omg skip all the trendy expensive falafel spots in LA and be a Falafel Queeeeeen!!! It’s so fresh and delicious and affordable. They make and fry the falafel right in front of you. I will drive 30 mins just to get this deliciousness — and also walk across the street to shop at Zoe’s Vintique for the best fits in LA. 10/10 all around. I love this lil block.

Decent Mediterranean food, but nothing to get excited about. The best part was the service. A very capable, speedy, and polite man served from behind the counter. The atmosphere is cheaply thrown together and looks a bit shoddy.

The food was not overly greasy. The ingredients were fresh. The portion was good. Totally satisfied.

The falafel was so juicy. One of the best falafels in LA. The salads are delicious. I loved that you can order for under 15$ a falafel plate with 5 salads of your choice. Unlike everywhere else that all you get is some fries or rice boring salad. The 3 type of eggplant salad delicious the tahini & humus on point. Even the olives, pickles were delicious. & costumer service was sooo friendly & welcoming. Great experience for my soul & for my tummy. Don’t walk there, RUN.

I have finally found the falafel sandwich of my youth, reincarnated and dare I say, improved at Falafel Queen. The actual falafels taste just like the perfectly fried fritters that Westwood’s legendary Falafel King produced and yes they have the chips and pickled turnips too.The pita is thin but not too thin. The lettuce fresh and crunchy. Thank you Benito for giving me back one of my favorite food memories and continuing the royal tradition. Can’t wait to visit your second location when it opens in El Segundo!

Walked into it randomly one day and it turned out to be the best falafel place in the area. The chef made fresh falafels for us, and also gave extra portions with very crispy potato chips. if you want a nice take out order for falafels, here’s where you should go!

Worst Falafel ever. Lots of lettuce and 2 small patties. Gyro, lettuce tiny bit of meat. The Gyro meat was not carved but heated up. The meat did not taste right. Nice people, but extremely disappointing. Publix falafel is 3 times the size and less money. Also skimpy with the taziki sauce.

Won't be back. We love Mediterranean food and order it at least weekly. The place does not look clean. It needs updating desperately. Good thing I didn't see the woman with a large bag of frozen fries to cook until we were leaving. The young man was swinging the cleaning rag around and drops of dirty water kept hitting me. My veg mezze platter was fine, but my husband's spinach pie was like cardboard. The chicken dishes were just odd, but not one of the four of us got sick. One woman, perhaps the owner, was friendly. The others, presumably family members, were not. Why are other reviews so positive? I cannot fathom.

Great, just great. The fellafel gyro and chicken kabob were amazing. This guy made my sandwiches right in front of me, good conversation 👌 made it to go because i had to work. Good prices. He is the closest to my house. I recommend Give him a try .

I've been to this place twice and have had both the chicken shawarma sandwich and the falafel sandwich. Both are EXCELLENT! Can't recommend this place enough.

Been continuing my shawarma tour in the city and came upon this little gem on Pico. This shawarma plate comes with salad and two sides. I got hummus which was SPOT ON - super creamy and really tasty and the baba ganoush - fresh and yummy! I dipped my pita bread in each of them and 👨‍🍳💋*chef’s kiss* The chicken was seasoned well as well as the rice. I also liked the two potato chips that came along with my plate. Definitely am coming back, especially since Falafel Queen is in my neighborhood.

100% stick to the falafel here. Super crispy on the outside, moist, fluffy and extremely aromatic on the inside. I think they use a different spice/herb mix compared to most Middle Eastern places. I highly recommend the Falafel Sandwich. It's a pita pocket that is loaded with falafels fresh out of the fryer, stuffed with mixed salad and dressed with tahini. Ask for the hot sauce, but beware - it's pretty spicy. Cons: it's a bit expensive. Around $12.50 for a falafel sandwich. Also, the atmosphere is almost non-existent, but there are tables where you can sit and eat.

Why you didn’t mentioned that you’re in vacation on the website that’s not okay. We went an hour early and we found a message at the front door closed for vacation.

I heard that someone who used to work at Falafel King opened this place so it has to be good! I will trek there soon from the valley, I can't wait!!!

Every time i go here i am provided great service and great food. Their falafel wrap is my favorite item in the menu which i highly recommend. Speaking of falafel, they make the best I’ve ever tried!

While neighborhood is adjacent to Beverly Hills the neighborhood is a bit sketchy with people loitering around mid-day. I ordered a Chicken Kabob with Falafels as a side. The chicken was good, the sides ok (Hummus & Salad). The Falafels were fantastic. Next time I'll order a Falafel sandwich to go.

It's a small, cozy place. I always pick up or order delivery. One of the best falafels in the area, always fresh. My wife is vegan and loves it too.

Really good falafel are hard to come by. This place gets it right. The falafel and hummus sandwich was great. I also got a side order of baba ganoush.

recommend ordering in person for more customization... the cashier is the owner... he's really nice and friendly. He'll sometimes hook you up. The food is pretty good... I usually order half rice + salad with tomato cucumber salad and humus, taziki, pickled turnip/pickle with a pita bread. He has hot sauce available too.

An order of 65 pounds just gone to the bin because the salad ( burgul salad) smells and taste off . Not recommended to risk your time and money for when the chefs are lazy to check their miss on place if is good to be served.

First of all the owner or the guy that waited on us was sooo generous and kind when taking our order. Giving us samples of things that weren’t even part of the order. You literally feel like family coming in here. I’m from out of state so imagine the good impression that is! The food is amazinggggggggg. So delicious!! Please frequent this place!

