The food is wonderful, I ordered a dish called tacu tacu, my son had rice chaufa, and my husband had green noodles and wow, I respect the chef, the place is nice and cozy, and the background music has the perfect sound to make the place a pleasant experience. Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent ceviche!!! Great flavor, authentic and texture. Very good service. My only concern is the bad odor this place has when you walk in. It's really noticeable and could be maintenence issues, the air quality or cleaning. Please fix this ASAP as it's a turnoff to dining there.

Sorry for my comment.... But I went to eat with my friend who came from New York. . We ordered a Jelly and never in life has Jelly been served separately or so small.......if you. They want to know how to serve a Jelly. Look at the photos of all the Peruvian restaurants...it is served in the mountains and the pickles are on top...they only gave us 2 pieces of Yuca...I don't recommend it at all...

We were looking for Cuban food and this is probably more Peruvian which I’m not familiar with. The beans and the chicken need more flavor. Plantains were very good. I won’t return due to lack of cleanliness.

This place is DELICIOUS! If you are looking for a romantic date night, this is not your place because the place is not anything fancy. However, the seafood is really fresh and well-made. Everything comes in good portions and is seasoned well. Ceviche is one of the best I’ve had so far. If you’re not good with spice, get the spicy sauce on the side because it has a kick. Grilled shrimp was amazing, too. I will be back here!

Sat April 20 /24 I ordered Ceviche de Pescado ,good dish…They have to improve the service, I saw a woman watching tv , sitting on a chair , meanwhile I was waiting for Her to order the food… The place needs more clean and “class” , looks messy and needs decorate the tables…

I love this restaurant, it was recommended, and whenever I can I go with my husband. They never disappoint us, Mrs. Rosa is always very attentive to us.

I do not recommend it at all, as a good Peruvian I know my food very well and it is the worst ceviche I have ever tried in my life, it has no taste of anything other than a little spice and some lemon with salt, they put milk in it, I ordered a fish fried for my daughter and they brought me grilled chicken, they should change the chef and make the waiters know a little more about the food they are offering.

We vacation in Florida every so often, and it had been a couple of years since we were last at this restaurant. We were so pleased to find that it is still in business and just as good as we remembered it, perhaps even better. We've been here twice in the past 3 days and hopefully will be able to visit again before our vacation in Sarasota is over. We've ordered many different dishes that we felt were all 5 star worthy, but the ceviche pescado in particular is to die for. ... but it's not just the excellent food that makes El Ceviche memorable for us. It's the ambiance, which is modest but feels like a homey mom and pop restaurant somewhere in Lima or Varadero. It's the service --- I wish I knew the waiter's name, but he deserves mention for his excellence. Lastly, it's the value. Yesterday evening, we ate at a restaurant in St.Armand's circle that cost us double, and the quality of the food was easily half as good. Thanks again El Ceviche --- you're one of the reasons we love Sarasota!

I went with my husband because it had been recommended to us but the truth is that we left disappointed with the food, for the Peruvians we know where it has been seen that ceviche is made milky when the most natural is the best, the jelly, they should season the mixture with which they bread fish and shellfish before frying, had no flavor at all. Another observation, I came out of the bathroom and had the unpleasant surprise that the dishes, etc. were on a dirty tray, it is definitely a place where we would not go again.

I wanted a Cuban and they did a very good job, this is my new favorite place, Rosa was my server she has a very good heart. Thank you guys ❤️ from the heart.

Wonderful local seafood restaurant. We started with Ceviche Mixto - just right mix of a variety of sea foods. Then, a broiled Covina - the best fish I can recall having. Very generous portions. Wonderful Sangria - not sweet but fruity. Followed by a wonderful dessert flan. We will be back regularly. An extremely good value and attentive and friendly service.

A little hole in the wall, not fancy but SO delicious. We shared Lomo Saltado (even the fries in the sauce were devine) and Arroz con mariscos. Both were wonderful, fresh, and bountiful. The server, Joseph, was friendly, efficient, and laid back. We will return!

Great portion and price for shrimp ceviche. Also got a half side salad that was larger than most full house salads I see at other restaurants. If you ask for “spicy”, it’s going be spicy on the ceviche side, but overall great place.

We had gone to Francesco’s the night before and noticed the sign. Thought it looked good, went there the next night. Wonderful flavors and service. The host welcomed us and walked us through any items we weren’t familiar with. I had a grilled fish and my mom had Cuban pulled pork meal… both were phenomenal!! Highly recommend !!

I got the Lomo a lo macho and it was deliciously amazing. The beef was flavorful and tender, the shrimp was delicious, and the plantains were cooked to perfection. The service was fast and timely. I highly recommend this place when you’re in Sarasota.

Good food reasonable prices. Mom and Pop atmosphere. Small restaurant. We split the roasted pork dinner. Beer was ice cold. Don't know what was in the green sauce but ask for extra... Yummy!

A place with humble appearance but the food and service are Amazing. No words can describe the delicious taste of their fresh food, portion are big. I highly recommended this place.

