This was a super cool cafe to stop in on our day of adventure. The customer service was phenomenal and everyone was super chill. Coffee was very good, my wrap was good, and my girlfriend very much enjoyed her bagel sandwich. Cat themed and eccentric design alone was worth checking out, you can also hangout with the 6 residence cats in their playroom for a small donation.

I took my kids, 7 and 4, here recently on our way to Gillette Castle. There's so much to see inside and kept the kids attention while I ordered. Great iced latte flavors and giant chocolate chip cookies. We sat outside in the back on their deck and the kids skipped some rocks in their brook. The best part was spending time in the cat lounge. All the cats are very friendly, they want to be pet and played with, and they are all well-taken care of. I love that our donations are going to their non-profit to fight against racial injustice in the area. The owner was so nice and friendly with the kids. We easily spent 2 hours there. Great visit for families or as a stop on the way to Gilette Castle.

This place is so frickin cute! the vibes, as the children say, are immaculate. cat tchotchkes everywhere, an iconic t-shirt available in tie dye, fun wood cut-outs to take pictures in--what's not to love? I had a breakfast sandwich (which was alright) and though we didn't have enough time to go into the cat room it was great to observe through the window. An absolute must-visit in east haddam, ct.

Its not just about the cats! The food is excellent and the atmosphere is welcoming and reminds me of old hippy hangouts (but way cleaner!). Its a big-hearted place. Whenever friends come from out of town, I bring them here- it's a destination place. I think of it as a sanctuary with great food and coffee, and, of course, cats.

Drove 45 minutes because my kids wanted to see the cats on our mini road trip for my daughters birthday. We had brunch and then asked the owner if we could see the cats. He said he was too busy to let us in but would let us know. We waited outside for a while, and he never came out. His customer service was poor, and he was very arrogant and not friendly. I would not support anyone's business who doesn't care about his customers' requests. The website should not advertise cats but just a cafe with cat decor. His responses on the reviews are disrespectful, and his arrogance speaks. (Went a little while and forgot to write a review).

We passed by the place on the way back to NY from eastern CT! We didn't know we were gonna stop anytime soon, but we ended up visiting and getting some delicious food and drinks and spending some time with some lovely cats. The owner was such a pleasant presence in the place and seemed to genuinely love meeting and talking to the customers. There's clearly no end to the love for cats here, as you can see by their many, many cat paintings and decorations adorning their wonderful cafe! Be sure to donate and visit the cats if you have the time, they certainly seem to love the affection!! We hope to visit again soon!!

Absolutely the cutest coffee shop we’ve ever been to! Theming is remarkable, cute cats you can donate to hang out with, great service, AMAZING food. The raspberry crumb cake was delicious and the coffee flavors are plentiful. We had the honor to chat with the owner Mark, who is a lovely and kind-hearted man. Very grateful we came across this gem!

My wife and I stumbled across this place one afternoon while driving around on the motorcycle. It was a nice little place to stop in and have lunch. It’s very eclectic with a cluttered atmosphere. The sandwiches we got were good. It’s certainly not a place I would go out for date night but for an afternoon stop it was cute.

Another great stop on the motorcycle. This wonderful little stop provides a menu full of delicious sandwiches, coffee's, smoothie, and pastries. The wrasslin cats along with a quaint atmosphere offers a spot of comfort, safety, and refuge for those needing a place to escape and not be judged for who they are. They fundraise for their community and it's definitely worth the 5.00 donation to pop in and pet the cats.

My fiance and I wanted to grab a cup of coffee since we were camping for the weekend, and we stumbled on this cafe on Google maps. When we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly atmosphere along with many unique cat decorations. The service was also quick and efficient! My fiance got the iced coffee and I got the iced Catnipuccino. Drinks were also great on our end! Would have loved to stay longer if I have known this sooner!

Very Rude!! 1st time visiting and will not be back. Asked to visit with the cats with my kids. We were told we could but there were a couple in front of us. After 15 minutes of waiting, he came outside and said it’s too close to closing you can’t see them today. He was beyond rude and unfriendly. Horrible experience

On one of our adventures we stumbled across this neat little cafe. It's completely cat themed and they have 6 cats onsite you can sit and pet. It's really unique. The owner was extremely friendly and the service was very quick. Definitely a must see if you are in their neck of the woods!

Interesting place. We drove 1.5 hrs to go into the cat room. We're told the cats were tired. Gentleman never looked up from the register to look at us just told us to come back. I said we just drove an hour and a half, sorry come back. We drove, bought lunch, coffee drinks, a bag of coffee and were told come back sort of rudely. What do you think the chances of that happening?

