Wow, what an excellent job they did. Our service was good but the food was amazing! Fresh, hot and DELICIOUS

Beat breakfast I've had since I moved to Florida 25 years ago.

We came for breakfast on a Sunday morning it was quite busy and we sat a the bar. The waitress was such an awesome waitress and considering how busy it was she did her best to take care of us and fellow patrons. The food was good, drinks were always full in front of us and again can’t say enough about our waitress. “ Tera” Thankyou.

Absolutely terrible service yesterday. No one was available when we arrived to show us to a table nor was it evident we were supposed to find a table ourselves. After waiting at the front desk at its entrance, we chose to sit at the bar. After a short wait, we got menus and water by a waitress who said she was off shift but helping out before leaving. We waited patiently for someone to take our food and drink orders, but no one came to us. After another customer at the bar, who arrived just before us, had his order taken, food and drink served and given his check, we left as our business was obviously not worth the servers’ time. Checking the most recent Google reviews of this Crystal River Denny’s, they primarily consist of “local guides” and suggest repeated reviews by regular customers, reviews then praised by this restaurant’s management. This apparent lack of more random sampling probably results in skewed results. So tourists beware.

Terrific staff, friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Denny's has a senior menu that helps keep it affordable to dine out.

Foods fine if they are expecting to see you in the restaurant, but apparently when it comes to doordash they give you the dished out tenders from the bottom of the fryer 🤷‍♀️ I’m not understanding floridas lack of care…

We walked in and waited over 10 minutes to be seated. We finally get seated. The table was dirty. When we are getting ready to place out food order . The waitress told us it's going to be at least a 40-minute wait to get our food. We left . I'm very disappointed 😞. 07032024

This Denny's has the BEST breakfast in the whole county of Citrus. Christine was my waitress and she is also the best waitress. I have been to this Denny's many times. Denny's should be very proud to have an employee like Christine. Thank you.

Shane was our server and was the best ever. Very nice and took good care of us.

Well when we got there we got seated quick but it took forever to get service at the table the waiters and waitresses where complaining about working there loud enough for everyone to hear then the food finally came it was nasty my wife order onion rings half of them look like they where in the deep fryer for a week could not and would not eat them I had the slam the bacon was under cooked the 2 pieces I got where very small the eggs tasty like powder eggs terrible even the pancakes had a funky taste to them we will never stop at this Dennys again don’t wast your money. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the bacon avocado cheeseburger or the bourbon chicken skillet. Our server was very friendly and prompt with refills and service.

2024-03-30: I have visited this location a bunch of times and have always enjoyed the food. Today, was no exception. This morning, I had a Grand Slamwich with shredded cheddar cheese, and an order of Banana Cream Pancakes. As usual, the food was excellent!

Walked out after waiting for are food for over a half hour . The family that set across from us arrived after we did and they were served and almost finished with their meal . Asked the waitress twice when we would get served and she was too busy serving other tables . My wife and I have been going there for 25 years and never had this happen .

Waited over an hour between ordering and receiving food. Food was cold.

Yesterday my wife and went to Denny's for breakfast this is a normal favorite of mine. Unfortunately for some reason who ever waited on us was extremely rude and had a additude. Perhaps is was one of those days trying to give the benefit of a doubt working in customer service myself. Honestly I hate writing reviews like like this. Other than this I would have left a solid 4-5 stars

Food was good. Service was weird. Atmosphere felt like you were in a smokey lounge diner.

Service was great, food was very good. I had a chef type salad with a large piece of salmon. Very fresh and good.

We eat here pretty regular and always has been great but today my opinion has changed. Our waitress Starr was great and was nothing but polite and handled all our needs but what happened during our visit has changed our view of this place. A male waiter yelled at her from across the dining area and was walking across the dining area yelling her name even tho she was only doing what he said. that did not sit well with us,we had our 2 year old son with us who doesn't do well with yelling or loud noises. If the management would like to reach out I would like to talk to them about the whole situation that happened as it's to much to type. We are not happy with what happened and that shouldn't happen in front of customers.

Stopped a couple of nights ago. Was surprised to see that they have crepes now (yum). We both ordered crepes with strawberries and couldn't wait to try them. Well... I will assume that they cook the crepes on the flat top grill that they cook the other food on, but didn't not clean it that well before, since our sweet crepes not only were greasy, but had random onions on them. Yuck. We ate the rest of our meal, and sat there for 20 minutes, waiting for our waitress to bring our check, but watched her chatting with the customers at the counter. Not impressed. I love Denny's, but this night was a 3 out of 10 for me. I will be back, but I do not recommend the crepes. I will make those at home. ;)

Service was very nice and respectful

They have food great service. Our favorite waitress is Cierra . She makes sure all your food is cooked properly. My favorite is the $9.99 steak and eggs with potatoes.

