I'm only giving it a three star because the location is phenomenal, and the food is very good. However, I ordered a salad. That's all. I took an hour and a half to get mine. I watched people order ahead of me and get their food before me. I saw my salad sitting there , and asked if I could get my order. They proceeded to slowly put my order in the bag, and didn't even apologize for the wait.

I'm not sure what I enjoyed more...the food or the service!! These young people who are working AND going to school are AMAZING!!❤️ I literally wanted to walk around and love on each and every one of them!! The service was excellent professionally, but done with such a warmth of down-home hospitality!! Oh....and did I say... the food was SO good!! If you get a chance to go...GO!!! You will not be disappointed!!

I truly wish it was possible to rate the Keeter Center, particularly the Mabee Lodge, as higher than 5-stars. The fact this is considered a three star hotel is a bit misleading. It is a true 5-star experience and the rooms and experience rival a 5 star hotel. This hotel/lodge is truly the best in the Branson area and maybe even the best in Missouri. I just completed my third stay at the lodge, have stayed in the Presidential Suite, a business suite and most recently the loft suites. All the rooms are large and comfortable, great lighting and plenty of charging outlets. The room size, huge bathrooms, cleanliness and comfort are enough to justify the price, but the room is just the start! The amenities and services at the lodge are truly incomparable! The fridge is stocked with chilled beverages (sodas and waters) of your choice on arrival, lavender bath salts stocked next to the HUGE tub. Each night offers turn down service, complete with GIGANTIC cookies, FRESH chilled milk, chocolates on your pillow, water bottles at the bedside and a little card with the next day's weather. The stay includes a light daily breakfast (yogurt, fruit, pasty) which is more than filling--warning--The cinnamon roles are huge! My 9 year old son and I were only able to eat 1/2 of one of our cinnamon roles. Your breakfast dishes are later whisked away by the wonderful, kind, engaging staff of students who work at the lodge. A few other benefits to mention-there is an area on the second floor with a few snacks (pretzels, nuts, mints and candies) as well as coffee, bottled water, sparkling water--all available to you throughout the day. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday evening and also enjoyed some more hearty snacks (fresh garlic cheese spread and macarons with buttercream) provided in the same area. On check-out, we were offered bottled water for our car ride home. I am sure there are many details I am missing but this truly is an incredible place and experience. I feel like the Mabee Lodge is Branson's best kept secret. The lodge is the one hotel my son uses as comparison to all other hotels, always saying "it's not as nice as the Keeter center". If you want a truly amazing stay in Branson, I clearly strongly encourage a stay at the Keeter center! You will not be disappointed--the only negative is you may not want to leave the lodge to explore the rest of Branson! Oh, and purchase a student made candle before you leave--they smell incredible!!

We ate lunch at the Dobyn’s Center and it was outstanding! Our server, Peace, was wonderful and so kind to our kids. We had a larger group of 9 and we never once had to ask for drink refills, she just brought them out to us! The restaurant itself is a beautiful Ozark lodge with tons of wood and rock features. Make sure you also get the ice cream for dessert, you will thank me!

Always Top Notch ! The students are the best at their jobs on campus

The farm-to-table restaurant is incredible! The service is excellent and the food is sublime. We’ve enjoyed every meal we’ve had: lunch, dinner, and the Sunday brunch buffet! We go every time we’re in Branson!

Went in to visit the shops. Beautiful place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ice cream was fantastic!

Every employee we encountered was so sweet and friendly. We stayed here for our wedding/honeymoon. We truly felt at home here. It's so relaxing and peaceful. All the staff at the keeter center remembered who we were and would ask how our honeymoon was going everyday. They left lots of personal touches like hand written cards congratulating us everyday and doing our personal dishes in our room. I will say I wish they would have restocked the fridge with soda, restocked the bath salts, and restocked the shower stuff everyday but I'm sure if I would have called and asked someone would have brought that stuff up but I didn't want to inconvenience anyone. They do have a coffee/tea/snack bar open 24/7 for hotel guest so that was a nice touch. They have some finger food snacks on Friday and Saturday night at the lounge. I think there's about 8 rooms on both floors. We met several other couples staying there. Everyone was friendly. They have books and boardgames you can use as well as a computer. The food at the restaurant was amazing and make sure you do the Sunday brunch it was the best food we had in Branson. We really enjoyed our time at the keeter center! Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the Keeter Center and everything about it. Nothing but praises for the young staff and all our interactions.

This Lodge (hotel) is very special. The rooms are spacious and lovely. Very quiet and comfortable. The turn down service plus milk and cookies in the evening is great, plus the breakfast that they bring to your room is above and beyond! Enjoyed walking around the campus to see the jobs the students do.

