We went in on Sept 10 for dinner. We were the only table, the only customers. There were 2 people working. Even though were the only customers seated, the person forgot our drinks, didn't give us silverware, didn't understand our order from the menu and the 2 entres didn't get to the table at the same time. Their chips are not made there, they are not fresh. The salsa is not Mexican salsa, it's good but not Mexican. The entree was not good at all. Don't bother going there, complete disappointment even though there are raving google reviews, don't believe it, our experience was terrible.

Great service and atmosphere. The food was just ok. Daughters nachos cheese was barely melted. Carne asada was pan fried. Way over priced.

Salsa and chips were fantastic and the tacos were soooo good. Authentic and delicious!

Fantastic food, good portions, and friendly service. Table service, pay at the counter. Empty when we arrived on a Thursday night after 6 pm. Shared parking lot near multiple shops, wheelchair accessible and parking was no problem. Had the steak fajitas and birria tacos and everything was sooo good! Recommended. We'll be back!

Family owned restaurant with great food and awesome vibes.

This is a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant family owned. The food is very fresh, and I love these the pork jowl tacos although that is not on the regular menu. Sometimes the owner also makes fresh chips from tortilla which are amazing.

Everything was homemade, the beans, asada,pastor, and the tortillas, all excellent. The sauce is also delicious, I value a place that has good sauce and good food, usually it's one or the other. And the lady who helped me was genuinely kind. I'll be back to try the birria.

Please just order the quesotacos, squeeze your lime onto them, and be happy about it for the rest of the week. Best tenderest most flavorful birria meat in all my days. They’re big, I couldn’t quite finish them and I’m sad about it. Staff was quick and friendly👍👍

I ordered online and got 3 similar dishes bcz of lacking context of the name. It's very family flavor, natural, kind, and comfortable to stomach. Feel like every weekend go to grandma's home, something can eat. Well, next time i will dine in, nachoes are soft after i arrive home, so sad.

Food was so delicious - Vibe was calm had the quesadilla al pastor and agua de jamaica both hit the spot

I just came in to grab lunch because I was getting my windshield replaced next door. What good fortune for me. I ordered the taco salad and everything was made, including the shell, after I ordered it. The salad had grilled fajita vegetables as well as the delicious chicken, lettuce, cheese and homemade pico de gallo. The salsa/ pico de gallo is perfect. Just a little bit of heat but not too much for my taste. It is homemade in house and beautiful! The owner is a sweetheart and puts her heart in every dish, it's obvious. Highly recommend coming here!

This place is simply...AMAZING! We were going to Cactus Moon..another favourite, but one in the party was lacking ID. So 8 of us walked in next door more out of convenience than anything else and..WOW! The food was simply amazing... everyone loved their food. I had Al Pastor and Chicken Tacos...the Al Pastor were the best I have had outside of Mexico. And their salsa...home made and remarkable flavour. Update Went back twice since including a large party with two Hispanic nationals. Guacamole is made to order. The wet burrito is huge, but healthy and very tasteful. One person ordered Soaps and the order included 2 very large ones. Nothing to add to the original review except more menu items sampled and all were delicious. Note that everything is hand made and it may take time...but well worth it. If you are really pressed for time...call ahead. Maria, the owner, is a genuinely kind person who takes great pride in her food and service. There were a bunch of us so food took a bit...but totally worth it!

My mom liked the Menudo and I liked the Birria. Both dishes with their handmade tortillas.

10/10 recommend! Ordered takeout and the food was still hot and ready to eat almost 25-30 min later! Food was cooked perfect and was super tasty will definitely be back

The al pastor taco was seasoned really well, not too much so it wasn’t dry and chalky but enough to let you know it’s Al pastor with a balance that comes from the fresh pineapple. The asada was done to near perfection, seasoned well, tender yet crispy. For the tacos they are a win, I look forward to trying more next time!

Amazing food . Best Mexican in Washington for sure

My friends and I drove from Seattle to try this place, and when we arrived it was closed. We checked the schedule it said it was open, but that was not true. They need to update the times on the internet.

Long story short, I've been to this place only twice in the last 7mo or so and they remembered me, the food was fresh and delicious and the staff was super kind and friendly. I want to do what I can to put this place on the map because they 1000% deserve it!! Will definitely be coming back here when possible. This place is great!! (And decently priced)

I came in about 30 mins to closing when online it says they're already closed. Mom and daughter were working alone and getting ready to leave for the holiday but took my order and got straight to work. The daughter was so kind. The mother just as humble as ever. Was greeted upon walking in which is good. Order taker was not afraid to ask questions which is extremely helpful in making sure one’s order comes out right. The food was spot on. Needless to say it’s our new favorite spot. The burrito I got was so huge and filling it took me two days to eat it all. Thank you for the awesome customer service and amazing food!

First let me preface this with a couple of facts. I have lived in nine states, including California-Nevada and Texas, and I have literally traveled all over the US-Canada and Mexico. I also happen to eat Mexican food almost daily due to my job in construction and the "often times" close proximity to it that my work has me at.This place has the absolute best tasting Mexican food I've ever had >period<. If you haven't given this place a try yet I highly recommend swinging by some time and picking something up, you won't be disappointed.

