We were searching for an authentic Mediterranean restaurant in N Canton and found it in Damascus. Food was incredible, service was great and the portions were outstanding! This will become our go to place for Mediterranean! Great value as pricing was very fare.

The food was good, but there was no beef available. The chairs were still on the tables as we walked in, which wasn't really inviting. Next time we will order take out.

The woman who works the front is probably the sweetest woman I’ve ever met! I’ve been here 3x in 6 weeks and the food is constantly good!! The chicken kabob sandwich is my favorite!!

I absolutely love the food here - Mediterranean is my favorite to begin with, this is authentic and fresh. The fattoush salad is excellent, the hummus is on point, and if you're feeding a couple of people the combo with the kefta, chicken and shawarma is a great choice!

My boyfriend and I tried their falafel, fried cauliflower, mujadara, and chicken shwarma plate (with fries and delicious hummus), and then had arabic coffee and tea to drink. Everything was amazing and tasted just like my Teta's cooking. I cannot stress how good and fresh everything was. The owner is so friendly and lovely to talk to. I thought the prices here were very fair too. I ate and ate and still had so much food we had to take it home in multiple containers! It was enough for a full lunch for both of us the next day. I can't wait to come back and eat some more!

We were given gift cards last holiday season and decided to go when we were too tired to cook. The place looked beautiful inside like a grandmother's house. Don't be shocked by the price of the food as you get sooo much for what you're paying for. All of it was homemade and delicious. Just getting 2 platters was like having 4 meals worth of food, not to mention the wonderful appetizers. Some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. 15/10 highly recommend trying I'd you want a home-cooked meal made with love

We love Damascus!! The greatest compliment I can give this place is the food tastes like it’s cooked with love, like they cooked it for there own family, true HOME cooking!! Cooking for those you love is different!! Thats the feeling you get ordering and eating from Damascus ❤️ truely great food and nice people too!

Can't say enough good things about this place. I go here every couple of weeks. The owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. And the food is on a whole other level. Healthy and delicious. If you go, try the baklava. It's AMAZING

This is such a gem! Friendly staff, clean and the food is excellent!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The inside is cozy and you can seat yourself or get carry out. The food smelled delicious and came out in a very timely manner. The chicken shawarma and rice was flavourful, as well as the kabob sandwich (wrap). I will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Food is amazingly delicious. Do not let this gem fool you by the storefront. The salad was fresh, chicken packed with flavor and the rice...so fluffy and light. Well Done.

One of my favorite places to eat. I always get the chicken kabob platter with rice. The chicken is well seasoned and tender, the salad made with fresh ingredients and the hummus/garlic sauce are perfect for dipping and mixing in. The price is reasonable considering the quality/quantity of food.

Best Mediterranean food around Akron. Placed a very large order for my sister surprise early birthday celebration, and we all enjoyed it. Pricey but kosher and good.

Well, all during the pandemic my friend and I would order take out and eat it at home. I love this place! Everything that I've had is very good. One of my faves is the Fava Bean dip. Foul Madammas. I ordered hummus and I was not disappointed! And the baklava! Yikes. It is by far the best that I've ever had. And I like and know good baklava. It is sublime. So fresh and tender. You can tell that it's made fresh and not frozen. It is so good, just loaded with nuts and not cloyingly sweet. There is a certain whisper of maybe lavender? Or is it rose water? If you are a fan of baklava you must get to Damascus Grille and get some. Do not pass "Go", do not collect $200. Get yourself to the Grille ASAP. You can thank me later.

Amazing food and friendly staff. We tried about half the menu and it was all amazing. If you're unsure about what to get, split the sampler with a friend or two, there's enough to go around.
