Well worth the 40 min drive! Food was fresh and delicious and the service was outstanding for our group of 7!!!!

This was an intimate fine dining experience second to none. Go to any highly rated, highly reviewed restaurant and you won’t have a better experience. Plan ahead for limited hours and highly specialized menus. Elements will not disappoint. Our son & daughter-in-law were comparing it to a restaurant they loved in Chicago. Each of us advance ordered our dinners and chose three different entrees. Our first course was fresh green salad with raspberry vinaigrette, pecans and dried cranberries. They grow their own raspberries and used them in the vinaigrette! An amazing Italian dip (secret recipe) was also served with the salad and included toast & crackers. I chose salmon with a house special sauce which was moist and tender and the veggie sides steamed to perfection. My daughter in law chose a seafood medley with steamed whitefish, scallops, crab cakes, and shrimp. My son chose beef medallions (fork tender) and scallops. We were all pleased. The excellent food, our gracious server Alicia, the restaurant ambiance, the peaceful countryside view through the expanse of windows, provided a complete evening experience. They’re open limited hours and it’s definitely not in the city, but this restaurant is worth the drive. Our hopes and expectations were exceeded.

I can't say enough of this gem. Exceptional hand crafted food, that appeared to be 'art on a plate'. Warm, friendly elegance situated in a picturesque setting a very unique venue . Our family & friends are always in awe of the experience. A must to call for reservation, as it is a small, popular somewhat secret, dining experience.

We really enjoyed the dinner we had. The little starter plate was so tasty. The ham and crackers really compliment the salad and I love beets so that was also great. I had the seafood trio plate. Shrimp perfectly cooked and the fish was also perfect. My favorite was the crabcake. So plump and moist. My wife had the chicken dish. Lots of moist crunchy chicken and the sauce was just perfect compliment. I loved the cheesecake for desert. The service is top notch. Never had ro wait for anything. The chef stopped by and we had a very nice conversation with him. We can't wait to go again. I cant belive I didn't take more pictures of the beautiful plates.

The best food you will find in West central Missouri. Great atmosphere and wonderful service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

No words!! Honestly cannot describe how amazing this place is... From the server opening the front door and welcoming us by name, to the chef sitting down at our table to hold general conversation and discuss our meal, to the food itself. Cannot say enough great things! Cannot wait to come back. From Kansas City, it is well worth the drive!

This is not your typical restaurant. Food and service are exceptional. It is wise to place your choices for entrees on-line beforehand. This is a true fine dining experience. It is not inexpensive, but it is definitely worth it!

Drove out to Camden from Liberty to try Elements and wow, it was amazing! If you’re from Kansas City and wanting to try a new restaurant that’s farm-to-table with amazing atmosphere this is your place. You order an entrée and an appetizer + dessert is also included. So delicious, wonderful service, 10/10 recommend.

My wife and I enjoyed our 18th wedding anniversary at this fantastic restaurant. Amazing service, attention to detail and food. The atmosphere is very intimate hospitable. Great option for those who want to get out of the city into something special.

Where to start....The inside has a great feel about it and the view is worth the drive to get there alone. The service was big time, always making sure we are enjoying ourselves and the food, they even gave me a signed Birthday card with real signatures how thoughtful is that. Now, the star of the show is the food, so delicious, cooked perfectly. The starter was just fresh and inviting and the main course of which I had was the beef and seafood tortellini was simply divine. The dessert was perfect with the right amount of sweetness. We will be back and bringing others with us. Thank you for a great dinner.

If you have not checked out Elements by Food Montage you are missing out! Each dinner includes a starter dish & dessert! Anything they can grow to serve, they do and they have a great little garden! The guys had surf and turf and the ladies had seafood augratin. Menu offerings change a bit each month so I'm excited to see the upcoming months!

We had dinner here last night and I cannot even begin to describe how amazing our dining experience was. My best description is that this isn't just eating dinner at a restaurant but honestly it is an experience. The food was perfect and the service can't be beat anywhere. The setting is perfectly nestled into the rolling hills of rural Ray county with an outside eating/gathering area that overlooks hundreds of acres of pristine farmland. We saw the valley come to life as the sunset as deer and other animals began their nightly routines. This will not be a one time visit type of dining experience. Thank you to the staff and especially the owner/chef who personally sat at our table with us as the evening was winding down and shared his story with us.

