I enjoyed the tasting immensly. I particularly liked side by side comparisons. A great way to spend part of my afternoon.

My brother, a Napa Valley Grower, and I have an extensive wine cellar featuring a collection of Napa's finest wines. Yesterday we had a Estate tasting of Clos Pegase best blends and cabs. In our opinion Clos Pegase high end Library red blends and cabs are some of the finest wines produced in Napa Valley. In fact, their blends may be the finest produced in Napa. My brother was so impressed by the quality and taste of the wine he added a large selection to his cellar stock. The lady who ran our tasting made sure we got plenty to choose from with generous pours and a lot of wonderful information. She was great! Their wine is priced fairly for high end reds, good value, good people, and a beautiful winery and tasting experience. Thank you Clos Pegase for another great tasting from your 35 year wine club member.

Had a great time at Clos Pegase especially our guide G man was an outstanding guide provided us in depth history of the winery and was knowledgeable with wine history and Napa. I highly recommend visiting Clos Pegase and requesting G man as a guide.

Great experience at Clos Pegase with the visit + tasting of 6 wines (rosé, 2 whites, 2 reds and 2 sparkling). The guide gave us very complete information. And the wines were very good. Small downside on the general condition of the place which was not very well maintained.

A wonderful visit here with my family. It's truly one of the best wineries and tours we experienced while in Napa Valley. Knowledgeable and fun staff, delightful wine, and intimate cave tours. Please visit!

“G-Man” was an incredible host! Extremely informative and the only winery that really explained the process and differences in grapes, not sure wine. Absolutely loved our experience AND our host!!

Love the pinot noir here! They have many other great wines as well. The cave tasting with food pairing is very well done and worth the price. Excellent service and experiences here.

We had one of the best experiences in Napa ever. Let me start by saying at the beginning, the staff greets you with great customer service. Wes was our guide throughout our tasting and he went above and beyond. He is very knowledgeable and offers one of the best service we have experienced. Our group was of 10 and he interacted and adapted to every single one. We will definitely be back. Thanks Wes!!

Love Clos Pegase! We have been members since about 2014 and highly recommend. They are known for their cabs, but we love them for their Chardonnays. Also, very dog friendly, which is why they are our winery of choice.

Tasting at Clos Pegase this weekend was wonderful. Amanda was friendly and informative as she poured us several tastings of reds. All wines poured were delicious. Me and the guys had a great time. We'll be back!

Wes provided the BEST wine tasting and cave tour. He was sooo knowledgeable, adding interesting side stories. I would definitely recommend this tour and purchasing Clos Pegas wine.

It was another great visit on a sunny day to this great venue. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly and relaxed. Quality of the selections was very good and prices in line with the market. Left with a few bottles to add to the cellar.

Clos Pegase is the friendliest winery I have visited in Napa! Wes and Amanda are amazing hosts and provided a wonderful tasting experience!

The site is gorgeous, and the wines are great. We enjoyed a walk into the caves and a beautiful May afternoon in Napa Valley.

If I could give the experience a negative star, I would have. Upon arrival, a woman (we now know as Heather) seemed annoyed to have to greet us. With a huff she begrudgingly took our names and said she would seat us in a minute. The room was empty with the exception of one other couple. Then she pointed us to the other end of the room and said “you can sit there”. Luckily a bright spot appeared and we met Shelly. She was very nice and soft spoken. She accommodated our tasting to varietals we preferred. During the whole visit, Heather was sighing and grumbling through her tasks and not presenting herself or the winery in a good light. The room was extremely hot. We requested to increase the air conditioning which seemed to once again upset Heather. We then took it upon ourselves to open a couple doors to allow for a cross breeze she was again upset. When we asked Shelly to check for availability of large formats, she was forced to ask Heather who acted put out once again. This was the last straw. We walked up to the front counter and told Shelly how unhappy we were with our experience and specifically told Heather that her attitude to us and the people working with her was unacceptable and we were leaving. Needless to say, we will never visit this winery again or recommend our friends. There are over 500 wineries in the area. Hospitality is key in obtaining and retaining customers. Obviously, Heather does not feel she needs anyone else to visit but the ownership should pay attention.

I completely recommend! We did the private tour and our tour guide Jim was amazing! He made the tour guide very personal and talked about his experience as well. It was as talking to an old friend you haven’t seen in awhile. I high recommend the private tour if you can, you really learn so much about the winery!!!

This was our second visit to Clos Pegase in 6 months and it was great! Amanda made us few right at home, made sure we had everything we needed and gave great wine tasting recommendations. We will be back! If anything could be improved, I’d say perhaps the comfort of the outdoor seating. Otherwise, it’s a very peaceful and relaxing setting!

We had a a great tasting experience with Amanda. She was so lnowledgeable and friendly. It was a gorgeous day so we sat outside right in the vineyard which made it extra special. Wine was delicious and the setting was beautiful. I would highly recommend a visit to Clos Pegase!

