A Delightful Evening at DI GUSTO Italian Restaurant My father and I recently visited DI GUSTO Italian Restaurant at 4180 Tamiami Trail N. in Naples, Florida, and it was truly special. This family-owned gem, with Monica as the chef, offers authentic and delicious Italian cuisine straight from Italy. We started with the house salad, a vibrant mix of fresh greens, carrots, tomatoes, and olives. It was one of the best salads we've had—the vegetables were crisp and cold and very fresh. Next, we enjoyed the chicken parmesan. The chicken was tender and baked to perfection, paired with homemade pasta in a delightful red sauce. The al dente pasta was simply perfect. The service at DI GUSTO is impeccable. Our waiter, Davide, was incredibly accommodating, and his father, Roberto, frequently checked in to ensure we were satisfied. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcomed and appreciated. I highly recommend DI GUSTO to anyone looking for exceptional, homemade Italian food. They also have a good selection of Italian wines and a deli where you can get all types of Italian meats and cheeses tot ake with you. If you're in Naples, don't miss a chance to dine here! On a side note, please keep in mind that you cannot see the restaurant from Tamiami Trail, and there is no signage on Tamiami Trail. DI GUSTO is behind the Wendy's in the back of the strip center. So, if you are coming north or south, you need to turn only Shady Rest Lane off of Tamiami.

A hidden gem! DiGusto is a family owned and operated restaurant that serves great food. We enjoyed the Bruschetta Mix, Chicken Parm and Lasagna. Roberto and Davide provided excellent service and conversion while Monica prepared our delicious meal. Skip 5th Ave and enjoy an authentic Italian dining experience.

Authentically Italian as the chef owner and family running it. As an entrepreneur myself, I am happy to support a family dream. We ate at di Gusto today for a late lunch today. We are Italian and look for authentic Italian food. This restaurant lived up to what we were looking for. I had oriechiette pasta with broccoli and anchovies (only 2 on the top) and my husband had pasta carbonara. We split a delicious tiramisu with espresso. Davide, the owner’s son, was our server and was wonderful to talk to about where he is from in Italy and where we have visited Italy in the past. The owner also talked with us. The food was delicious, service was excellent and the atmosphere was simple but classy.

Finally writing a review after many wonderful visits to diGusto. If you want authentic Italian food, you have to go here! Tonight, we started with the meat and cheese charcuterie board which is unbelievably good. Meats are so fresh and delicious - we wound up going home with a pound of mortadella and a mozzarella for lunch tomorrow as well as some imported pasta and wine. We took my Italian parents tonight who thoroughly enjoyed their lasagne and carbonara pasta dishes while my husband was so happy to have oricchette with broccoli. It was a pleasure to talk with Roberto and Monica and their son, Davide, before we left. This is truly a gem of a restaurant in Naples. Highly recommend.

If you want to eat like an Italian, Di Gustos restaurant is your answer: authentic, delicious, family owned by real Italians. Mouth watering, gracious hospitality, excellent service will take you to Italy! Ten stars!!

To start… the water they brought us had no ice and was actually warm. The food was either mediocre or in one case just bad. Our table faced the kitchen and we could see a microwave being used for just about all the food. One person in our party ordered the chicken parm which I tried and agreed with him that it was not good and was lukewarm at best (almost cold). Maybe because it wasn’t microwaved long enough? The portion was small which ended up being fine after we tasted how bad it was. It comes with your choice of a vegetable as a side or, you can pay an additional $9 for a side of pasta instead. The pasta was ordered for the extra charge and was maybe a half cup worth of rigatoni which again didn’t matter because it also wasn’t good. The pasta in the carbonara was good but the actual carbonara itself had no taste. The service was spotty but the staff were all really nice. We had to wait a while for service, for our food, and then for the check. I was surprised after reading all the excellent reviews that our experience was so different. Will not be back.

The quality of the food at this restaurant is far superior to any Italian restaurant in Naples. Don’t let the fact that it’s not on fifth Avenue, or in the Mercato, persuade you against trying this restaurant. It was truly as close to being in a restaurant in Italy as you can get. I had the homemade spaghetti and clams and felt as if I was eating at a sea side restaurant in Sorrento. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who loves and appreciates true, authentic, Italian food.