This was my first time staying at The Keeter Center. It rivals top rated hotels (Omni, W, etc) in accommodations, amenities and service. Their turn-down service complete with homemade cookies, fresh milk, and apples with delicious spreads , was first class. The suite was spacious, well appointed, and cozy comfortable. The onsite restaurant and creamery were rated in the top 3 in the Branson area. What made this place superior to most places I have stayed was their employees. They were genuinely nice, pleasant, customer-focused, and professional. I will certainly stay here again when I venture to the Ozarks.

Was in the area showing a property and decided to visit the Keeter Center. I apologize for eating most of meal before remembering to take photos! The food was really good and their service was excellent. Our server was very personable and knowledgeable of the menu and questions about the campus. They brought my husband a birthday cake and gave us the option to be sung to. The cranberry rolls and regular rolls served with 3 types of butter were wonderful! A friend brought home the Warm Banoffee Pudding and said it was delicious! We were stuffed and couldn’t hold dessert. We’ll be back sometime we’re over there again. #OzarkMountainRealtor

Wonderful lunch with friends. Eli from Salem Missouri was our waiter. Very efficient, personable and attentive to our table of 7. Then I enjoyed shopping in the gift shop!

We had our New Year's dinner celebration again at the Keeter Center. Like always exceptional food and service. A must visit place in the Branson area.

Great place to visit, stay and eat.

Both my wife and I have eaten in this restaurant at least a dozen times in the last eight years Including lunch and dinner never, has the food or service,Been a disappointment. My wife and I both have worked in restaurants for at least two decades each. Always, and outstanding experience.

Drove up with the family from Jonesboro, AR to spend the weekend in Branson. Booked a room as we were driving up, as all we’ve heard are wonderful things about the whole experience. We were out on the strip when I received a call late in the afternoon that our reservation had been cancelled as they had no other rooms ready, even though I was able to book and received a confirmation earlier in the day. Nothing was offered other than a brief apology, and we were left scrambling to find a room on a Saturday night during Christmas season, which was almost impossible. Disappointed at the whole situation. Update: The Keeter Center reached out and is making things right. I very much appreciate the response and am looking forward to returning soon with the family.

This place is amazing. Exellent service and friendly staff. We heard about this place from a bystander in Springfield. I cannot recommend this place enough. I would suggest reservations as they stay busy. The food was amazing. Many options and unique dishes to choose.

We ate at the Keeter Center at the College of the Ozarks. I had the marinated grilled pork chop and it was delicious! Service was absolutely wonderful. The students were friendly and polite. What a great College. They are getting a WONDERFUL education while learning a good work ethic and patriotism.

Stopped by for ice cream and a blueberry muffin

Dishonor to my Veteran...Tried to get a reservation for the Veterans day menu Saturday my husband talked to someone at reservations that said they could accommodate my family of 3 as a walk in because he was a veteran ..he said he was concerned there would be a long wait and they said their maybe be a wait, but if you come early it shouldn't be that long...we checked in at 5:15 and I explained this to the hostess who told us it was an hour to an hour and a half wait....so sad they cant accommodate a Veteran with a reasonable wait time. Veterans have disabilities like back injuries maybe they can't wait an hour and a half to eat. If they just simply had told us when we called it would be an hour to an hour and a half wait we wouldn't have driven 45 minutes to get there..we waited 45 min till my husband was physically uncomfortable. They didn't text us for our table till 1 hour and 11 minutes had passed. They simply had no one competent enough to tell is it would be a 90 min wait when we called...costing us time and money. Their excuse and response is shameful just do the job correctly or retrain your reservation students to answer questions correctly.

Had Ryan as a waiter tonight and he showed a wonderful attitude and did a great job serving our Central Kansas Corvette group!

We had lunch at the Keeter Center after a recommendation by a relative. McKenzie was our server and was spectacular. Not only did she have the answers about the food, but she answered questions about the college. The shrimp marinara was delicious. Plenty of shrimp and marinara sauce. The salad was a great and wonderful presentation. The maple dressing is out of this world. The servings were very ample and I didn't have dessert. The atmosphere and design of the dining area are like no other I have seen. After the meal we completed our visit with the purchase of some in the gift shop area. The attitude and politeness of all the servers and staff is greatly appreciated.

Everyone visiting the Ozarks should eat here at least once. Incredible fresh food made and served by students earning their way through college.

This was our 4th time dining at the Keeter Center. The food is always amazing, and we love that the students do everything. Everyone is very polite and hospitable. I recommend the Fried Brussel Nachos. It sounds healthy, but it didn't it.

