Amazing BBQ! I crave this place daily and they never disappoint!

First time visiting, super nice staff, excellent service, delicious food, fair prices! Would definitely go again! Brisket and okra were excellent!

I paid $71 for a “family feast” and they gave me the smallest side portions. A SMALL cup and barely a full plate of fries. Ridiculous waste of money. The reviews say good portions so maybe it’s better in house. But definitely will never order or go here again.

10 times better than what it used to be. The food always was good here, but now the management customer service matches with the food.

Some say the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the restaurant is in good condition. Others recommend the place and say the classic sandwich combo is a great lunch size. And the food which they had prepared is very delicious . Finally i can say that this is the best place to eat barbecue 😋

Fantastic barbecue spot, ordered in for delivery, so I can't comment on the atmosphere of the resturant, however, the delivery service was excellent. Had my food ready and out for delivery within minutes of ordering. Delivery was fast, and the food was delivered promptly (under 30 mins from order to delivery). Food tasted great (ordered the 3 meat plate, ribs, sliced Brisket and pulled pork with Beans and Mac as sides), the all the meats were tender and juicy, quality was outstanding, and is definitely worth getting if you want great tasting BBQ for lunch or dinner. Will definitely go back for lunch or dinne, for dine in service as well as delivery.

Never before have been to Dickey’s BBQ, finished chemo treatment across the street and decided to try it……. OMG AMAZING!! If you have not been here, come as soon as you can the chicken and brisket were both amazing barbecue beans were fantastic, and the loaded potatoes were as great as the rest of it!!! To top it off FREE ICE CREAM TOO!! Best meal I have eaten outside my home in a very, very long time. The owners husband and wife were very kind and gave great service which means ALOT now a days!!! Thank you Dickey’s BBQ!!!

Its been a while since I last visited with it now being under new ownership. Food was good and the husband/wife owener operators did a great job and gave my coworkers and I an affordable and delicious lunch. I enjoyed the crispy fried okra and a sweet pulled pork sammich! It was pleasant enough to warrant a positive review. Thanks!

I placed a pickup order online for over 80 dollars worth of food. I ordered ahead from home before arriving 25 min later. I pull up to the drive thru, and no one greets me. After a few minutes, I pulled up to the window and called to let someone know I was there for my order. When someone comes to the window, he states, "we are out off ribs and can't complete your order." I said okay, well, just give me a refund for my order. He then says we have the other items, and I said that I prefer to have a refund of my whole order. I did not just want sides. Every meal I ordered had ribs. So then he says, "Well, you will have to refund online." I said no, I placed my order on your website directly, so you should be able to refund my order at the store. So he goes away from the window. Never comes back. I pull around to the front and go inside. There are only 2 guys there making orders. After he's done making someone's order, I ask if I can have my refund so that I can be on my way. He tells me to wait a minute. So I waited. Once he's done making another person's order, I ask again when I can have my refund? He says I'm making your order right now. So, im extremely confused as to why is he making my order when he said they were out of ribs, and I requested a refund. I said wait so you do have ribs? He begins to talk loudly over me and points around the restaurant, showing how busy they have been all day. I said you being busy is not the issue here. You told me you were out of ribs and could not make my order. So do you or don't you have ribs? Also, why are you making my order when I requested a refund. He refused to refund me and decided to make my order! So he essentially lied because he didn't want to make my order! Never answered why he told me that at the window. Also, he never communicated to me that he would make the order anyway. He also was making and packing orders while using black gloves. Opening a can of green beans, that he only cooked for 3 minutes. I watched him use gloves to grab a lighter to light the fire on the stove to warm, not cook green beans! Then, come back to the counter wearing the same gloves to prepare the order. By the way.. texas toast is only a piece of bread they toast. Do not order the extra bread you can have at home! This place is disgusting, rude, and unprofessional. I would not recommend it and will never return. The way he spoke to me showed poor customer service, lying, not communicating, choosing to do what he wanted to do after requesting a refund, and not clean! The kitchen and stove looked awful! Do not go to this location!

Ice cream machine was broken. They only gave me 2 sauces. Fold was good and came out hot and made to order. Seems like a family run business. People were nice. Bathroom was out of order and the seating was a little cramped.

