Me and my mom went here today and it’s a five star restaurant. It was so good.

Amazing sushi and Thai we are never disappointed.

Good spot to pop out for lunch during work. Friendly staff. They drop a free sample roll on the table as soon as you are seated. Fast service.

It's one of my most favorite places to eat. My family and I eat here almost every week. Everything is delicious and fresh. We feel like a part of the family when we are here. Sushi is amazing, and all the hot plates are prepared nearly perfectly every time I have eaten here.

I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with my order today. The fried rice and shrimp do not taste good at all. I do not recommend ordering this. I tried to request a refund through Uber Eats, but it was not possible. Very disappointed.

I am totally addicted to the King Kong roll! (Tempura shrimp) It is not on their regular menu but is always on their specials board. And thankfully so! I always order it with the soy wrap instead of seaweed wrap because I do not like seaweed. So don’t be afraid to ask for special requests…they are happy to accommodate!

Fancy Q on the Southside doesn't have the same vibe as the Northside, otherwise it would be 5 stars

1st Time here and very nice and service is very good and I surely will be back and food is delicious

First time visiting here and it won't be the last. Once we were seated we were greeted with soup and tempura crab with yum-yum and eel sauce. Red curry chicken and dinner sushi box were the choices and they did not let us down. The sushi was made to order, the curry was creamy and delicious, overall it was a great experience and a great dinner choice. The restaurant itself is a little small but they definitely deserve a lot of business.

Such a great, quick experience. Had sushi and it was fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. Service was amazing, as well. Will definitely be back.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem on a Saturday evening, from the start service was amazing. Food was fresh and very delicious. Will be back! 10/10 recommend!

I love this place in Lakeland. Quality sushi with a great environment and great prices. Fancy Q has great options other than sushi as well such as Pad Thai. I went here with my girlfriend for a little date and we had a great time. It was quiet and peaceful and allowed us to have good conversation. Will definitely be back for some great grub! Thank you!

We came in this establishment for the first time today! Always wanted to! As soon as we entered, we were greeted and seated promptly. We were given menus and appetizers on the house!! They were so tasty!! We ordered our food and it came out promptly as well!! Every step of the way the staff was polite, prompt and efficient. I recommend this place if sushi and Thai food is your thing. Even more so, if you like to be treated like royalty!

Online ordering is so time efficient and the sushi is great. The best rolls I tried are Phoenix roll, Sweetheart roll. Each roll is about 15-16$ each.

I had a Great visit, 1st time, and the Service Staff was very polite and professional!

My friend and I walked in for lunch and were immediately met with a cold look from a young lady with glasses on. No smile. No greeting. We were sat immediately and she gave us something we hadn’t even ordered. She told us it was “on the house.” After our orders were taken she would stand in the back OR the host area and just watch us eat and talk. A family of six came in and she was very nice with them! We still tipped and enjoy our time together despite the weird ogling. If you’re anything darker than the color white don’t come here lol

We have been ordering from and dining in this restaurant since they opened. The service is great, as is the food. We always get the crab Rangoon, spring rolls and most times a variety of rolls. My favorite is the yellow curry with vegetables and shrimp. You get lots of veggies in a delicious full fat coconut milk base with just a touch of heat with shrimp cooked perfect every time. My favorite comfort food. It’s enough for 2 or 3 meals. Will keep ordering and dining in here!!

We stopped by for lunch and had a great meal. We picked the afternoon before 3 pm when it was slightly less busy. Stop by here to try lunch or dinner for yourself!

Sushi was outstanding. Gonna come here again from Tampa where we live. Excellent!

Pad Thai is very good would recommend the only comment is I think the clear soup could be better the flavor on it is a little more bland then some other places I have been to but I’m not here to rate them in their soup overall I’ll come back again for the pad Thai

The food is so good. And the give you soup sushi and a salad as a starter for free. I had the Thai chicken. The chicken was very moist and the flavors are so yummy. I cannot tell you how good. Also, it came with all the accessories a lot of times when it takes food at times don’t have accessories the blah blah and other things, the lime or whatever and everything to top it off the Yum Yum sauce is on the table and is so good Yes you have to experience it yourself and the staff is amazingly kind❤️❤️❤️

It's a great lunch place. Soup and an appetizer on the house with any group of 2 or more is unmatched. Reasonable prices for either sushi or hibachi options. Good pad Thai.

