A decent local bar with ok drinks. The bar tenders are always friendly and attentative. I've never eaten here. It's mainly a place for tourists but locals do go here as well.

Drink prices are very reasonable and they had a good band

Great place all around. Wether you're doing a little day drinking, catching one of the live bands, or having lunch with the family on a beach day, this remains one of the few local spots that can accommodate just about anyone. Reasonably priced drinks, A+ staff and a chill environment.

Took over an hour to leave once we got our checks. Waitress was no where in site. Manager never came over and we even went into the kitchen. There were two groups at 2 in the afternoon. 9 of us and 6 at another table both waiting. At one point no one was around for over 20 minutes.

Julia was a great waitress and the drinks were amazing. I highly recommend getting a flight of daiquiris then you don’t have to make a decision. .

We usually go here a few times a year, but we wont be back. We were seated and waited about 25 minutes for drinks, then we waited another hour for peel and eat shrimp, chicken tenders and fries. When we got the food the fries were missing and the shrimp (which were cold and on ice) were slimy. So we sat there for over an hour and a half for chicken tenders and shrimp that were clearly bad. We won't be returning. Very disappointed

Came here on my birthday after a terrible experience up the street at the saltwater hippie bar. My group and I loved this place! Yummy drinks and food. The waitresses here are the sweetest girls! So refreshing after dealing with the mean girls working up at the saltwater hippie bar . If I ever vacation in Madeira again I will definitely come back to this place! Shoutout to the one waitress who wrote me a list of local beaches, bars, restaurants etc to check out. I wish I could remember her name, so so nice !

Went here Sunday and the food was amazing. Went tonight and the cheese logs are dead, no one cut my pizza so I used scissors to cut it at hotel. Fries were undercooked and the lettuce on my sandwich was dead.

Just came for drink… stayed for hours. Great selections of drinks and activities. Pool tables are great. And service was excellent. Julia made an impression, she was not my server but checked on me and everyone else she saw every time she walked by. I was a restaurant manager for 8 years and Julia is an asset.

The drinks are SWEET which is not normally my thing, but absolutely delicious and incredibly strong. Also... CHEAP! Not to mention the beautiful views during sunset. I always grab a drink and enjoy the beautiful colors at the outside bar.

Awesome little place near the beach, enjoyed some fun bar games and some great daiquiri flavors. The appetizers were half off during happy hour and all tasted great.

Great atmosphere. I like the fact there are 2 pool tables. Their buffalo wings with homemade blue cheese dressing are totally delicious. The sweet potato fries are amazing. Their drinks are fairly priced.

Fun place, great band, great food and atmosphere

0 stars if I could. We arrived at this location and sat there for 30 minutes without getting a single drink. We were greeted by a waitress who clearly did not want to be there and was nasty and very intoxicated. We purchased a daiquiri flight that looked like someone took giant sips out of all of them and when confronted management was hostile and nasty. Whole staff appeared to be very intoxicated. Will never be returning, horrendous experience. On top of that, we ordered food that took over a hour and never came. Been to other daiquiri decks and they are certainly not like this one.

The food and drinks were excellent. Service was quick and the waitress Natasha was awesome. My absolute favorite waitress/bartender there.

Julia was so nice to our pup. We had just been kicked out of Five Bucks Drinkery for 3 barks (a supposed dog friendly place) and she brought water and treats and made all of us feel right at home. We're locals and will definitely come back soon cuz the food amd drinks were incredible!!

Tasha took care of us and she was not only a pleasure to speak with and hang with but she was a great server. She was prompt, on top of our drinks and gave great suggestions. She works hard and you can see it. She zooms around and helps everyone. Girl deserves a raise! Thank you Tasha!!

Both times I've been here i have waited over 45 minutes to get my food and they weren't even busy. Its a shame that such a place that has potential has horrible service.

The bartender was really slow and service was pathetic. A lot of items on the menu are “Market Price”. We are not living in the pandemic anymore. Get with the times and hire a bartender that is personable and provides adequate service. The place was not busy.

This place has an amazing grouper sandwich. Good sweet potato fries too. 🍟

Great daiquiris and good food options

An old staple of Madeira Beach. Stopped in for drinks in the afternoon. Service was slow and the outside bar was not open. Wasn't real busy but staff did very good to keep up with the crowd flow. Will definitely be there again in the future.

When I first saw the place from outside, I said to my girlfriend, "Hey, baby, this is the spot we need to check out." However, the bartender, who might have been new, mixed my drink with too much sweet and sour, causing me to drool from the side of my mouth. They remade it and it turned out fine, but I'm not sure about the vibe. I don’t think I would come here again. I then asked for the bill and she ignored me and started greeting every person who came in.

