We went there for lunch on a Saturday. It was pretty busy but we got seated outside. We had a great time! Mimosa and Bellini were delicious. The caprese sandwich and the salmon sandwich were amazing. Also the bruschetta traditional was great! The mocha coffee was a miss, but it didn’t really matter. Would definitely be back!

It’s the last time we will pay overinflated prices for average breakfast food and rude service. Prices went up and service went down. Make sure to check your bill they love to overcharge. Sorry, hard to contact management when it was the owner’s wife (ex-wife?) who waited on us. I don’t denigrate businesses as a habit, only when they fraudulently change tip amounts and shout at customers when they ask questions.

Our absolute favorite lunch/brunch place in the 5th Ave area, actually Naples. I was hooked on their watermelon salad with crunchy prosciutto. My husband ordered something different every time we went and he loved it. If you go often enough they make you feel like family. Seek out this little gem, you won't be disappointed.

We have been at Dolce and Salato numerous times. When we want a great lunch, this is the place to come to. We had the prosciutto do Parma with mozzarella and tomatoes (simply delicious) and the eggplant parmigiana sandwich which after a few hours since lunch, my husband is still talking about as the most flavorful and delicious sandwich ever. Salads were so fresh and tasty. Coffee….best in town! Well….CAN’T WAIT to go back!! Thank you!!

We went to this place and we weren’t happy the owner is very rude and treats the workers with no respect. He’s very rude , the food is just average and expensive they charge 6 dollars for a simple expresso,,, crazy

Not kidding, this was maybe the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. The bread is baked fresh to order and is the perfect texture. Crunch but so soft and delicate at the same time. I had the Prosciutto di Parma and it was stellar. Incredibly savory prosciutto like I did not want to stop tasting it. Super fresh mozzarella and tomatoes like perfectly ripe. I honestly was floored by this sandwich it was insane. On top of that the portion was pretty big and more than I thought it would be. Pricing is fair considering the quality of food you’re going to get. I’m not sure if the owner or the manager was accommodating our table. I feel terrible that I didn’t ask his name. He was awesome. So friendly and attentive. Made sure we were enjoying our meal and really made us feel comfortable and warm. 10/10 I’d give it more stars if I could. I cannot wait to get another one of those sandwiches. Oh also the whole staff was so friendly and sweet and extremely attentive. I really feel like this experience shines brightly among restaurant experiences I’ve been having over the past couple years. Stellar absolutely stellar. I’ll be back as soon as I can.

The food and the service was so excellent!

We went to pick up some pastries for a gathering, the person who helped us had fantastic customer service skills. She went above and beyond for us and the food was delicious!

Not a lot of choices! Very expensive for a breakfast! Orange juice was half glass empty. Place was empty for a reason. Specially in slow season when restaurants are having big specials. Not experienced people working. It took a long time for a service even when it was empty.

What an absolutely delightful cafe, close to the beach, on 5th Ave. distinctive Italian flavors that are artfully presented and generous in portion size. A truly lovely place to enjoy a savory brunch or a tasty lunch. The prosciutto and melon plate is excellent. My Italian sandwich was loaded with absolutely delicious meats that balanced perfectly. I would eat lunch here every time when visiting Naples. Definitely check out the deserts and daily specials!

I grew up in Naples Florida and have visited Europe many times. Whenever I want to transport myself back to Italy, I go to Dolce and Salato. This is the best cafe in Naples and I recommend it to everyone. The owners go above and beyond to make sure your food is just how you like it. I usually sit outside for the beautiful ambiance. The incredible coffee and food is sure to make a lasting impression.

My favorite breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurant in town. Truly! Besides great food and service this place makes me feel like I’m visiting southern Europe. Best food and best coffee in town no doubt! ☕️

Best Italian Sandwiches in Naples!

Been coming to old Naples for 30 years and have seen many restaurants come and go. This place popped up a few years ago and we finally decided to try it this week. Life changing prosciutto sandwich!! Outstanding salad ( chicken salad w pink dressing ) also life changing!! We live close and I plan to make this my lunch spot at least one a week!!