Dickey's BBQ Chain Franchise owned by Husband and Wife, both working during our visit. Pros: Good Very Basic BBQ, Not Great, just Ok. Thankfully not bad. CONS: Husband cuts and portions meats using disposable black gloves he was wearing while we walked in with no other customers in restaurant, Wife wearing same type gloves when we walked in and was working in kitchen. Neither put on new gloves to prepare our meals. We ordeted. The Disgusting part is after ordering the Wife proceeds to continue to wear gloves while taking our cash money, she makes change, hands me cash money and coins and then proceeds to return to serving our food. We observed Wife touch coleslaw, macaroni and beans bowl inside and scoops and fills, picks up bread and Okra, all while wearing same greasy dirty gloves that Wife wore while handing our cash money and coins. The extremely concerning part is how many other customers money did Wife use the gloves before serving us and how many more after we left. Disgusting! I brought this observation to Wifes attention and she completely disregarded the Facts. The Husband and Wife Never disposed of the sole set of gloves during our visit while dining in. Restaurant is Very Noticeably Neglected and needs deep cleaning desperately. I was told by the couple they bought Franchise a year ago, which reflects the recent Negative reviews since 2023. To summarize, BBQ was OK, BUT the restaurant is Very Dirty and the owners are not sanitary especially while preparing your food. Highly NOT Recommended.

Don’t come here!!! I came here yesterday for a DoorDash order. My order had a drink. The INDIAN worker looks at me and says here the order has a Dr Pepper you can go fill it up. That is NOT my job. I already have 2 jobs I had been working 10 hours!! already then doing door dash after work!! How do you even ask a customer to do part of your job when you are on the clock. So lazyyyyyy

This is my favorite BBQ spot. The brisket was tender and delicious, and the green beans were my favorite side.

Went there to order food. No one in the establishment except two workers. Waited 15 minutes to place order. We never was asked if we could be helped and left without ordering food. Disgusted to say the least!

So up until now I’d thought Dickeys was fine as a fill in in Florida where a lot of BBQ is really mid. However this meal was my first time getting dickeys from this location. The meat was cold when I picked it up 10 minutes after ordering, they got my soda wrong, and finally this was the Texas toast I paid a dollar extra for per piece… 1 star

Brisket was good but false advertisement with the fries. Menu states hand cut fries and they are not!! They are frozen regular fries. Was looking forward to hand cut fries

Very disappointed, ordered through Uber eats, food arrived with no silverware, plates, napkins, nothing. Spent $80 in family meal. Sides were tiny and would barely feed 2 ppl. Definitely not worth it....

I will NEVER visit this location again, I ordered a full slab for $30.99 plus tax, I asked does this come with any sides and I was told NO. I was hungry so I went with the ribs and asked for fries and the fries cost me $6.00. The ribs were so tough and not cooked long enough. The cream machine was down but from reading other comments, this is the norm. The worst experience when it came to BBQ You’ve been warned!

We wanted to try somewhere we haven't been before for some BBQ, and my fiance and I are both fans of brisket. While the portions foe the platter were generous, the quality of the brisket was lacking. It was flavorless and dry on its own without any sauce. Sonnys up the street has a better brisket than this place. The added touch of the complimentary self-serve ice cream was a nice touch. Having been in the service industry myself for years, I understand you can't always hit it out of the park every time a customer walks through the door. So I may come back to try something else at another date.

It was my first time visiting Dicky's, I ordered 13 smoked wings. The gentleman fried them and that caused them to be hard and dry. It's a Sunday afternoon, I was at the ER across the street and the cafeteria was closed. I tell you, I will never go back under no circumstances.

Indian's cook way better than white folks! The food is remarkably delicious and the sweet sauce isn't spicy 😋😍! The only dislike and lengthy complaint I have is that they charge for extra sauce. Double meat means 2 sauce cups, no sense to charge extra for it. Tiny sauce cups need to be bigger so people won't have to ask for more sauce in the first place. They got an extra $5 bucks out of us because they charge $0.50 each for extra sauce cups. In my opinion those tiny cups are only worth $0.25 or less. Wish they sold the bottles of BBQ sauces it would be cheaper and we would have plenty left over.