Looks like my original review vanished?!? I blame the dogs! Two Wrasslin Cats is a cool place with a cool cat atmosphere! The owner, Mark is truly a great guy, very friendly, always welcoming. So much so that I've mentioned him and Two Wrasslin Cats in other places for having some of the most memorable service in places to eat. The whole place is surrounded and covered with cat related items and admittedly, one of the reasons to go there! It's just a really neat and cozy place to have lunch. The food is good and I've never been disappointed! On a more humorous note, I tried ordering a "Hot Iced" Chai Latte earlier today. LOL! Ooops! I think she would have tried, but in the summer, I'll gladly stick with the "iced" latte! Thanks, you guys, had a nice time there today! Hope to be back sooner than later!

We visited Two Wrasslin' Cats and had the best experience. The entire shop is covered in cat decor which I adored. The staff are all very kind. The food and coffee were both exceptional. The best part was that we got to visit the owner's cats, who were just the cutest! Awesome place to go for cat lovers and we will definitely be back 😊

Drove an hour to visit this place after learning about it. Food was good, coffee was okay, but the BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT was that the owner would not let us visit the cat room because he was too busy with people ordering to unlock the door and let us in. If you are going to advertise as a cat cafe, you really should let people visit the cats. Otherwise I would have gone to a coffee shop 5 minutes from my home.

Mark and Co are so warm and inviting. Coffee is delicious, sandwiches are amazing, and the atmosphere can’t be beat! Thank you guys for such a great all around experience!

An imperative side trip on our mini vacation. A delight for the palate and the eye. Ample parking, choice of outdoor and inside seating. We chose indoor, and were delighted by the art and kitsch. The two way mirrors that allowed observation of the very large cats uplifted our hearts.

Customers who bring in completely untrained pets into food establishments are disgusting and make everyone else uncomfortable while putting others at risk. I will come here again and again!

I would not know about the food, but the service was the worst I have ever experienced. I was actually intimidated as harassed because my service dog was not wearing a vest which is NOT REQUORED BY LAW. The owner just kept repeating it would be more convenient for him as he was pushing me toward the door. So much for his web page advertising a dog friendly establishment. I will NEVER go here again. ***in response to the owner’s reply*** #1: I informed the owner my dog had ACHONDROPLASIA. Which is a deformity of her limbs, not a problem with her ankle. #2: When asked about my disability, I Informed the owner that I am a Type 1 Diabetic and that my dog is a Diabetic Alert dog and Alerts me when my blood sugar goes low. #3: He repeatedly told me he felt uncomfortable with my dog being in his establishment and I said I felt unsafe being in a hostile and unwelcoming environment and opted to leave. Having a vest that one can purchase with no proof of service training on Amazon does not make a pet a service dog. Perhaps you need to inform yourself on ADA regulations before you accuse people of having a fake service animal. My dog has traveled with me all over the United States and this is the first time I have ever been made to feel unwelcome in any restaurant or establishment.

A cafe that was definitely one man's vision. It's cat themed from floor to ceiling and it works. Coffee was good 3.5/5. Service was very nice if it a bit slow (they don't seem used to long lines). Nice indoor and outdoor seating

We were in town for a weekend and ate here both mornings. It is fantastic. Very accessible and friendly place. You can see the cats through windows in the dining area. The entire place is covered with cat decorations. Very adorable place. The food was amazing and great coffee. The names of the food offerings go along with the cat theme. The owner is so nice and caring and genuinely enjoys having conversations with his patrons. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are in town, go here for breakfast!

I called and talked to Mike on the phone, he remembered my name when I went in, as well as my boyfriends. He’s a kind man, with a great staff. The food is amazing (I got the cat-prese sandwich). Even during a busy day, he made time to show me the cats and let me visit with them. Highly recommend, drove and hour for this and couldn’t have been a better way to spend my time.

If I could rate this place higher I would. My girlfriend and I came around 11 o’clock and the atmosphere was great! We each got a reuben, and both were amazing and the owner made our drinks himself and they were also great! He personally introduced himself to us, he was so nice and hospitable! After we ate we went into the lounge and met all seven of the cats, and each one was so nice and playful! Especially Kit and Jazzy! We were there for hours and had so much fun! If you’re in the area it is a must-do!

do you like cats? Like, a lot? like *a lot* a lot? other than that: you see that full building, there's a cat colony in the back behind the kitchen, and it's all outdoor seating. tip 1: breakfast stops at noon; get there early. tip 2: order your food, head outside, then go behind the building. There's a bunch of lawn decorations, keep going downhill past the blocked-off gazebo, under the trellis. Just make sure you're recognizable enough that the poor staff can find you with your order.

