Love this place! Please try this wine! Not to sweet and so fresh (gewürztraminer)

Good wine and views but they give plastic cups for your nice bottle of wine…. Apparently people break glasses a lot. Not a fan of drinking my high end wine out of a cheap plastic cup

Wonderful experience!! The property was beautiful, tons of picnic style seating around the pond. The wines were fantastic and I really loved the store filled with goodies. Will be back!

Has great service, plenty of options to choose from, and has a nice pond in the back with plenty of fish you can feed and plenty of seating.

Absolutely some of the worst treatment I’ve ever received. First I’d like to start with the good, there was a woman working the register who was incredibly sweet, kind and helpful. She was an older woman but so kind. When I got I Line to purchase my item there was a younger girl with star pimple patches on her face and she was so rude. I was standing at her register and she just stared at me for like 2 minutes after I place my items on the counter I finally asked if she was open and she said mmmmhmmm I then had to push them closer to her and say I would like to buy these items. She spoke no words other than do you want a receipt. After that we went to purchase wine the couple in front of us were treated with kindness and were offered samples of wines they were unsure about. When. It was our turn the man was very short and rude. I asked about their blush wine and he said it’s a blush no offer to let us sample anything. Then i asked for a sample and he seemed annoyed. I decided to purchase the bottle he said oh grab it it’s behind you. Keep in mind the couple in front if us purchase a bottle and he walked around the counter and got the bottle for them. He was not helpful at all and rude felt like he just wanted us to leave. Never going back!

A great place to visit, the landscape in the month of July is beautiful, the weather is very hot but acceptable. Minutes after visiting this place it rained for several times. It has a very good store, with a wide variety of products that are worth trying. This non-alcoholic cider is very good, its very refreshing peach and apple flavor is appreciated. The store also sells wines, dressings, local sweets, desserts. The place has live music and couples can be seen drinking their wines while appreciating the Beautiful landscape. We enjoyed it very much, it was more of a family trip, not a romantic one, but I think it is a very good place to go with your partner or family. Highly recommended.

There is a large selection of homemade wine and jam here. You can also buy cheese and crackers to pair with the wine. There is a small lake on the property where you can sit and enjoy live music. The trees near the lake provided shade from the sun and heat. We really liked the taste of the wine. I especially recommend trying the 'Brazos' wine with a blackberry flavor (if you like sweet wine). I love sweet wines, so I really enjoyed the 'Brazos' wine. You can also buy souvenirs here: stickers, mugs, various jars, jams... The prices aren't high. We paid about $25 for a bottle of wine. There were no issues with parking, as we immediately found a spot right by the entrance. I will recommend this place to everyone and definitely return someday.

Should be called Das Nein Peach Haus because peaches are barely present. We saw fake plastic peaches on a few counters and some portions of peach cobbler you could order. That's it 🤷‍♂️ I'm giving it two star because it is a beautiful, well-kept grounds, but seriously, where's the peaches? Not here!

It's a very interesting place with a lot of possible activities. Very well maintained outside with rarities from old times among flowers and trees. There's bunch of delicious crafters' sauces and jams inside the main building of moderate prices as well as some wood carved items and more. Peach cider was very refreshing in this heat. Apart, they have a distillery (we haven't tried their spirits, didn't have time). There's a pond behind with clear water and a lot if fish inside, with wooden benches around for chilling with a glass of wine. There's also a Thai food place if you're really hungry (haven't checked it as well), don't know if it's somehow related to Das Peach House, but it's still nice that it's there nearby.

Great place to stop on your way to Fredericksburg. You will enjoy their selection of fruit spreads and sauces. The pond on the backyard is a must do with some wine.

So glad we passed by Das Peach Haus! Beautiful park-like location with country store of canned goods, peach cider, and wines. Peach cobbler a la mode is a must. There is seating behind with a stage for live music, a beautiful heart-shaped pond, and outdoor games. Next door is a distillery and Thai food truck. Perfect for the whole family. We enjoyed ourselves.

Amazing place, relaxing ambiance and fabulous peach and local fruit inspired snacks and wine! This is a must visit place if you’re in town. Cute man made lake out back with fish and turtles. Very kid friendly. They have live music on weekends and also host cooking classes.

Such an awesome place. Visited the store and bought plenty of products. Love most of their items for cooking amazing meals. Also went next door to Dietz distillery and got some drinks, sat out on deck by pond and fed the fishes and turtles. Definitely coming back.

