This place is a great little spot with outdoor seating. We were able to bring the dog, order really reasonably priced food and get him a pup cup. Definitely a cool spot to check out if you are ever in the area.

A small place with outdoor seating, they have a large variety of ice cream, and their employees are very friendly. You get a lot of ice cream for the price. Their is a stream that runs behind the place, and a real caboose is displayed.

You get your $ worth. We went to Florida & a large ice cream there is more like a small/ medium

I would have given this place 5 stars all around if this fast food restaurant/ice cream place had a bathroom open to the public. It's ridiculous to expect people to eat there and not provide a public restroom! I drive 30 minutes to get there, if I'm ordering food and a drink, and ice cream for dessert, I may need to use a bathroom before I drive 30 minutes back home! And what about the people that have kids? 🤔

Locally owned. Everything is really good. Lots of picnic tables to eat at.

Such a cool spot! We wanted to get ice cream on our vacation in the Poconos and found this place close by. The ice cream is so good and their prices are great. I absolutely love the caboose train car they have. So awesome!

What a great place to stop for something really delicious and Carl is a wonderful host! We had Reuben paninis and coffee, both were amazing! Not something we usually have for breakfast, but well worth forsaking the typical eggs. Thankful for gluten free options!

Just went here for the first time & I think it’ll be my new go to on a hot day. Unlike most places they have food & ice cream! Love the old timey feel with the old railroad signs and caboose! Staff & owner are super friendly as well!

Delicious ice cream with fast service. We love to visit when we're in town. They also have later hours than a competitor we used to visit, which is very convenient for late snackers. 2 qts made it back to NY in our cooler. Definitely recommend!

Cute place, seems like new staff. Food was slow to come out and just fast food quality. Corn nuggets were the best thing we tried here. Apparently ice cream is the bigger seller here as it is Hersheys ice cream. Cute area to sit and take some pictures.

I was looking for somewhere that served Hershey’s ice cream so I could get my daughter’s favorite ice cream to surprise her for her birthday. I e-mailed Caboose to ask if it was possible to order a 3 gallon tub of it as that is the only size the flavor she likes comes in. They got right back to me and said that it would be no problem. There was a miscommunication on my part about when I needed it and they called Hershey’s and had it added to their order last minute so I would have it on the day I wanted it. When I went to pick it up, the girls were very friendly and efficient in getting it for me. I’m not a regular customer as I live about half an hour away but I will definitely make a point of stopping there the next time I’m in the area. Great customer service!

The Caboose is a local favorite. They have soft serve and hard ice cream, Italian ice, and dairy free ice cream. They also use home baked items such as cinnamon buns and cookies in a few of their Sundae and ice cream sandwiches. They have hamburgers, hotdogs, cheese steaks, chicken wings, fries and other food items if you're looking for a fast lunch or dinner. There is picnic tables at the site. And not to forget the restored train caboose on the property as well. Definitely recommend. We've been going to this place through 3 owner changes over 45 years and it's still a great place to go to!

Very nice small ice cream stand with great service. Predominantly Burgers, dogs, chicken fingers, and a large line of Hershey ice cream to choose from. Outdoor picnic tables to sit and eat your goodies. The Cinnamon Bun Sundae is worth driving 3 hours to enjoy, you must try it.

Nice little place to eat outside almost in the woods. The ice cream is good and good price. The food is a little pricey and there is no bathroom.

The ice cream sandwich is as big as a grown man's head

Pleasant and accurate service, fair prices and reasonable prices, quality product. Clean atmosphere and well maintained property. Busy with locals that were experienced with the menu, clearly a place people come back again and again too. I suspect I will be one of those who returns when in the area.

Have been here multiple times since I was a child. Yesterday was a bit disappointed when I was given dairy ice cream when I ordered vegan. After taking a few kicks I realized that it tasted off and too creamy. Went to window and the employee kindly replaced my ordered and agreed the sign was very confusing. Other than that it is a nice spot to stop for a bite. Pina smoothie is ☆.

Worst possible experience I ever had ordering food! I sat there made a $50 order and she screwed up my order and literally said she would bring out the mistake that she made and I'm waiting there 20 minutes on the bench and never brought it out! Worst service ever had the girls in there are clueless!

The service is excellent, the food was brought to us at our table and the caboose rail car makes for a nice Pennsylvania railroad experience even if you are miles from any real rail line. But it’s nice to see Pennsylvania’s rich railroad history preserved in a small way. The hot dogs are local and obviously a blend of pork, beef and possibly poultry without casings. So there isn’t the snap or nice bite that I like. The Texas cheese fries are flavorful but not much more than fries with Maas produced chili and cheese wiz. The “footlong” is only about 8 inches, which is disappointing. I would have given them three stars but gave them the benefit of the doubt because of the fast friendly service. The ice cream is served in extraordinary amounts. A soft serve medium is enough for two people. The large is monstrously large.

We really enjoyed our visit. We got a cheeseburger, mozz sticks, waffle fries, a corn dog, and a banana shake. The food was good, especially for the price and the banana shake was really good. I got I because multiple people had mentioned it in previous reviews and it was super delicious. It had chunks of real banana and tasted great. Would definitely make the trip here again.