My family decided to give this establishment a try today as we've always driven by and had an interest. The sign on the door says NO MORE THAN 6 PEOPLE in service area at a time. Okay, I open the door and there's 6 or 7 people so I had the door open about 20 seconds trying to figure out what to do or where to go when a young lady yelled SHUT THE DOOR PLEASE!- I figured it must be so cats don't get out? Now we're standing outside not knowing what to do. How were we to know how many people are in the service area? You can't see inside the windows. How long were we to wait? Nobody ever came out to guide us and we left. The rude tone of the employee who yelled at us and the fact we were too nervous to open the door again- very disappointed. We won't be back.

We drove about 45 minutes to visit and it was 100% worth it! We had such a wonderful time here. Mark (the owner) is possibly the nicest person on earth, and the food is unbeatable – both the bakery items and the sandwiches made to order. Loved seeing the cats (and we even got to visit for feeding time)! I’d recommend this place to anyone who loves cats and coffee. Make the trip; you won’t regret it!

We drove 2ish hours to visit here from Massachusetts for my birthday. Not only was the food great, the owner, Mark I believe is his name, let us visit the cats in the cat room! The cats were so sweet and very well taken care of. You can really see all the love put into this place! We will definitely have to make a trip back :)

This place is incredible! From the food, to drinks, to vibes…100000/10 would recommend this place. Mark, the owner, personally greeted every customer and chatted them up. Mark took my sister and I into the lounge area after we finished our coffee and gave us the history of the place and backstory on the cats. There needs to be 9395916 Mark’s in the world!! This place is lovely! While we didn't get to stay very long, immediately the service was quick and efficient even though they were busy. The smoothie was amazing, and iced coffee also great. I saw this place through Maps but saw it's blowing up on TikTok as well! Highly recommend checking it out (the BLT was amazing)!

so unique, very special, extremely welcoming, warm, and definitely a destination worth making a trip for if you love cats! i wish i could have a party here! Mark, the owner, is the most open armed individual, and the staff are all sweethearts. very fair prices for yummy drinks and food, and they also have t-shirts, mugs, tumblers, and coffee for sale, all cat themed. the interior decor is as maximalist as you could ever imagine, every nook has cat knick knacks and art all over. What a fun place for everyone to enjoy! First time visiting today and a definite " gotta go back soon" destination. Our young clerk was being trained ( always good to see that being done ), so the slight delay ordering was expected and appreciated! Service & product was top notch and their commitment to social inclusion is refreshing, to say the least. Ask about their mission to save cats and take a peek at the resident furballs in their room.

A delightful, whimsical, artistic space with friendly people, great brunch, and adorable cats. The cats have their own living room that's closed off to the public, but you can sit at a table with your coffee and watch through the windows. We got to chatting with the owner and he let us peek into the back to say hi to the cats during feeding time. They're very sweet and a little feisty. And they're all littermates!

First visit here after many recommendations, met expectations and beyond! The owner was very friendly and hospitable, the service was terrific, the food was great! Split the catprese and the kitten club with a friend so we could try both... the ciabatta bread was delicious, both sandwiches were tasty and had a good amount of fillings. The whole place had a fun and quirky decor, almost like cracker barrel but cats! There was a room where there are cats hanging around, and windows by the tables so you can watch the cats, or there was a fun catio over looking a small creek, very scenic and relaxing looking place. I've heard great things about their breakfast sandwiches and coffee so I'll have to try that next time, but already looking forward to visiting again.

A couple years ago me, my twin and my mom got lost in the sticks after going to pick up our thanksgiving turkey. It was dark and we found this place while we tried to figure out where we were. We went in and everything was cat themed. They treated us well, we found out where we were, we had some good food and met some nice cats (This was before the plexiglass wall) Just remembered this place and was so happy it’s still open. Five stars, you deserve it.

If I don't remember his name correctly then maybe what I'm about to say isn't true, but Mark will make you feel like you're an old friend while you're a guest in his cafe. He's nice in an authentic way, wished us a very specific "happy solstice" when we left. His mind is on the exchange and that's great for any regular or first timer alike. We got a coffee cake and a couple hot drinks for an incrediblely reasonable 'less-than-$7.' All were very good. Honestly, we had already had breakfast and really just wanted to come and see the cats for a bit while we were in town. We were disappointed to find that the cats don't just roam around the Cafe. There's a separate room with all the cats and they can be viewed through two door-sized plexiglass windows. Bummer. The rest of the interior is made up of cat nick-nacks. Overall very good, just not exactly what we were hoping for.

I was a little leery of this spot bc I I couldn’t call in my order ahead of time and being an impatient NY’er I wanted to get my food and go! I’m really happy that I couldn’t just order and run bc this was the most welcoming, enjoyable and there was so many cool things to look at! We had the Caprese sandwich and I added bacon and the other was a BEC with some Asiago cheese, they both were delicious and so was the coffee. Oh, we also had the raspberry coffee cake…yum! Go here!