Best mexican food! The waiters were the nicest (even when my mom was speaking with her rusty spanish) they had such great choices and array of dishes. SO surprised they were empty and even more surprised by such great service. 10/10 would recommend!

Looking for something a bit more authentic than the standard Mexican style fare, and I found it! Birria tacos were phenomenal! The chips were thick, like those I had in Baja California Mexico two months ago! The flavor of the Birria tacos was incredible, super tender and delicious! HIGHLY Recommend trying this place if you have not yet!

The food is great here. A small family owned and operated restaurant. Very quiet but a lot of love goes into the making of the food. They are tucked back into a corner of a shopping building so it’s hard to see them. Good people, good food. Worth stopping by..

The Birria is incredible. I’ve been there several times and every time the Homemade Authentic Birria calls my name. The quesatacos are my favorite, but if you want rice and beans you can get the two Birria tacos with the rice and beans. The empanadas are also pretty spectacular and worth mentioning. Support this local business it is well worth it.

The food is excellent! This is my go to for Mexican. Restaurant is a little run down but has an authentic feel to it. Food is good and the owners are friendly. What more could you want? Update! They got brand new tables and painted the walls. Looks fantastic and the food is still excellent. I come here all the time now.

We stopped in for lunch today. We went to the wrong place. But it was the right place. The food is very good. We absolutely loved it. We both decided that we do not need another place to eat. The problem I am having is that so many people love the restaurant, the food, and the the family, we may not get a place to sit next time we come. The best Mexican food I have ever had!!! Hands down! I have been eating out what is considered the best Mexican restaurant in the state of Kansas, my entire life, and I am so glad that I found this place after moving up here to Washington. We have tried a few other places, but nothing compares to this restaurant. The owner is wonderful, and the food is outstanding. The food was extremely fresh and you could taste it in every bite how fresh it was, and then the meat and vegetables are all hand selected by the Owner, this place deserves a try and for you to become their next regular

I am native of Los Angeles. If you know LA, we love our Mexican food. This little gem has some of the best food tasting Mexican food. It reminds me of home. Try the Birria tacos 🌮 they are the bomb.

This is just as much to the woman who I assume is the owner and her son as it is for any potential diner. Thank you!!! My wife and I are on a long road trip across North America and she specifically chose to stop here. She ordered the quesatacos - and they were awesome. Like. Awesome. Highly recommend. Then, I was driving and I couldn't eat the wet burrito so she made me a special regular burrito, wrapped it up PERFECTLY so I could eat it with one hand while I drove and it was enormous. I am 6'2", 210 pounds - the carnitas burrito was the size of my forearm. No joke. And freaking delicious. You were right, it was a perfect burrito!!! With legit the best hot sauce I have ever had PLUS what I think was like a jalapeno cream sauce? Both sauces were amazing. I saved the extras and put them on my breakfast the next day. You were both the nicest people and we wish you all the success in the world. Your burritos should be famous. Eat here, everyone, please. We 100% will be stopping in every time we come through here.

I would give all 3.5s if I could so I'm giving 4s because they are better than 3s. Good little restaurant, free chips and salsa starter, I would say authentic Mexican restaurant but I'm not a food connoisseur so not completely sure. Decent prices. I'll be back

This place is legit! Most authentic we’ve had since moving up from SoCal. Food was fresh, delicious and served in great portion sizes.

Tried this place, good authentic tacos 🌮. My daughter had beef fajitas and loved it. I had chicken fajitas, serving was a bit small sized but very tasty. My only complaint was they went heavy on the oil. Staff were lovely

The food and drinks here were really good. They make homemade tortillas, which is rare and valuable! There are quite a few menu options to choose from as well. So I don't regret eating here. But I wanted to warn other diners that eating in the restaurant is a kind of strange experience as of May 2023. When we walked in, it was kind of shockingly shambolic-looking. I'm used to eating in casual, local, somewhat dive-y places but this was another level. The booth seats were all completely worn through and most of the tables and chairs were pushed into a corner. It was like there were too many tables and chairs and they just shoved them in the corner, which made it so only a few tables were use-able. Oddly, all the booth seats were worn out but they had plenty of decent chairs they could have used, but none were in use (they were in the corner with the rest of the furniture). I wondered if they were remodeling but there was no indication that was the case. I almost wanted to leave, but I did a quick check and everything seemed very clean, so we stayed. The tabletops and floors were both very clean. Another strange area was the service. We were given a menu to order from but later we noticed there was a totally different menu board hanging up behind the counter with different options that weren't on the menu we were given. The server, who was fairly young, was kind of brusque at first but then she got friendly later after we ate, and told me it was a family owned business. But when she brought silverware and napkins, she only brought silverware for me. My husband said something to me after she left, so I asked her for silverware and she said he didn't need it! LOL! (He had ordered birria tacos but no sides.) She only brought it when I insisted and I felt a slight attitude about it like she thought I was being a Karen. I've literally never had that happen in a restaurant. That having been said, overall the service was prompt and we had no trouble getting anything else we needed. So maybe she is still learning to work in her family's business. I would definitely eat their food again. I'm not sure I would eat in the restaurant again, though, because it was kind of an odd experience. I would probably do takeout next time, and make sure to look at both menus! LOL! So it's kind of hard to choose how many stars to put on this review, but I just split the difference and did three stars.
