It was nice to bring kids to an ice cream parlor. Service could be improved, but that has a lot to say about management.

Super cute diner style vibes dessert place. Has drive thru. So good. Concrete is my favorite. I get vanilla Concrete with chocolate chip cookie dough and shot of chocolate fudge. Your welcome!

Not sure if the employees were overwhelmed but service and snowballs were horrible. Unfortunately this was my first time I ever tried here and won't be back . The very top of snowball had flavor only the rest was just ice .

Eddie’s has GREAT smooth custard ice cream BUT for the life of me they do not offer smaller sizes in their “Specialty Sundaes”. Not everyone needs that amount of sweet treats. Offer smaller sizes and see what happens JS! As far as the atmosphere it could be painted more happy color verses grey and blue kinda boring bc it’s supposed to be a fun place to get sweet treats! Add some plants outside too make ya place look alive. Just my opinion take it how it resonates 😉

The young girls working need to learn how to treat customers and leave their nasty attitudes at home.

The only negative I have is I wish there was more places to sit inside. The ice cream is always fresh and I love tasting the flavor!

I don't give many five stars, but when I do it's because I'm driving down the road shoveling down a scoop of vanilla topped with fudge brownie chunks. Its like this place is a black hole - if i go near it im getting sucked in. Skip everything else - this is the place to get your cool treats in Hammond.

We love going here when it's in our budget.

I visited the drive-in. I got a root berr float (not on the menu). The clerk created it and handed me the rest of the can of root beer. She was also happy to serve a little ice cream to my pup.

Delicious sundaes and many options with big portions. It gets busy quickly, so service may be slow, but it’s worth it. 5/5 would recommend!

Friendly employees were patient and took the time to tell us about the menu(our 1st time). Delicious frozen custard!

Delicious we got the Fudge Brownie Sundae With Frozen custard layered with hot fudge, fudge brownie and salted pecans. Topped with whipped cream and a cherry omg it was so good. The pecans was amazing. I’ll be going back and trying something else. If your out give them a try..

Bad service tonight ,first time hope it doesn’t happen again . We go all the time get the same thing each time . Young lady slammed the little window on me . When I told here it wasn’t correct. Then I saw her take it to the counter on the inside and give it to a young man in the inside . Do better young lady

Great local spot for a cold treat. The drive-thru is convenient and pretty quick if you're in a rush.

What a throwback! Not a ton to say but the custard was great and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and experience.

Absolutely love this place!! Their frozen custard is so good!! The texture is thick & creamy & I love getting the little icy bits! The snowballs are also so yummy!! I actually like the chunky ice! Staff is usually very friendly when I go!!

Gotta space these trips. They are too good. Loved the German chocolate this week. Flavor for the day.

Scouting out my new town, I have to say, Downtown Hammond is so charming with so many places to stop in and eat. Ran into Eddie's Famous Frozen Custard. I decided to try the Tangie Turtle Speciality Sundae. Was one of the best custards I have ever eaten in my life. Was thick, rich, and creamy. Too good!  Inside had a cute seating section. They also had outdoor seating, and if you are in a hurry a drive thru as well. Service was great despite being busy. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.  Perfect place for those summer days and evenings!

Great old fashion custard. New flavor everyday! Tangi turtle is great, but I ask for light syrup.

We thought the employee with the ginger hair was just having a bad day, but every time we come in, she has the most aggressive and belligerent attitude. She always slams the ice cream cups onto the counter and has no personality or willingness to help guests or other coworkers. I asked for a cup carrier and she turned around and stomped away to grab it without saying anything and then shoved it in my face. She might as well just spit in everyone’s orders. She’s not handcuffed to the front counter- if customer service isn’t for you, you’re more than welcome to go somewhere else. It doesn’t help that she seems to have been there a long time, judging by how often she’s working. I think Eddie’s is some of the best ice cream in this area, but I’d rather go anywhere else than continue to be treated the way I have at this establishment by that girl.

The vanilla custard is extremely creamy & absolutely delicious.

The ice in the snowballs was so big. The bathroom is a bit scary and no one ever wants a to see girls taking their hair down in the kitchen.

I absolutely love Eddies, but there’s this one girl who has short brown hair and wears a backwards hat never works or helps the other girls. I see the other girls hustling often, but never her. It makes our custard take even longer to come out because we normally see her sitting near the counter. She is also fairly rude. Eddie’s employees used to be so great, but I see every time I come in, one girl is just sitting and not helping. I will forever return because I love this place, but I hope the management pays attention to this.

Me and my wife thoroughly enjoys this establishment she had the tangi turtle which I had to finish and I wasn't complaining and I had the strawberry shortcake it was incredible
