If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They closed days after saying we will see you after the holidays once we reopen AFTER I purchased a gift card. I have since come to learn none of their desserts are made in house even though they claim to be. They don’t even have an oven!!! If you are looking for what you that was “their” individuals, you can go to Bakers Perfection in Rockaway, any Palermo’s location, or Calandra’s. Additionally, for custom cakes, you can go to Cupcake Cafe in Hamburg. Purchasing from multiple vendors does not guarantee any items sold to be nut free like they claimed! I would love a response on how I can be reimbursed for the gift card I purchased that was in retrospect, stealing my money.

Go inside and talk to the owners very smart and they can do wedding cakes.

Justin and his mother are the nicest people. They were both so informative and really excelled in their customer service. Now, the best part. They have a wide variety of individual desserts with an awesome array of flavors. They give you that small business, personal experience to get you what you really like. I will be back and wish the best for this company.

Dalcourt’s Desserts is awesome!! Definitely stop in if you’re looking for some beautiful and delicious desserts. I ordered a variety of several individual desserts for a co workers birthday and they were so delicious, generous in size, and brought a wow factor for a special occasion! The owner is very sweet, and even threw in an extra brownie in my order. His mom who also works there gave me a cake pop on my way out and it was insanely good!! They went out of their way to do extra. I’ll definitely be going back to support this family owned business and I hope you do too! You won’t be disappointed. I personally had the cannoli dessert… it was incredible!!! :)

Amazing cakes! We’ve used them multiple times for my daughter’s birthday cakes and no matter the picture they always do an amazing job and the cake tastes great! Highly recommend!

The Dalcourt's are such nice people! They took their time to explain all of the desserts to me and my daughter, and made us feel very welcome. Everything we bought was delicious, the pumpkin pie pudding was especially good! We will definitely be back to try more things soon!

Such a great asset to this town. His bakery items are amazing. Last year we got his Turkey Cake for Thanksgiving and it was such a hit with my grandchildren, (and the big kids too). Try them out, you won't be disappointed!

Oh my goodness! The cases are filled with such delicious looking pastries and other delicacies! We got an assortment of scrumptious treats - the triple chocolate bomb, fruit tart, St. Joseph's something yummy, and pumpkin pudding!!! I was visiting my friend, but I'll make sure to come back when I'm in town again!!

Amazing Service and Desserts!!! I needed a large dessert platter for a birthday celebration. They helped me select some delicious seasonal dessert choices and delivered the boxes to the recipient beautifully wrapped. Everyone was excited to try each piece. Highly recommend. This is one of the best dessert places in Warren County 😋 they cater to what you need. We order all our pies and cakes there. They also have a great selection of pastries 🍰

Dalcourt’s made a 3-tier cake for my sisters wedding and they did an amazing job! The red velvet was delicious, it looked exactly like what I asked for, and the owners treated us like family and couldn’t be nicer people. I can’t recommend them enough!

Such a sweet place! (Pun fully intended) We happen to be in the Hackettstown area, on our way down from Sparta. I remembered seeing a post on FB about these desserts. When the store popped up on our last minute search for a bakery, I knew this was the best chance to try it out. We had several desserts, all rich and decadent crowd pleasers. Stopped into Dalcourt’s on Saturday looking for last minute desserts for a big birthday party. The owner was so kind & welcoming and gave us a full description of every item they had! Cheese cake the baker recommended was excellent.

Ever since I discovered Dalcourt’s Desserts it became my favorite pastry place in the area. There’s always a great choice of pastries if you’re looking for freshly made pastry treats and mini cakes. Superior service, too! We’ve ordered birthday cakes from Dalcourts, and I also like stopping by to get our after dinner desserts once in a while. Oh and if you like pudding I highly recommend to try their seasonal pudding choices.

Dalcourts just put together cake pops for my husband’s 40th birthday! They over delivered my vision and the pops were delicious. It’s an extra bonus that the staff is warm, friendly and genuinely excited to work with you!

I became a loyal customer of Dalcourt's Desserts when the owner was just starting out in college. He began selling homemade pudding in the cafeteria and all of the students RAVED about them. His desserts have only gotten better and better since then! He puts so much thought into each item he serves and it shows. You don't want to miss out on these desserts, I promise you that! Best in the area!

Dalcourt’s Desserts has an amazing selection of desserts and the staff are delightful. I’m sure that you’ll find the sweet that you’re looking for but I’ve always been partial to the Birthday Cake Pudding.

Justin and his team did a wonderful job for my son’s first birthday. They were very attentive and thoughtful in taking care of our custom order of two cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and chocolate covered pretzels. We received so many compliments on design and most importantly the taste! My family worked with Dalcourt’s Desserts in the past for my baby shower and they once again met and exceeded our expectations. Can’t recommend them enough!!

My review is on a cake this bakery made for me in April 2023 for my son’s 1st birthday.. My cake looked nothing like the (other than the color) inspiration photo. None of the stuff on the cake we had talked (via text) about was on the cake! I didn’t want to post a negative review, but I felt compelled since someone mentioned how bad and dry the cake at my son’s party was… and I agreed- I KNOW it was!! The cake was very dry, bland and tasteless. It was just sweet without a single touch of flavor. I requested a chocolate cake with a raspberry cream filling and I got a smear of what probably was just red dyed cream... ZERO flavor :( Very dissatisfied and disappointed for a simple cake at almost $100, that Walmart probably could have pulled off better… The initial customer service was okay. Justin was very nice, helpful and attentive while I communicated and placed my order ahead, but I did expect a follow up text/call after picking up my order which was a bummer he or the shop didn’t follow up. I had high expectations for this cake and should have gone with the party venue’s most used vendor instead but since this place has great reviews I decided to try Delcourts.

