Delicious Puerto Rican flavor, I love it, thank you

Love it. This is my go-to place when in Florida.

God bless, to begin with those who serve are too rude, they should be removed. You ask about some food, and they look at you in the eye! It bothers me so much that I leave his food thrown away because it seems disrespectful to me to turn his eyes at you. Don't go if they treat you like that.

It's Spencer price now but the food is good really good , terrible, two young women who served me needed to learn communications, they were rude, they seemed Cuban. This time I regret having gone to buy food because the service was not the best AT ALL, thank you.

The food was too greasy. The alcapurrias were overcooked. They have a surcharge for 3.99 for paying with a credit card. To make things worse, they expect tips.

Very bad service. They seem caged, short-tempered. They don't serve you well.

This constipation used to be good several years ago but today I returned after several months without going and I found salty and cold dumplings inedible reheated or refried skewers the only good thing was the soda.

Food was great years ago .. there downfall was when they hired a staff that is basically all Venezuelians with attitude an the service just sucks place is filled with a bunch of undocumented Venezuelian girls that have a nasty attitude in both locations very arrogant an just a horrible customer service from Venezuela, plus the food is not the same an if you pay in cash they pocket The change they never give u the change an give u attitude if u ask for your change .

How sad to have to say this about my favorite place in Alcapurrias. The flavor of the meat alcapurria is terrible. The meat tasted horrible and to make matters worse they fried it with seafood. It's sad but I'm not going back, it was horrible. It seems like they are different owners.

Went all the way from Orlando to get my favorite food at my favorite place, little did I know I was about to run into a disappointment, the food was HORRIFIC!!!!! carne frita SUPER HARD couldn't even bite into the meat of how dry the meat was, the empanadas where so stale, from sitting under them lamps, the Tostones on the pinchos tasted oily stale, omg just horrific, and when I went to take my food back the women that took my order thats not Boriqua gave me an additude, she was so rude. Ugh!!!! And even the other food looked horrible. I'm so disappointed!!!!! We will never go back 07/19/2024 This place is so worth going to. The pinchos de pollo are the bomb🔥🔥😍😋😋😋 the alcapurias & pastellios good Lord Jesus. You won't regret it. Enjoy!!

I called to let them know my experience today, but they didn't answer and I decided to write. I am a frequent customer, although I don't know if I will return, and I make recommendations. He even sponsored the other restaurant on Vine St. I went today July 3, 6pm. The first in line. The display case with enough food. They attended to me immediately. Of the 4 things I ordered there were 3. It arrived at my house in less than 8 minutes. The cold, cold and mongas alcapurrias, with the flavor of old oil, had almost no meat and were surprisingly flavorless. It was halfway through that we came to feel the meat. The cod dipped in the same oil (it was strange), serious, I had to use several napkins to drain the oil. Besides cold....cold. Thank God I didn't ask for other things that I usually ask for in addition. Anyway.... it was a disastrous meal. We didn't finish eating it, it even caused a tummy ache. How awful...

Is a small place in a corner or cvs were u can obtain all Puertorrican picadero real good flavor is a place for a quick grab food excellent flavor!!

Alcapuria de Jueyes tasted like knor cunitos, the pizza one was empty, the shrimp one frozen inside the only thing that could be eaten was the cheese dog and the passion fruit juice, it's not made here like she said

I didn't like the food there. The jueye alcapuria was very salty and the meat one had almost no meat. For me it is a deception and they are not so friendly with people. I will not return to that place again.

The quality of food at the corner restaurant at el primo has really gone down. I bought two orders of rice, beans one with chicken the other with steak $35.00. I don’t mind to pay but when the rice is sticky to much water, the chicken is burn from the heat of the lights the steak tasted like liver is just not edible. Waste of money honestly the only thing I will purchase there will be their alcappuria but nothing else. Unless you go to El primo restaurant at vine I will advise to cook yourself will be the same amount but fresh.

