Great little seafood restaurant that serves fresh seafood

Hot hot was hot inside, shrimp was ok, and catfish was slimy inside, which appeared it's not fresh, just a frozen precoated patty deep fried. I tried it, and I don't have big expectations if you're a "Seafood" restaurant. How hard is it to coat a fry fish rather than deep fry some frozen pre-made. Just not for me, real shame local place.

This was our second time here. We came back due to the fact it was very good last time. It reminds me of a country style seafood joint. Food this time was very good. Service could have been a little better but overall it was a great experience.

We were driving through town and stopped here. We got here 20 minutes before they opened, the parking lot was empty. Once we were seated, the small establishment became packed! Their ribeye steak is confidently the best ribeye i have ever had. Everything was fresh and the employees were wonderful. Sorry no photos-we devoured everything quickly. Highly recommend!

I am only doing one star because I am not able to give less! Such rude service!!! We are from out of town and heard their seafood was the best, we were met with attitude and rudeness talking down to us. “We aren’t open for dining in, the sign is outside. We never serve this early. Look at the sign!” Great way to treat customers. Do Not Go Here!!!

Food was excellent. Hot crab dip was delicious. 2 of our 4 orders came out with the wrong sides, so have to ding them on that. We were sat right in front of the door when there were other seats available - that spot should be for last available seating.

The friend shrimp okra and hushpuupies were so good!!! My husband got the black fish and it was great also!!!

I ride past this establishment almost daily and never thought to go in for my crayfish, didn't make it home before digging in the bag. Great first experience, nice big juicy crawfish and well seasoned. The owners were super kind to me, I will be back.

Raw oysters were the right size, good flavor and had been properly chilled. Cup of gumbo was excellent good flavor and plenty spicy and warm from the kitchen. Bee was ice cold The price was right as well and the server was the best

Arrived early and good to do so as the restaurant filled quickly. Super fresh seafood, great friendly service, great food.

Went to eat there with our Disabled Mom. Was told no reservations, but yet there was a table reserved. Got there early before crowd and ended up being last ones served. It took an hour to get our food after 6 or 7 group of customers had come in, they were getting food way before us. The one lady with long black hair was rude. We will not be going back.

My favorite seafood restaurant. Worth the drive from Alabama, and never had a meal that wasn't wonderful. Highly recommend!

Excellent fresh fish in a friendly atmosphere. Consistently good food and service. The best tuna dip in the panhandle. This isn't fancy food but it is good fresh food cooked perfectly.

Absolutely worst customer service I have ever seen. I don't know what the black haired lady problem is, but she should not be allowed in front of people!!!

This is the shrimp and scallop restaurant of our dreams. The shrimp were perfectly breaded and fried. They were juicy and tender. Same with the scallops according to my husband. The coleslaw was delicious. The dressing was homemade, not the bottle dressing or pre-made from Sysco. Hushpuppies, excellent. Wish we could take this restaurant back home with us.

I drove 3 hours to eat here and always get the smoked tuna dip and it is worth every mile! This is the best place to eat in Crestview I recommend to come in and check it out! You will be happy you did.

Great fish market. Not too big, not too small. I love being able to find amberjack here. Friendly and attentive staff. We haven't ate at the restaurant side yet but we definitely want to. Parking is the only issue we have found here.

We eat here regularly and we get fried shrimp basket all the time. Very consistent - always comes out hot and shrimp cooked perfectly. This is a feat many restaurants struggle to do. Will have to try something different one day. We have had the chowders and smoked fish dip which both were great too.

Fresh bag of oysters that I carried to my family in Atlanta were absolutely amazing! They were washed so the mess was minimal and they were plenty salty and were enjoyed tremendously.

waited 45 min for our food; the seafood dinners were so overcooked; yes they gave us discount and offered to redo our meals, but as a diabetic I could not wait another minute to eat. We've been there in the past and the food was awesome. We took our out of town guests after telling them how great the food was.

