Absolutely loved the food . The young lady Julianna was attentive and curttious. The portions are well worth the money. Truckers trust me it's a pleasant change of pace.

Nearby Kohler Andrea state park. We will stop again

Stopped on the way back from watching the sunrise at Terry Andrea. Food is good, portions are big and service was very friendly. One of those places where everyone knows each other and if they don't know you they're just as friendly.

Visiting Sheboygan and was looking for a place with food to accommodate my selective eating 7 year old while still getting good food for myself and the rest of the family. This place has a good kids menu (hotdog for 7 year old - it was giant) and an even better adult menu. The staff was so nice, so nice where you start to wonder because they can't be that nice to everyone, but I honestly think they are. Good value for all the food. Diner atmosphere. I wish we lived closer but it is right off 43 and close to a state park so I am looking forward to eating there again.

Located conveniently across from the Love's Truck Stop which was a perfect little walk for some really amazing breakfast and really great service too. My husband and I enjoyed it so much we went back the next day. Definitely a nice break from the truck stop. If you are looking for some good home cooking, look no further! Definitely pinning this place on the map.

Food has been delicious every time we’ve gone! The last time we went, the service was a little slow as we spent an hour and a half there and we were trying to get going on a road trip. Prices are reasonable, and the portions are good. We will definitely be back at less busy times, lol

Based on the look of the restaurant, I was skeptical on the food being good (I know, you should never judge a book by its cover), especially with it being across from a truck stop. However, I was surprisingly mistaken. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was delicious! For my personal liking, it could have been seasoned a bit more, but it was creamy, large portion, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. I had a Caesar salad that wasn’t a traditional Caesar, but it was still good nonetheless. My brother ordered the meatloaf and it was great to him - cooked well, seasoned well. I’ve only been once, but any time I’m in the area, I will go to Parkside. The staff were efficient, professional, and friendly.

Great dinner with amazing breakfast food

The broasted chicken was good, the chopped steak was very average. The country fried steak was good, and the kids meals were quite large. Fed my whole family (2 adults do you know how & 4 kids) for 80 bucks, not including tip. The service was very good, it makes this place special. I would return again when I'm passing through Sheboygan!

Nice family restaurants with basic food at modest prices. We stop there on our trips for lunch from Chicago to Door County. Also a good gas stop.

My grandson loves this place because they have the best grilled cheese sandwich and fries. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Prices are very reasonable, the food is delicious and service is great quality.

Service was on point, food was super good- we all left with food babies and leftovers, head of the kitchen/(owner?) came to check on us. Very small town, home style, I could 💯% be a regular here if we lived closer!

Stopped here on our way back from a day trip to Milwaukee from green bay burgers were hot and delicious! French fries were good also. Gentle man in black chef coat super friendly got my husband additional water when he was out! Great place definitely recommend

We have passed by here for over a year. Today, we had time, we were hungry, and so we stopped in. We are so glad that we did. We were mad at ourselves for not stopping sooner. The food is DELICIOUS. The prices are very reasonable. The workers are so nice and patient with us. The soup to go is $1.50. And boy is it good soup. Oh, and icecream for dessert is included in the meal price. We have enough leftovers for another full meal for 2. Definitely making this happy place our regular stop!

Food was good but my food was over cooked and almost burnt. I brought it up to my waitress and she mostly ignored my concern.

I ate here last year when I camped at Kohler-Andrae State Park and really enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. This year, when I returned for another camping trip, one of my first stops was Parkside. The food is fresh and delicious and the portions are huge! I had a mushroom-Swiss omelette with sourdough toast and a side of bacon - it was big enough to feed me and my two pups (it’s a 4-egg omelette)! I came back one night for dinner and tried the Chicken Alfredo and it was incredibly tasty - the chicken medallions were perfectly grilled and the savory Alfredo sauce was to-die-for. This place has an excellent wait staff - as they are all very attentive and welcoming, and it’s clear that they like working here. Of course, management sets the tone at any establishment, and here the owner makes the rounds to each patron, checking on how everyone is enjoying their meal and to thank them for coming in. How refreshing! While I was there, I also purchased some lovely notecards created by a local artist, and it gives this place a real ‘hometown’ feel!

I ordered a pizza from here to pick up. A few months ago my daughter passed away. The owner was so kind and gave me my pizza for free and gave his condolences. Such a kind hearted man. Thank you so much

If I could rate this restaurant at less than one star… Service was so sub par- no welcome, told to just seat ourselves and while waiting 15 minutes for service both waitresses went to the restroom TOGETHER. Our waitress arrived with a less than pleasant attitude. Don’t bother eating here unless you like being treated as an interruption.