Amazing tasting experience in a lovely garden with views of Mount Saint Helena. Excellent wines from Chardonnay to bold, complex reds.

I have visited probably 35-40 wineries in the region and this was the only place I felt I’d really enjoy being a club member. There was way too much good wine to taste in one visit, so I will make a point to return even though I live 2700 miles away. Our guide had lots of stories about the property and made me want to hold a party inside the cave or join the summer lobster fest.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Clos Pegase wine tasting with friends. Wes was super friendly, personable, and informative. We are always happy to spend the afternoon sitting by the vines and enjoying amazing wine. They are incredibly dog friendly too!

Clos Pegase is an amazing winery: it has everything, interesting architecture, a story to tell, beautiful art inside, impeccable customer service, and, most importantly, great wines.

My husband I did a wine cave tour with Wes and we had the best time! Wes was fun and super knowledgeable. The property is beautiful and the wines are great. It was a wonderful way to spend our anniversary.

Clos Pegase is a great place to find yourself at. It is good wine and genuine people. I have been twice and enjoy everything about it. If the weather is nice there is a great view to be found here.

We’ve been members at Clos Pegase for a couple years now. Every visit has been a blast. Just did the cave tour for the third time and had Susan guide us. She was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. Definitely check this place out, every single type of wine they offer is delicious, the staff is amazing and the grounds are just beautiful. It’s impossible for us to leave without a few extra bottles in hand.

Artful integration of tasting room with picturesque time-honored Napa Valley vineyard. Especially appreciated our wine steward Dustin ever so slightly varying the flight menu which resulted in our happily purchasing a pricier vintage.

Great experience overall. Loved the Pinot noir. Gorgeous grounds. We were in the back building with Diane. She was a character, great company. I do wish there was some music playing in the background as we were the only ones there. Would recommend.

Lily was an expert on wines and we learned a lot from her during our wine tasting. We tasted 4 wines and they were all noteworthy. The location is excellent, a short distance off a county road. The building is adjacent to vineyards. Lovely interior with plenty of light. Loved the Calistoga winter passport offers!

Beautiful winery! This was a repeat visit for me but first time for my friends. We had a blast. Our server was so friendly and very generous. We are definitely going back!

Our server, Heather was excellent - very knowledgeable in the wines & intuitive about what we would enjoy most! The wines themselves were excellent & provided several interesting surprises like a Carneros Merlot. The property is beautiful. The tasting experience & the wine club benefits convinced us to join.

Generally, nice experience, the staff member was very nice and knowledgeable But during the latter portion, after generous pours we felt like there was a significant press to join the club. we came away with the sense that your organization is very bottom line driven.

We had an amazing experience at our tasting. My husband and I purchased Winter Passports and were on our way to another winery. We figured we stop by and see if they would be able to accommodate us without an appointment. Our host was able to accommodate us. We were very impressed by the wine, particularly their Pinot Noir and Cabarnet Sauvignon. The host even poured us a couple of other reserve wines since he had just opened them. We hadn't planned on becoming members but were really impressed by the wine, service and atmosphere. When we told the host that we probably couldn't do the membership due to the bottle commitment, he said they could accommodate us. We're excited to experience the perks of being club members and are already making plans to return. Leave some time to really enjoy the tasting and estate. We were having such a good time we missed our tasting at the other winery we had planned to visit. But it was worth it.

We really enjoyed a cave tour and wine and food pairing at clos pegase! Lilly was a wonderful guide. She was so warm and welcoming! It was fascinating to tour the massive, amazing caves. The tasting was held deep inside the cave. It was really beautiful with lots candies. The wine was amazing and the food was perfectly. They had a great vegan plate for me! As always loved all the wines. But the 2021 Hommage (cab sauv) was incredible! Pricy but worth it!

This winery was on the latest Calistoga wine passport. Unfortunately the experience was less than satisfactory. I work in a tasting room and I am always attentive to my guests. Our experience was far from that. Wine was poured, white wine then red wine into the same glass. Who doesn’t take the time to change glasses from a white to a red? There was maybe a total of a 30 second conversation between 4 pours, no communication from the host at all. Tons of staff standing around not attentive to anyone in the tasting room. I would not recommend anyone to spend money on a tasting with such pour service. Although my tasting was apart of the passport, any chance of purchasing wine was never an option. Our host left and never came back after the last pour. Maybe to revisit, try a wine not on the tasting we may enjoy and want to purchase, nothing! My party was tired of waiting and left, not one single other host asked if we wanted anything additional. I’d never leave a guest at my winery with the same experience as I had at Clos!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience trying these wines. They were very friendly and welcoming. The wines are wonderful. We highly recommend a visit and will definitely revisit the next time we are in Napa.