Fast and friendly service and excellent seafood. Had blackened shrimp, twice baked potatoes, fresh fried okra, and a warm chocolate brownie a la mode, all to die for. Totally recommend this little local place.

$$$ 40 for lunch, pricey. They have a daily lunch special. We started with the smoked tuna dip. It was good. I had the shrimp tacos with hush puppies. The cole slaw was a bit watery, which made the flour tortilla soggy. The shrimp were fried and tasty. I ended up eating the shrimp, 3 on each taco. The dining room is small, and at 11 a.m. it was busy for lunch. The service was excellent she was friendly. I will probably go back for the fried white fish, which is what everyone else was ordering. After lunch, I went to the fresh seafood area and got oysters and crab meat. They were good in the gumbo I made the next day. There was a good selection of fresh fish on ice.

Food and service are great! It's kinda small and not upscale at all, but if you after good food and service I don't think that you will be disappointed! Steak and Seafood are both very good!

I ordered the tuna dip for the first time here. I have to say, the amount of dip was small compared to the price I paid. From my hometown of Port St. Joe, I received twice the amount for $5 less. Also, there was no heat, and it had a little too much liquid smoke. If you could work on put some spices to add a lil heat and add to the portion size, and please reduce the amount of liquid smoke, you would have a weekly customer out of me. As of now, I wouldn’t order this again. Quantity for value is a big seller.

Food was excellent as was the service. If they have grouper fingers I recommend getting it.

The food is OK. The service is great! Although I never got a warm, fuzzy, feeling from the owner with the long dark hair, I went there for a couple years. Went today thought I was helping the owner clean off the table and she rudely yelled at me for cleaning off the table. I will never go back here again.

Great fresh seafood and service

This is a small mom-and-pop place with the most amazing seafood. The decor is a bit kitschy but in a way that makes you want to sit back and enjoy. My fish was cooked to perfection and the waitress was attentive and very personable. Will definitely stop in again when in town!

Had a great lunch with a friend I hadn't seen in years while visiting from out of state. The pretty waitress was very nice and we got our food quickly. I had the "grouper fingers" special and they were great with the tartar sauce. The fries were fresh and unique. The cold beer was a great retreat from the heat wave outside. Thank you for the great meal and I hope to see you again one day sooner than later!

Hit us at a perfect time. They had delicious hot shrimp just when we needed it. The waitresses were cheerful and quick. The food was great.

Saw this place on google maps looking for a seafood restaurant when a friend came into town. We ate here 2 days in a row. Food is phenomenal for a small restaurant. I was not expecting this to be this good. I had the gulf shrimp and he had the special fish dish. Food came out piping hot and serving size was perfect. I moved here to the area in January and this will be my go to seafood place.

Busy little place with good seafood, cozy dining area, and take out. There are not alot of tables so call ahead and see if they take reservations or order ahead and take it with you.

My oldest is 12 and he asked me to leave this review for him. He says “the cheeseburger, fries, sweet tea and fried pickles are delicious! 5 stars from me” It was a really nice meal.

Calamari was good. Clam chowder was somewhat sauer, salad lacked vegetables and service was mediocre. Started out with blue cheese dressing, adked for more at was served ranch. The Calamari was served first, followed by salad, then soup. A little backwards in my opinion.

We were passing through for the night and tried Emerald Isle because of their fantastic reviews. We really liked the restaurant. The service and food was great. The snapper and grouper were both fresh and grilled to perfection. The kids spaghetti and garlic bread was a big hit with our toddler. Honestly the only negative thing we can say (at no fault to the restaurant) was that some of the local clientele were surprisingly hostile. The table next to us spent their entire meal glaring/loudly talking nonsense about our family. No idea why, but maybe don't expect a friendly atmosphere if you're not a local 😬

Ordered the Cajun pasta and the blackened chicken pasta. Both were amazing. The Cajun was the best in my opinion. However the service was very slow. It took 20 minutes longer than the time they told me it would take to pick up a to go order. And I didn't see any reason for the delay, but the food more than made up for it. Both made fabulous leftovers as well. Would definitely order from here again.

I ordered the Popcorn shrimp dinner with cheese grits and seafood gumbo. I loved my selection of sides with the shrimp! It was amazing! I was really in the mood for shrimp and grits and the gumbo pared with it perfectly. My boyfriend got the shrimp po boy sandwich and he loved his meal. I would recommend.

