This was horrible for us. Standards weren't high to begin with. Opened up honey chicken and smelled ketchup. Might explain the reddish-orange color. Lo Mein was a few noodles mixed with nasty vegetables. Barely ate it. White rice was ok. ANNNNNNND they want to add fee if you use a card! Nope. You guys know it's bad... do better.

The worst Chinese food I ever try. My stomach is in painI almost vomiting. I never in my life though I will do this type of review. I order pork ribs.

Not great, and expensive. Pretty generic stuff. Everything tasted pretty much the same. Like it all came out of bags and boxes, then just fried/heated it up and put it in to-go boxes. Our bill came out to about $18 or so a person for a simple take out meal. Be aware they charge an extra 3.5% to use a credit card. I would say overall disappointed.

This is our 3rd time /o get take out here the food is very good. It only took 15 minutes and the sweet and sour soup was great

I was in there at 8:45 and my family witnessed a PHICHICAL attack on the poor cashier maybe 15yr old. The much older adult male THAT WORKS THERE repeatedly HIT her close fist the owner told me to shut up and leave because I was about to grab this "boy" and teach him about being a man, as I had my 14 yr old daughter with me and my 20yr old son along with my wife. Please DONT EAT OR GIVE THIS PLACE ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS! I'M ONLY SAYING WHAT WE ALL SEEN!

I love the heck out of the food at this place, but there's a language barrier between the employees and customers that is causing some patrons to feel put out. You don't order from a Chinese restaurant for the sparkling conversation. Set your expectations accordingly, and try not to get so bent out of shape if the folks handing your food don't cater to your particular social sensibilities.

Great food at reasonable prices! Did not have to wait long despite several people in line when I arrived.

I've ordered from here multiple times. Multiple times I've had bad experiences. The young girl behind the counter is ALWAYS very rude. I often wonder if she's being forced to work because she's never happy. Tonight was no different. I placed an order with the rude little girl, went to pick it up, only to be told they couldn't find my order. They asked me again what I ordered and I told them. The gentleman said okay. I told him if the order wasn't put in yet, then not to worry about it because I wasn't going to wait after calling it in. He just awkwardly stared at me without saying one word. So I apologized and left. Then he started yelling something. Don't know if it was at me or at the girl. After I left, I felt bad, maybe it was a misunderstanding due to a language barrier. I didn't want to leave them with food they had prepared, so I called to get clarification on if it was made or not. I spoke to the older woman, explained the situation and told her if they had prepared it, I would pay. The older woman hung up me. I don't know what their problem is. They should hire someone that knows English and isn't rude with customers. Never going back. **edit** Interesting. I swear I thought I had left a bad review on this place a few years ago. After reading the comments, I see someone said they changed their name to get rid of all the bad reviews prior! Iwl wondered where my tebow went. Deceitful!! If you want better reviews, you have to do better and listen to your customers.

Food was excellent. I had been looking for decent Chinese food and found what I was looking for. Portions are perfect and prices are not outrageous.

Usually love the food here! Not today. Pork egg foo Wong, pork fried rice, fried dumplings. The egg foo young was over cooked and a very dark brown color. Fried dumplings were really chewy and not a good chewy. Fried rice didn't taste good. And, was kinda mushy. I'm usually very pleased with the food. But, not today!

Owner walked away as I was trying to explain the order. It’s not my first time ordering Chinese food but the process should be simpler. Communicating is key. I almost didn’t come but don’t worry next time I won’t.

i called ahead and placed an order already the girl that answered was not very friendly, i had my finance pick up the order they told me on the phone it would be 17.91 yet charged him 27.95 so unless you want to get scammed and pay way more than you should i would NOT go here. ridiculous service.

Well this is my second time eating at this establishment, and I will not go back. I like to give a restaurant a second chance just in case they were on an "off day" the first time. Their food is as bland and strange tasting as the first time I was there. Fair warning, if you do decide to eat there, their idea of chow mein has no noodles in it, it's basically chop suey. I have never in my life been to an Asian restaurant where chow mein did not have noodles. I even ask for my food to be spicy... I ordered spicy dishes and then asked for those dishes to be spicy... They were still bland. There was no spice at all!