Huge disappointment. After seeing great reviews we went to try it. Leche de Tigre was mushy and lacked flavor. The arroz chaufa had tough and chewy seafood. Grilled corvina was tasty but served on aluminum foil - not good for health (leaching) and appearance. Floor tiles were sticky. It was $72 with tip see attachment. Only upside was great service. Would not return.

The food was excellent. I had cerviche which was delicious. My partner had grilled fish with rice and beans. The fish was wonderful. It came with a marinated red onion salad that was outstanding. We weren’t sure what to order and the waiter helped us. We’ll be back.

Best ceviche, Peruvian rice and soup dishes in Sarasota! And you get a LOT of food for the money. Little place and can be slow but you go there for the food and value. Enjoy!!!

Ordered the ceviche, it was the best I ever had in any Peruvian restaurant. The kid said it was FYRE and I have to agree.

My husband and I stopped in for drinks and appetizers couple weeks ago and were really impressed. The bartender definitely knows how to make a great cocktail. The ceviche was extremely fresh and full of flavor. Just enough cilantro citrus and a hint of spice that is making my mouth water right now thinking about it again. The decor is really cute the service was on point. I would’ve given at five stars it took a little long for our drinks and food but other than that I highly recommend and I would definitely go back.

First time coming in lady practically kicked us out... "too busy"... couldnt seat 4 people 2hrs before they closed. She didnt say hi or asked how we were just said it's gonna be too long a wait so leave. We didn't get a choice to wait...

After discovering this gem my husband and I have made this our favorite go to spot. We come atleast once every 2 weeks. The food is SO authentic and delicious. Great size portions. Well worth the drive as we travel from Bradenton. We love the mixed chicken and beef chaufa. It can feed a whole family. We also love their llomo saltado. The taste in each bite you'll never forget! Be aware this establishment is not an order and recieve food in 10 or 15 minutes. The food is made from scratch and FRESH so the wait is a little long but again very worth it. So if you are in a rush for a quick lunch or dinner plan your time accordingly. It is a family owned business as the wife works the front and the husband is the chef. As many times as we've been here we have never met or seen him but I do tell his wife every time he is an amazing cook! We are customers for life!

It's always a good sign when the restaurant is filled with locals of the same ethnicity as the restaurant. This was no exception. Servers speak little English but made a great effort to communicate with non Spanish speaking customers

OMG I have been coming to this restraurant for years, and the food is always superb. The price is right and portions are really good. I highly recommend you try the Anticuchos a must have for a Peruvian tradition. The ceviche is delicious really authentic, and so is the leche de tigre. Any plate you order here has good flavour. If you like beer try Cusqueña its a Peruvian beer. I lived in Perú for 18 years and love Peruvian food, everytime I crave Peruvian food I come to Ceviche in Webber & Beneva. I always recommend all my friends here as they do have the best flavor of food for the price and portions in the Sarasota area. This is a huband and wife restaurant, so let's help them. Keep up the great flavors.

Not impressed about the food or the service...a 12 years old gave us the menu and then we wait for about 15 min to order the drinks and 15 more to order the food. A women was a cashier/waitress who was not well prepared for multitasking...u feel bad about her because she couldn't keep up with the orders and the tables...and the restaurant was just half capacity. The food was ok, we tried this peruvian restaurant today but we don't come back because there are others near by better than this one like Maemi...but to be honest there is a better one in Orlando that is call Memorias del Peru...by far attention and food is a place to eat peruvian food. Lo siento no me gusto el servicio y la comida bueno no fue algo q me dejo impresionada. Un nino como de 12 años nos dio los menus y tuvimos que esperar mucho para ordenar. Otra señora estaba alli y no podia con las ordenes y las mesas, se hacia un 8 por q tambien tenia q ser cajera....creo q estaban cortos de personal no se. Lo cierto es q la comida fue "ok". Yo he comido en otros restaurantes peruanos como memorias del peru en orlando y maemi aqui es Sarasota y son mejores en servicio y en el sabor. Lo siento pero no creo q volvere.

We went a few days ago, we wanted to try the Peruvian food and it was so yummy. I had the ceviche (some type of leche de Tigre was called) it was sooo good. My husband and son had the churrasco. Portion was excellent. Love the green dressing they gave us with some type Of corn. We are definitely going back. Also the Peruvian beer Cusquena was excellent. The staff was very nice too.

La comida es buena pero el servicio es pésimo. Nos dieron el menú , 10 minutos después de haber llegado. La señora solo nos puso el menú en la esquina de la mesa y no nos saludó. Esperamos 45 minutos por la comida

Good Peruvian food Great service polite and honest. I go there from three to four times per week all my friends goes there. The owners knows my voice when I call to order in advance, I’ll feel like family when I’m there. Believe me the best restaurant in Sarasota if you go there tell the lady that Senovio send you there i recommend them you will to. Buen provecho.

Best restaurant in Sarasota I had a bad experience ordered food on a day the restaurant was closed. They gave me my money back no question. I go in person at least two to three times per week this is the best great people experience in the Peruvian cosine I have visit this restaurant more than 500 times according to my cc statement
