So, we were a party of 4. They don't take reservations unless you have more then 6. Me and my bf got there and they said they couldn't seat us if all of us weren't there. The Server was nice, could have explained how the place worked better but oh well. They have time limits on your stay it is an hour, mind you they were 3 free tables around us but the server was still like "Just to tell you guys, you have 30 minutes left." Also they have a policy that you leave excessive food they will charge you.

Awesome service. Server was fantastic. Food is great. This was my first Korean bbq experience and it was great. The angus beef steak, brisket and bulgogi is delicious.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the quality of the meat was as well as ther service at the Alpharetta location. There is a worker named Lee who was super nice and accomodating for my needs during my time at Iron Age. People like Lee are what makes customers want to come back!

Absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant and for sure would be coming back! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. You have to ask for Lee. He greeted us with the biggest smile and was extremely helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. My girlfriend and I got the ayce and although the menu was imtidating, our server Lee helped guide and recommended al of the best options. Would be coming back!

Lee was our waiter he was so nice, professional, and really helped make the whole experience the best it could be! We will definitely be coming back! Food and drinks were great!!

I got there 1 hour before closing time posted in google and the waiter said they would only server me food for 20 min. PlzDon't offer a services that you won't be able accomplish.

Food is actually pretty good with decent service, but im also in it for the free brownie because im fat

I brought my 2 daughters here for the first time yesterday evening and regrettably we will not be returning to this location. Initially it started off well. We got on a waiting list. Expected wait time was 20-25 minutes. I don’t believe it took even 20 minutes which was exciting! We sat at our booth and waited for our waiter to approach. Once she approached we let her know it was our first time and if she could walk us through the process. She seemed a little agitated not wanting to explain the process. She only told me about the meats did not mention sides and how it works. When she brought out the meat for us to cook, she never mentioned our sides and she was so busy waiting on other tables, it took her a long time to circle back to our table. Once our meat was cooked we waited to see if we could order sides. I waved her down due to her taking a while to see about us. I asked if we could order our sides. She never asked us for our drink order so, once again I had to wave her down for drinks. It was really exhausting. We could never get our second set of meats, drinks, or sides in a timely manner. We missed out on the experience and the ambiance. My daughters were not enjoying themselves. We decided to ask for the check. But of course, I had to wave her down, which took some time. While waiting for our bill, the cashier approached our booth and asked if we were done. Side eye…..excuse me? How rude!! We hadn’t even paid our bill. Sir!! He was rushing us to get up so they could seat someone else at our booth. Mind you, there were people in booths that were there long before us. One group paid and just sat around. They didn’t ask them to leave. The audacity! Now I’m being presented with a $134 bill madness!!! One of my daughters didn’t even receive her two meats.I did tip the waitress 20% which was $22 although, the service was rotten. I’m teaching my daughters to always do the right thing by people. That’s why I gave her a tip. Unfortunately, we did not receive quality service.

Don’t go Just because it’s in the halcyon -Service is pathetic , new servers - food is burnt , they used fast burner and directions grill - too hot boiling sake - no customized marination Overall disappointment/ not going back to this establishment but rather go to somewhere deserving .

The establishment is very clean and everyone is very friendly and welcoming from the hostess to the server. I believe our servers name was Chris but I’m not 100% sure. He was very helpful, he answered any questions we had and even helped us cook some the food when he wasn’t busy with other customers. All the food was very fresh and it all tasted amazing. Also, the salad and the dressing they use was amazing as well as the glass noodles.

We have entered the restaurant around 10pm, it almost took 30 mins arranging seats and heating up the burner and waiter said that he can only get 2 dishes at once which gradually delayed in cooking and eating them it was fine until 11.30 we had tasted couple varieties and later point we had to rush as the restaurant is about to close. The waiter was in a rush and got everything at once and we couldn’t able to complete I would suggest never go before closing as you end up paying without enjoying food.

This franchise restaurant is pretty good for someone who wants to try korean bbq for the first time. It's all you can eat for lunch and dinner menu. The price is pretty good. The servers are friendly, and the atmosphere is great. The meat quality is reasonable for the price.

Natsuki is the best make sure you go and see her!

The pricing for our grandkids was a lot considering the small amount they ate. We had no alcohol to drink. Some of us just had water. The service charge of $40 that was added to our bill was a surprise and a bit much. Our server was nice and did a good job for the most part. We added a nice tip for him on top of our over $300 bill. Yikes!

Came in on a Friday night. It was pretty busy but they got us in. We were served by Samantha. She was ok. We eat here all the time, so we order the same thing. We ordered soy bulgogi but she brought us steak. I said to her, I ordered bulgogi. She kind of got defensive and said no, you ordered steak. Mind you, we eat here all the time and order the same thing. I wasn't going to make a big deal out of it. I told her not to worry about it bc they were busy and I took the steak. It just bothered me that she automatically got defensive. Service just wasn't there. She kept walking past us to help other tables. It made me feel like we weren't important. Food was amazing as always.

My family and I love this place. We're a huge fan of the japchae noodles which is a major reason we visit this restaurant. We also really enjoy the seasoned steak. It's in a great location. The service is always good, as is the food.

Me and my friend group have come in a few times and by chance Natsuki has served us every time. She is SOOOOO sweet. One of the most welcoming and warm presences I’ve had the delight of being served by ever. If you’re ever in the area and want a delicious and delightful meal make sure to stop by and make sure Natsuki is your server!

Great selection of good quality meats to grill either on your own or they'll do it for you. I like that flexibility based on my mood. You get a few sides but not as many banchan variety. I do love the four sauces they bring out for you to dip the meats. It adds more taste variety which I really enjoy. As of March 2024, it was $29 for AYCE dinner and $3 for a soda. That's very reasonable IMHO. Service was excellent! Fun to celebrate your birthday here since they blast out the music, bring out a slice of chocolate cake with a candle, and all the servers circle around you clapping. That's fun! 😄

Iron Age at the Halcyon is amazing! I was shocked to find out that they were able to accommodate just a party of one and my server was just as attentive to me as her other tables ! My server Esther had recommended me certain cuts of meat and each one she recommended turned out just as amazing as she described ! ALSO… the soju cocktails are TO DIE FOR ! I got the melon one and I kid you not it taste like the freshest melon drink you could ever have.

Got two seperate reservations for parties of 5 but we were pressured into making it a large party of 10 against our decision. Seater lied to us saying it would take another hour for the second party but followed up by seating another party infront of us. Note we had two consecutive reservations so the party seated was not ahead of us. Now we are stuck paying 20% gratuity on a close to $400 bill.

This place is great for when you want to take your family somewhere to eat! The workers are all very nice and so quick on their feet. They’re very social and the experience I would recommend! Food is always great, Service is always great. Honestly no down sides when you come here.

Our group of 6 adults felt that it was difficult to get enough of any of the food items. You would ask for more and the server would bring one of the small 4 in. bowls with 1/4 cup of food for 6 people! I understand not wanting to waste food but there were 6 adults at the table and the server had to work 3 times harder than needed. They should rethink how to serve any group larger than 4 people. We enjoyed the atmosphere and it is fun for a group but for the price of the meal better food can be found elsewhere. The Bulgogi is only average and we have had better elsewhere. The novelty of cooking food at the table is the only reason to go here.

This is our usual Korean bbq spot, love this place. We were having trouble with our grill going out almost every 2 mins and they moved us to another table, appreciated the service. Ben was our server he was very busy but was great attending to us, awesome hospitality. Will keep coming here every time.
