This place is on my way to work. I stop often for sandwiches for lunch. Reasonably priced, made to order, fresh.

Love, love, love this store for stone crabs, citrus and ice cream. It has replaced our beloved OrangeBlossom in Clearwater. Please support this business, there is hardly any of old Florida left!

Love this place. It feels like home, and harkens back to simpler times. They carry quality gifts, produce, food and snacks, many locally grown or produced. Try their orange cream, key lime, chocolate, banana or strawberry soft serve ice cream! I always have a hard time deciding, but I'm never disappointed with my decision. It's also a great place to buy souvenirs if you're traveling. Every time I go, I see something I want to try next time. Next trip I think I'm going to buy a jar of TOE Jam, because who doesn't need that in their refrigerator? And Ms. Vera's Key Lime Pie, which I've heard is delicious.

Rural small type place. Probably could use a good updating. Food,beverages a few souvenirs

Felt like I stepped back into Florida as a kid. The lady behind the counter that served me made me feel like I was talking to my grandma again. Very sweet welcoming and kind. The soft serve ice cream is really good. I like the vanilla orange swirl. Wasn't sure which jelly or jam to get but the lady suggested one and I bought it. Look forward to trying it. I have to come back sometime soon so I can get a review on the sandwiches. But if it's like the rest of the stuff it'll be homemade and Delicious. Oh and I forgot to mention they have boiled peanuts. They are pretty decent as well!

The garlic fries at this establishment are so well flavored and fried that eating them puts you in violation of the 5th lay precept of Buddhism.

I passed this place on my way out of Terra ceia preserve State Park. I stopped to grab some food I try to Cuban sandwich was one of the best I've had outside of tampa. I also tried their fresh orange juice, they're orange soft serve, and some garlic cheddar cheese curds and they were all amazing as well. I highly suggest this to anybody who's passing through.

I guess it's a good place for citrus, some souvenirs. As an informative note, there is no coffee.

Florida highlight!! Sooo yummy!! *Edit* I don't give Google reviews often, but I just came to leave a review only to find I have already left one years prior. On our most recent 5 day trip to the Palmetto area, we stopped to get vanilla/orange swirl cake cones 3 times. Stopping at The Citrus Place has been a family tradition since we were young that I am so excited to get to pass down to our children now.

Loved the owner. She was in her 80s and made all the ice cream and pies herself.

While it is out of season for citrus, The Citrus Place offers hot dogs, sandwiches, and some pretty awesome ice cream. They also had a nice selection of jams and jellies, honey and preserves, postcards, and small gifts and trinkets. The clerk was super nice.

I don’t like to leave negative reviews especially for a small business, and we usually have a great experience when we come here, but whoever was running your register today ( 07/02 ) was extremely unprofessional. My son went to touch the bouncy balls they have up front and we asked him not to touch them, the lady at the register says “meanie” to my husband. We thought we misunderstood so we asked her to repeat what she said and she says "that was mean." Theres literally a huge sign on the box that says "do not bounce" and thats exactly what a five year old would do which is why we told our son not to touch them. An employee should never comment on a customers parenting especially when we’re following the rule your business has posted. we found the whole experience extremely unprofessional and makes us reconsider shopping there.

A hidden gem for orange products next to Terra Ceia Island, Florida which is another place to drive through-still mostly unchanged. Reminds me of old Florida. Take a drive around Terra Ceia Island, up Bayshore Drive & around the area. Beautiful views. Great leisurely drive. Good fishing from the little bridge near the Sea Hut Restaurant.

We always stop here when out on a bike ride and get an ice cream. Usually a good experience. Bring friends here when they visit. Nice, breezy area behind the building with picnic table. Haven't really tried much else. Stop by if nearby.

We stopped just for the soft serve and were not disappointed. Had the combination of the orange-vanilla twist and the chocolate key lime twist. Fantastic. It is worth a trip just for the soft serve.

Mrs. Vera's key lime pie and the orange soft serve is wonderful. Everyone was beyond friendly, informative about their products, and helpful.

This place is a hidden gem. There was so many interesting souvenirs! It is very sad that not many people come here, but they have the BEST orange and vanilla ice cream in town! The price is SUPER REASONABLE! And they have FRESH orange juice and fresh made jams! I recommend coming here and support small business! This place is very welcoming to family with kids!

Beautiful stop on the way back from coquina beach! We got yummy ice cream and cheese curds both were amazingly delicious 😋. Lady at the cashier was very nice and friendly. We really wanted to go and see the plantation but it was closed. Highly recommend to stop by.
