The restaurant here is absolutely amazing! We love it so much that we visit every week!

The club has very nice, new pickleball courts but we were not allowed to play on them during the Exhibition. We left a little early because the 4 of us expected a clinic, as advertised, but instead it was an exhibition. Nice facility, just poor marketing for this event.

All there is is music playing children playing and distractions every second I’m about to hit a golf ball I miss it cause a loud yell comes out of nowhere

Great venue for the event. The food was ok. The service was excellent. Koni, Michelle, and the staff were great 👍🏼

We had our wedding at Ardea Country Club. Everything from the location to the food and coordination was phenomenal. The manager, Aaron, is professional, courteous and respectful, and very helpful. He gave us a reasonable price based on our needs/wants and the wedding plans. I truly felt like he cared about our special day. Our coordinator, Emma R, was terrific also. She stayed in contact with us throughout the process to ensure everything was ready on the big day. She has a very warm personality that makes it easy to communicate with her. Extremely professional and kind. Really glad to have worked with both of them! Shout out to the chef that we met that prepared the appetizers and dinner. The food was amazing! :)

Very disappointed in the Easter brunch Have Gone gone for several years it was always fantastic. Now the service was excellent, but the food not. Prime rib very good no bread no mashed potatoes no gravy nothing to go with the prime rib Scrambled eggs and some diced potatoes and raw bacon for breakfast Dinner selections for fresh fruit the melon was all gone no watermelon. What are we supposed to eat with the prime rib😂? Pathetic selection of food I feel it was 1/4 of the quality and selection it used to be brought guest and it was over an embarrassment what happened to the wonderful corn casserole the selection of breads what do you eat with a piece of prime rib Sorry to complain, but all the tables are around us were commenting on the same thing. It's really gone downhill.

Had a great round of golf. Beautiful course. Rained right before our tee time and didn’t really affect the course. For being worried about the amount of water on the course, I spent more time at the beach! But didn’t lose a ball!

Nice course but food is inedible

Sure all the cosmetics of the golf course are 5 star. But this community can’t even get a functional park for the kids. The Basketball court is shot to hell the Baseball fields doesn’t exist. No such thing as a dog park in here. But the golf course gets all the attention lol. Can’t even put deer crossing signs around with as many deer that live in that community, but you add kinda pointless stop signs. And minorities aren’t really welcomed I that community oh but great golf course. Has Tiger Woods ever played there???

North course and clubhouse renovations look great!

ELW needs to place children playground. We have so many young families without a playground. Unreasonable. Thanks

I like to change my reviews it'd not what you think especially the owner and the management of the place work there 5 month and during the holidays coming up holidays was told its in a financial freeze during the holidays then turn around and hire 3 more rookies so they can pocket the money for themselves and expecting for you to work the same way even more calling it a simple task my way is that looks like they think people are desperate not me I don't recommend this place to anyone they should be shut down and see how it feels for them to be in a financial freeze if want my opinion find somewhere else then Ardea country club its a over price pla ce and courts are in terrible condition scrap up and the lines are crooked even service is fake just to bank your money and my advice check the water they do not change it just scrap the top and if you go back they say trainer are professional but never play in any big tournaments amateur trainers over charging the clients to make more money. I give it -10 and get a new place to go your getting rip off for the money you pay for karma .

First ever google review of anything but had to do this one. Playing a round today as a guest of member. After 4-5 holes our foursome tee’d off then had to wait in fairway for foursome ahead of us on the green. We hit approach shots when green cleared then the ranger appeared, bypassed the group behind us, to tell us “ you need to play ready golf” (already playing ready golf) He never bothered to go ahead of us to actually investigate the real delay. Apoarently someone called the club house to complain about our group. Confusing because we pretty much had to wait on every hole…the entire round.(5hrs) On 18, after waiting in the fairway for green to clear, foursome behind us rides all the way up to yell “ u guys r playing painfully slow!”. Had enough at that point, argument ensued, during which yahoo behind us yells, “go back to your home (or own) course”. The assumption of course that there is no way we could be members. As prob the only black golfers (foursome) on the course, that was a big ole dog whistle for “ u dont belong here” This whole thing was reported in real time by our host but no apparent serious response from management. Im now left thinking is this type of stuff common at this club. I dont know, but be warned!

Was invited by a member of the club to play a round of golf today. This was my first experience playing at this course. However, my experience wasn't what i was hoping it to be. The members including ranger/marshall don’t seem to be friendly to individuals like myself. To start off our round, we’re on hole 5, foursome in front of us playing super slow, twosome behind us on tee box, ranger passes right by them without addressing them and comes directly to our group. Informs us to play ready golf especially on holes 7 and 9. We’re not beginner golfers and was already playing ready golf. The ranger never went ahead of us nor asked us if the group in front was playing slow, we were the target and issue- 4 distinct players! So as we made the turn we allowed the twosome to go ahead of us so they would see we weren’t the issue. Although it should have been clear after there were 3 groups on holes 6,7,8,9. As we got ready to tee off the foursome behind the twosome asked if we allowed the twosome to go ahead, we said yes. They then began to say that was a mistake because the twosome was slow and was hitting the ball all over. After being on the course for over 5 hours we finally reached 18 a par 5. Waiting for group in front of us to clear green, the group behind comes up and says to us “you guys are playing painfully slow”! We finish 18 and then addressed their comment. This then lead to more words like “go back to your own course” as if 4 black guys weren’t or couldn't be members of this course. At the end of the day, its sad that these viewpoints and perceptions are still real today. The member who invited us to play today even made this issue to staff/management of the course but to no avail as it too fell on death ears! Think twice before you play this course, depending on what persuasion you are. Some are just not welcomed!