If you want to friendly place to eat in the morning or for lunch come to Denny's in Crystal River wonderful atmosphere

Food was very good but the only problem, it could take 45 mins-1 HR to get your food but the workers are very loyal and happy.

Shane W. was our waiter and he was amazing!!! Not only was our drinks kept full the entire meal but he actually brought us two drinks at a time to make sure we didn't go without. Very professional attitude and friendly. Will definitely be back and request for him👍

It is a Denny's, you know the deal. BUT, this one has been a nation franchise winner several times and it shows. We live a little ways away and will drive to this Denny's because it is special. The mimosas are a nice treat, too. If you are in the area, highly recommend.

I never like it when half of my food is delivered, and I have to wait on the second half of my order. This is what happened yesterday. It's happened at Dennys before, too.

Server was not even able to count we ordered 4 banana pancakes and another plate with 2 more separate banana pancakes and she brought 2 each instead and tried to convince us she was right lol other than that it was quiet and peace full and Those Banana caramel Pancakes were heaven u don't even need syrup

Meal Delivered last night, Dec. 15 was awful. Gravy over hamburger pattys. Meat was GRAY and inedible. Veggies not good either. Most meals I've had delivered have been very good, but not last night.

The food is not fancy but is always tasty, and if you get the daily special, it is reasonably priced. Breakfast is their strong point.

Food was great but the appetizer's quality of chicken and portion was lacking. Basically no meat in the hard breading. Service was great. Our waitress was super helpful attentive and cute as a button.

I was there to pick up a order and it was in the pick up area so i grabbed the order and they grabbed my food from me then started yelling at me that i wasn't aloud to grab my order from the pick up area.

The Service is good and the 🥞 are good you deserve a 100%.

The staff here are so lovely and helpful. I can’t praise them highly enough. We only had milkshakes nd dessert, but it was all very good. One lady even helped to take our order out to the car.

Dennys is a fine dining restaurant located in the heart of the city approximately a five minutes stroll from the national library. Without reservations, I went there last Sunday to celebrate my mother's birthday and thankfully the restaurant had a few unoccupied tables. Apparently, Eight Squares has limited fresh organic produce daily so the kitchen is only open at 5pm till 9pm. As you arrive at the rooftop, the atmosphere is cool and windy. The temperature gets colder as the night falls. Besides that, tables and floor tiles were noticeably spotless. You certainly feel comfortable and safe dining here. As you go through the menu, you are surrounded by a mesmerizing sunset revolving around the skyscrapers. The main course dishes were mouth watering. Firstly, the smoked duck was perfectly seasoned and tender. Also, the signature sushi platter was uniquely plated and had a sensational flavor. Personally, I enjoyed the iced lychee juice. Refreshing yet fizzy. Nevertheless, the service from waiters and bartenders was top notch. They were polite and courteous. It was delightful to see them constantly smiling. Genuinely, the price may be expensive but worth it! Overall, it's a fantastic place for a memorable dinner. Thus, I would not hesitate recommending this restaurant.

Not impressed with the service or the uncleanness of the establishment. My server was really young and had a bad attitude. She wasn't very patient at all when i asked her a few questions about allergens, etc. I used to love coming here. Just seems to have gone down hill quite badly here the past year or so.

This is one of best Dennys. We always stop in when in the area.

We had a bad experience one time, but we decided to give another shot after almost 2 years and it was stellar! Thank you for cleaning and keeping this place clean. We will definitely be back!

Was not happy ! Upon arrival was told that we wouldn't be seated till the cook caught up.....waited 45 minutes for our order ...sent it back because it was unfit for consumption...cook raised hell so loud...food came back worse than the first...walked out ..wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

It's great for Denny's. Don't come in here expecting fine dining. Your coming in getting greasy goodness that we have come to know and love.

We visited Dennys several times, and it has been good, but tonight was horrible. If I could give service a "0" I would! Pam never came back to our table after bringing out our barely warm food to see if everything was OK. Plus, I had to ask for a coffee refill, and she never offered a refill on hubby's sweet tea. Rule #1...NEVER EVER let a customers drink go empty!! There weren't, but maybe 8 tables occupied, and it still took forever for our barely warm food to come out. We had our 16 month young granddaughter with us, and she was able to eat the Skillet meal my hubby ordered as soon as the skillet was placed on the table. That should tell you the food was barely warm. I overheard another table to cancel their order because of the wait time and service. Again, she never offered refills on drinks. It'll be a very long time, if ever, we go back to this Dennys!
