We absolutely loved the cake we got! The decoration was flawless, beautifully designed, and exactly what we envisioned. Not only was it visually stunning, but the taste was incredible as well. It was so delicious that everyone at the celebration couldn’t stop talking about it. Every bite was moist, flavorful, and just perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better cake, and it truly made our special day even more memorable!

As always, beautifully made and delicious eggless cake made for my daughter's birthday party. Many guests commented on how tasty is was and I referred them to Classic Bakery.

In 2021 we got our wedding cake from here - a 3-tier strawberry shortcake. Every year for our anniversary we've bought a small strawberry shortcake to celebrate, and every year it's just as delicious. It's a nice treat each year!

I'm a foodie and as I was planning my baby shower, I was adamant that along with good food I wanted a cake that would excite my guests -- of course I wanted it to be beautiful but, more importantly, I wanted it to taste amazing. I Googled "best bakery in Montgomery County" and Classic Bakery was at the top of the list with very high ratings. I submitted an inquiry online and got an estimate back that was outside of my budget but the manager who wrote to me offered to chat with me about alternative options that could meet my needs but also fit within my budget constraints. When I called the bakery to discuss my options, I was told that the manager who wrote to me was out of the office for a few days but was put in touch with Areen, and I was able to schedule a consultation with him. Areen spent so much time and care with me on our call and discussed multiple options with me that fit into my budget and also allowed my vision to come to life - his customer service was exceptional. I ultimately decided on an ombre rosette design. I had the cake delivered to the venue and it was on time and very fresh. I ordered two flavors - vanilla with strawberry and vanilla with lemon cream - and both were absolutely delicious! So many people asked me where I'd ordered the cake from. Going forward, based on customer service, quality, and taste, I will definitely place all my future cake orders with Classic Bakery and highly recommend them to others.

The bridal shower cake was beautiful and tasted delicious! My only concern I had throughout the process was getting someone on the phone to call you back about placing an order or getting a response back about the status of your order. My first time calling the bakery did feel a bit rushed because you could tell their employees were overwhelmed by their in person customers. I also experienced the same thing when calling about the status of my order and left my phone number, however no one called me back and had to do a follow up phone call the next day. All in all I would still say that getting a cake from their bakery was SUPER worth it. Hopefully once they get their new location in Olney up and running, that experience will not be repeated. I will personally be back to get a sweet treat from them soon!

I have been a very loyal customer, I had my wedding cake and early birthday days cake for my girls. I bake a lot and I can say classic bakery always has been my favorite in the past 30 +years.

I went to a professional bakery because although the cake was very simple in design and complexity, (multi-colored whipped cream frosting and 1 word only, no other designs/features) I needed a very specific cake and I was willing to pay for the assurance that it would be right. I provided a clear picture of what I needed. When I picked it up, the colors were all wrong as well as the writing. I am very happy to say, that they took the cake back without hesitation and re-frosted it very quickly in the vibrant colors I had requested and it was spot on. The 8" cake served 17 people very thin slices of cake, but the flavor was delicious and the texture was nice. Overall, I recommend Classic Bakery.

Amazing cake and I am regular customer. The staff is expecting tips for 2mins of service they provide. My bill was $50 and I did not tip the staff member and she was super pissed. She wanted me to give her tip for keeping the cake in the box. Cmon!! I don’t blame her but the management who’s paying the staff less and eating all the money and creating a culture of working for tips in a bakery shop. It’s not a dine in guys.

Everyone loved the cake. I think this was the mango cream cake. The price is reasonable, and the service was great. The bakery is in an industrial park so the outside is not fancy. You won’t find this place unless you look for it.

Great cakes . Excellent computer communication system. Order description and receipt are emailed in a pdf format. All changes to your order generates a new pdf order/ receipt. System could be enhanced with a text delivery notification. “ your delivery is on the way” . This will reduce the anxiety of the recipient and probably reduce phone calls to the bakery. I have been patronizing this bakery since they were on route 355. Excellent cakes and great service. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Classic Bakery has made all our family’s special occasion cakes for many years. Birthday, holidays, graduations, reunions, were all made more special with CB cakes.

Absolutely the best cakes you can get - our go-to for all special occasions!! Consistent top quality. My issue is always slow counter service, always too long of a wait. Finally staff appear when it has piled up a while, but for too long it looks like one person is getting customers out as well as answering the phone. Need to rapidly redeploy staff when customers are lining up.

I have been working with Classic Bakery for over 18 years when they had only a location in Gaithersburg, MD. Once Tysons opened, they have been as accomodating as MD. Zahra is absolutely the best and so is the rest of the staff. Their cakes are second to none and they will work with you on any possible design you can think of. Trust me , I know as we have given them so many different designs.

One of the best different cakes if had. The mango cake was so delicious and not to sweet, but just right. I drove almost an hour just to get this cake I experienced while attending a birthday party for a friend. I will definitely be trying the other flavors.

I begin with the good things: Service and atmosphere are really fine. I was served twice from different associates and both were friendly and polite. For dine in, they offer everything necessary, if you wish to have your patisserie right there. The choice of baked goods and patisserie is legit. The Greek style Baklava was good. Now not so good things: I bought one Eclaire and one Napoleon. Both were with different cream types and both tasted not good. I think there is much space for improvement, regarding the cream inside the European style patisserie. The prising, in my opinion, is very inadequate. $12.97 for Baklava, small Eclaire & Napoleon. While I was there (30 minutes), on Monday Afternoon, there were multiple customers coming in, buying something and leaving, which indicates to me, that the place is well known and pretty popular. However, there is much space for improvement regarding West European patisserie. Especially the cream. In my opinion it should be much more fine and tasty. That will be a game-changer, that will attract more gourmet customers like me. Then, it will not be so disappointing to pay ca.$13 and not meeting expectations. I recommend to go there and try yourself, to have your own opinion about that place.

The custom cake I ordered tasted awesome, however, piping on the edges nor pink icing which was requested on order was not done. This was quickly rectified by spraying a pink color on top so the cake looked beautiful.

Loved the cake I ordered from Classic Bakery, the mango flavor was a delight, but customer service I don’t know, I went a day or two before picking up my cake order to see if I could place a cupcake order but unfortunately a tall skinny lady with black hair who was going to help me decided to help other guys that spoke her same language and a blonde old lady ended up helping me with second thought and I didn’t end up ordering any cake cups but instead purchased a Backlava to give them a try, on Sunday my husband went to pick up my cake order and same thing happened to him, we felt like they didn’t like Hispanics or had some racial preference and as Hispanic/latinos we felt like we weren’t welcome and it made us feel uncomfortable

Cake was beautiful and delicious. We had to provide all the non-edible toppers and general design idea. The plastic champagne bottle on the side was not “glued” down with frosting though and fell over in transit.

This was my first experience with this bakery. It is a small, intimate store which sells a lot of nice cakes, ice cream and other sweet treats. I ordered a Black Forest cake which had chocolate mousse filling. It had just the right balance between sweetness and flavor and was large enough to serve ten people with large portions. With a personalized birthday message, it cost $54. I will definitely return to this bakery when I need a special cake.

I love the classic bakery! For years, I've been getting my cakes from here. Although I'm not typically a cake or pastry person, their cakes captivate me with their moistness, rich flavors, and the way they embrace creativity. I particularly appreciate their whipped icing, which adds a light touch compared to heavy icing. My absolute favorite flavors are the dulce de Leche, red velvet and the strawberry shortcake! Aside from the custom cakes I appreciate how the have some ready made cakes for purchase for quick pick ups. They also have a mini cafè/ gelato right in the shop as well. Give them a try! you won't be disappointed!