Best Chinese food in Lake County.

The chicken and vegetables were delicious except for the frequent traces of chicken bones. Next time I'll try a different dish.

I stopped at this restaurant for a quick lunch special. The boneless ribs are delicious! I’ll be coming back for sure!

We ordered to go, the food had fantastic flavors was the best so far, our order was amazing the spring rolls were very light not to oily. Definitely will be trying again. Fried rice (chicken) great and the Lo Mein chicken was delicious (Ask for no mushrooms if you are allergic). Sorry I usually take photos, but I forgot.

This has always been my go to Chinese restaurant, always fast and delicious.

Our usual place was closed so we wanted to try something new and this place had Some of the best Chinese food I’ve probably had! Tastes very fresh and flavorful. Definitely our new place from now on! Even called my mom and told her about it

Best Chinese food i have had in year's.

My husband and I order from here once a week. Lunch or dinner, the food has been pretty consistent. The fried rice sometimes isn't fresh and they are a little heavy handed with the sauce which results in soggy battered mains (ie; General Taco, Sesame Chicken). Otherwise, we are happy campers. Love the Chicken and Broccoli, Honey Garlic Chicken and Fried Dumplings.

Can't say enough great things about this place, I've never had any issues out of anyone who works there. The food is always so good ❤️

Decided to stop in to take out some Chinese food and read the previous reviews. Good food. We got the large portion and it’s REALLY a lot of food. I’m a big pig so I ate it all, but it could have easily been shared. The Kung Po chicken was good, but it could have been spicier. I wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again. The next time I’m passing through Tavares, I probably will. Thanks for the VERY filling meal!

Extremely good!! Since I moved to leesburg I’ve been looking for a good Chinese place and this is it. I love it, good prices and pretty decent portion.

Jersey shore native over here. I pronounce this perfectly executed NY Chinese. And I am soooooooo grateful. For those of who grew up in the NYC area this is comfort food. The family even has the surly teenage daughter working up front. In NYC this gal is part of the experience— the sad, doesn’t want to be there, flippant, often rude daughter. I can tell reading the reviews that they aren’t familiar with this type of gal working front dining room of a mom and pop. Let me fill you in: She does what her father tells her. Or he won’t pay for college. Or anything else. That’s about the beginning and end of that. The fact that she is miserable up front doesn’t matter to her father. She will work. That’s the end of that argument. (I went to college with a number of gals from exactly this background. The kid is likely a super genius. And wants to start a tech company but her Dad is making her sling fried rice!) Let her be. Unlike most American girls the more successful her family becomes the longer her work hours. Enjoy the food! Respect she pulls her weight!

The food is good, but the attitude of the young woman taking the order makes it not worth the hassle. She has a very hateful attitude. The meals are too expensive to have a staff member with that kind of disposition! Will NOT order from them again.

I never give 5 stars as there is always room for improvement. I have been getting food from here since they opened. The service is consistently on point and the food has always been good and fresh. It's a nice go to when I don't want to cook and better than Pizza.

East Wok has consistently good food with generous portions.

The few times I have ordered from here they have been amazing for service and attention to detail in special notes for orders. Fast service and getting food into the hands of customers in wonderful timely fashion. Food has been superb here! Must try if you haven’t yet!

Fast service. Lack of communication.

Clean restaurant. Such a great meal, one of the best soups I’ve had in a while. Baby shrimp in chili sauce is superb.

The woman taking the orders was rude, quoted pick up times that are significantly longer than actual and in general didn't care about the customers at all. Second and last time here.

The food is delicious. My only criticism is the young lady up front seems very sad. Once I came in she was crying under her mask. Most recently I came in and she was silent and seems so depressed. Please maintain a positive work environment. Life is too short. I hope she gets breaks and can enjoy life. While you have great food, it is better to see happy employees. To the young lady up front. You are a sweetheart, you are worthy, important, and deserve to be happy.
