We have been customers since our son was born in 1981! Country Deli has been family owned and operated since day one! Eating in has always been a delightful time. Ordering pick up trays etc. always ready upon arrival! I stopped making potato salad, years ago. Country Deli makes it fresh everyday and tastes like mine. So we had a basketball tournament and we decided to go here for breakfast. I am so happy we did. It was the best breakfast we ever had. The service was great and the food was high quality. I usually don't do reviews but I had to share.

I don’t often eat pancakes, but when I do I get them here! Not sure why they are so fluffy but they are the best on the planet. My wife loves the peach topped oatmeal as well. Dawn and Brian never disappoint….now if only they brought back Italian dinner night-we would be able to have all three meals here. Ps- the staff treat you like family, seriously.

The Country Deli is by far one of the best restaurants in the tristate area. Excellent food great service and atmosphere for you and the family. I can not recommend them enough if there was 10 stars they would get it. Been going there for over 20 years. If you are looking for excellent quality food this is the place

I went here years ago, and today was the first time I'd been back. Scratching my head wondering why... I now plan to become a regular. The Mexican omelet was AMAZING, ditto for the potatoes. My server, Marissa, was excellent and very friendly. She and other random people always stopped by to refill my coffee! I can't wait to go back!

Our favorite place for breakfast or lunch, and occasionally dinner. Family run, great food and people. Very reasonable. Outdoor seating. Lots of parking (more in back behind feedstore). Big B breakfast sandwich is great!

Great breakfast. We get your basic eggs, toast, potatoes and sausage. The dark German bread costs extra but is worth it. The potatoes could have been cooked more thoroughly, had to pick through them a bit. The sausage and eggs were cooked perfectly. Update: Omelets, fruit and toast, all outstanding There's a reason this place is so packed.

A truly comfortable (read 'homey' and 'folksy' inside in the best sense, more Victorian doll house than merely kitschy) breakfast nook, cozily nestled in the pastoral farmlands directly across from Ridley Creek State park. Friendly staff and decent service. (it's often busy, especially on weekends!) Ingredients are always very (farmy sometimes even?) fresh, and portion sizes and overall value is excellent. I have not yet eaten anything other than standard breakfast fare here, but would be surprised if anything served was actually bad. A MUST TRY is their sourdough bread, and/or any other baked goods (which are small family bakery tasty, but made off-site) which they offer a tantalizing and sumptuous variety of.

The “A” sandwich on the menu ( Turkey, bacon, Swiss and maple mustard) was phenomenal! One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! Service is super friendly!

Ordered takeout lunch for my wife and I on a busy Sunday. Food ready when promised and absolutely delicious.

Food was great. Pancakes heavenly both regular and pumpkin. Homefries nice and chunky. Let them know we were first timers and they all came over thanking us for eating with them even though the place was packed. We will be back to try all the other goodies.

I got the scrapple, egg and cheese on a long roll. I loved it. Scrapple was cubed. Best decision I made in several years was to get a side of hash browns for $4.50. Red potatoes, hand sliced and grilled. I love this place and it's not a cheesesteak so I am going to use this as a learning moment. Guys, if you want to elevate your dating game from the corner bar and pick up lines like ‘Did it hurt when you fell to earth, Angel?’ Take your dates here.

We kind of stumbled across this place. It’s such a cute little place that reminds you of a little restaurant somewhere in the Poconos. The food was excellent and the service was even better! I’m definitely coming back to this place we had breakfast but I just found out that they have dinner to on Wednesday

This tiny place has excellent food reasonably priced. Last time we ate here our waitress never returned but she was still in the restaurant and 2 others came over to finish our experience. It was weird. Also received no utensils from the first girl who disappeared and never came back to check on us. She even stood next to us as we paid and walked to the door. I like this place but I hope we have another waitress next time!

I have always enjoyed breakfast at Country Deli. It is my favorite place for breakfast. This was the first time at the Country Deli for lunch. The lunch was fantastic. My wife enjoyed the Harvest Salad with chicken salad on top. It included fresh fruit, greens, veggies and nuts. I had the Rueben which was phenomenal. The sandwich was very thick stuffed with moist lean corned beef. We definitely be back for lunch.

Been coming here for about 25 years my grandparents have retired down to Florida but I can't wait to stop by today. Best comfort food for 50 miles.

Friendly service, good breakfast

Usually I can't find anything to eat in a diner or deli with a menu full of comfort food. But I did and next time we meet Delaware County friends here, I'll know what to order: Greek Omelet, (delicious!) Sliced Tomatoes (instead of carb-filled home fries) and Russian Black Bread (instead of white). It's a winner!

First time there it was incredibly amazing....its a very nice place.... lots of good people

The country deli was the perfect way to start the day! The servers all went above and beyond to make sure we felt like we were at home. The french toast muffin was unforgettable and the banana pancakes with walnuts were mouth watering. To top it off, the create your own omelette with kielbasa and cheese was deliciously different. I cannot wait to go back to the country deli for another great meal!

