Plenty of seating and parking is limited.

Authentic Mexican cuisine with a diverse menu that will please. The flavors are savory and mouth popping. The tacos were fresh, well made and delicious. Prices are fair and portions are adequate. Service was friendly, fast and courteous. We will be coming back for sure!

This place is WONDERFUL.If you are not fully satisfied with this place then you need to go to Chipotle or Taco Bell maybe, cause this is the AUTHENTIC MEXICAN CUISINE. Enjoy.

One of my favorites for Mexian food. The food tastes authentic. The salsa roja is so good. The chips and salsa are good too. The portions could be better. The place is small but tables are spaced out enough that it doesn't feel cramped. It closes early so that's disappointing. Good service and clean.

I went three weeks ago and The Neck Tattooed Chef was the one who prepared my food and I can say that I loved it (him and the food 🫦) But they yelled so badly at him and at the waitresses that I couldn't even enjoy my dish 😥 However, I returned yesterday and ordered the same dish, but it didn't taste the same anymore, it was salty 😷 And the lady from last time, I thought she had a bad day but rather she has a bad life 😒

I'm reviewing three aspects of this restaurant, all good. First food: it was wonderful. We had burritos mojado with beef, which were great. Their house hot sauce, the red one, was fantastic. I don't speak more than a couple of dozen words in Spanish, but I told the waitress "La salsa roja es fuego!" Secondly, there's this. My wife forgot her purse there. The next day (today as I write this) I called about it. They had kept the purse under the counter. I got it back, with nothing missing. Third, the atmosphere. It's basic, but comfortable. Families go there. Old guys with beards go there. Good people go there. Mexican music can be heard, coming from the bar in the back. When you get good food, good service, and honest people, that's worth going back to. I will be back. Thank you "El Sabor De Mexico" !!

I went a few days ago and my meat was raw. There was also a woman who kept yelling at the workers. I expected more because of the score it has. Very bad experience.

We were a party of nine, and everyone loved their food. I had Carne Asada. A few of us ordered Chicken Fajitas served steaming and flavorful. The salsa and chips were excellent. Very quick and attentive servers.

Delicious 😋. Small, corner, neighborhood restaurant. Clean and comfortable. Big flavorful Mexican meals and delicious Aguas Frescas.

Food was really good. Owner n staff friendly and great service. Place is clean. As soon as table is emptied it is cleaned n the chairs. Filled again. Reasonably priced. Will go again.

Loved everything... I've been there 3 times so far. Great food and wonderful ladies that take good care of us. We went on a Sunday most recently and we were in a little bit of a rush. Trying to cram in too much in a day and barely had time to eat in between. But we had a craving for Good 🌮 Tacos. They made us happy. Obviously though... the best time to go is Taco Tuesday. Oh Yeah!

My husband went here and he ordered some tacos amazing they helped him out they told him what they had and they were amazing the tacos was delicious the only thing is it's kind of dangerous where their parking is the front parking because it's on Waters Avenue so if you can try to park on the side street that one's not as busy as Waters Avenue

This authentic Mexican restaurant was clean inside and had some very friendly workers, which made it a worthwhile stop. The cóctel de camarones was good- but not great. You do get chips and salsa for free and the agua de piña was really good. Not quite 5 stars, but a solid 4.

Awesome service ; excellent food

Great little place to get some Mexican food. Got the Fajitas (14.95) and they came out sizzling. The taco was nice and crunchy and the hot salsa was hot! Come check them out for a great meal.

Small Mexican place that we really enjoyed. Chorizo queso was excellent. Burrito Verde was awesome. Churro was fine. Waitress was great. Didn't catch her name but enjoyed her. She chased me out to return the sunglasses I left

Food was tasty and the person tacking my order was kind would have loved to try the specials but it was all in Spanish so I had to order a burrito because it was only thing I knew.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Down to earth and friendly staff. They go above and beyond to make your order exactly how you want it. The food is always delicious! They just added a bar area too.

Very cute little place with solid food and lots of specials. Service was friendly but too slow - seemed like paying at the counter was taking up a ton of waitress time. Ceviche was a standout. Bit more expensive than I’d expect for a simple place with straightforward dishes.

Servers we friendly and greeted us as we entered. The food was mediocre in flavor and partly cooked. The food presentation was good. It could have been due to rush hour. The salsa from the chips gave me acid reflux (I don't normally get this from other salsas).

Well, I found it, my new favorite neighborhood Mexican joint. This place ticks every box. They have clean indoor seating, great service, great prices, and of course the food is on point. Will be back many times, I have no doubt. 2 dollar tacos on Tuesdays!

We all did the taste of Mexico Platter between three of us and there was more than enough food. It was good and tasty. We live by route 54 in Lutz and we're're tired of packed restaurants and wait times, it was great to go to a restaurant with authentic food and a few empty tables.

Best Mexican food I have had in a restaurant! Taste like grandma made it. The Margaritas were sooo good! The pork in the green sauce was fire!!!! The service was great as well. We came in with a large party and they seated us so quickly. Stop thinking about it and go try it!!!

WOW! Just Wow! I have not had food this good in ages. Everything was just perfect. The chips and salsa were amazing and tasted so fresh. Hands down best queso blanco I’ve ever had. We had gorditas and enchiladas verde and I also had a margarita which was delicious. The Gordita bread is made in house and I’ve never had anything like it. Absolutely addictive. The meat inside the gorditas and the chicken in the enchiladas was so flavorful, everything was literally perfect. Even the rice and beans were so much better than even expected. I wish I was there right now. Can’t wait to try for breakfast!!!! It was so clean inside and everyone was very friendly. Family atmosphere. Very close to the zoo also; we will be back again and again. Just GO! Edit-Ordered takeout last night and took a picture of one of their Gorditas for this review. I was too excited by the food when I was there to take pictures. Incredible!

I love this restaurant, everything was delicious and authentic. Unfortunately I noticed the printed menus seemed to have at least a $1.00 discrepancy on each menu item. I wasn't sure how everything was adding up, I looked at my receipt and noticed the difference. I don't mean to complain, but accurate pricing would be appreciated.

We had a lovely breakfast at this new and quaint Mexican restaurant. The food is cooked with love and it shows in a very favorable way. We ordered red chilaquiles with steak, a tamale torta, and pork pozole. The food was amazing! Best part is their salsa which range from hot to mild. I am already ready to go back.

Great new place. Chilaquiles were great as was the pozole. We grabbed a torta de tamale as well to take with us. Highly recommend.

Small shop on waters. Blink and you'll drive past. I've seen it for months. Planned to stop and finally did. Nice 🌮🌯 Mexican food. My food was built just for me. I was the only customer in the place. Quick enough service.

I love me a good Mexican restaurant, as a google reviewer I travel a lot looking for the best comfort food and restaurants around town and this one set a statement. With its Mexican indoor decor to the music and THE FOOD. Deff a 10/10

Me and hubby were looking for a breakfast spot coming home from casino and came upon this place. Was informed by server they had been open for 6 months. She was very nice and polite. Chatted with us a bit about military. Husband ordered chicken tamale (yes, for breakfast!) and I had the pork tamale. They were delicious and came with a side of salad. Seasoned to perfection!! He also ordered the breakfast burrito which we had to pack to go because he was full off the tamale. I ordered two Barbaqua tacos, rice and beans that I had to box to go because I was full also (we ate the chips and salsa they provide when you’re seated). They have three different salsas and my favorite bottled hot sauce! They are still waiting for their alcohol license. We will definitely be back and possibly order delivery. Check them out!!! Those negative reviewers don’t know what they’re talking about and were just being nasty. That’s not how you give reviews.