First time here. Got the lamb shawarma and the falafel sandwiches. Everything was beyond excellent! The falafel is made right in front of you. The pitas are spread with hummus and then stuffed with the meat or falafel and then topped with a lettuce mix, a marinated salad, and then tahini sauce. Excellent! Also got sides of their eggplant dishes. Also brilliant! Benito the owner is very personable. Restaurant is scrupulously clean. Will return!

My wife saw this restaurant on trip advisor, we had cravings of Homoos and shawarma and thus place pop up all the way from Daytona Beach area. So we gave it a chance. We had Shawarma and Homoos and it was worth the 🚗. Service was very 👍, Clean and a chick feel kind of a restaurant and they prepare food right there while you wait

Delicious place. Highly recommend it. I've been driving by for a year planning on stopping in but never having time. Stop by today for the first time and absolutely was blown away. Best falafel since Israel! The shawarma was amazing as well. The baba ganoush and first time I've tried eggplant and yogurt with onion which was crazy and delicious.

Benito is the King of Falafel Queen. Let him take care of you. The Falafel is fantastic, the lamb shawarma is also really good. So great to have this in the neighborhood! I'll be back for more soon.

Best and cheapest falafel you can find in Mid-City! I come here weekly. Kind and friendly staff knows my order when I call up. Fresh and healthy plates and sandwiches for unbeatable prices. I’ve been to every Mediterranean place in the area and no other has this quality taste and freshness for such a low asking price. Inside ambiance leaves much to be desired, but no one is dining in these days anyhow.

A nice surprise find. Stopped in on a whim after seeing a line passing the week before. Falafel was amazing, one of the best I've had. Maybe it was because the first bite was piping hot and I was standing in some of that illegal quarantine sunshine. Good flavor, well cooked, generous 5 for the price Shawarma plate - great flavor, good texture. The meat on top of the salad made it difficult to eat but it was so good, I didn't care that much in the end. Sides - I am a huge fan of baba ganoush - I couldn't eat this. Wife and I both thought it tasted 'off' and left 90% of it untouched. Spicy eggplant was VERY flavorful but neither hot nor spicy. Rice was ok. Pita - open a bag and put it in another bag. It wasn't fresh or pliable, more like a pita cracker Overall I was impressed and will eat here again.

We tried to go to a different restaurant, but it was closed on Tuesdays. Took a chance with Falafel Queen and am so glad we did! The food was excellent and much cheaper than where we were planning to go, and the owners are well versed in providing vegan options. The owners are amazing, very friendly and have great stories to tell. The restaurant is small and no-frills, but the food and company are outstanding!

Service was great, my wife had the Lamb Shawarma and she liked it. I had the hummus plate, unfortunately the hummus need improvement. The Falafel was ok.

Had to try this place. Decided I would walk there after work today. Wow...I'm glad I did. Super fresh and super healthy. Exactly what i need in my weekly rotation. Very nice employees...Benito gave me good suggestions and Soledad as well. Had the kabob and tried chicken and beef with greek salad. INCREDIBLE!! Beef ridiculous...so yummy. Just happy there a good place to help me control my carbs/sugar. I will become a regular.

Stopped by on a whim. The friendly staff let me try a few things. I loved my meal. The schwarma was delicious, as were the fresh falafel, baba ghanoush, and spicy eggplant. Dolmas not my style though. I'll definitely be back. YUM!

The best falafel in Mid city Los Angeles, fast service and super delicious food, I loved how they offer fresh salads, not to mention the delicious Falafel, the pitta and the lamb u gotta try the lamb. Good price for great food, this will be my falafel joint from now on.

So glad to have a solid middle eastern restaurant in the neighborhood! I went in for the first time the other day and was warmly welcomed by owners Benito and Ariana. I ordered a falafel sandwich and shawarma pita. Both were delicious and at a great price point. The falafel was super tender and fried to order. The pita could have been better but a great experience overall for a small neighborhood quick bite.

This is the best food my husband & I had while visiting St Augustine. He is from Egypt & said this is the first authentic tasty shawarma he's had while in America. I enjoyed the kafta & kabob combo. You must give this place a try.

Had a kafta platter, a falafel wrap and 2 sodas. $20.50. The platter was ample. Kafta was burned, too salty, but otherwise pretty good. Served over rice with some onions and squash and tomatoes. The hummus was good. The garlic(?) side was strange and not needed. The falafel wrap was pretty good. Only diet soda in the cooler. Regular soda was on the floor still in cartons and not refrigerated. Very strange. No icemaker, so couldn't have non-diet.

The food at this small family run restaurant is incredibly tasty, super fresh, plentiful, and affordable. The lamb and beef gyro is mouth watering with a nice charred wrap , hummus is some of the best I've ever had, baba ghanoush is silky and wonderful, grape leaves are so good, and my husband couldn't say enough about his kafta dish. It was a great experience eating here and meeting the Queen and her lovely family. Make sure you stop in, you won't regret it.

The food was great. Falafel comes with green olives so next time I would have them skip that. The hummus is homemade and serves plenty for two. It’s a small place only five or so small tables.

I have been eating here since they opened. Great personal service and she will also make the food exactly the way you like it! We have tried practically everything on the menu! Ingredients are always fresh! I have turned on so many people to this place who were afraid to try Middle Eastern Food! They are always impressed!