Wow - What a wonderful, go-back-to, date night experience Elements Destination Restaurant provided!! The food was excellent, the service superior, and the small restaurant ambience was a lovely change from typical loud, overcrowded KC restaurants. We will definitely be back!!

It’s been awhile since we dropped a review on Elements, so here it is. Great menu splendid service and cozy atmosphere. I was very happy that they recently got very high marks from Open Table. Encourage all to get out quit being scared any enjoy yourselves.

Is it possible to give TEN STARS!?!?! Diane and Kurt are phenomenal individuals with a to ‘die for’ space. Not only did Kurt greet us by literally opening the door but he came to speak to us once we received our meal. He is a genius behind the plate. Diane, handling all front of house duties offers you the most nurturing and friendly experience. These two combined are sensational. What an amazing experience.. it is 110% true, “you may arrive a stranger but leave a friend.”

we were 2 couples out for my wife's birthday dinner. Had a table on the deck with a wonderful view of Missouri farmland and woodland. the food and the service could not be any better. Crab cakes, chicken, beef medallions, all were impeccable.the veggies were mostly grown right there. I was going to ask for a steak knife then I realized I could cut the steak with my fork it was so tender. Thank you Diane, Alisha, and Kurt for helping make my wife's birthday such a special night!

... because the drive will be worth it. Sometime during dinner last night, Elements became my favorite new restaurant. IMHO there are three parts to the dining experience; the food, the service, and the ambiance. Elements nails all three. Nails them. First, the ambiance. It is a TINY little place. Six tables indoors with a few more available outside if the weather permits. It overlooks a small valley with woods beyond. Gorgeous view. I would imagine that when the leaves are turning in the fall it is spectacular. Every table looks out the windows, meaning there is no way you could possibly have a table you don't like. You don't have to make a special request, or know somebody, or have an in with the place. Your table is going to be the best in the house no matter which one it is. Next, the service. With so few tables it's like the staff is everywhere at once. Whatever you want, whatever you need, whatever you don't even know you need.... There it is. The chef is able to come out and chat if you'd like, and he is a gem of a person. Witty, knowledgeable. You'll love him. And the wait staff is like an extension of him. Everyone is upbeat. Everyone is glad you came. If the food was terrible, it would still be worth coming for the service and the view. But the food isn't terrible. Oh my, no. The food is unbelievable. The produce is all grown in the garden you can see from your table. Absolutely everything is made in house, even the crackers for goodness sake. Debbie's crab cakes were better than what we've had on the east coast. The remoulade was as good a sauce as you will ever taste. My steak medallions were perfect. Simple. Perfectly cooked. Fork tender. And even though they call them "medallions," what they really are is just a whole lot of beef. As painful as it was to do so, there was so much steak I had to leave a bite or two on the plate. Finish up with a desert of (homemade) spice cake with (homemade) fresh peach and caramel sauce, and you have one of the great meals you will ever enjoy. It is a place you must find. At the time I'm writing this there are 15 other reviews. Every single one of them is 5 star. Every. Single. One. Yours will be number 17 or so. If you think of yourself as a foodie, get there as fast as you can. It is simply marvelous.

My husband and I visited Elements this last weekend and had one of the best meals we have ever had. This hidden gem is tucked away in the hilltops near the MO river, in a beautiful quaint setting. The starter was delicious then we ordered the crab cakes and seafood au gratin, which were phenomenal. For dessert yellow cake with frozen mousse and strawberries from their garden...AMAZING! They have a great beer, wine and spirits selection. Staff was super friendly and love that the kitchen is open, so you can see them preparing your food right in front of you! The only thing I am disappointed about is that I didn't know about this place sooner! We will 100% be back and have already recommended to friend and family!

An unforgettable experience. The scenery is breathtaking and the food is absolutely amazing. My friend literally cut his steak with a SPOON!!! The staff was informative, the chef clearly knew what he was doing. Would highly recommend.

We drove out to this hidden gem on a Friday night. The food was excellent. I had a seafood trio and my wife had a steak. Both were very tasty and one of the best places we have tried. The prices were also very reasonable. It took a little time to get there, but it was so worth it. We will be back again, probably several times.

