So disappointed today in eggs Benedict usually the food is outstanding didn't even adjust ou check after being told the food was not right so didn't get to eat my meal sorry

I happened upon this restaurant and, boy, am I happy I stopped in!!! The food was fresh and flavorful and the service was great! I highly recommend checking this place out.

So.... I was taking my mamma 2 the doc in this little plaza and I noticed this Cafe in the corner while I was waiting on mom. I was greeted immediately by a server named sailor Lilly and Jennifer. Both very vibrant. Full of friendliness and very quick 2 want to help.I was not expecting this kind of feel in a little busy Cafe. It was around lunch time and I reviewed the menu I wanted breakfast and that's what I got the most delicious scrambled eggs with fresh avocado and a side of grits. Yum yum. The cook was the owner and I could just see the passion for his cooking and taste it as well. Very pleased and will be returning thanks guys hope the Cafe succeeds. Vero would most definitely be missing a great place to unwind and eat if they didn't have you guys.

BLT, sweet potato fries, and Arnold Palmer!!! Lunch complete.

All I have to say is that this place is awesome. The food is delicious. The service is spectacular what a hidden gem in this medical complex.

Called in for a pick up, grouper basket was ready on arrival. Was only a pick up order but Sarah saw that I stopped outside at one of there spotless table’s. My hunger hit hard and and the food smelled so tasty, it was gonna make it home. She came and checked on me and ran in for some requested extra tartar sauce. Impressed by the food, impressed by the service then Sarah takes time to escort an elderly couple to a table and assist with the menu, 10 minutes before closing! It’s rare to see this level of dedication so just want to give a shout out to Sarah, the kitchen help and proprietors. I’ll definitely return and recommend Scratch Gritt

Best little hidden gem. Mike was wonderful, excellent service and the food was delicious. The portions are huge, I could only eat a third of what was served, I only wish you were open on weekends so my husband could join me the next time.

Was given the wrong food but they fixed it. I wish the chicken was cut into pieces instead of one big piece for the chicken basket, and fries need to be more crunchy.

MY FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT.... EVERYTHING IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS... THERE FOOD, SERVICE AND DAYCORIUM ARE A 15, OUT OF 10... 😁 PLEASE.... DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND EAT THERE.... YOU WILL BE A CUSTOM FOR LIFE....

So good! My first time visiting and everything was fresh and delicious. Our favorites were the fried green tomato eggs benedict, the make your own omelet and the sweet potato waffle fries- the latter comes with some kind of magical bbq sauce and is just amazing. Will definitely be back.

I found this while waiting for my daughter to see the endondist. Great scratch kitchen, food was very fresh, very good service, nice atmosphere and outdoor seating. I will definitely come back!

Ordered online, food was ready when I arrived. Everything's very fresh friendly staff. Omelet was cooked perfectly. No shortage of fillings in the omelet! Fried flounder sandwich cooked perfectly an excellent.

On my way to a Dr’s Office, I stopped in and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Poached eggs, Smoked Gouda Grits, Soft Bacon and a huge Southern Biscuit, which I took home for later. Excellent.

Service was fast and efficient. Eggs benny was delicious and the homefries crispy/fluffy. Julia was all smiles and friendly.

Nice servers, and unexpectedly nice atmosphere in an industrial/medical complex. Awful prices for barely OK food. ($14 for BLT & Fries, plus $3 to add turkey to make it a 'club'). Maybe where the other reviewers come from, prices don't mean much but this is off our radar for a meal now. Might even try the hospital cafeteria !! the GOOD: The bacon on our BLT was amazing, the MEH: otherwise it was very plain. Bread was not quite toasted, lettuce a very thin wilty leaf, tomato was ok but not worth the effort. the BAD: $3 for 2 slices of dry lunchmeat turkey to make it a club was a total waste of money. NO mayo offered or on the sandwich; no ketchup offered or provided. Fries were droopy. So the total for this 'club' was about $17, plus the tip made it $20 for a very MEH sandwich. For the $$$ I'll go to Bonefish or Green Marlin or Mr. Manatee and enjoy the food. PS: Takeout wasn't but 5 minutes over to the hospital waiting area, so no excuse for droopy food!!

The food is good but they're always out of half their menu. It could be first thing in the morning and the first costumer there and you would still be told "sorry we're out of that"

Found this place on a random Google search. I ordered an " Omelet your way" and was not disappointed at all. It's a little hidden place in the middle of the Riverside Medical Center. The food was hot, fresh, and very delicious! They have outside seating. You can pick your food up inside or at their pickup window. I highly recommend giving this place a try! Can't wait to try other items!

Absolutely the best breakfast I've had in years. I'm passing though town with my uncle and stumbled upon this gem. They quickly brought me great coffee, omelet and a waffle that looked like it came from a cooking show and tasted great. I also got to meet the owner and the waitstaff, all really nice people. I highly recommend this place.

We dine in or take out weekly and the food is always consistent and delicious! Summer berry salad with grilled chicken is the bomb. Thanks GRIT!

Great food in a quasi office setting.

I heard about this place from a networking event. I first went with a friend for lunch. I had chicken noodle soup and the cobb salad. Generous portions and the soup tasted homemade. I then went for breakfast with my husband and had the creme brulee french toast. He had the breakfast casserole. Both were amazing. I never order french toast out but was so happy I ordered it here. Thick slices dipped in egg and it had a light vanilla flavor. Today, my husband and I had breakfast and we both ordered eggs benedict. They use real English muffins. The eggs were poached perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was so rich. As you can see by the pictures, my husband cleaned his plate, but I left a small bite for "Mr. Manners". We'll be back again.

What a hidden gem! This place has one of the best breakfast in and around Vero Beach! The servers are super friendly but extremely busy. I asked for a coffee a few times and never got it but that's because they are runned off their feet and I cannot fault them for that. The place is small but has a comfortable and homey feel. The food is absolutely incredible. The portions are large and each ones are made to order which is why it takes a bit longer but well worth the wait!

This was the perfect brunch destination for a Sunday. Greeted by a Great Hostess. Prompt Service. Food was of Stellar Quality. A definite return for me.

We are from New York and during our visit to Disneys Vero Beach resort one time we found this little gem of a restaurant. Today we personally met Andrea and told her how good her place is!! They serve breakfast and lunch only till 2pm and it’s worth trying!! The food is always hot and fresh for breakfast!! This is a regular stop for us when we are visiting Vero Beach!!

So happy I found this place! The area is not known for inventive quality food and Grit fills the void. I had the blueberry muffin French toast which was amazing. My partner had the shrimp and grits and said it was excellent. We tried their biscuits because it’s a good test of a restaurants “brunch ability” and it was awesome. The location is a bit odd, in the middle of a healthcare plaza, but it doesn’t detract at all from the experience. It’s actually quite breezy and nice at the outdoor dining space. There were several other things I am looking forward to trying…the fried green tomatoes will be a big test since very few places get it right. So we will definitely be back!

Off the beaten path but well worth the trip! Breakfast was delicious and the potatoes are amazing:)

Our first time! First, kind , inviting and attentive servers. The menu was exciting but, the breakfast was probably one of the best we’ve ever had! There are eggs and then there are eggs… amazing avocado toast with a perfect Sunny side up egg and my husbands omelet was perfection. You must check it out and we are planning to try their lunch!
