Worst management ever! Ordered a steak medium. The middle was still raw! Sent it back and it came back burnt and had a weird flavor to it. Sent it back again and they butterflied it. Which was fine but when I bit into it, it was the worst thing I have ever tasted. I told them not to even bother bringing me another one. They took off 8 dollars. The veggies were a little undercooked. I had to send the steak back that many times and they take off only the steak! I asked to speak to the manager and she said they would only take off the steak and blame it on the owner. It's not like I was looking for a free meal, my party spent about $60 without my bill and their food wasn't that good either! Ehat kind of service is that?Horrible! The poor waitress....told me the manager was the owner. Wow! Never will I eat there again. Not the Christmas eve dinner I was hoping for! It was at 5 oclock and they were no where near busy!

The goulash soup is amazing! They have the greatest steaks and shrimp and a long list of German foods. Dont forget to try the augratin potatoes! Yummy! A top knotch restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere..Customer service is #1.

I've driven by this place for years and never gave it a second thought, probably like most of Cape Coral. That was a big mistake on my part. The first thing I'd recommend is that they change the name to something other than Steak House as they have a very broad selection on the menu. We had four in our party, the order consisted of veal parmigiana, chicken parmigiana and two steaks. The parms were to die for, portions were huge we split them up so each could have both veal and chicken. Each had a wonderful unique flavor where you could really taste the meat. We told the server that there should be an option of having both veal and chicken as an order as it was just that good. Another reviewer commented that the steaks weren't seasoned and I would agree with that. But you don't need to season the hell out of a steak, turning it into a salt lick, when you have a good cut of meat to start with and cook it properly. Both steaks were cooked right and tasted great. Our dinner for four ended up being a four plate sharing experience as the food was just that good. Service wasn't slow but it wasn't fast either. Our server, seemed to be one of the owners or a manager, said they cut and cook to order so everything is fresh and from what I tasted, I believe it.

Three for dinner.no alcohol just soft drinks.made mistake being friendly with no smiling wait staff.1.00 extra for bread. Not our first visit,but our last visit for sure.over done steak,slow service,rude hostess.we liked the owner and waitress prior visits,can't understand changes .

This was my husband's and my first time visiting, but we will definitely be visiting again! We ordered the escargot (wonderful!), the surf and turf and the porterhouse, and we couldn't have been more happy with them. The steaks were cooked perfectly; you could just about cut them with your fork, they were so tender, and they tasted wonderful! The lobster was amazing, even without the lemon (I didn't see it until I was almost done-oops! but I didn't miss a thing!) and my husband literally almost picked the bone clean on his porterhouse, it was so tasty! The server was great; we drink a lot of water, and she refilled our glasses every time they even neared being empty, and the entire atmosphere was just very laid-back and comfortable. As I said above, my husband and I will DEFINITELY be frequenting Del Prado Steak House again!! :) I would say that if you've never eaten here, JUST TRY IT!!!!! I don't think you'll be disappointed!!

Last night was the second time we have been to the Steakhouse. Both times was with a party of 9. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the service was great. But since there was a large group we asked for a second basket of bread, they brought 4 more pieces and charged 0.99 cents. I know that after spending over $350 what is $.99? I guess it is the principle when asking the manager why the charge and they said only 1 basket per table, and they would not remove the charge. So for $.99 the Steakhouse has lost some business. Too bad, for both parties. As other reviews have noted, the manager lacks the understanding of customer service.

Went for dinner with the family. Very nice atmosphere. The food was excellent (had the wienerschnitzel- nice and tender- with a salad and mixed vegetables. All the food was very fresh and tasted great. Would highly recommend it to everybody. Early bird steaks are kind of thin, but if you order off the regular menu, steaks are excellent, and I've gotten spinach sauted with garlic that is incredible here, as are the au gratin potatoes. Yum! Dumbfounded....my head is still spinning at the absolute incompetence of the ownership. Ordered the filet mignon medium well. It came out raw red in the middle when first cut into. Sent it back, reiterated medium well order. Came back a second time hardly better than the first...now with another cut into the meat. The third time they brought the steak out it was microwaved...no longer rare..but the taste was horrible. As bad as that experience was...it got worse. The owner who works in front, completely ignored us, even though she was aware of the situation. Our waitress said she would talk to the owner about removing the cost of the meal. Instead, she brought the bill and the meal was still on it. When I questioned the owner why we were being charged for the meal, her words out of her mouth were, " Your steak was cooked perfectly, the first time! There is nothing wrong with the steak you ordered! I am still in shock! This owner clearly does not understand customer service and more importantly the LIFETIME VALUE OF A CUSTOMER! There were 6 people in our party. They were hardly losing money on that transaction. What I can assure the owner is, she should enjoy the last dollar she will ever get from us! I can guarantee you we will NEVER frequent this establishment again. Nor would we recommend it to any one we know. Be warned...if there is a mistake...you are the one who is wrong, not the owner!