Great Atmosphere, Incredible Desserts! 10/10

I stopped in here last minute on a Saturday night hoping they would have something for my mother's birthday. I was planning on just getting something little but walked out with cake bites, brownies and gluten free desserts (I'm a celiac). Everything was delicious! I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. Justin was super kind and you can tell he loves what he does. I highly recommend them for whatever your sweet tooth needs are!

Great bakery! Great selection with variety. They sell AMAZING cheesecake that you NEED to try. I ordered a bunch of stuff for a bridal shower this weekend and the presentation was beautiful. Also, I found out that everything they sell is nut free. I highly recommend.

Was looking to get a custom cake made for a colleague and stumbled upon Dalcourt's. Everything looked amazing, so it was surely not a hard choice. They are super responsive and absolutely helpful. I had the idea, Google and Dalcourt to make it come to life. Delivery was GREAT! There were hiccups, on my behalf - Justin was still patient, courteous and made sure the goods arrived safely. Probably the best delivery experience I had by far. Even though I won't be able to taste the cake, the recipient thoroughly enjoyed it. I will surely have to make a trip on my own, just for me! They offer quite a bit of goodies that are hard to resist. If you're around the Hackettstown area, this is surely a stop to make. Also! They are indeed nut-free. I was notified this before my order was confirmed which was nice. I myself, nor the recipient have any issues with nuts but I think this is a good thing to point out for all those who are looking. I always walk away happy from Dalcourt's Desserts. The staff is always so incredibly kind and helpful. They are my go to dessert shop in an area littered with great food and treats. When I’m hosting or bringing something to a party they are my first choice ever time. I make it a point to always try something new and so far I haven’t been disappointed! Dalcourts is the kinda place you brag about and secretly hope stays a hidden gem.

The desserts here are incredible, layered with depth and complexity- the best bakery in Warren County. Whatever you get, it's going to be the best version of that thing you've ever had. Fans of creamy desserts especially are going to find a lot to love here. The owner is also super passionate, knowledgeable, and does their best to give a great customer experience.

My daughters Birthday is today, her request was a lemon meringue pie. I reached out to Dalcourts on Tuesday and they were so easy to work with! I placed my order and picked it up tonight, it was absolutely delicious! My daughter said the best she's ever had! They also gave her two cake pops for her Birthday, which was so nice, she loved them as well! I will absolutely be trying more goodies from there😁

Stopped by while we were waiting for our ramen order next door and holy moly, what a great find! I came across this bakery when I was searching for the perfect pastry during my third trimester, and I was blown away! The desserts are delicious! I have loved every one that I tried (especially anything oreo). The owners are the nicest people and are very personable. The environment is very inviting and friendly I’m so glad I found this place! I 100% recommend going and trying it out! You won’t regret it!

Incredibly great service! The cake looked and tasted delicious! Their other desserts looked fantastic too! The cookies were alright but they warmed them up for us so the chocolate was all melted and gooey. They greeted us and talked to us about the cake or other items we were looking at. Not only is everything great that they have but every single person that works there is AMAZING they go above and beyond for all their customers ! We had these cookies made for my sister-in-laws baby shower and they were absolutely amazing!

Last time I ordered from here from door dash they sent me the wrong items. I reached out to them to let them know and i was told that they were sorry that they had high schooler helping out and they probably messed up my order. I then asked if i can stop by to get the right items and they said no because they were out of the items I ordered…so they lied jus to get rid of me. I didnt let it go and their solution was next time i come they would “take care” of me…well guess what? i am NEVER coming back. Overpriced old desserts! You get barely any cake its mostly icing…not worth it!

I finally went to Dalcourt’s Desserts after seeing all the posts. I took my mother and daughter with me and have to say… AMAZING! The desserts were phenomenal and the staff (I am guessing mother and son) were even more phenomenal! I felt that cozy kind of love as if I have known them forever. We all had our favorites so I can’t say one was better than the other but we will definitely be back! Have to try them all!!

If you need a cake for any occasion this is the place to go. I went in the other day not knowing the exact cake I wanted or needed and the owner Justin helped me out through every step, he went through every step with detail from flavor, size, design and everything in between. Everyone at the party was amazed at how it came out and how amazing the cake tasted. I would have some pictures but it was gone so fast that none were taken. Justin thank you for all your help and it is safe to say I know where to go now and where I’ll be sending all my family and friends for their dessert needs.

It’s hard to find a bakery where things look cool AND taste good! My son and his friends LOVED the Super Mario themed cupcakes and cookies. They tasted as good as they looked! Will definitely be using them again!

They have the best deserts around and cakes

A family member was visiting NJ on his birthday, and I asked Dalcourt's if they could deliver something special to his hotel before he checked in so it would be waiting for him. The desserts were beautiful, and from what I heard, delicious!

The double or triple or quad chocolate cake. Can't remember the exact name but...omg. Just get it. The tiramisu was really good, too. Listen to their recommendations, and you won't regret it.