I never knew this place was here. My buddies recommended it and they were spot on. The people and the place are terrific. It has a family feel to it. I was there for breakfast and left there feeling full for a very reasonable price. Every member of the staff was just great. Real nice people. Outdoor seating is available too. Parking is ample. Be advised the place is somewhat tight and gets busy so go early. Country Deli is every bit of 5 stars. Great food, great people. Great price. I highly recommend Country Deli for breakfast. You will be disappointed.

Wow. Amazing hide-a-way food spot. They have tables not too many but enough. The food was unbelievable. We had breakfast One of our members ordered off menu and it was not a problem. I had the pepperoni and mozzarella omelette omg it was amazing truly a wonderful pairing. Take out and bakery options available looked so good.

I think the Country deli is a great place to eat lunch! They are very quick and everything is just so fresh. The soups are out of this world and they are homemade. They have delicious cookies and muffins! Yes if I could I would eat lunch there everyday. I think they serve dinners there on Wednesday evenings but check first just to be sure. I never went to dinner there yet but I will try it one of these nights. The staff is nice also. Since I first wrote this review, I have gone to The Country Deli on a Wed. evening for pasta night. I had their trio pasta and also tried the chicken scallopini which is my favorite. You also get soup or salad and roll and butter!

What a great place to have a good old country breakfast. Man they even do home fries right Hot, crunchy golden brown pieces of potatoes with moist insides. There are muffins, breads, cinnamon buns, crumb cake, even Irish Soda bread. This bread is like crack for the foodie. If you are in the area or passing through, this country deli restaurant is the perfect spot to stop and enjoy a home cooked or baked meal

Whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner only served (wednesday or Friday) you will get a plentious meal. Muffins are all homemade. Outdoor seating is available. Special Italian cousine on dinner menu. Since this is a unique breakfast place you will have a little bit of a well worth it wait.

This place is literally amazing every single time me and my boyfriend go. We have had many different things like omelettes, pancakes, and home fries which of all been amazing. They have the best breakfast omelettes and the best specials! Food is quickly served, pricing is fair, and people are so nice. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic breakfast place. Always try to go when visiting the area. I would come just for the Russian black bread alone . Do not miss it ! They always have good specials , the servers are attentive and the coffee and tea service is timely. Prices are very reasonable and there is an outside seating area also. Near Ridley Creek Park if you need to walk off the delicious pancakes after. Omelettes and sandwiches are always a good choice too. Highly recommend !

So, I come here frequently and must let everyone know what a gem this little jewel is. First, the staff. If you ever want to feel like “Norm” on Cheers ( where everyone knows you’re name ) come here. The owners and staff are friendiest and inviting restaurant people I know. I always feel like I’m visiting a friend. The food. It’s a breakfast/lunch place how can it be special? Well let me tell you, the quality of the food here is top notch. Large portions, hot, coffee always filled and continuous “are you all right can I get you something” from the servers. Side note: Brian ( owner/chef) could easily open a pastry shop anywhere in this country! The scones in particular are the best I’ve ever tasted. Go here…..it’s worth the trip ( every time ).

Food was ok, nothing to rave at about though. Ate inside, too many flies! They really need someone to wipe and clean all those cookie jars, dirty and dusty.

Family owned restaurant with great food, great staff, and a great atmosphere! Breakfast is our preferred meal (incredible pancakes!!!), but definitely check out their daily specials, lunch menu, and Wednesday night dinners, they're always creative and delicious.

A gem a little hidden. I am a food professional myself and known to be a hint difficult at times, but this was great food, great service, great priced definitely worth finding it. We had hot sandwiches and both were great, great focaccia, great sourdough, the meats were great and so was the salad. Nice priced, really nice service too. Will be back

Update: 4.14.21 visit. Sandwich and services were both great. Always on the lookout for great Ruebens and this was one. Great breakfast menu. Service was very lackadaisical. Will try again though. Thanks for responding. Never got coffee. Had to ask when food came, because Waitress was out of sight. She spent a lot of time talking to her friends. I understand everyone has bad day. Will certainly try again. Thank you so much for caring. On Saturday, November 7 around 10:00am.

Great find after spending the morning in Ridley Creek SP. Menu is nicely varied and our two sandwiches were excellent. Outdoor seating is convenient and the restaurant engages in safety precautions a la Covid. Quaint deli/restaurant within 5 minutes of Ridley Creek and with very affable staff and very good food. Highly recommend.

The hidden gem of the area! We only discovered it this year, wanting to support small local businesses during the shutdowns. The food is consistently great and the fresh baked items never disappoint. We love the hometown feel and hospitality each time we visit, which is now a regular occurrence!
