I go to UT and discovered this place today, and I already know its going to be my go to hole in the wall adventure. The coffee is wonderful but the real treat of this place is the service. I didn't catch his name but he really made my morning. If you're in the area drop by its a real secret.

Robert was so kind and welcoming when we walked in!! The food was sooooo good and the music gave us a good Saturday vibe. I 100% recommend this spot. The drinks were so good as well.

Loved it here. Beautiful atmosphere. Very accommodating it was a beautiful date spot for my man and I, the owner was so nice to put a table and chairs outside for us to enjoy the beautiful day outside. We will be coming back for another mid day treat.

This delightful Cafe is run by the kindest gentleman full of joy for life. Their coffee is delightful and their breakfast sandwiches are PERFECT for fueling a day of convention shenanigans!

Besides the fact that this place is a perfect breakfast spot, one of the absolute best aspect of this place is Joe, the barista/cook/ waiter. What a delightful attitude on a Monday morning. I discovered this place after trying to find a coffee/breakfast spot on a Sunday morning in downtown Tampa. All the other places I stopped at first were closed so I was very pleased and surprised that this one was open. I was glad I did because the service, the friendless, the food was amazing. I ordered the Hammy ham and the AVO croissant - wow! One of the best breakfast croissants I've ever had. Ask for Joe! He made my day!

We walked in and the two men at the counter were full of joy and humor! The sandwiches are FIRE and the coffee is on point ! Definitely will be seeing them for breakfast every time I’m in the downtown tampa area ! Thanks for a happy start of the day!!

I stumbled across Dolce Cafe on a weekend visit to Tampa. As I walked in the door I was warmly greeted by the owner and another gentleman working. They were so upbeat and welcoming, I knew I found the right place. I ordered a vanilla iced late which was fantastic. I came back everyday of my trip and had a chance to try various coffees and the breakfast food which was all excellent. The same guys who initially greeted me subsequently served me and definitely made me feel better about the ongoing tropical storm that was happening. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Tampa.

To wrap up my Tampa trip, I decided to find a local cafe shop for a cup of coffee, a snack, and a place to read my book. As soon as I walked in the store I am greeted by the nicest people. Took me by surprise because this is not the energy I usually receive in similar establishments. The owner Robert knows how to interact with the customers. He introduced me to grilled muffins - Best muffin I’ve ever had! I was in Dulce for approximately 4 hours and I enjoyed every bit of it. Had great conversations with everyone there. If I’m ever back in the Tampa downtown area, I will definitely be back in this gem!

Decided to walk my Downtown Tampa neighborhood for lunch and stopped into Dolce Cafe. Enjoyed a chilled chicken salad on a croissant, iced chai tea with milk, and of course some Dolce (sweet cake)! Had a great convo with owner and other guests! Highly recommend this amazing, locally owned cafe conveniently located across the street from the Hotel Tampa Riverwalk, Aloft Tampa Downtown, and the Tampa Riverwalk! Whether you live here or are visiting, take a break from the heat and stop in, you’ll love it.

AVO egg toast on Dave’s killer bread perfect power breakfast, tomatoes and everything seasoning made it taste exactly like nothing else. Cold brew is definitely STRONG and I might come back for another later today. Robert, the owner, really takes pride in his shop and you can tell when you talk to him. The coffee drinks he comes up with sound like Starbucks on steroids - count me in for the Cookie crush 💪 great local business, I’ll be back for sure!

My husband and I were in town to see Justin Timberlake and we stopped by the next morning. We ordered the Affogato and OMG absolutely delicious! You can get cookies and cream or vanilla. My grandfather always said eat dessert first and that's exactly what we did, with a shot of espresso. ☺️🙌🏼

After dropping my parents at Tampa Airport, I decided to stop for coffee at Dolce Cafe + Marketplace. Since it was a Sunday morning, I was able to find roadside parking near the cafe easily. As I entered, I was greeted by the server with a warm smile, and I immediately loved the ambiance of the cafe. The cafe offers a wide variety of menu options, including breakfast and lunch items along with a range of coffee choices. From the menu, I decided to order the "Hammy-Bring My Game" and a medium iced latte. The hammy was tasty, delicious, hot, and crunchy--a perfect breakfast choice. The iced latte, with less sugar, complemented the breakfast perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed my coffee and breakfast at Dolce Cafe + Marketplace. It was the perfect stop to start my day.

I was visiting Tampa for two weeks and I found this sweet shop on an early morning search for coffee. The service and coffee were so good that I became a regular. Robert welcome me by name I didn’t have to tell him my order. The five star review for food is actually for the coffee. I didn’t have a chance to eat there, but the display of pastries, and the breakfast menu was tempting. Highly recommend!

So while walking in downtown Tampa, we stumbled across this hidden gem. The atmosphere is fun and cozy. Robert was our Barista. Joe was the cook, but we didn’t get anything to eat. Our drinks (we mainly had the vanilla and lavender cappuccino) were prepared perfectly with a balance of sweetness and coffee flavor. They also had a cute little scavenger hunt where you had to find Snoopy‘s little bird friend. One person in our part party did and got a free cupcake. In addition to savory breakfast items, they also had a nice selection of pastries. Will definitely be back!

I am always on the hunt for new places to eat lunch during the work week because I conveniently "forget" my packed lunch several times a week. I happened to try this place randomly and the food is soooo good. Get there early if your heart is set on something because they will sell out of some items early in the day, but sometimes the universe gives you exactly what you need aka the teriyaki chicken meal prep which is now my favorite. It's healthy and honestly, the amount of food and protein you get for the price is unbeatable in tampa.

Travelling from the UK and came looking for breakfast on the monday of Memorial weekend. The Avocado on toast I had was so simple but so so good, and my husband loved the happy hammy. Their coffee is also great!! The price per person of food and drink was awesome!! The owner was super friendly and made us feel really welcome. This place is great! Eggs were so fresh. I had the croissant was the best in tampa! My puppies also loved their eggs for breakfast.

We were in town for the weekend and Robert was very accommodating by substituting our scrambled egg instead of the fried egg, he gave us excellent recommendations and made us feel very at home. As I was strolling around the hotel looking for breakfast, someone called out to me from inside the restaurant, so I went in. They were patient with us despite our poor English, and thanks to that, we were able to get a warm and delicious croissant sandwich. The store had a calm atmosphere and was comfortable.

THE PLACE TO GO! This is a hidden gem in downtown Tampa and if you are someone who appreciates quality offerings, supporting amazing owners, and a clean atmosphere you have to check them out. It was such a blessing to find this place. My daughter and I were looking for a regular spot to pick up a snack on our way to our weekly study session and just happen to find Dolce. Not only did we have the best time talking to the owners, but the selection of eats was perfection! Desserts, food, quality drink offerings. They were so friendly and fun, this is definitely our new spot.

Excellent service! The owner and his employees are a joy to talk to and always have positive energy. The food is prepared in a nice, timely manner and is always delicious. I've had their coffees, teas, sandwiches, and pastries and every time I am never disappointed. The prices are very reasonable, as I am a college student, so that is always a plus. The environment is quiet, perfect for studying, and comfortable to be in.