Stopped by this little gem while being parked across the street at the Loves. The restaurant does have truck parking in the back so that’s nice. I chose to park at the truck stop and walk over to the restaurant just so we didn’t have to cross the street in the dark with our shower stuff. My dad and I ordered cheese curds, the cod dinner and the shrimp basket. Everything was amazing from the food, to the staff! I had a potato pancake in a way I had never had before and it was delicious! Our appetizer came out quickly and before we were even done with it our soup and salad came out. Not too long after that our entrees were at the table. Nothing stayed on the table long once it was empty. The wait staff was wicked attentive. Thats always nice to see. Our dinners came with a scoop of ice cream. What a nice treat. I’m not sure if it was a manager or the owner who came by to check on things inbetween the wait staff coming by, but he was nice as well. We would definitely recommend this place and will be making a point to stop by again when in this area. Thanks for some great food and great service! Oh and it’s also wicked reasonably priced! **update as of this morning (the following morning)** Still waiting on my next load so we went over for breakfast. Still leaving my 5 star review because over all this place is wicked good. However, I was slightly disappointed this morning in my poached eggs. They were hard through and through. Poached eggs are supposed to be at the very least slightly runny inside, if not totally runny inside. When they’re over poached it just makes them tough and that’s what I had this morning. But their homemade corned beef is pretty damn good and everything else tasted good. The coffee there isn’t bad either. The service wasn’t as good as yesterday was, but I fell as though they weren’t prepared for a holiday weekend as they were busy and I feel just didn’t have the staff for it. Somewhat feel bad as I tip per my service. I would still come back here if in the area because overall it was a great place with great food. I just won’t order the poached eggs again.

Being a truck driver that’s always on the road gets tiresome, but walking into Parkside Family Restaurant is exactly what I needed. I ordered a Ham and Cheese sandwich with fries and a bowl of soup & when I tell you that the service was amazing, the food was wonderful and everything was delicious, hot, and made to order. Great experience!!

We have eaten here a few times. Always great food. And more than I can eat. Always take some back to the semi for a later meal. We park in the back lot at night when the truck stop is full. It’s usually quiet.

I had the taco salad bowl for lunch. Not a fan of the Mac and cheese. Husband had baked fish. He liked that.

Tastes like mom made it! Once again, I came in from working to try a new restaurant. Unfortunately, I have not been to Wisconsin but a handful of times, but I do love it. It is a gorgeous state with great people. This restaurant epitomizes their friendly, hospitable, and welcoming demeanor. The server got my order correctly and was very helpful. She did not treat me like I was a bother, but instead, like I was a good family friend coming over for dinner. I know it's weird, but I have been noticing lately that many restaurants have been getting rid of many of my favorite home-cooked type comfort foods. Especially, of all things, noodle dishes! ⁉️❓🤔❓⁉️Not so at the Parkside Restaurant. I had a huge bowl of chicken fettuccine with mushrooms, which I had added. I also had a bowl of delicious ham and asparagus soup 💓 Places do not make enough soup or varieties of it much anymore. Both items were outstanding. I was very hungry when I came in and went out so full. Also, truckers, there are about 10 spots for us to park in back. There's also a Love's close by that you could park in if the restaurant's lot is full. So if you should find yourself journeying through wonderful Wisconsin, make time to stop by and visit your old family friend, Parkside Restaurant 😀

The wonderful aromas overtake you as soon as you exit your car. Coming on a Sunday the place was extremely popular. However, staff was pleasant, attentive and helpful. Food was delicious, ambience was inviting and warm, would definitely dine again.

We usually come in with another couple on a Friday after work. We find a corner booth that fits us great. We order our food, and the owner comes around and asks how the food is and thanks us for stopping in. Waitresses are very friendly,we give them a generous tip. I recommend making a visit yourself

I love this place. "Special diets don't upset us." They bend over backwards to make certain your experience is as good as it gets. I especially love the fresh veggies. They are eldante with a little char. I have ordered just a plate of veggies before - "that good"! Everyone is super sweet. Try the gyro omelet. You will not be disappointed! If you are from out of town, go to the place with a full parking lot. This is it!

Yep, place to go. Almost don't want to share this; so it doesn't get too crowded. The truckers bar is great for local talk. Always friendly staff and locals. Diamond in the rough, home town feel. Can't wait to pass thru again soon!

As I trucker, I really appreciate that they let truckers park here. It really helped a lot when I was nearly out of hours after waiting for repairs at the truck stop across the street, and neither of the nearby truck stops had parking left. Since the truck stop couldn't get the trailer lights working, I really needed to park before dark for obvious safety reasons. This parking saved the day. I bought a meal here, and the food was great. Staff was cheerful and friendly even though I came in fairly close to closing time. I'd definitely recommend this place. And if you're a trucker using the free parking here, why not buy a meal at the beginning or end of your break, to support the business?

It had been a while since a friend and I had been to Parkside. I must tell you we were pleasantly surprised. Great food excellent service and an owner that would extremely thankful that we were there when we came. One great eating place!

My partner and I were looking for a new place to try and he ended up finding this restaurant for us while browsing online. We went and it is super cute, not too big, and the staff were super nice. As far as the food, we were very impressed. I had a tuna melt and it was delicious. Partner had prime rib and the little man had a kids cheese burger. Well definitely be back and I definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't yet!

Just walked over from Loves truckstop on a Friday afternoon and I'm really glad I did. Don't pass this one up! Friday fish fry! Food was excellent, everyone was very friendly, above and beyond on customer service which this country lacks so much...can't say enough good things about this place, try it!

I am an over the road driver. I wasn’t feeling good . But was hungry. I was greeted with smiles. Just the warmth I felt from the moment I walked into the restaurant made the trip worth it.