The red curly haired kid at the podium sat us at a dirty table FULL of dishes. It should have been bussed BEFORE he sat us there. This kid doesn't belong in a restaurant. Then he did the same thing to a family of five sitting near our table. To make matters worse our server wasn't good at all, the night went downhill. When the food took forever to come out it was just warm, not hot, so very unappealing. We've ALWAYS loved this place and were truly thrilled when the new owner came in over 10? years ago? Everything is usually great here and we love the food. This night was so bad we just haven't had the heart to go back. I know places are understaffed but the kid that sat us should have stepped up and cleared those tables off before sitting ANY customers. The manager was there, running around like crazy helping customers and never stopped by, so I knew it was busy.

Charging to use a credit card without asking if we would like to pay cash is a shady business practice. I did not enjoy my food, but my dinner companion did. Service was beyond slow, however they were quite busy.

Very good local restaurant. Lunch was excellent. The grouper sandwiches (one fried and one grilled) were delicious as was the gumbo. Service provided by Gracie was excellent as well. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning.

Had a great Valentine's Day meal. Fresh seafood always cooked hot and fresh with great service and very fair prices. A hidden gem without crazy tourist traffic like decent seafood places in Destin.

I absolutely love this place! The seafood is fresh and good quality and the customer service is always great! I sat down in the restaurant side to eat for the first time yesterday and the food was delicious. The kitchen is visible from the seafood area and it was immaculate.

Crowded, service was ok, but one large table took all kitchen staff to prepare. Our food took way too long and order was wrong. Server offered yo replace, but after almost an hour we refused. No discount for the issue. Wouldn't recommend. Go elsewhere.

It's very little pricey for what it is. Nothing special, and the batter on the fried gulf shrimp and popcorn shrimp was wildly salty. Plus, they upcharge $2.25 to get a small salad as a side. Quoting supply chain issues. That's more than a head of lettuce. I have lived in Crestview for 10 years now, and this was the first/last time going. I'm told it used to be better...

The mullet I had was not fresh and was fried in mor flour than cornmeal. There is a fresh seafood market inside this restaraunt, which I have never understood. Food use to be really fresh and properly cooked. What happened? Service was good. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.

I can't say enough about the food as well as the hospitality that me and my wife received from this place. Very friendly and helpful. The service was exceptional. We would recommend this place to anyone. You want be disappointed!!!! If we are ever back in town we will definitely be coming back to Imperial Isle Seafood!!!!

After living in the #1 seaport New Bedford MA I'm still adjusting to what is served as seafood here! There's a big difference in how it's prepared and what is being served. The calamari rings I ordered were fried to my liking and I asked for tartar sauce instead of the red sauce offered, fries were tasty and crisp. The advertised menu is out of date indicating a calamari plate and only as an appetizer no fries so I share my lunch partners!

We had a great meal and a mostly new very nice staff. This restaurant is more of a locals place that we love to go to for some great seafood food. This isn't microwaved processed food. Patrick and his staff prepares all of his menu items on site.

We went to EI on a recommendation from a friend, and wow, are we glad we did! I don't eat tuna fish, but my husband ordered the smoked tuna dip. I tried it and it was absolutely delicious! It tasted so much better than I imagined it would. I had steak and grilled shrimp and my husband had a smorgasbord of seafood...shrimp, scallops, etc. It was all completely delicious. The food was seasoned perfectly and there wasn't a boring bite to be had. We will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys seafood. Oh, and the cheesecake and bread pudding were enough by themselves for a repeat visit!

Scrumptious grilled shrimp, crab cakes, blackeyed peas, Gouda cheesy grits, fries, slaw, and the best hushpuppies we’d ever eaten made for a very satisfying meal. Service was great, too.

Okay, so it was great, but there were a couple things I could see improvements on. Like I said, it was great. I had the shrimp and scallop marinara. That was good. On the soupy side but good The garlic? Bread?. I’m not sure if it was garlic bread or not, in the kindest way. The bread was probably a 6, I tasted mainly fish. But I mean how do you avoid that? You can’t, so I’ll give them an 8 on bread. The Gouda cheese grits. Had a really strange taste, I’d probably give them a 5 in cheese grits. My wife had the blackened chicken penne and it was fantastic. And the hush puppies are 10\10 Overall: really good place and I’ve had their legit seafood before and it’s absolutely amazing. Ima say a 8.2 total