This is one of the finest restaurant you can go to at this time. Now it is a bit out of the way for some folks, but just get over that. Food and service is impeccable. Be sure to look up on the web site because it is not a walk in place. Need to pre order and get reservations in. Not open daily but check times.

Elements is one of the best places you will ever eat at. Go there and you will be treated to a wonderful meal from a lovely staff. Chef Kurt will probably even visit your table for a quick chat.

This is one or the best restaurants we have eaten at. It is the best restaurant in the Kansas City area. The attention to detail, the ingredients selected, and the personal touch were outstanding. i would recommend the crab cakes and lobster.

Quiet rural location, exceptional food

This is such a wonderful place! The food was delicious. I love that they even grow several things on site for ingredients. Our servers were friendly and we felt cared for but in no way rushed. We had the lobster tails and the beef with crab cakes as our entrees and both are highly recommend. I can’t wait to go back again soon.

Just returned from my birthday dinner at Elements. It was an outstanding experience! We both tried the four course menu; every single bite was delectable. First of all, you could not find better food prepared in a more professional manner anywhere in Kansas City. We loved the special New Years Eve menu which offered a variety of seafood, beef and chicken. Secondly, the setting is unique, offers a wonderful meal with a beautiful view and within a convenient drive from the KC area. I highly recommend it to anyone at anytime. Elements offers a fun adventure and an excellent dining experience.

Great place for a great dinner.

I gathered a group of my friends to meet at this restaurant for my birthday. I love the relaxed and secluded atmosphere of dining here. One of my friends even got lost and the waitress helped direct her here. The meals are served in four courses and you choose your entree. I’ve been here twice and the menu seems to vary by what is in season. It was around Marci Gras so some of the entrees were Cajun. The restaurant overlooks the Missouri River. I’ll have to return when it is light outside, because so far it’s been too dark to see the view. I was able to make a reservation online, but I had to cancel and reschedule. They were very understanding and helpful. It was so much fun celebrating here with my friends. Blowing out yet another candle for the pile of years that makes up my age. I would love to dine here again. It’s great for dates and special occasions without the hassle of city parking or traffic. If you want an adventure and to try something new you should absolutely check out the Elements.

The concept of Elements is genius - many delicious tastes, service that doesn't miss a SINGLE beat, not rushed in and out so you actually can sit and enjoy one another, yet never waiting on the next course to come out. Devine food (beef melts in your mouth!), exceptional service, we will be back.

Had dinner last night, talk bout knocking it out of the Park, Chef Kurt did! We didn't order, instead we asked him to surprise us and he did big time. From the first course to the main course it was bursting with flavor. This guy knows how to cook! We've eaten lot of fancy places but can't remember when we had a meal that delivered so many perks of the taste buds. It's a must go!

I tend to seek out restaurants that are off the beaten path and offer not only a good meal but provide an experience. Elements Restaurant did not disappoint. We visited for my mothers 80th birthday. There were four of us. We had a late start so we had to call to extend our reservation time. They graciously accommodated this. Three of us had the fixed menu and my dad had ala carte. I had the seafood medley and the others had the steak medallions. Both were excellently prepared and flavorful. The chocolate cake was delicious and served with a candle. The wine and beer selection was good. The service and view alone were worth the drive. We were lucky enough to be there to view a beautiful lightning storm through the ample windows. My dad tends to talk and tell stories. Keith, the chef and owner was very patient and considerate with him. My family, friends and I will definitely be visiting again. We may even make an overnight out of it by renting the guest house available within walking distance. This was the perfect place for a celebration but priced reasonably so you could enjoy it anytime. We are so happy we found this gem!

Please, please, please visit here. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. We were greeted warmly at the door and seated immediately. We opted for the four course fixed menu. Cheese plate was good and salad was decent. Every time we finished a course, our plates were removed immediately and we were served the next course. We didn't feel rushed, they were just that attentive. Entree was delicious. I had the seafood medley with whitefish, lobster and crab cake (wow) and my husband had the stuffed whitefish. Both were excellent with ample portions. Dessert was a small fruit shortcake with fresh (from the owner's garden) strawberries. The chef came twice to our table to ask about our meal. Very genuine person, interested in providing a great experience. This is a very small restaurant. Only 25-30 seats, so you will need a reservation. Open air kitchen so you can watch the chef prepare everything. Small stat, but intimately attentive and friendly. I truly enjoyed this experience and will recommend to everyone.