My husband and I had dinner at the Ketters Center. I was blown away by the service; the waitress was very respectful and welcoming. She went above and beyond. The food was amazing!!! I absolutely loved the complimentary bread and butter-- I had to go to the Ketters Center gift shop to get the biscuit mix😅 The meal and dessert was great. Would recommend any day.

Had lunch. Great place great food and great service! There was a 25 minute wait for seating so we went to the gift shop.

The food is good, and the location is great, but the restaurant operation is ridiculous. Every time I try to dine in, the dining room is about 15% full. However, there is always a wait of 45 - 60 minutes. When I ask about the reason for the wait, the response is always the same: “We are short staffed.” Every time. Every year. Last time.

We had dinner and it was great. Had my mind set on the meatloaf but once I learned prime rib was the special I couldn't resist. I was not disappointed, cooked perfectly, not overly salty like most other places. She had the pork belly shrimp and grits and it was heaven yall! Tres Leche cheesecake is great. The ice cream is definitely something to come back for. We really enjoyed the whole experience. The campus is beautiful and the folks there are very nice.

Coffee bar and availability of games to bring into your rooms are a nice addition. Heated towels, bed linens and furnishings are very nice. Grandsons loved the “all you can eat” icecream bracelet bands given to them!

Didn't get to stay in the rooms. Got to eat supper there. The food was excellent. The service was wonderful. Student led program. Everyone extremely professional. Highly recommend if your ever in the Branson, Missouri area.

Just ate lunch there. It was fine dining with live piano music, excellent servers, & wonderful home grown food. A must go & experience at College of the Ozarks. Students pay no fees but work off it all.

Amazing as always- only bad thing is the wait since they don't take reservations lunch!

Had an incredible dinner! This place never fails to impress. We decided to try the brussel sprout nachos and were not disappointed. It was an adventurous delicious appetizer. All of our meals were equally just as good along with fresh rolls and desserts made on site. Red, white and blueberry ice cream was the grand finale for my taste buds. Strongly recommend making a point to get reservations and stop here for a wonderful meal if you're in the area. Prices are very reasonable for the culinary excellence. Please keep in mind that the college kids that attend College of the Ozarks pay for their schooling by working here so you may need some patience. They are not professional servers. I only say this, NOT because of lack of service (because our service has always been great) but because we witnessed some of the clients being a little harsh and demanding on the servers while we were there.

Wow that's all I can say. These young adults work hard to put themselves to school and eventually have work skills that translate directly to the real world... Every student/employee I have talked to has been nothing but a pure professional, every conservative parent should want their kid to go to school here... Now on to the room the room has lots of elements created by various students in the school and is high quality work. The beds are super comfortable and the view is awesome and unobstructed. The food is amazing and the turn down service was a nice surprise we weren't expecting... Not sure I can stay anywhere else now when we come to Branson!

We've been coming here for more than 14 years and every year when the shake up the menu, it just keeps being better and better! The brussel sprout nachos are really top 5 things I've ever eaten! We love everything here, from the incredible food, the beautiful atmosphere, but mostly the service and what the college stands for. We love being able to compliment and validate their outstanding work ethic!

Did not stay here but they have shops and other things to do. Really nice place to go.

We had an amazing dinner there, but the real treat was the service we received. I don’t know that I can think of a time when I have received better service. Helen was our waitress and provided just the right level of attentiveness. Our water glass never went empty, she offered recommendations, and she packed up our leftovers. Then when we left without our leftovers, she caught up with us to make sure we had them. Excellent is an understatement!

I don't get all the rave reviews of the restaurant. The food was not good. Too salty, didn't taste that great, and a limited menu. Maybe ate half of it. Also had lemonade which was way too sweet and it tasted like Minute Maid lemonade. It was horrible. Others at my table weren't happy with their food either. Way over priced. I realize it is students who make it. Who are these people who rate it 5 star? The parents of the students? Save your money and go elsewhere.

We stopped by for ice cream. My husband got coffee ice cream and said it was the best coffee ice cream he has eaten.

Went for Sunday Brunch walk-in at opening and had 180 min wait. We attempted to reserve online day in advance, but wouldn't all party of 2. The hostess advised today that they were probably booked at the time of reservation attempt... anyway, it was worth the wait today for the experience and ability to support the students. The biscuits, summer sausage, bacon,and salads were my favorite!