Went the drive thru for the #5 combo. Pulled pork and sausage sandwiches with fries and a drink. Menu board said $9.50 got the the window. Meal was $14.45 plus tax then a $.39 recycle charge. I asked about it and the guy at the window said it was a charge for the cup. Probably won’t be going back.

Sadly I didn’t have the pleasure of trying my food because service was poor. Did an Uber order and was told they could not give me the food because it was cancelled (on their end), and when I suggested paying for it when I was in store they refused because it’s “not the same” since I originally ordered it through Uber. Maybe if they’d provided better instructions I would’ve been willing, but instead they just wanted to shoo me away. Keep in mind they literally had the food in their hand as they told me I couldn’t pay for it in person.

This location is horrible, I think they hate money. I arrived 10 minutes before they closed, to get a drink and fries. They refused to even acknowledge that I was there. So do you close at 8:50 or at 9pm??? That's 3 bad experiences in a row, you will never see another cent from me or my family.

Terrible. Ordered through Uber Eats and received stale chicken wings. Barbeque chili tasted like it was over loaded with liquid smoke. Thank you, Uber Eats for granting me a refund.

I used to be a consistent customer at Dickies but the quality food and options have gone down hill every year. This particular store owner really isn't to blame for the food that is supplied. The store is really clean and service is great. I would Annual buy a turkey from Dickies for my work holiday potluck. The Cajun Turkey that's about $80 was my preference. I wouldn't mind paying $80 because it was a well seasoned Cajun turkey and the meat just fell off the bone... Delicious. This year I did the same however: 1. I had to "heat" the turkey. Which was fine I have no qualms heating a pre-cooked or smoked turkey. 2. When I opened the bag it was not a Cajun turkey... There were no spices nothing. It looked like a raw turkey. Still fine maybe they soaked it in Cake n spices and I just couldn't see it. 3. After cooking the turkey it didn't smell Cajun. 4. I took a piece and it tasted like regular turkey. 5. I called the store who then called the supplier and they said that's a Cajun turkey it's just done differently to how it was before. :/ 6. By this time I I had no choice the party was in 15 mins and I had to just take the turkey I promised (now a non Cajun turkey. 7. When I got home I checked the website for price difference. Because if the other holiday turkeys cost the same then no worries, right! The Cajun turkey was the most expensive. 8. Also the other turkey they offered was a smoked turkey... I did not get a smoked turkey. I may have gotten a turkey soaked in brine. 9. I could have just bought a $15 turkey and cooked it myself if that was all I was getting. 10. I will NEVER buy a holiday turkey from Dickies again. If thata what you get when you order a smoked or Cajun turkey the website is deceiving. If that wasn't what I was supposed to get then the supplier is deceiving... Either way it is not worth the $80.

Not great, chicken wings are no no, the brisket was ok, the sauces not great. It’s ok but there are better options.

Order the family meal often. Good portions and value. The owner/GM is a nice man. Always asks if need napkins, forks, sauce etc...

It’s been a long while since I had visited the establishment as things have changed a bit on appearances. Looks like it’s has new ownership. The Brisket was excellent as were the sides. Service was also on point as it looks to be a family run franchise. I will only critique the cleanliness as the place could use some new furniture and floors along with a deep cleaning. One other point was that it was a bit warm in the place to dine in but I do understand that it was one the hottest days of the year(4th of July 23) and the broiler is right behind the register pumping out heat. All in all, a decent experience although the prices have gone up by 30-40% in the past 7yrs which is to be expected under current climate.

Wasn’t able to dine in but as for everything else was awesome my wife surprised me with the brisket bc I haven’t been able to get a good cut in a long time and BOY!!!! Lemme tell yah beyond satisfied folks #1 on my list thanks very much 🤙🏽😎🔥

The food was delicious, and free ice cream, and free food for kids on Sunday!!! I loved it! The fried okra was such a nice find too! I heard this place has really turned around recently under the new ownership. I'd definitely recommend!

We hesitated about ordering from Dickey’s because of a bad experience a couple of years ago, but we were having a family gathering and wanted to give them another chance. I’m so glad we did. The food was fresh, delicious, priced right, and the order was ready on time.