Been here a few times over the last couple of years and found the food to be great. The service by the staff is okay but the owner acts like he's doing you a favor taking your order. No personality or patience for customers. The main lady there is not much better. Tight seating with no room to move and a terrible bathroom. Maybe that's why they were voted best take out!!! Skip the aditude and order to go!!

My favorite hidden Gem in Naples. The owners are wonderful people and the food is fantastic! The patio is such nice area to sit outside! Worth the wait.

This place is a MUST if you are in the area. Very authentic, and the owners always make sure to stop by your table! We got the prosciutto di Parma and the Italian sandwiches. The break is the lightest, airy bread I’ve ever had, it’s amazing! The portions are large, definitely good to split! They pay attention to details and even give biscottis with the check, great touch! They have indoor and outdoor seating and the whole experience is incredible every time.

The best lasagna I’ve had in decades. It’s hard to find Italian food comparable to when I was stationed in Sicily.

I loved absolutely everything about this place! It is a quaint little spot that absolutely felt authentic in every way. The service was impeccable and the food insanely delicious! We went for breakfast and had the Uova E Burrata which was devine... and the custard croissant.. I highly recommend both but you HAVE to try their croissants made fresh. Additionally their latte and cappuccino were superb. I can't wait to go back!!

Arrived at noon on Monday and was immediately greeted. There was no problem getting seated. If you want a true Italian atmosphere this is the place to visit. It is actually owned and operated by people from Italy. The food was fresh, warm and authentic. They had their regular menu, specials and weekly specials. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. They had a unique bread basket with a variety of bread slices that was perfect for getting a sampling. The balsamic dressing on the salad was my favorite. They had many retail items that you could purchase. When we left at 1pm they were busy. A very enjoyable Italian lunch experience. I would recommend this place for the food and experience.

This place is magnifico! If you are looking for authentic Italian panini, look no further. The staff all speak Italian and they take the food and customer experience very seriously. We will definitely be coming here often.

This was one of the worst places that we had visited. The staff was incredibly rude. The owner or the manager was constantly standing by our table looking out at everyone and making us feel unwelcomed. Felt as though he wanted us to leave As soon as we sat down.Our server came andWas incredibly rude.Do yourself a favor and skip this restaurant if you are in the area there are much better places for a bite To eat.

We did not eat there just bought some beverages. It seems like a very popular place. They have a nice terrace. The food should be good since the place is managed or owned by genuine Italian folks.

Dolce n Solato is one of the finest dining spots in Naples. You are always greeted with a smile and most important an excellent presentation of delicious fresh food. Their desserts are quite tasty as well. Whether you dine in or takeout dolce is a can’t miss experience.

Place seems cool but I tried to go hear twice today and was met with a real bad attitude from someone in charge. Almost arrogant. Not cool. Too bad.

During season it seems a bit frantic. Also when trying to convey an order to the staff they did not truly understand it.

Found this great tucked away spot on the advice of a friend. The food is amazing. We watched as they were making pasta in the kitchen. The latte was one of the best I've ever had with excellent full bodied coffee and thick delicious froth. The breakfast souffle was interesting, appeared to have been cooked in a muffin tin. I was originally put off but light and fluffy and went well with the sausage. Can't wait to go back!

Tasty food w pretty presentation..charming European atmosphere... wonderful wait staff... you don't feel rushed. Outdoor eating space. Variety filled menu. Breakfast and lunch menu available all day. And warning ..the flower isn't edible haha.

We stopped in for an early lunch after church. Most people were enjoying breakfast and a cappuccino. I ordered the Grilled Vegetable sandwich and my husband had the Italian Sub. Both were fabulous. My sandwich had thick slices of grilled vegetables. It was a mess to eat, but so good. My husband's sandwich was filled with a variety of meats and mozzarella. We had no issues with prompt service. Will return.