Staff was friendly. The pull pork sandwich, OH MY GAWD!! The vision of "me" being unlady like, because I so wanted to lick every single finger. Excuse me, the view is absolutely beautiful, the breeze and shade of the trees make a peaceful detour for readers or nappers. Also, taste the Pinot Grigio, Sweet Sangria or the Peach wine.

A peaceful place around a beautiful lake. The store people are always very nice and helpful. Wine, little bites and the sauces/fruit jams are awesome!! A place where I always go when in Fredericksburg.

We were in the Fredericksburg area visiting winery's and decided to stop in this one. This one is unique, and that is because this is a general store along with a bar/winery area off to the side, inside the same-store area. There was a gentleman there behind the bar / counter. Basically, they sell little plastic shot glasses of wine. The 5 shot glasses will run you $20. After you've dispensed and tested your wines, you can probably determine which bottle you want to take with you or drink on the property. If you decide you drink it there, get a chilled bottle out of the chiller, pay for it, let them know how many glasses you want and go find a place by the lake and enjoy your bottle(s). The 7 of us just enjoy the peaceful area, conversation, and wine sitting by the man-made lake. It was an overcast afternoon, but the temperatures were cool and refreshing, which made it really nice to sit there and enjoy the 2 bottles of wine. After this, we decided to go into Fredericksburg and dine. I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did.

I had rented the tiny house on the property and informed Elsa that I would be proposing. They made a once in a lifetime experience every little detail everything went so perfect it was so AMAZING!!!!!! My fiancé and I will be going every year from hear on out thank you so much Elsa and to the staff for making our proposal so perfect!

The Spanish speaking employees are wonderful, but as soon as I was introduced to their blonde curly haired boss, he was a complete jerk! I will never stop there again! Bad bad bad! 👎

Amazing property! A must stop for sure. But be warned, if you go for sundowners and weekends it will be very busy. We went on a Monday morning and it was tranquil.

Stop here if you are in Fredericksburg! If you like sweet wine the peach wine is a must try. My family & I tasted nearly all of the sauces/dips they had available and were so impressed. Our favorites were the peach salsa and bruschetta. They have a nice outdoor spot to hang out.

Great place to have some fun! It includes a shop (selling local jams, sauces, and wines), wine testing, cooking classes, and a very nice porch next to a little pond. You can try a bunch of sauces and jams. All wines we tried are awesome! We finished with about 20 bottles of wines. I'll definitely come back and spend an eve next to the with a glass of wine.

What a neat place! They have great sauces and great wine. The pond in the back is gorgeous. Definitely take a moment to enjoy one of the seating areas around the pond. Looks like a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and catch the sunset!

Says that they support nurses at the register. I did not have my badge since it’s bulky and I keep it in my car at home, but I showed my Texas board of nursing license and she said no. So much for supporting nurses. We don’t have a small card to carry about like those in the military.

This place is great. Peach jams and Peach honey are awesome. Brought some home. Pond and chairs in the back and very laid back. Definitely worth stopping at.

The peach cobbler is a must-try. They have variety sauces to try with different types of cheese. I loved the Raspberry Chipotle sauce. Liked the choices of wine as well. A scenic place to have a good time with friends and family.

Easily one of my favorite places in Fredericksburg! I love the outdoor space with the pond in the back. It’s beautiful, serene, and great for the whole family. They have a variety of mainly fruit wines to sip on. I’m not even a sweet wine drinker, but I love the Hill Country Peach. A must try!!

The worse peach cobbler we ever tasted. Had no flavor and the portion was small for the price.

This is one of the most beautiful places in Fredericksburg. You gotta see it. Our family just goes here to feel alive and grateful. The pond, the beautiful trees. The orchard views. It's something special.

Visited Das Peach Haus with a couple of girlfriends and we had a FANTASTIC experience. We tried a couple of different wines but we all loved the Hill Country Peach wine. The ambience was relaxing and we could've stayed here all evening (they close at 6pm on Saturdays). The decor, inside and outside, was a festive fall and provided plenty of photo opportunities. On my way out of the store, I came across pralines that resembled the ones that my grandmother used to make when I was a kid; hoping to be filled with nostalgia, I bought four. I was NOT disappointed. One bite into the praline and I was transported to Granny's kitchen. Granny's been gone for almost 17 years now and I never thought I'd find a praline that came close to hers, but I did here. Thank you Das Peach Haus for both of these experiences. My only regrets are not having brought wine to bring home with me (can't bring them through TSA) and not having bought more pralines!