I ordered through the app and it took 20 to 25 minutes to get my order confirmed after calling the restaurant the young lady answered the phone telling me she didn't receive or see my order and then I finally got a phone call back saying that she had my order after 30 minutes Very disappointed! I spent $56 on a half slab of ribs and half of chopped chicken breast and brisket. The ribs tasted like they were at least a day old and the chicken was so dry it just fell apart. Don't think I'll be a returning again after the experience on 1/12/2023

I wanted to enjoy it, the meat was so salty. I had the chicken wings and ribs. I could not believe how salty the food was. This is my first time here since new management. Not sure that was a good idea.

Ordered from here twice. Never again. I did not receive my complete order. Items were missing, like Texas toast, and additional sauces I paid extra for. My medium coleslaw was 1/2 filled and looked like yesterday’s slaw. It was so gross looking I couldn’t eat it. I’m very disappointed with the restaurant as well as Uber for not offering to remedy the experience.

I am so happy to be back at dickey's barbecue; they now have a new owner, new employees; the food is delicious, the place is in excellent condition and the customer service could give it a 10/10. I have also ordered a couple of times to pick up, and the order was on time, and exactly what I ordered.

This location is not the Dickeys from before. I ate there at 530pm on October 7th 2022. The brisket was extra fatty and thats after she trimmed a lot of fat off and made the plate. The pork ribs were jerky dry and had been sitting a long time...even in the plastic wrap. The ranch beans were less than average. The best thing about this expeience was the fried okra. It was hot and just out of the fryer and seasoned well. The carolina sauce needs to have the"carolina" part stripped from the name...cuz they would be really mad right now having seen this "sauce". The spicy sauce is spicy but without the depth of a good barbecue sauce. There are no pickled veggies or onions anything like that to put on thr side. With a drink... they charge $20.00. The best thing about the place is the okra and the staff.. they were nice... although oblivious to what a barbecue joint is really supposed to be.... Bottom line.. save your lunch money.. the 5 dollar chicken down the road at Sam Club with Sweet Baby Rays does a better job overall... Facts!!

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with barbecue beans. The beans tasted like they had just come out of a can. The pork was soggy and tasteless. Tellingly, I was there over the lunch hour and there was only one person working and only 2 other customers came in while I was there; no surprise with that based on my experience. I do not recommend at all.

Erica's personality and awesome customer service surpassed my expectation. She was bubbly and energetic and complimented my top/bathing suit. We felt welcome and spoke about our experience at the lagoon near by, as we were just leaving the lagoon and felt like eating bbq. We had two orders of two meat option (brisket, brisket burnt ends, chicken and pulled pork) with some delicious sides; potato salad, fried okra, mac n cheese,and bbq baked beans. Definitely going back.

I emailed them about the issues we had but they didn’t respond. We went there for lunch and the food tasted fine. Their ac is out and they have portable one that leak a puddle of water in front of the door. The portions were small. We went there between 11-noon and both trash cans were overflowing. The bathrooms looked like they haven’t been cleaned in a long time. They should consider changing their hours if they are having staffing issues so they can be fully staffed when they are open since it seems like most reviews have been very negative lately.

We ordered from their ghost kitchen Wing Boss through Uber eats. Our first driver abandoned ship because it wasn’t ready and our second one waited probably another 40 minutes at the store before it was ready. We were messaging her and about to cancel when she finally wrote back that she was on the way. She told us there was only one person working the restaurant. Lo and behold we get our food and both of our combo meals were missing fries even though the receipt clearly said “seasoned fries” on both. So definitely won’t be ordering again. Gave 2 stars because the chicken we did get was ok.

BBQ pork sandwiches slightly burnt (not requested). Not very flavorful until sauce was added. Dirty floors, windows, condiment area, and sandwiches sitting in oil. Bathrooms filthy and stinking!! Will not return or give good recommendation. Called Health Dept.

Very disappointed my sister and I went in your location, 1 guy asked if we were picking up we say no start looking at the menu to see what we were looking for as we were discussing what we wanted then he proceeds to ask if we are paying cash or credit we say credit he then says oh were only taking cash... your company missed a sale to night.. there should of been a sign on the door before we walked in. explaines why your business was empty from customers

The AC wasn’t working but the AC that they had going had the front door flooded we had to walk through a huge puddle of water to get into the restaurant the tables were dirty the floor it was dirty the toilet look like it had it been clean in a few days or even a week there was no soap to wash her hands so I’m not sure what the workers were using the meat was actually decent but they did put the skimpiest amount in all of our food compared to any other barbecue places I’ve been to ……unfortunately nothing else about the visit was good. It seems that it has went downhill .

