Fantastic Cuban Sandwich with friendly service, and I've had many living here in Hillsborough all my life. This will be my new goto spot for a perfect traditional Cuban Sandwich. I was very happy to find this place, and noticed a lot of other happy people around me ordering/eating as well. I'll have to go back and try some other items soon. Highly recommended.

This place is a hidden gem. I ordered five Cuban sandwiches and they did not disappoint. The sandwiches are huge, and two people can share a sandwich. I also tried the empanadas, and they were to die for. Go try their food for yourselves. You will be glad you did.

Google lists closing time as 1pm. Called to make sure time is correct. Woman on phone said noon. Called back to place order and no one answered so drove there anyway. Got there at 11:35 and place was closed. Usually order for the family and will now have to find a new place. Change your hours on Google and state a real time. Wasted drove

El Cuba Café is a tuck away in a Circle K! This out of the way Café is an authentic Cuban style eatery that not only comes with real Cuban food but the best authentic Cuban sandwiches you can find the Tampa Bay area. American Cuban sandwiches don't compare to authentic Cuban sandwiches but Devil Crabs you'll die for. Visit this place if you dare! Thanks

I didn't know about this place until my Yelp friend Tim wrote an awesome detailed review about it. It took me a while to try it, but I finally did last year. He was very right. Naida makes some tasty Cuban sandwiches here for a good price. The star of the sandwich is Naida's roast pork. It's well seasoned and it totally makes this sandwich shine. I usually get it with everything, but I keep forgetting that they'll include onions if you ask for it "all the way." It's good with or without it, but I prefer it without. Just keep that in mind and be specific if you don't want onions on your sandwich. Naida also makes the best café con leche. I sometimes go there just for Cuban toast and that awesome coffee. It gives me energy! They have a small hot bar area of daily offerings with some kind of rice and beans. It may change daily. I haven't ordered a platter, but I will one day. They do have a tasty arroz con salchichas side item. My mom used to make it sometimes with those little canned Vienna sausages. Yeah, it's a comfort thing for me. They also make wonderful breakfast sandwiches and ham croquettes. El Cuba Cafe is hidden inside of a Circle K convenience store on Bell Shoals Road. It's directly across the street from Publix at Bloomingdale Square. I know it has Cuba in the name, but their is a lot of Puerto Rican representation here. That may also be why I'm so fond of it. It's also super convenient, and the service is great. I usually drive in the back way to avoid all the construction nearby. There's no dining area. You just order your meal and take it with you. It's a no frills kind of place. A real hidden gem!

This little cafe is hidden in a Circle K, and has the best Cuban food in town. Love their empanadas, breakfast sandwiches, and cafe con leche. Staff is always friendly!

Seriously the best cuban place ivw been to so far. The cafe con leche is phenomenal like had my jaw droppin and i had to let my family try a sip to know what im talkin about.i also got the empanada and croquettes and OML! this is my new go to place the foods amazing like fr fr and real cuban coffee. Oh also the hot sauce was realllllyy good too im pretty sure it was homemade cuz it was tasttttyyy😋😋

Wow! This place makes the absolute best Cuban Coffee around. I come from Miami where I was accustomed to great coffee. Here for 2 years before I found this place and can speak to how good it is compared to the rest.

I always have good experience. I like that she is there early. I go there in the mornings between 6-6:30 am to get some breakfast to take to work. Her alcapurrias are really good and she always fried them for me at the moment with no hesitation. I have no complaints about anything. Prices are reasonable…

Love the food here. This is inside Circle K. It's a great place to stop for a breakfast or lunch sandwich. The food is always great and made to order. The owner is always there behind the counter and is very nice and accommodating. The also have croquettes and empanadas that are delicious. Stop here on your way to work and grab lunch.

Don't let the fact that it's in a gas station turn you off. The food is delicious. The Cuban was excellent, the stuffed yucca was dope, and the beef empanada was righteous. Prices are also great.

It's always pleasant to stop by and get a bite to eat at El Cuba Cafe. Nadia and company are very courtious and their food is very good. Nadia makes the best empanadillas in town!

Everything I have tried here has been amazing!! Empanadas are great, stuffed potatoes awesome, cuban is very good. She makes her own hot sauce an its fantastic. This is definitely a must try!!

We were sad to see the original owner retire. We have come to love the new owner who is an amazing cook and fantastic person. I adore her chicken with beans and rice. My husband is a huge fan of the breakfast cuban and hot pressed lunch cuban. If you haven't tried it, you are missing a hidden gem. Togo only as no seating inside. There is a park a few miles away and a table or two outside the convenience store. We are blessed to live close enough to enjoy it as often as our budget allows.
