We luckily found Don Bigotes on an overnight stay in Spartanburg. Everything was fantastic! The food was fresh, delicious and affordable. Service was fast and friendly. The house margarita was perfect. The entire restaurant was spotlessly clean. There are many thing in the menu that we would like to try. We will make it a point to come back to the area to dine here again!

Don't know if it was an off day or what, but took a few minutes to be seated with only one other couple in there [unusual for this place] Once seated we waited and waited to order drinks. I even signaled the person at checkout. Nothing! The hostess finally happened to walk by and was confused too as to why we had not been taken care of. She immediately got someone to take our drink and food order. This restaurant is not normally like this.

- Got my order wrong, food was okay at best otherwise - Waiting non existent, saw waiter twice the whole time - Waited 45 minutes before going to the front to ask to pay where I waited another 25 minutes to be helped

Food was mediocre at best. I had a taco salad. Meat was barely warm, shell was cold, and meat tasted “off”. It will keep you from starving, but don’t expect it to be great.

This place is one of the best places in town the food is good atmosphere is good and the wait staff are awesome..

A great place. The lunch special is 11am to 3pm is everyday they open. We shared a Nachos Deluxe no lettuce and it was incredible. The large cups mean plenty of drink. This is great Mexican restaurant.

Very great authentic Mexican restaurant with great food/amazing inside views. Our waiter was kinda fast moving and seemed like he was rushing us to order. Other than that food was very good and tasty

This restaurant has become our go-to spot for Sunday lunch. As a family of five—me, my wife, and our three daughters—we always look forward to our visits. The employees are very nice, the service is great, and the food is excellent. They always serve us on time.

Had the tacos with rice and beans. Very good service and Homer was very hospitable and friendly. Would highly recommend!

I love this place! Best authentic Mexican food in the area for cost. They never disappoint. All the food is good, and I especially love the Carnitas. I tried the new Quesabirrias and they were amazing! You get 4 of them, but I tried one before I took this picture. I also ordered the Chorizo Queso (which is also really good) and added some to the Quesabirrias- so good! Their customer service is always top-notch.

I'm a railroader so I travel. I saw this place open and have avoided it due to my own stupidity. Tonight I checked the reviews and chose to go there. I've been missing out. We were met with amazing service. The food came in minutes and was amazing. My server was Adriana but I was also helped by elmo and Salvador. Service is top notch. It's been a long time since I've been somewhere that they put the customer above the tips they get. The food, amazing. My apologies for waiting so long to come here.

Wonderful food! Ever since I had the queso and chips, it's been on my mind non stop! The food is delicious! One booth is by the host stand where they answer phones and it's not a great seat and it smells like bleach but overall, great!

The art that splashes the walls here is just a small taste of what is about to be an amazing lunch if you eat here. All food I could tell was ten to twenty dollars a plate. Majority being on the cheaper side. Greeted with chips and mild/hot salsa seconds from entering the door in a packed restaurant. Me and my parents tried several different meals. ( The bistick Mexicano I can't recommend more it was utterly delicious) This is a hard working restaurant that respects the flavors of Mexico.

We stopped at this place on a road trip, unsure if it would be good. We had pretty high expectations and they were still exceeded. This place is absolutely excellent. I wish I could give the service 10 stars because it was SO fast. We had our food within 5-10 minutes. Of course, with this kind of excellent service comes great food as well. Love this place, and we will be back. This place sets an example of how service should be. Best service I've ever seen. And awesome food.

There enchilada supreme is really good and there service is really good to I do advice people to come here if your local.

I don’t usually complain or not tip considering I am a server and understand plus tip very well. The food was great left in 20 minutes because the service was awful and passive aggressive. Attentive to some tables and attitude changed at mine. Won’t be back.

It was my first time, and i said it was the best Mexican restaurant around. Everything we ate was so good. 😋

My husband and I are new to the area and have found our new FAVORITE PLACE!!! the service is fabulous and SO FAST, the people are super friendly (it's a lovely family owned business), the food is absolutely incredible (I had the flautas and they're the best I've had in a long time.. maybe even the best ever!) My husband got a combination platter and his favorite thing was the tómale that comes with the most amazing queso on top 🤤 they have the most amazing decorations and bar area and they installed (safe) charging stations at each booth for convenience which is so cool! 10/10 would recommend any one come visit any time. we'll definitely be coming back asap!!! and bringing family when they come to visit.

This is a great Spanish restaurant. Great food, great people, great place. I ate my fill, and the volcano was fabulous. I can't remember the name but it was a volcano of flavor and food. I recommend it to people who like to eat.

Have only gotten take out from here, but every time they food has been great!

Kids had chips n cheese The table had 1 cheese dip mild and 1 dip with chorizo both excellent. Chips were warm and plentiful. The table also had Enchilada Supreme, Chicken Nachos, and poolo fundido. All were freshly cooked, served together and delicious. We also had tres leches cake for desert. Service is above par if you need tea, you're gonna get it from whoever passes by. You don't have to wait on your server. Any request really filled by anyone by far the absolute best Mexican restaurant I have been to in a while - but soon to be my favorite

Best Mexican restaurant in the upstate!!

The owners of this place are the real deal. The story goes that 4 friends previously worked at a different local Mexican joint (one of our favorite spots in the area). In 2018, the friends opened Don, and began to turn their own profit no longer working for someone else. The service is high quality and FAST. In terms of food, the quality is immaculate and the entire place embodies the perfection of their trade. You will not find a restaurant of this quality in the south east.

A great place to eat or have drinks or both employees are very very helpful and I'll see him extremely happy little to no wait for a table brought chips and dip out as soon as you can sit down very quick to get drinks extremely quick for the food and the food is unbelievably great very very reasonable cost for the food and for the drinks

It was our first time there as a family and it was delicious food! They put tables together so our family of 11 could all eat. Atmosphere was great/fun/enviting and the food was delicious! We'll be back.

Really great service and the food was hot, fresh and fast. The steak street tacos were my choice and Michelle had the Tamale and a stuffed Pablano. The street tacos were great. The meat is seasoned and cooked properly. Michelle's stuffed Pablano and Tamale were good.

Another Spartanburg restaurant that looks sketchy from the outside but when you walk a great atmosphere and set up. Full bar, TV screens everywhere. Food was great. Salsas were just right heat for me (mild) and for boyfriend (Hot spicy). Wait staff super attentive. They all chip in, not just one waiter to a table. We will definitely go back. And on the way home found a great ice cream spot. All around fun place to eat and watch football.