Chef Monica does an amazing job at creating her tasteful pasta dishes. We love coming for dinner and look forward to many more dinners at Di Gusto! Great experience Roberto and Monica

Really delicious authentic pasta

Wow!! Visited this family-owned hidden gem off Tamiami Trail and loved the authentic Italian experience. We originally planned to get takeout but thankfully changed our mind and dined-in. The Italian wine, food, and even the homemade bread were all delicious -- the carbonara was a standout. Excellent and warm service by our waiter who is the chef's son. Our new fave Italian spot in Naples -- we'll definitely be back.

Stopped by for lunch, wasn't busy at all but waited a long time for service, food, and had to go to the desk to get our check. Portion of lasagna was extremely small. The bottom layer was so tough I couldn't cut through it. The dish had an odd flavor, like maybe had lamb in the sauce. The other dish we ordered was supposed to be a tomato basil sauce but was drowned in the same meat sauce as the lasagna. Very pricey for poor quality and small portions.

Real gem, family-owned. Stopped there for lunch with my husband, my pasta was delicious and he loved his lasagna. Had a tiramisu and panna cotta for desert, both excellent and not overly sweet. Both, service and ambiance were excellent. We need more family-owned restaurants, not chains. Will be coming back soon.

We love going to diGusto. This time we brought a group of friends and the service was superb.

We came across this gem of a family-run Italian restaurant by accident and we’re delighted with it! My husband and I are world travelling foodies 😄 and this is some of the most authentic Italian food we’ve eaten outside Rome. Perfect lasagna, beautiful charcuterie boards, bruschetta with burrata and truffle, the creamiest tiramisu…. a delicious meal! Kind and welcoming service. We are very impressed with what DiGusto is doing here in Naples. We’ll be back again!

AUTHENTIC!! Close your eyes and you are in Italy. This incredible family-run jewel is found in the back of a small/quiet Rt 41 shopping center. The menu will expand in December 2023 and we can't wait. Go, experience, and support this eatery.

Super family friendly restaurant, run by a family. All the food was fresh and high quality. The homemade sauce is a must try. Creative Italian menu that is unique from any other in Naples.

Let me start by saying the restaurant was extremely clean and tidy and seems to have a great atmosphere, i ordered a sandwhich to go it was a solid 7 of 10 Only because the bread really overtakes the sandwich as a whole being so soft and fluffy Overall seems like a good joint 👍

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. The atmosphere is sophisticated but relaxed. They have expanded the eating area and it's perfect! The food is like love on a plate! I think I have tried everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The chef's talents are undeniable. From her sauces to her pasta and breads, they are so fresh you feel like you just can't get enough. Once your plate is cleaned, you realize you couldn't take another bite... except perhaps for a bit of dessert..... The staff makes you feel like family, and if in doubt of what to choose, they won't steer you wrong. I suggest you give this a try, you'll thank me!

Amazing cuisine….and service. Fresh pasta complimented with savoring flavors! We continue to return to this neighborhood Italian cucina to try different dishes….Di Gusto is a must for italian foodies. Outside of Italy, the cuisine doesn’t get any better! My wife and I had lunch there today. It was refreshing to have an authentic Italian restaurant in Naples Florida. It reminded us to some of the wonderful Bistro’s in Italy.

Had lunch at 4pm. Very delicious food and desert. Very reasonable price. At 4pm, we were the only customer, which was expected. Highly recommended.

A rarity ,an authentic Italian restaurant in Naples shore region. Family owned and opened recently. The Mom is a true Chef. Her dishes are delicate and perfect,as you would have in Milano (where they originated) . Open , immaculate kitchen. Start with a selection of salami s and cheeses. The wine selection is spot on., fine wines from Abruzzo and priced right. Desserts top off a wonderful culinary experience.

We have had dinner here and also attended their first 🍷 wine tasting night. Small intimate dining located in back of small shopping center next to Devoe Cadillac. This Italian family restaurant will steal your heart…❤️ beautiful people passionate about their food and service.

What a thrill it is for me to contribute and provide a review of DI GUSTO Italian Deli and Tasting. Honestly, I was anxiously awaiting for Chef Monica of Milan to open her fine Italian cuisine restaurant. Though Naples, Florida, can boast its array of great Italian restaurants, nothing can compare to the exquisite taste of her dishes. My friends and I leave the restaurant happier for the experience. Her pasta creations, pizzas and deserts are beyond delicious. I love the modern industrial design but mostly, I simply love Chef Monica, Roberto and Davide. Bravo for offering the best Italian cuisine in Naples. 👏🏻 I am looking forward to returning back and hope my review will entice you to experience the delicacy