Every since they got new staff the service has been horrible. I ordered my food 30 mins earlier before picking it up. When I get there they tell me the food isn’t ready, that there wasn’t any order done. I waited an extra 30 minutes just for my food to be done. They couldn’t even offer me a complimentary item for waiting so long. I showed them their own store number as proof that I called and spoke to somebody. The manager came out and told me there was nothing he could do about it. As a manager he should’ve done better.

They charge you a serving fee just to take your order!

Horrible food! The pizza dumplings were cold, I asked to change them and they said yes. I waited 20 minutes even though they didn't have a single customer and when I came back he told me 5 more minutes! A total lack of respect!

I went today like every Saturday and I don't think I'll be back. The Tostones were sweet, amazing and cold, The chicharron WAS almost burnt and the pastelillos were amazing, cold and sour. It's not like before. I think I'll look for ANOTHER hammock for my getaways with my husband.

The person who served me doesn't seem to get along with customers, you place the order and it seems like you're talking mean to her. I don't know what was in her mouth but it seemed like it was rubber bands or something. He wasn't listening to her and she kept talking the same way. The worst thing about the food is it's not the same as before. It's been a long time since there was no VAT and I drove with my family 45 minutes for this. Wow, how sad when they think they have names like that.

I came on vacation and my family and I decided to try this place. And I honestly give them 100%. The banana alcapurrias are super brutal. The dough is perfect, the meat is perfect and best of all, they are freshly fried. The alcapurria in the photo is the bisexual alcapurria, it is made from yucca and banana, it is also super delicious. I recommend this place 100% I recommend the lemonade 100%

The food is delicious, fresh, fast service, friendly staff & great prices! My favorite fry appetizer are delicious crunchy alcapurrias de carne y las empanadillas de camarones 🍤🤤 You must stop by if you are near Central Florida on vacation. They also have a Los Primos restaurant in Kissimmee, Fl family friendly dine in, and the food is even better!

Well, honestly, when I searched for it on Google I saw the photos and I was crazy. I arrived at the place and ordered Alcapurrias, pastelitos, bacalaitos, a plate of tostones and chicharrón, a mixed seafood salad, a juice of passion fruit soda and two nutella limber... the Alcapurrias and the cod. I had mongos and they tasted like raw dough. The seafood salad tasted like pure vinegar. The pastries were good but a little cold. The juice was good. The limber omg horrible. It seems like they make them with water. They are very bad and the most brutal thing is that for each fire I paid $2.50 each. one, I'm actually not coming back oh and to finish they packed everything in a bag and the seafood salad turned upside down and everything was full of vinegar and horrible oil

Horrible experience when ordering some pork rinds and realizing that they are re-fried and being Tuesday they must be from Sunday because they are closed on Mondays. Disgustingly disappointed and it's not the first time, I usually go there every week and it's not the first time that happens, anyway I told them to give me an alcapurria of banana and they will keep the remaining money. NOT RECOMMENDED, old food!

Waited for over 30 min on line to finally get to the lady taking order and she was rude like she i was a bother , to top it off I asked for alqapurias of carne and when I got in my car and left she gave me 4 of crab meat and I’m allergic to seafood and ended up getting hives all over my lip and my airway closed up and it was extremely cold food like it has been laying there since yesterday this is by far the worst place anyone can go to ,be very careful and make sure you get what you ordered, I threw out the food because I didn’t want to drive back and make a big show because I’m better then that but I’m sure one day they will slip again and might not be so lucky with the next customer , I will never come here again

We arrived very excited, we traveled an hour to get to the place, but when ordering the fries we were totally disappointed. Burnt alcapurrias and sorrullos the same.

