Just chilling now at 'Flying Dolly’s' (same owner). The service staff were pleasant. They serve ice cream as well as 'sugar-free' snowballs or snoballs. It's at a business red light intersection in front of Cane’s, and parking is tight. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas. I ordered the sugar-free cherry snoball with condensed milk, then manually churned it with a spoon for an ice cream-style texture. The ice is not shaved finely, but it works. Excellent place for homemade ice cream. Many creative flavors. I LOVE their honeycomb ice cream!!! It's great to pair with their coffee ice cream. 😁 Great service! They have a small indoor seating area and a large outdoor seating area. They have awesome snoballs too!

Flying Dolly's has wonderful snowballs. The ice is very fine. The syrup is thick (not watered down). They have various options for toppings. They also have ice cream which is what my husband usually orders. He said the ice cream is very good.

Inside the Air conditioning was great & the ice cream & snowballs were delicious. Clean restrooms too ! We will definitely return often this summer, the outside table area was spacious… it was a lot of fun.

Normally this place is a solid 5* but just came here with my kids and the rudeness on the cashier (blonde girl) was untold. She had this attitude that made my youngest feel super uncomfortable just because she took a moment to order. Her face said it all that she was annoyed at the world. Don't mess with kids like that. This cashier absolutely shouldn't be in customer service.

My snowball was all pieces of ice chunks not snow. Very disappointing since I don’t like to crunch my snowball. Used to be the best snowball place but has fallen off lately.

It's a pretty good Snowball spot. It might be one of the few places I've been to that is staffed with young high schoolers,but actually give good service. I don't know if the self ordering screen was working or if we did something wrong,but placing the order went smoothly. It was after school so it was a mad house in there,but the staff handled the rush fine. It was a pretty good snowball and the fact that they had condensed milk was awesome. Even some places in the city don't have condensed milk so this was the only snoball addition I needed. Also Im not a fan of ice cream sandwiches,but whatever they're doing over here works. Id make a stop here again if Im in the area. Parking is kinda crazy when they're packed so be prepared to be flexible

I love snowballs and order about 5 large a week for the last 5 yrs and freeze. I’ve had snowballs from everywhere and Dolly’s has the best anywhere ( N or S shore ,sugar free chocolate and sugar free coconut cream . They staff is great. Always smiling , polite and courteous regardless of how busy they are. These young adults hustle with a wonderful work ethos! Such an excellent snoball and great service.

Very popular place. We go here almost every time we are in the area. The place is not very large but moves a lot of good cold dessert quickly. There is plenty of parking area nearby. The staff is pleasant, courteous and efficent. Although it appeared busy we has out deserts in less than 10 minutes for 6 of us. There is an large variety of flavors and combinations. Portions are generous. You'll be back for more. Remember this: "brain freeze is real!"

I can’t say enough good things about the employees and the products! I have a favorite flavor snowball that they were going to discontinue as a regular flavor. They decided to keep it in stock because I and one other patron always get it! That’s going above and beyond for two regular customers. It is rare for businesses to show such consideration for customers these days. Thank you!

I recently visited this snowball place on a sunny Friday afternoon to surprise my son and daughter with some blueberry snowcones. Although I didn't order one for myself, it was clear that this place was immensely popular, given the bustling crowd that had gathered here. What impressed me the most was the friendly staff. Despite the busy atmosphere, the employees were patient and attentive, ensuring that each customer received their order with a smile.

Since I’ve moved away from New Orleans I always like to get a snowball when I go game to visit. While visiting family on the north shore my sister recommended Just chillin’ It was perfect! The nectar snowball was delicious

High-priced, service is terrible. If you're tak8ngnoutnthe prep each item at a time so the first one melts by the time you need to leave. The kids working there don't offer trays for carryout service. And then they don't mark what they are out of, so inordered 4 items, they were out of all 4, I had to redo my entire order.

I just bought a sugar free pineapple snowball. Not very good. Tastes like sweet water with a dash of lime flavor. No hint of pineapple. Lots of bight yellow food coloring - but no flavor. I don't expect a lot from sugar free, but this was an especially poor specimen. Why call it pineapple if it doesn't taste at all like pineapple?