Um, the "Eddie Special" is absolutely delicious. Holy moly! Life changing. Order this immediately, and more than one because you won't want to share. We also had the delicious yellow curry. I don't live locally but wish I did after trying Fancy Q's food! It was also very fresh and thoughtfully packed for delivery by uber eats. I'm so happy. 💝 Only one request: please offer a dairy free thai milk tea if you can, for us lactose intolerant folks.

I was lost and walked into a warm welcome. I realized this was what my hungry mind was looking for.

My husband and I live in a small town with one sushi place. We were in Lakeland for the day and wanted some good sushi. We went with Fancy Q as it had the highest ratings and for good reason. The sushi and pad Thai were exceptional and the staff were kind and attentive. I highly recommend. We will definitely pay another visit when in Lakeland again.

Excellent food. Service and atmosphere left something to be desired, but the overall experience was good enough to recommend. The food more than makes up for its shortcomings and the price was well under what you'd pay in similar restaurants with less care in their taste or service. I'd recommend not dining in the restaurant during rush hour. The amount of people that were going in and out was staggering and it took a while just to get a seat because the service was swamped with customers and orders.

This is my all-time favorite restaurant. Their crab rangoons and spring rolls are amazing. The staff is incredibly sweet and friendly. They prepare the food quickly, but it’s always so good! The inside is very cozy and cool. Highly recommend the sushi, as I’ve never had a bad roll from here. When you order through GrubHub with an order over $30, they give you a free “Eddie Roll”, which is krab tempura with eel sauce and yum yum sauce. It is to die for!! Love this place and honestly, I could eat it every day!!

Always a good experience. The food is too notch and the sushi is delicious. The scallop and steak hibachi is a good choice if you aren't in the mood for sushi. Big scallops (tender as well!) Delicious steak! The curry is fantastic as well!

The food here was delicious. When you get there they give you a complementary small dish which was really good. Service was prompt. The server was also very nice and attentive. Would go again.

I've been here a handful of times and I've always enjoyed their sushi. The only thing that bothers me is the customer service. Every time I have been in, they've treated me and my guests with a stoic urgency. Which, I guess is fine if you just want to be efficient and I usually let it slide as long as the food is good. I understand different cultures deal with things differently. But the lack of the courtesy and openness that you get from other restaurants just makes me feel like a bother every time. And this time was particularly bad. Although we were seated immediately, the server dropped the menus on our table. No smile, no how are you or anything. We kind of laugh it off. When it comes time to order he seems a bit confused (and this has happened twice now when I've ordered. Is it a language barrier? I try to be as clear and simple as possible) but once again my order was wrong. But I say nothing. My mother in law however got something she didn't expect, but due to her own misunderstanding of the menu. When she brought it up to the server, he immediately got defensive and freaked out a little and blamed her fully. He looked like he was going to have a break down. He was acting very stressed and high strung the whole time and it made us extremely uncomfortable to ask for anything or say anything at that point. He spoke very quickly and unclearly as well which also confused us and just made things more uncomfortable. I don't know what he was going through but you can't treat your customers that way. Im wary of every wanting to sit in again. :( Edit: I don't know the name of the server. They never introduce themselves or have name tags that I notice.

This is by far our favorite Sushi place! The restaurant is clean and the staff is attentive. The Eddie's Special is a great way to kick off your meal. The sushi is always fresh and they have a decent selection! We love the casual, family friendly atmosphere Fancy Q provides.

First time visiting. Great place. At soon as you walk in, they accommodate you then bring soup and some fried stuff kind of sushi (sorry for my lack of knowledge) it was delicious. Then asked you for what you want to drink and you can select from the menu. It was so hard to decide because they have so many things. We choose the dinner sushi box and a combination of noodles with beef and shrimp and the other chicken and shrimp, for the kid rice and chicken (she wasn't hungry cause didn't ate much). Everything so delicious and fresh. I can't wait to go back. Thanks for the excellent service!

Usually stop by for lunch on Sunday's. We can always get seated right away. The food is delish and very affordable.

They need to have better comunication had a reservation and waited 10min and finally the hostesses came and ssid ohh we just call u and we sat someone else I c was there with my family and they sat an incomplete party and ofcourse I m hispanic and the incomplete party was oriental.

I found my new favorite spot! My family loves hibachi and I love sushi. The service was amazing, the sushi was super fresh and delicious and the hibachi was perfect. Way better prices than big chains + they give you free little appetizers which was a pleasant surprise. Look forward to coming back soon!

Not the best hibachi I have ever had but it is the only 5 rating in Lakeland. Really nice staff and quick service. The Crab Rangoon was exceptional with just the right amount of crisp and cream cheese. I had the filet and scallops and my wife had the steak and shrimp. Both were exceptional. Not a sushi fan but my wife likes it and my kids love it. They really like the sushi at Fancy Q.