BE AWARE!!!! Their calculations don’t add up plus… They ADD a tip for themselves without you knowing. AGREGAN TIPS sin que uno se de cuenta y por lo que veo de los otros reviews no soy la unica. I always go buy there and never say anything but today it was the end. Even if it’s a DOLLAR it is stealing and I wonder to how many people they are doing this to daily. Asi sea un DOLAR es un robo y me imagino a cuanta gente le hacen esto a diario. Always check your receipt in this establishment. Siempre chequeen sus recibos.

Food is really good !! Is always full. The line is always long, but it does move really fast. I got a couple of things for a party for a charcuterie board, and it was a hit. Everyone loved it, including me...

The food was.great. Except the sancochio was very vinegary. Everything else was.grwat. The people were.very nice.

They don't have a dedicated window for pick up so if you order ahead of time over the phone for pick up you still have to wait in line to get it. When I went, 3 elderly women were deciding what to order so I waited over 20 minutes to pick up the food that was in a bag already all this time. So the food was lukewarm by the time I got home to my family. Poor service, the servers look miserable, they don't even smile but expect a tip. There's plenty of parking but if people don't find parking close to the building they just double park in the front blocking traffic, they don't care and no one from Los Primos asks them to move on, especially trucks. There was a huge yellow Penske Truck right in front and people were honking the horn for him to move and the guy just stood there blocking traffic enjoying his food and ignoring them.

The can really get better with there customer service there’s barely anyone there that speaks proper English. Needs much more care outside it’s so dirty. Just a lot of work to be done. For a please that gets busy you would like they would invest in there restaurant.

Never judge a book by its cover. This is so very true for this eatery. It is a small place, no big fancy signs but if you are a local you know it's the place to be. There are so many yummy Hispanic staples. From tostones and carne frita (fried plantains and pork) to empanadas de pollo (empanadas of chicken). So grab the spouse and take a drive if you want authentic Hispanic food.

Food preparation has deteriorated. When the previous owner had it you could see the long line of diners, now you can see two or three people at most, indicative of what was previously stated.

The variety of the food is awesome hard to choose what to eat because everything looks good.

This is not good Authentic nor good Puertorican food. Not sure who's cooking there. 😏

Outdoor hole in the wall type place. Great tasting food. Price is excellent. The lady behind the counter reminds you of your mother.

First time here and to be honest the food taste good and the staff is super friendly and customer service oriented. The reason I’m giving a 3 stars is because the food took more than one hour to be served and it’s a little pricey compared to other restaurants in the area offering the same food. Overall the atmosphere is great and I recommend this place, but definitely they have to work on serving the food in a decent timely manner. Note: there’s a 2% service charge of paying with a credit card and 5 people or more, three is an automatic 18% service fee.

8/18/23 **Update: Today my husband and I were passing by and a young lady with short white hair not only forgot half of my order she charged us an additional $10 tip. My bank will be hearing about it, this is beyond unprofessional!! I will not be returning !!** My husband and I stopped for a couple of snacks. There was a line but the food was fresh and they were efficient.

I like the alcapurias however el chicharrón is a hit and missed sometimes is dry and no homemade hot sauce.

No se que le pasó pero pedí 1 de jueyes que estaba amargooo, el de camarón parecía que solo le habían echado sazón ni chispa de caldo nada de nada el de pizza lloraba de lo vacío que estaba. La alcapuria de yuca jueyes estaba buena.

Ni la carne, ni la masa del pastelillo tenían un sabor rico como para volver a comprar.. Y los chicharrones, demasiada seca la carne.. Y los limones secos..

Las chicas son amables, sin embargo al haber una sola que empaca y otras tomando las órdenes, se confunden y no hacen el pedido bien. Mi recomendación es que primero tomen la orden impriman el baucher y luego despachen para evitar confusiones

This place is a good place to stop by for a quick snack or meal. Hispanic food for cheap. Sometimes the food has been sitting at the window for a while and it could be stale but sometimes it's amazing. The drink options are great and varied as well. They have alot of food options. I would recommend if you want to try new hispanic foods, desserts and snacks.