We ate dinner there. We had reservations and were promptly seated by a lovely hostess. Peace or server was very warm and friendly. The Broccoli cheese soup was delicious. My wife and I enjoyed the meatloaf made with ingredients from the college farms, while my daughter had the pulled pork mac and cheese. We all enjoyed our selections while listening to a student playing the piano. After dinner we had room for ice cream made on site as well. Our first time did not disappoint and look forward to another trip there.

This was an absolutely wonderful find. The students were very attentive. Our server was happy to answer all of our questions about the college. The food was amazing. The student violinist added to the experience. If ever in the Branson area, I highly recommend that you make a reservation and enjoy a meal.

From my experience at the Keeter Center, it is very obvious that the students are very overworked. While they still have smiles on their faces, I can tell that they don’t want to be there. I mean 10 hour shifts with only 1 30 minute break? That’s just horrible work environments. I wish better for somewhere that’s so passionate about the Lord and shaping better people, but work environments like the one in place will drive people away from wanting to be any better.

Very nice and special place, the food is good enough you "would eat there again", wait-staff very attentive and kind, you can tell they spent loads of money on this place.

Our first visit here was in 2022 at the restaurant and we could not wait to go back. This year we decided to lodge there for 3 nights, and it was the best decision we ever made. These students work hard to provide exceptional customer service, the food was top notch again and they are very professional and curtious. What i really love about this college is that these students work for their tuition if they cannot afford it. This place deserves more than 5 stars!

My husband and I loved staying here for a weekend getaway! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful! I like the concept of student employment to graduate debt free. Highly recommend this place!

What a great experience. I love being able to “unpack” a review with confidence in the rating. Here we go 1. Food Quality - 5 Stars. I love that many of the ingredients are Farm to Table done by the students themselves. Great options and fresh taste 2. Ambiance - 5 Stars. Loved the open seating and the rustic yet slightly elegant feel. The fact that the staff is all students is awesome. They work at various spots on the campus to cover their tuition. The servers do keep the tips. 3. Cleanliness - 5 Stars. All through out the dining area, reception and bathrooms it was always clean. Love the fresh flowers at each table 4. Customer Service - 5 Stars. Wow. These students are awesome. What a great dining experience. As this was our first time we had one of the hostess walk us around orienting us to the Keeter Center. I would for sure come here. The desserts are great, the rolls and scones and homemade butter. We will be back. Our server was so cute and friendly. Make sure you make reservations or come before 5:30 to be able to walk in. Thank you C of A. We’ll be back.

Located at the College of the Ozarks. We went for the Sunday brunch. Brought friends that had never been there...awesome as always. Always have 3 or so entrées, sides, salads, carved off the boned beef and ham, pasta, breakfast area, waffles, homemade cheese and meats plus 5 🌟 desserts and homemade ice cream. Pleasant students as wait staff. Best in Branson!

If you care at all about human rights you will steer clear of this place. Here is a snippet from their own website: “ The College focuses on developing young men and women in accordance with biblical teaching, including traditional notions of family, marriage, and sexuality… …The College reserves the right to prohibit events and not extend services to persons or groups that are inconsistent with the College’s beliefs and expectations.” Translation: LGBTQ+ guests will be kicked out just like a student would.

The atmosphere and architecture are extravagant.

The restaurant here is always a must!!! The students who are enrolled at this small college work for their tuition and they are always friendly. The food is world class. This is a must do place to go if you are in Branson!!!

Loved our stay at the Keeter Center. Everyone was so friendly and made our 25th Anniversary one to remember! All the little extras they do for you make this place amazing. The food was fresh and delicious each day! I can't recommend this place enough. I love supporting the students here!

What a fun place to dine. We had a large party of 10 and we were served quickly and efficiently. We spoke with the waitress and mentioned we were celebrating an 80th birthday party… they gave the birthday boy a dessert and sang to him. What a wonderful experience! They also have several places on campus that you go check out. The tractor museum was my husbands favorite spot!

The students are so very helpful. The building is gorgeous. The food is outstanding. Such a beautiful place and the service is excellent. The guest room we stayed in was beautiful!

Appetizers tight soup tight entree mid af. Wait Staff was great lemons 15/10. Think my bacon was undercooked and entree unseasoned . Grade 55% could a been great don't order meatloaf or burger

Recently enjoyed a classic fine dining experience & 1st class service from Naomi our server. The fine decor, excellent food & presentation was outstanding. The potato & leek soup paired well w/house harvest salad. We were treated w/a nice surprise that put the cherry on top. Thanks for a memorable lunch experience.

Ate at the restaurant only. Did not stay in the hotel but suspect it's very clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant was very good and the service was excellent. Staff are very attentive. Will certainly eat there again without question. Restrooms are very clean.