If the wine tasting option was active, I’d probably give this place 5 stars. But we “had” to do a glass (actually a bottle) even though we got a couple of splashes to test. The jellies, sauces, and jams are definitely on the 5 star end and samplers were available for many of them. We had a $170 visit…. So we obviously liked some things!

Disappointing Customer Service Experience I recently visited Das Peach Haus in Fredericksburg with my family, hoping for a pleasant experience as we have been coming here for the past three years. Regrettably, the ongoing issue of rude and unprofessional service from the staff has left me with no choice but to share my disappointment. Upon arrival, we happily explored the premises, sampling the jams and even purchasing a bottle. However, while ordering food, I witnessed an unpleasant encounter when a lady asked another staff member about a particular product. The response she received was a loud and unprofessional "NOPE!" This behavior, displayed in front of customers, left a negative impression that overshadowed my appreciation for the lady who served me. The unpleasant experiences didn't stop there. The cashier, too, fell short in terms of customer service. Not only did they show no sign of a smile or welcoming demeanor, but their tone was also consistently rude. A warm and friendly atmosphere is vital in ensuring customers feel valued and willing to return, which unfortunately, was sorely lacking during my visit. Furthermore, a member of my family was interested in purchasing a bottle of wine and was hoping to taste a few varieties before making a decision. However, the gentleman conducting the wine tasting only offered a sample to me, completely ignoring the fact that my family was present and eager to make a purchase. Instead of assisting and providing helpful recommendations, he came across as condescending when answering questions about different wines. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and simply reinforces the disappointing pattern of rude service I have experienced at Das Peach Haus over the years. While the outdoor scenery remains appealing, it is not enough to outweigh the consistently poor service from the staff. Fredericksburg offers other scenic places to visit with friendly and attentive staff, making it difficult for me to justify returning to Das Peach Haus in the future. I sincerely hope that Das Peach Haus management addresses the issues of unprofessionalism and lackluster customer service, as I believe they have the potential to provide an exceptional experience that matches their beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful setting, well stocked store of goodies! Tasting was not available during our stop which was disappointing. Bought a bottle of peach wine which was okay. I’ve had better. Definitely worth a stop!

Disappointed in the "farm to table" cooking experience. Outside of using a few of their own pre-made products which are very tasty in sauces this class was definitely more H.E.B to table. Very sad given all of the local farms around the area & the expectation of farm to table. The class itself was essentially a cooking demo. Only 5 of 10 people ended up having the chance of minimally "prepping" some items which were mostly baked. Even the main pork dish was precooked and no demo even attempted on seasoning, searing technique etc. I understand limitations since it's a group class but you'd expect maybe 1 piece of pork tenderloin to be shown as an example. Great for those who want to "watch" or be social while watching their food be made. Generous pours of wine. Pretty view and very nice instructors. Items prepped/cooked by class takers: Biscuit toping - From scratch Salad dressing - Their premade sauce + Oil Cooked green beans & onions - Precut by instructors Layering of Gallete dish - Premade dough, precut tomatoes & sauces. Dinner was yummy but many items were swapped out last minute hence H.E.B to table.

Beautiful spot! The wine was delicious. I have the pink moscato. The variety of jams and sauces is great, and the also had some out to taste. In love with this place. Can’t wait to go back!

A little more child friendly than I expected but amazing view and good wine

Das peach haus was a cute place to sit and enjoy a nice glass of wine in peaceful surroundings. It had a small lake surrounded with chairs ro enjoy the outdoors with accessible corn hole game. We loved the culinary eatery area and some of the product sample testing and can't forget the peach cobbler . Unfortunately due to drought this year the town did not have peaches but we still recommend the area. We will be visiting again in later fall for it being to hot early September.

Such a nice store with jams, jellies, canned peaches, oils, kitchen tools etc! You can do a wine tasting, self serve, for $25/6 drinks I believe. We’ll do that next time we visit! They also have a beautiful backyard with a pond that has many fish and turtles. You can buy about a half cup of fish food for $1 and it was so fun to feed them all. Definitely want to visit when it’s cooler.

Loved this adorable shop. The older couple running it were quite sweet.. Tons of nice food products. Bought some jams and peach cider, which was delicious. My kiddo loved feeding the fish out back and walking around the property. Awesome little oasis on a hot afternoon. We will definitely be back!