Wow, this place has gone downhill. It was so dirty I didn't want our service dog to sit on.the floor. We paid $36 for lunch for 2 of us. After 1 bite, we asked for our money back. The guy refused we left our meal at the table and went to PDQ.

7.18.22 I was super excited to try the new trailer birds fried chicken offered by Dickey's… What I got was $18 and some change worth of such overcooked fried chicken that it was inedible, I asked while on site if the chicken was supposed to be that color and was met with dirty looks, AFTER I waited near 30 minutes and had to provide my mobile phone for them.to q tally receive the order I PAID ONLINE DURING ORDERING (AS IS REQUIRED) for this inedible food, THEN I report it to Trailer Birds Online anda Told.tp send FB message, so I do, then i am told the email sdress will follow up and ZERO RESPONSE (virtual restaurant partner operated by this Dickeys) and as of a week Later ZERO FOLLOW UP... NO MO food from Dickeys or Trailer Bird or the Hamburger place they're pushing in the same way! Food was great the staff was great the ice cream machine needs a good bit of HELP

This dickeys location has always had a history of being hit or miss. If it was the ownership, workers, or the atmosphere. I can’t tell if today was all the above or not. I’m now willing to drive the extra 20 minutes it will take to go to the other location off collier. I can’t tell if the young man at the register was the owner or just took his job way too seriously. He seemingly snapped at me to order from him at the register instead of from the meat preppers as they’re the first you see and that’s how it’s always been since I’ve started eating here. Short of that, maybe it’s just me, but I have a hard time accepting something from someone who doesn’t look me in the eyes when they hand you your order. From there I thought dickeys had a “serve yourself” system for sauce, but I guess they now have a 2 sauce limit. Not very bbq. Couldn’t tell if I put him off somehow. The guy next to me who seemed to have connections to something sporty seemed to get some special treatment, so I don’t know 🤷‍♂️ . Collier parkway location for me now or maybe I’m good on Dickeys altogether 👏

Walked in at 3pm and they basically were pushing us away. 2 employees on the phone but said they are super busy with online orders. Don’t go here

No answer on phone, internet says they are open...every time I go in there there is a different staff, prices vary wildly on the same menu items from one visit to the next..one time the meal was $11 the next time it was $27 the next time it was $22. I asked why the prices change so often and they tell me its just was the owners want to charge. One time they ran out of chicken in the middle of the afternoon...imagine...a BBQ place with no chicken! I am about to give up on this location. I hate to do it because I do not like the one on SR54 in Land O Lake and I have been going to the BBD location for years. But in the last three or four years the place has just taken a nose dive. When you are lucky enough to find people working there they tell you that the place has just been sold and new owners are taking over. I have heard this story about three or four times in the last several years. I hope, one day this place gets its act together.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Online it says the open at 11am. I left work at 11 for lunch arrived at 11:15 and the lights were off and doors were locked. A few minutes later a middle eastern man arrived in a dickies van with his son who I think is the owner. I asked if he’s open and he says it will take him a little bit to get opend up and says to come back tomorrow if I don’t have time after I waited 15 minutes. my whole lunch break wasted because he was late to open and he used the excuse that he lives far away. I read other reviews with the same problem of closing early and opening late. If you have a business and u can’t be there til 12 then change your hours. And the least you could do is not be rude about it. I came back the next day to use my gift card and the food was leftover from the day before. Very nasty dry brisket. Mac n cheese had black flakes in it. The Roll was stale. Worst restaurant and service I’ve ever seen in my life. And the place is filthy. Hopefully I don’t get food poisoning.

Met at Dickey’s, for an important meeting today. I hadn’t been here in years. I was unsure of the menu, yet, Erica an employee at Dickey’s, took time to explain what menu items were best for me. Joshua, the cook, prepared my brisket sandwich. I will definitely be back for the excellent service!
