third tier of cake would have completed the design. A cascading design should get fuller at the bottom not narrower. It looks odd to have one flower floating at the bottom of the cake by itself.

We ordered our cake from Chocolate Carousel because they are our caterer's preferred baker. They did NOT disappoint! Sometimes wedding cakes can be dry or tasteless, but their cakes are the complete opposite. In addition to being visually stunning, the cake itself was moist and flavorful. Working with Chocolate Carousel was very easy. The process of choosing a cake is simplified by their take-home DIY cake-tasting kit. The actual wedding cake tasted just like their samples. Everyone loved the cake so much that I ordered cupcakes for a party we hosted shortly after our wedding!

Our venue works with Chocolate Carousel for our wedding cake, and we couldn't be happier!! Everyone at the bakery was very helpful on the phone and answered any questions in a timely manner. The whole process went smoothly, from booking your design and cake tasting appointments, and even picking up the tasting kit. My sister was kind enough to go to the bakery to pick up our tasting kit since I was stuck at work, and she said the place is amazing inside and everything smelled delicious!! My now husband and I had a blast tasting all of the flavors we wanted to try for our wedding cake. We ended up going with an almond flavored cake with raspberry filling and white buttercream. O-M-G, everything we tasted was AMAZING!!! But the almond cake really stood out, along with the raspberry filling. You can't go wrong with any flavors you choose! Our guests at our wedding raved about the cake flavor so we were very happy with our choices :) Our venue even gave us the top tier to take home after the wedding which was so nice!! We ate it ALL within a few days!! (Even after a few days, it was still that good!!) I'm a big sweets lover, and can be critical so I can without a doubt say that Chocolate Carousel's cakes are the best!! They're so moist and fresh, and the best flavors I've had in a long time. The design of the wedding cake was exactly what we asked for, it was so beautiful!! Thank yoo so much for helping making our wedding day extra special!!
