This is by far my favorite kava bar. Everybody here is super friendly and welcoming. It's family owned and operated. Cursing is discouraged to be respective of others and the occasional child who is with a parent. Location is great. The kava is the best around. Definitely much stronger than other places. It's a great place to come to mingle and relax. There are plenty of different weekly events. Karaoke, trivia, pool, etc. Prices are good too. I highly recommend checking it out!

The kava was great to try and experience. The owners were very welcoming and experts at explaining the different effects the kava has. Will definitely be returning. Also, they even had a reggae concert outside!

I’ve been going here for almost 2 years now and this place has become my second home. This Polynesian family owned lounge places emphasis on kava and the culture surrounding it. I’ve been to over 60 kava bars and this is by far the best kava I’ve had. They have different varieties of kava to choose from too!

I've never felt so welcomed in a Kava Bar before. Bowl is what I miss most about my time in Orlando. Adam and his family are so knowledgeable, kind, and honestly just the perfect example of how amazing humans can be.

Been twice the past 3 months and both times it was closed within hours of operations - google showed it open. Wasted 20 minutes twice showing up here for no reason Response to owner: nothing wrong with closing early or taking the day off. Just make sure to update Google so people don't drive out and waste their time - this is all. Thanks for the reply

This was my first time ever trying kava and I’m so happy this is the first place I ended up at! The owner is very kind, very knowledgeable, and happy to talk about the traditions and history of kava, which in the end added to the overall experience. I’ll definitely be coming back:)

If you're looking for genuinely good KAVA drinks that are made with love from a family that truly knows kava from the islands, this is the place. The kava is some of the best I've had in any of the 50+ kava bars in Florida.

my friend and i were visiting from asheville/gainesville and stumbled into this beautiful space. we spoke with andrew (i HOPE that's his name, i could be mis-remembering) and he told us about the decor and cultural background a little. beyond just what he told us, you can immediately feel the intention poured into this space. the energy was so good and felt super community-driven and after speaking with him, you can really tell how much care went into creating the space as well. i love getting kava in asheville, but, i gotta say they have it figured out here!! we felt warmly welcome and the kava selection is broad and tasty. we tried the kava seltzer, a local kombucha, and a shell of the tongan kava. it was all superb! thank you for creating this space. it is so warm and welcoming and the cultural intention behind it is just the cherry on top. they not only offer kava but host community events, have pool, and a lovely array of seating in and outside. can't wait to come back, thank you for a space for us to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring "the big city" ;-) <3

This place is very cool & mellow. Tonight, there's all you can drink Kava for $25 & on other certain days. There's karaoke 🎤, a pool 🎱 table, comfortable seating, a tropical feel cool snacks behind the bar 🍸 😎 😀, friendly service & you're guaranteed to make friends before you leave.

Perfect atmosphere. This family owned small business has created a community gathering space that is a magnet for really cool and interesting people from all walks of life. Last time I was there, a dozen ethnisities and nationalities were represented in the room. The family humbly teaches about what kava means culturally and explains the reverence for the substance, how to and probably more importantly how not use words used surrounding it and where it fits into the home and community. If you are hungry to learn about other people, expand your world view and to find a place to express yourself look no further than The Kava Bowl Lounge. The MC does an amazing job bringing people to the mic on Tuesdays and Fridays. The owners and thier daughters are wildly talented professional proformers showcasing amazing vocal and dancing skill that lifts open mic to extreme highs. Great job all. I appreciate your dedication.

This place feels like a home away from home! Family run and operated, the Kava Bowl traditionally and respectfully serves the drink of their ancestors while offering a great environment for having fun (with karaoke on Friday, Open Mic nights on Tuesdays) and anytime with a game of pool or hookey. The nature of the drinks and those making them bring in a really cool vibe and open the space for new friendship and great conversation! Keep on spreading that Aloha love Kava family 💓

I don't know if they sell food. The kratom and kava are the best I have found in Orlando. They don't open til 6pm. And they do have a happy hour I can't remember the times. Great service friendly staff

Only have a 3 stars because I went in first time.. okay atmosphere but when she gave me my bill it was 45$ I charged my card and then gave her cash tip to find out that she charged me 52$ and some change.. smfh glad I don't live in Orlando, guess they desperately needed those extra dollars without my permission.

Great place and vibes. I came on a Friday night alone, and it was karaoke night, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. The owners were so nice and very informative of their products and creative drinks. I will definitely recommend a must come experience. They also have other theme nights as well have a billiard table . I will be coming back.

I loved the look and atmosphere of this place! It had a pool table and even a small stage for what looked like an open mic night. There is a one drink minimum but with the vibe your more than likely going to get more than one. I would highly recommend!

My best friend & I just happened to be driving by Kava Bowl when we noticed their event tonight. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason & we were meant to stop here. From the moment we entered Zion & her family were so welcoming & humble. It so beautiful to see how much pride you have for your culture & to be able to share that with everyone around you. I went for the first time on a Karaoke friday-- I am in AWE of this place. I entered a stranger, and left as a friend. Zion and Adam were INSANELY friendly and helpful. Kratom was amazing and delicious. Jon, who hosts the Karaoke, made me feel SO comfortable singing that I sang in front of people for the first time EVER. I can't wait to go back.

My friend never tried kava or kratom teas, and we got such a wonderful description of both. If I was from this area, I would come here every day !! This is my spot! Every time I go with my friends I feel like I'm on on the show "friends" but instead of coffee it's Kava lol! The staff is amazing, super kind and they love sharing their knowledge about their culture and I personally love learning all about it. It's a beautiful culture with beautiful people.