Strawberry fields: strawberry flavor stuffed with sweet cream ice cream It's such a basic choice, yet so good! I've tried other flavors for both the snowball and ice cream, and they were also good but that one is still my favorite there. It's nice that they offer a "flat top" option, so it's easier to eat without the mess. The only problem is, I wish their ice was more soft instead of crunchy with thin ice, not fully grinded. Card and cash accepted.

For the size of snow ball I got there was a good bit of syrup on and in it. It could have have more cream I ordered. I paid for more in a cup.

First let me say that I visit this snowball stand multiple times per week & i always come in the evenings. Today I arrived at 6:40 and I noticed that the line was much longer than usual. I decided to sit in my car for a few minutes to see if the line would decrease before ordering. Once the line got a little shorter i decided to walk over and begin waiting to place my order. I was greeted by an employee that was very rude and stated they would not be taking any more orders. I explained to her that it was not yet 7:00 and that i always get my snowballs at this time. She said there was nothing she could do. Upon walking back to my car I over heard the employee speaking about me with the other customers in line and laughing, when i looked back at her she shrugged her shoulders to reiterate that she did not care. She was very inconsiderate and left a bad taste in my mouth. This is my FAVORITE snowball stand and i’ve been coming here since they first opened! they have the best snowballs in town & this is the first time i have experienced such rude customer service!

BAD SERVICE. We were the only customers and the Blonde girl answering the window was rude the entire time and made us feel rushed and when my friend went up there a second time to ask a question her and her coworkers stared at my friend through the window for a few minutes before rudely asking her what she wanted. I get they’re teenagers but if they think they can work later in and act like that then good luck to them!

I had the Causeway Crunch. Absolutely delicious. My friend had a stuffed snowball. She loved it too. Inside and outside seating. Staff was very friendly.

First time visiting. Went with family who had been there before. My son ordered the four scoops. All flavors were good. Had plenty of flavors to choose from.

I have been in line for 11 minutes. There is no one in front of me. Out of all 5 people working here not ONE even looked up to acknowledge myself or my daughter. When I asked when the owner would be available the rude employee making the snowballs rudely said “ I don’t know”, and when I said no one even acknowledged us yet she said “We are really busy”!! How absolutely rude. A male employee finally told me the owner Jeff would be available this evening. This established will never get a penny of my money or my business ever again. Here’s a tip for your extremely rude employees:DON’T IGNORE YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! We were in line ten minutes before they started helping the long line of outside customers.

We hope their natural flavors will finally be restocked but it isn't their fault. The ice is smooth and they syrup is always the exact right amount. The ice cream is out of this world. Homemade amazing goodness. I don't typically like ice cream but usually end up getting some. My kids ALWATYS get the ice cream.

The snowballs are wonderful. The ice cream is homemade and very creamy. The owner and the staff are friendly. We tried the Key Lime Ice cream today and it was so refreshing. I always get their chocolate snowball. It is a must have for me.

I have spent a lot of time search for ice cream that contained the most amount of marshmallow ice cream. Then I stumbled upon just marshmallow ice cream!! My wife isn't so thrilled that there isn't a straight banana or banana peanut butter flavor!! The cake batter could use some cake pieces. 🤷

When I'm on the Northshore, this is hands down my number one place to grab a nice cold snowball. The ice they have is so soft, plenty of flavors to choose from and even nake stuffed snowballs. (IMO, their homemade "sweet cream" is the best!!) highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice snowball with this summer beat we have in La. And a bonus to this place is, even if it's raining, you can still get a snowball since they have an inside area where you can order instead of just ordering from the outside window.

They do a great job. Tons of flavors. Ice is proper consistency (sharp blades on sno-wizard). Flat top option is available. Stuffed w/ homemade ice cream also a option. Best in the Covington Mandeville area.I would have added a photo but I already ate it.

I like this place but there needs to be an actual adult on duty. These kids are doing the best they can…but they’re kids. Someone needs to manage…someone who is not 16.

This will forever be one our favorite sweet stops! We drive all the way from Ponchatoula once a month just to have ice cream or a snowball from Just Chillin. The staff is always so friendly and fast and the seating area is kept very clean. My favorite ice cream flavor is the cookie butter! It's a vanilla flavored ice cream with biscoff cookie chunks that melt in your mouth! If you're hesitant on a flavor you can always ask for a sample flavor. They also sell the ice cream in pints to go! Whatever you decide on— you're sure to love it.