A totally charming place! We ate under a vine covered patio and our server was excellent. We had the sausage pepper sandwich. The bread was excellent and the peppers perfectly roasted to accompany the delicious sausage. I love their smooth balsamic dressing on the greens. Just a lovely lunch!

there are no words to express how good this place is! everything about it is spectacular! you could never order sandwiches anywhere else in the world if you tried theirs! the bread is to die for! their lasagna is also spectacular! plus they have an amazing selection of wines, they do have italian beers and their mimosa is something. they do it like italians would, and i grew up in Abruzzo so i know my food😉 they serve mimosa with freshly squeezed orange juice in a proper size wine glass and it turns amazing every time, dry yet not heavy prosecco and freshly squeezed oj make up a perfect mimosa, the way it’s suppose to be. also. the coffee. i haven’t had a descent italian cappuccino in 10 years.. real one! so foamy and smooth omg. and deserts.. don’t even get me started. their cannoli is from heaven! hearty wholesome meals, i wish they were open 24/7 😂 and their service is awesome! their stuff is attentive, kind and very welcoming! like a big italian family! truly, i’m so thankful we found this place! we have been all over the 5th but this one one our heart, it’s truly the best and one of the kind! thank you! p.a. they do have parking on the back!

This lovely Italian Cafe was recommended to us. OMG!! This place is a Gem. The Cappuccino was perfect and the cake we got was so light and delicious. To appreciate it you have to experience it.

While the food(lunch) was very good, the service was lacking. The wait person never checked on us during the meal, never refilled water glasses, and we waited over 20 minutes for a check that never came, requiring one of us to see the manager who could have cared less. Go there if you have the patience.

Amazing food .. espresso..fresh OJ and frittata were out of this world. Great place to eat downtown. Was incredibly clean and the owner is there to make sure everything is amazing. Will come back over and over. They will not disappoint you. Amazing just amazing. SUPPORT LOCAL

Waiting for a salads around 50min...they are busy i understand.No one came to say, sorry for a wait.Salad show up, we start laugh...Salad 16-17$ smaller then a side salad....tasting bad, we asked for a check right away...Manager came out and said sorry for a wait and didnt do nothing about it that I didnt eat salad, my friend too...We saw server only when she took our order and when she brought our check...Service so bad....Not coming back, no way....

The bread here is alone worth the visit! I typically hate hard breads, I don't like fighting to get the filling of my sandwich. Dolce & Salato's baguettes though reverse this and are actually the better part of the sandwich. Great people running it, great atmosphere on their front porch area, and great food!

Charming with excellent food. The only downside is that the owner is a stiff. Despite the fact that my wife and I have been going here for years, we feel like strangers every time we go. He doesn't have a clue as to how to make people feel welcome and engage with them on any level. I had dinner with friends last night who also frequent the restaurant and completely agree with me.

This was a very quaint cafe with wonderful atmosphere! Natasha made the best cappuccino! The pastries were delicious- all the waitress were very friendly and checked on us to see if we needed anything more. We had a wonderful time eating and visiting at the cafe!

Italian spot for breakfast and lunch. Affiliated with Bice Restaurant. Wait staff is quite delightful. Lattes were good and the egg centric breakfasts my party ordered were really good. My chocolate croissant was served warm and looked like a croller - high marks. Would definitely go back.

Had lunch. Excellent burrito salad. The food was wonderful. The owner was extremely friendly and the service was very good. Would highly recommend for a casual lunch. The bread was the best ever. The biscotti were so good we bought some to go.

An excellent little Italian cafe and deli that also sells some of the products that they feature in their cuisine. This cafe is a bit unnoticeable on Third Street South behind the Bice restaurant which they are not associated with. Everything we've had has been fresh with complexity in flavor and texture. Looking for a nice breakfast or lunch? Then this Cafe that closes in early afternoon is a definite don't miss.

We had a wonderful luncheon in this restaurant that is only open for breakfast and lunch. It is on the corner of 5th and 3rd and easy to miss. BUT don’t miss out. The outdoor seating is charming and the staff knowledgeable and attentive. We are sorry it took us so long to find it.

When I first looked at the menu I was worried the prices were a little steep, but the quality of the food and the portions made up for that and then some.