A very cozy and a little kooky but in a very endearing way. i had the Et Tu Bruno Wrap (chicken caesar) and it was very good i would definitely get it again. my wife got the Tomcat Turkey sandwich (think thanksgiving meal between bread) and we both LOVED it. we both will be back and are excited to try more of what they have on the menu.

Mark was very welcoming to my wife and I. Loved the atmosphere and vibe of the place. Everywhere I looked there was something interesting to look at. The food was served in a timely matter. More importantly, it was fresh and delicious. On our way out, Mark made sure to wish us well. He even remembered our names, which made us feel even more welcome. Most definitely recommend this cozy, friendly, and tasty location.

My favorite lunch spot in the area! The entire staff is very friendly. The owner in particular goes out of his way to greet customers and get to know them. He calls regulars by name. All the kitty paraphernalia is adorable, as are the kitties themselves. The bright exterior is an immediate mood booster on cloudy days. Drinks are fantastic and very reasonably priced. Food is great — sandwiches don’t fall apart the second you pick them up and the ingredients are high quality.

Incredible Experience!!! Staff was so kind, I wish I lived in town so I could come all the time. I got a maple latte and a black hot coffee. Both were super delicious, and the prices are beyond reasonable. Was even given a few dog treats for my pup, and she loved them. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience to take back home to RI with me!!! It was my first visit to a cat cafe and it couldn't have been better!!!

I really can't say enough about this place. You're just going to have to go to enjoy it for yourself. The rare combination of quirky and sincere. Don't be fooled into thinking that because of the colors and all of the fun (mostly) cat themed stuff the cafe is a gimmick. In terms of food (sandwiches, pastries) and coffee, this is just the sort of cafe I always hope to find. There's plenty of seating too. We've been twice. The second time we decided to travel back to the area to have the chance to go here again. There aren't enough places like it. Luckily, judging by the line, the people who live in the area seem to appreciate that they've got a good thing. Please keep doing what you're doing and I'll look forward to being back!

We took a short drive to Two Wrasslin’ Cats to celebrate a birthday. The food was yummy and the coffee was delicious, had the iced mocha. We also had the pleasure of meeting the cats who were very friendly. Big thank you to the owner for making a cat loving birthday girl very happy, well worth the trip!

A hidden gem! My kids love this place and its fun interior, which includes artwork from local artists which are available for purchase. The patio (or CATio, haha) is perfect for outdoor dining in the spring and summer months. Be sure to try the shrimp corn chowder!!

The folks who own / work at this place are SO nice, the food and coffee we had was delicious and the space is cute, fun and welcoming! Can’t wait to stop in again next time we are out that way :)

They never answer their phone. They only allow 6 people in the restaurant at a time. Terrible for families. In seven years we’ve only managed to get in once. I’ve given up. Unless you have a lot of time on your hands, or you can go in the middle of the week, don’t even bother.

Two Wrasslin’ Cats Coffee House was honestly the best place to stumble upon while staying at The Getaway tiny homes while in Connecticut. My wife and I were staying in East Haddam for the weekend and went to the coffee shop twice after having such a welcoming first visit. It was such an unexpected place to stumble upon and was the best surprise. Mark was incredibly friendly and gets to know every single person by name. My wife and I loved TWCCH so much that we bought a mug to bring back to Pennsylvania and I broke it a few weeks after I got home. I reached out to Mark that I broke the mug my wife loved so much and he went out of his way to send me a new one. If you’re traveling through Connecticut or East Haddam please do not hesitate to stop by this coffee house and see the cats. Super affordable food and coffee!! Thank you Mark for all you do in your community and for the LGBTQ+ community!

Well I love cats, so that helps. Did was great, service friendly. Only downside is the front service area is tight and only six people can stand there at a time, so sometimes there's a line outside. It moves fast generally though.

This place is such an eyesore, in a beautiful town with lots of rustic charm, they stick out like a black eye on a polar bear.

We're on vacation and stumbled across this charming cat cafe. We got there, unbeknownst to us, 15 minutes before close. Mark, the owner, still welcomed us with open arms. We got a delectable strawberry banana smoothie, 2 pieces of coffee cake(he gave us 3 because one was smaller. It was not!), and a cute tumblr with their name and logo. He was super friendly and asked about our travels and was just completely overjoyed to hear about them. We weren't able to say hello to the kitties, but the entire area was perfect and I cannot wait to go again, should that day come🖤

Very laid-back vibe and friendly service. We (4 of us on an afternoon outing) were given time to read through the menu of sandwiches, each ordering something different! Mark took the time to address us all by name coming and going. After ordering and paying, we made our way to the dinning area where our sandwiches came out quickly as we explored the decor and gawked at the six resident cats in the room next door (through a window). The food was basic, fresh, and delicious. We all enjoyed our selections! The bonus was that Mark and his wife allowed us to visit with their sweet kitties (all beautiful siblings) for a little bit!
