Pretty much…. if you buy some Cayenne pepper and a loaf of plain white bread, you have Dave’s Hot Chicken at your house!! I am not quite sure what the hubbub is regarding this place. The chicken was not full of spiciness or crispiness. And whats with the “plain piece of white bread? 🤔

Love the food it was hot and delicious

The staff were so composed and orderly, perfectly preparing me for what was a delightfully fresh and crisp plate of fried food. The walls had enough color on them to last me a lifetime. The staffs' teeshirts read "Get rich or die fryin'" on the backs—a musical reference I was happy to be in the know about. I ate all the food at once.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere and the chicken is hands down the best. The chicken is tremendously flavored and worth every penny!!!!!!!

Best chicken sandwich and relatively affordable.

First time here. Got the 2 pice meal with a side of kale slaw. Chicken is tender but underwhelming in flavor. Same with kale salad. Also overpriced. I probably won’t return. Good for college students.

Really awesome staff. Food was also great; milkshake was a bit pricey, but tasty. The vibes/ambiance was a bonus. Will definitely return!

I almost died eating the reaper nuggets.

Mediocre Nashville hot chicken. Chicken was dry, and medium didnt even have a trace of spicyness, guess the breading was just dyed red? If you're ever in St Louis try Chucks Hot Chicken, or I imagine theres probably an even better Nashville hot chicken place in Nashville somewhere idk. Was decent enough to not be bad, but might as well have gone to popeyes or something spending 21$ for an average fried chicken meal...

Waited at the counter (pick-up) area for a good 10 minutes before Norma? (I believe that is what her nametag said) came to assist me. There was a lot going on. Customers in line, the other employee attempting to re-fill the frosty station. Norma finally greeted me I told her my name, she gave me my order and I went on my way. I get to work and am livid! My lunch is over and the order is WRONG! I have attached the pictures. Where is the cheese on my chicken and fries that I paid for?!! Please also see the receipt!! Dry chicken and even dry French fries! $22 with tip, for this?!. Should have went to jersey mikes like I intended. Not sure what’s going on during lunch hours?!?! Slow down and pay attention!

The cauliflower slider was very overcooked and slimy. It's supposed to be firm and have texture to it, but it was mushy.

Food is amazing and the sauce jus makes everything ten times better

Not impressed with my chicken sliders, especially for the cost. I was hoping for a little bigger, better tasting sandwich. The atmosphere and decor were okay, nothing special. The staff were friendly. Won't be in a rush to go back.

I town because wife is in hospital. Never heard of Dave's before. I've eaten there 4 times in 9 days. Best chicken I've ever had. Update, in Albany 17 days had Dave's chicken 9 times. Super outstanding 🥰 glad to be home but I miss you Dave 😭

Chicken very expensive but so good

My experience here has been the best dining of my life. The excelent service provided by Izzy and Alex was worth the 2 hour drive from New Jersey. I had heard good things about this Dave’s Hot Chicken from my fellow chicken fanatics and knew I had to try. I know after I arrive back home in a few hours I will not stop thinking about the high quality food and service.

Food was great and everyone was super nice.

For a fast food place, this is definitely a five star place! First time trying Dave's Hot Chicken and now anytime we go travel I'll make sure to stop at one. The chicken was very crispy. You pick your spice level and I went with mild and it was a good mild-not too spicy but definitely flavorful. On the pricier side at $13, doesn't come with any sides, other than fries and also two slices of bread. Definitely worth it!

The food is alright, but it's expensive. Additionally, some of their staff members have an attitude. If you hate your job, go find another one or show more respect to your customers who pay $40 for two to go meals

We ordered our first to-go order and we were super happy with the ease of ordering and even better…the food was delicious. The chicken and the fries were crispy and warm when we got it home (15 min drive). Will order again.

I love Dave’s hot chicken. I’ll start with my only complaint though. The place is not clean. Most of the tables are dirty. No one is actively cleaning the tables. Anyways other than that the food is good. My personal favorite are the fries. They taste better than anywhere else.

Great service, the line was long but it moved at a rapid pace. And the food was really good. Definelty recommend trying their honey drizzle on the chicken it was delicious.

There are places that give much better chicken for half the price. This place is so overpriced it’s actually insane.

dave’s hot chicken is amazing. the service was bomb and all of the food was fresh and really hot! the coke was crisp to the touch and refreshing!!

I gotta say, I was impressed. If you like spicy chicken, this is the place! The sliders were great! The chicken quality was excellent; crisp, juicy and spicy! The spice options are ranged at any level you can handle! From 'No Spice,' all the way up to 'Reaper.' The sliders come with delicious pickles (and they give you extra on the side!), but their mayo based sauce is where its at. I can eat that stuff plain. I was dipping my crinkle cut fries in them which had seasoning of their own! I don't know if it was on accident but I tasted a little paprika on some of the fries, they were delicious! So much flavor everywhere! They were a little short staffed when I got there but I still got my food quickly. The man behind the counter apologized up front and stated, "He was running around like a chicken with his head cut off." Yep.... From a man in a chicken shack. :D

It’s one of those situations where your mood changes because of the cashier. Order Dave’s #3 and I don’t drink soda and when asked for a cup for tap water the cashier charged $2.99.