A fun little spot with a general store and wine tasting! The wine tasting is $20 each and you get 5 little cups. They give you a card and you use the self serve machine to choose your 5 wines. My friends got the wine tasting while I got a glass of the hill country peach, which was delicious. There’s limited seating inside but lots of seating outside by the small pond. There was also live music outdoors. Overall, an enjoyable relaxing experience!

What a fun place! We got a bunch of different peach items. We loved that they had samples before you made a purchase. The pond was a little gem and a relaxing place to just sit and drink some peach cider and have a lemon bar.

Place is beautiful, but the service sucks. Walked in and wasn’t greeted for about 5 minutes, finally I asked to try a few wines as I was not sure what bottle to purchase. Felt like the guy at the bar judged us and as I asked for a second sample he said “I can’t be offering you any more, I’m going to have to start charging you”. Meanwhile others around us are getting multiple samples without him saying a word. Anyways, bought a bottle, wasn’t great in the end, will not be giving this place a 2nd chance.

Awsome relaxing place to have some wine!

I just enjoyed a delightful and delicious cooking class at Das Peach Haus. The chef taught us how to prepare Tapas in a well equipped kitchen classroom. The relaxed pace of the class allowed us plenty of time to browse in the store or watch the sunset out by the pond. I’m so glad i signed up for the class.

Really nice back patio, lovely little lake. We enjoyed the live music and cold white wine. They’re family and dog friendly. Give it a check.

Do not come here if you are Hispanic or do not have “Texas ID”. The young man at the bar was rude as soon as me and my sister walked in. He didn’t even acknowledge us. He then proceeded to rudely Interrupt our conversation to tell us the wine we were thinking about getting was not available. He was not kind about it. Then when we were ready to order a bottle of wine, He questioned our identification. I have a Texas ID and he kept staring at my picture and me back and forth and turned it all around and inspected it as if he thought it was fake. My sister had her Consulate identification that is US government issued and he said sarcastically “interesting”. And continued to ask her if she didn’t have a Texas or Government issued ID. Which she did. White young man acting this way with us- two young Hispanic women. All We wanted to have a nice day out with our family and ended up feeling discriminated.

Stopped by to have a few snacks and taste some wine. Sat by the pond and had a small picnic. This was an absolutely beautiful place to relax and I loved every moment of it. I would love to come back again.

Not the place for wine tasting unless you like tasting wine out of a plastic jello cup outdoors in the TX heat. Many of the other wineries have air-conditioned space for wine tasting. Additionally, using plastic jello cups does not allow you to swirl and test the aroma of the wine. I would recommend trying another place for wine tasting. On the plus side, they have a wide variety of sauces to sample and choose.

The peach stand is definitely first come first serve. I arrived at 1300 and the selection was rough. The main building was nice. Plenty of product but no actual peaches for sale. The parking at the main building is pretty tight as well.

This is a great place to hang out. The wine is Fabulous and the Jalapeno Peach jam is a must buy!

I love visiting Das Peach Haus. This place has everything you need when it comes to peaches. The store is super clean and the staff is super friendly. I always visit here when I am in town.

They have a very cute man made lake in the back. You can feed the fish and turtles. So many cute turtles. They sell fish food inside of their store. You can buy baked goods, small sandwich and drinks. They have several samples of peach products.

I went here this past weekend with friends and honestly started out having a great time. Beautiful place with tasty wine, but this 1 star goes to show how a horrible person can ruin everything. Male bartender was incredibly rude to both me and one of my friends (we weren’t even in there at the same time so I know it wasn’t because of one another that we had bad experiences). Absolutely horrible!! Did not expect to go there to be treated badly or feel embarrassed for asking a clarifying question. Edit: The owner has been very gracious in reaching out to get a better understanding of the situation. I really appreciate how responsive and apologetic he was and wanting to make things better.

This is Great place to relax. Pond is so beautiful also reflection of trees 🌲 in Pond looks awesome 🤩. You can also enjoy the wine tasting here. I love this place so much. Beautiful shop with beautiful location and view. They also have wooden chairs 🪑 you can seat 💺 and enjoy the pond with great view.

Beautiful atmosphere. Friendly staff. Kid and pet friendly. Pond on sight had plenty of seating. Fire pits and heaters for cooler weather. Toss the bags with cornhole or bring a Frisbee or soccer ball- very spacious. Plenty of wine options and some sweet treats available. Multiple jelly and sauce options for purchase inside. Bluebonnet jelly? What?! Relaxing way to spend a couple hours with a glass of wine and great company.