We were so excited to try this place and it ended up being a huge disappointment. The flavors they have for the daiquiris is not bad but they’re not strong at all! It’s frozen juice. We had to get our personal rum and add it to the drink. The crab and shrimp dip was the best thing we had. That deserves a 10. The drinks get a 5. The sausage dip needs to actually have a dip sauce I felt like I was just eating a bowl of sausages for breakfast. I give the sausage dip a 4. My wife had a burger she said the burger was cooked perfectly but her bun was stale and hard as hell! The onions were cut so thick like they were made for a salad. I had a fish sandwich. It was blah! No seasoning to the fish…no sauce with it just mayonnaise made to look like tartar sauce. I give my sandwich a 4 my wife gives the burger a 3. The waitress that wasn’t our waitress was better than the one we had. & the waitress we did have assumed that she was going to keep our change like she did a great job. If the food lacks the customer service should be superior. We didn’t complain about the food because we literally had been sitting there for so long we were over it! We started to let her keep the 20+ tip because we both were aggravated. It definitely was not worth the $100.00 we spent. I would have been way more satisfied by eating at McDonald’s. We won’t be returning but please make some changes to your food items and drinks! This is honest feedback we are not looking for anything in return

We went for dinner, there was live music, a great atmosphere, and tasty food! I got a flight of 4 daiquiris, it was absolutely worth it to be able to try all the flavors. The most impressive part of my experience was, by far, our server, Dani. Attentive, friendly, funny, and welcoming. Thanks for the awesome experience!

Waited for over 10 minutes to even be greeted. Meanwhile, my partner and I witnessed at least three other people who came in after the fact get service before us. The worst part of the experience was we witnessed 2 waitresses arguing about helping us, which felt honestly like we're profiled since we're slightly darker than the average customer that we observed in the establishment. Thankfully our waitress was very nice but the two waitresses that didn't want to take our order didn't and our poor waitress had to go out of her way to cover our table that appeared not to be not in her zone. Pizza looked like something from chuckie cheese and tasted way worse. We will never be going back to this terrible ran establishment. Silver lining, however, Lucky Lizard is in the same plaza and has much better food, and they treat their customers well. Go there instead and thank me later.

Right across the street with limited views of the water. They had a huge selection of daiquiris and the price was about $7/drink. We didn't eat, but we would come back again for drinks.

Those of you that follow my reviews are used to very in-depth write-ups. And some of you might notice that what I originally put up has been taken down and that is because I never had a chance to go back and I think it's unfair for me to keep the original posting up without that opportunity. Sadly I will not be able to revisit this establishment at least not anytime in the near future, heading back to the good old Midwest tomorrow. However if I get the chance in the future I will definitely return to this establishment.

A group of 16 of us went for supper. Very disappointing. We had 2 separate tables & it took a while for our drink orders to arrive. The restaurant was not busy as it was a Wednesday night. My table received our food & finished our meal before the second table even received their food. It took so long that we assumed they were just having drinks & didn't order food, wrong! Why the delay as the place was almost empty? I had a club sandwich (hard to mess up a club, right) which had no mayo or mustard or anything & the sweet potato fries were cold. The other diners mentioned the cold food, too. Even for bar food this was disappointing. Our server, Candy, did a good job, however that was the only positive of the visit. This was my first visit here & I won't be back. Lots of other places to dine in Mad Beach, so I would skip this place.

Nice casual atmosphere for a bar that kids can play arcade games, pool, air hockey and shoot the basketball whike waiting for food. Kid menu.

Daiquiri Shack has the best staff ! We visited there many times in our 2-week vacation and had great food, drinks, and service. Rick, the manager, was very friendly and such a hard-worker! Came down to Florida for a quick trip to get out of the snow and this was the kind of little beach bar/restaurant that we were looking for. The only thing missing was that it was not directly on the water. It’s got an outside deck and large bar inside with a fun beachy theme with a wall of frozen daquiri machines! Our bartender Tasha was FANTASTIC! She not only made great drinks but since my wife loves daquiris Tasha mixed different ones together for her. Tasha knew everything about the beach for a couple of tourists like us and had THE BEST suggestions on things to do in our short time there. She gave us and everyone else at the bar her full attention and without missing a beat still kept everything very neat and clean. A couple of places we went to that were not worth reviewing either seemed to be 'locals only' or 'tourists only'… But here everyone at the bar seemed to be a mix of tourists and locals and was having a good time. Tasha’s personality made the whole bar atmosphere truly fun and a highlight of our mini-vacation. The food was good but kind of pricey which we found all along the beach. The smoked mahi spread was great. Next time we come down we’re definitely going back to see our favorite bartender and ‘tour guide’ Tasha…and we’ve got to save room for some of the key lime pie she tempted us with.

The food is always good. The atmosphere is one of a kind and very inviting. Tasha the bartender is very attentive and always a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend the Daq Shack to anyone looking for all of the above whether you are in town on vacation or a local.

The Daiquiri is not a Daiquiri. It's a icy/slushy with well alcohol with a not too good of a taste. Not like Fat Tuesday's or anything from New Orleans or Mississippi. On the other hand the food was great. Wings were great, and the stuff mushrooms with crabs.

This place is pretty pricey. The price of chicken wings is quoted as "Market". It was $10.99 for five wings, and $16.99 for ten wings. They are good wings, but I bristle at the price.

In town for law enforcement training. Me and 6 of my fellow officers watched our Packers play last night at the outside bar. The manager kept it open for us and made us feel like we were back home. Bartender Natasha was great!

Brought a friend here who was visiting from out of town and wanted to have dinner on the beach. They have outside tables so you get the beach atmosphere while you enjoy your food. The grouper sandwich is HUGE, can literally make 2 meals out of it. But the absolute best part is the Daquiris. There is so many to choose from. And if there's just too many to decide which one you want, I highly suggest trying the flight of Daquiris. You get 4 different Daquiris to try, so you can try a variety. Great place to bring your family too and on the weekends I know they have pretty good live bands playing. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and hope my kids will continue the tradition.