We have been members of the former East Lake Woodlands Country Club for over 20 years. The recent change of the name to Ardea Country Club and upgrading of the North Course and soon upgrade of the Clubhouse are good and we’re much need. Sadly there is still a lot to be done to update both the North and South Course. Still we are glad to have two challenging golf courses to pay that are each unique and challenging.

Great staff, great club, great members!

Played here probably 20 times. Great courses. The food/drink service could use some work but the golf is great. 2 challenging courses. Never had a bad interaction with anyone at the club being a guest.

People act like this place is private and “members only.” That is so fake. If you have a pulse and a credit card you can play here. There is absolutely no exclusivity about this place. Instead, east lake woodlands is filled with entitled and arrogant members who can’t afford to belong to one of the nicer clubs in the area. You’ll be sure to find this place packed at all times of the day with these people - forget trying to enjoy a peaceful round of golf.

Beautiful place. I went to a workshop there and other than the air conditioner needing to be adjusted it was a nice club house

I've waited 25 years to play here and the wait was worth it. Beautiful golf course, fantastic rolled greens that run fast and true, beautiful soft fairways and great tee boxes. Lots of tee box options for every player, don't try it from the back if you're not a bomb hitter. The course was not at all crowded, we played at a great 4 hour pace and never had to wait. The clubhouse is inviting, the staff is great and the members friendly. Great on-course beverage service at least twice on each none. If you can get an invite I highly recommend Eastlake Woodlands.

Beautiful golf course and great staff. I played here for a charity tournament, and the team did an excellent job accommodating everyone. They got us started on time and helped us with our bags when we were done. The bathrooms are beautiful too. I was glad I stayed and washed up. They provided dinner for all of us. It was a wonderful day. Thank you East Lake Woodlands Country Club!

Two solid tracks and well maintained. If you are going to tie yourself to a club membership, it makes sense to pick a club with two unique courses. South course is open and has 18 fair golf holes. North course is more scenic with some tighter holes and elevated greens. Both will make you a better golfer.

Not a member of the country club. Salad was ok. Chicken reminded me of what used to be served on planes. Edible, but just.

Played the North course. Absolutely beautiful course. Great shape. Very natural habitat everywhere. Rated top 10 golf courses by Audubon.

Played the South course at Eastlake Woodlands for the first time since reopening and wasn't disappointed. Considering the amount of rainfall the Eastlake area has experienced this summer, the fairways were in great shape, bunkers were all very consistent with new sand and the new greens? Absolutely flawless!

1st, good conversation & company always improves the food...2nd, the food for a country club is normally mediocre at best. My husband and I split the $44 prime rib steak. Surprisingly, it was very good quality and prepared very well. It was served only with asparagus; it would have been nice to have a small side of scalloped potatoes. Our host brought wines that were excellent! All in all, a delightful occasion!

I swim laps and the pool is absolutey beautiful, heated and not crowded. Great club!

North course in great shape..there needs to be more yardage markers on the fairway...color coded markers need yardage on them, not just a few. Or maybe on the cart paths.

Greens have been punched..a cpl weeks ago.. Even with small amount of sand... They still roll true and quick...

I have attended several private events at this club. The banquet staff is great, but holy COW the food is AMAZING! The banquet guy is certainly quite talented, what a stud.

Great staff. Greens and Fairways were in great shape. Not enough carts and several carts were not properly charged. Several stop functioning during round of golf. Food was good. Need to add Real sweet tea to the menu.

I had an absolutely terrific time there with my company party. It was a family party and catered food and the people in the clubhouse reports wonderful near the pool. A very nice area to hang out with your family on a Sunday.

Nice location to have a small indoor wedding. Greens are kept up. Made for a nice view.

Pasta night is hard to beat. And pasta Chef always provides a great meal

I just cannot speak highly enough of this club. They have a sharp focus on taking care of their members, the courses are meticulously maintained, and the staff is top notch. The clubhouse was recently renovated and the downstairs bar area is a 19th hole oasis for post-round libations. For those who play golf, you simply will not find better kept greens and fairways in the area outside of going to Innisbrook and spending $150 for a round. The North Course is a true challenge and if you haven't had the pleasure of teeing up there, it's time to book a round.

When here for a seminar and it was okay seems a little run-down food was okay most of the dishes were dirty so I had to wipe them all off

Very nice renovated dining area and bar with great layout. Food was good as was service. Decent driving range under power lines. Friendly staff. Course was dry but good layout and very tough. Slope from blue tees is 141.

These courts bring me back to the 70s...I really enjoy playing there great players and atmosphere...thank goodness they're updating the lights ...the courts could have some extra grooming because there were some bad bounces and some high lines...I still give 5 stars because of the nostalgia and good company

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to work with Ashley McCormick at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club. We had our wedding reception there in October and she made planning this special day so easy and stress free! She worked with me every step of the way and was so responsive in my numerous emails and phone calls. She even made a contingency plan for us just in case it rained at the park where the ceremony was held. During the reception, she was the “quiet strength” in the background, orchestrating every detail flawlessly. The staff was wonderful, the reception area was STUNNING and the grounds around the club allowed for beautiful photos. (The food was delicious too!!) I highly recommend having your special day at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club and I know you will LOVE Ashley just as much as we do!

I had my daughter's sweet sixteen party here in August. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff's work (especially Miss Ashley). The pasta bar we did was exceptional. All of my guests complimented the food and location. I absolutely look forward to having another event here.

Had my 21st almost Cancer Free costume party there in October. THEY WERE INCREDIBLE! Service was 100% and Dean guided us through the entire party process. Great people to work with and BEAUTIFUL for any event!