I love this place. I could eat it all the time! The food is always so fresh and hot by the time I pick it up till the time I get home. I always come to this place for sushi. You can’t beat the prices also. Thank you, Fancy Q!

Not only was the service fast and courteous and the food delicious, but a beautiful, kind gentleman sitting next to us paid for our entire family’s meal! He told the manager to wait until he was gone to tell us. What a blessing! Hibachi and Thai curry was delicious and high quality. Pad Thai has a bit of a sweet tangy bbq peanut sauce, but would have preferred more true satay-style peanut sauce. Sushi was average. We’ll be back! #payitforward

Google maps się nie myli. Same plusy! Bardzo sympatycznie, bardzo smacznie, i w bardzo dobrej cenie. Próbowaliśmy sushi - ryba fantastyczna, świeża, dobra proporcja ryby do ryżu. Prosty, szlachetny smak. Bez zbędnych udziwnień. Pewne 5 gwiazdek!

Love coming here. I work close to this restaurant and its my go to at lunch time. They are very diligent and the food it's awesome.

I recently dined at a Fancy Q Japanese restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The clear soup was particularly noteworthy - it had a clean, delicate flavor that was the perfect way to start off the meal. For my entree, I ordered one of the hibachi combinations (Chicken and Shrimp) and was not disappointed. The portions were generous and the food was cooked to perfection. I was also impressed by the restaurant's decoration - it was beautifully designed and had a very nice ambiance. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a group of four or more as it was perfect for a nice dinner out with friends. Overall, a great dining experience!

Great service, nice presentation, it’s really an example of how you eat with your eyes as well. We ate the fried gyoza and the Krab Rangoon, it was plentiful and we felt like we had a full meal. They serve you with the clear soup and the additional Eddie special, which was delicious.

The most unflavorful Thai/Japanese food I’ve ever had. I’m extremely disappointed that this place has such high ratings. If you think this is good Thai, you need to get out if Lakeland and try some much better restaurants people! Thai food is sooooo much better than this! They gave clear soup and some sushi when we sat down. Neither looked good to me. The clear soup was like water and something weird… The miso soup was gross, no seaweed, just green onions. How do you mess up miso soup??? The salad was missing the ginger flavor in the dressing. Who goes to a sushi restaurant for iceberg lettuce with bland French dressing? Whhhyyy???????? The sushi roll was PINK 🤦🏽‍♀️ Not seaweed paper, but soy paper. Maybe I missed that in the menu? I’ve never seen that before…. And i’m not new to eating sushi. We had three different kinds of Pad Thai. Another mistake. The Pad Thai was also desperately missing flavor, the peanuts they gave were shoved in the corner of the plate and was literally a pinch…of the crumbs…at the bottom of the peanut jar after you eat all of the peanuts. I’m not sure that they used peanut oil either. The noodles were also not the typical noodles you would be served with Pad Thai. When the server gave me the plate the smell was bad. I’m not sure what it was, but I didn’t like it. Someone in my party said that the sauce is made of ketchup, that’s the odd taste/color. I’m not sure what it is, but this meal was disrespectful. Almost $70 worth of food? We still left a good tip because the server shouldn’t be punished, but that was very wrong for this place to even serve this food. Negative star. ***Restaurant response still misses the mark. As a restaurant that’s describes itself as Thai in the name, the Pad Thai, a signature dish, should be an easy A. As a sushi restaurant, I shouldn’t have to think about whether the miso soup is tasteful, I should wonder if the sushi is good and fresh. I am a foodie. This is not a restaurant I will be revisiting. We are new winter residents to the Lakeland area. We can be a challenge to serve as I have Celiac and my wife has trouble with flashing lights. The staff tried their best to locate the switch for the lights and moved us immediately to another table when they couldn't locate it. The service was prompt and friendly and the server was knowledgeable about gluten free options. The food came quickly and the quality was excellent. It was a great dining experience and we both highly recommend. We will definitely be back many times this winter :)

I did a take out, the lunch bento box, it was Amazing. Definitely going back to sit and eat inside, because the place was absolutely lovely inside.

The food was really good. I wouldn't say the Thai options qualify it as a Thai restaurant, definitely more sushi and Japanese food offered. The hibachi was excellent, love that it was offered as a lunch option too. I will be a regular at this one! Service was good but the kitchen was very slow, don't come to eat in a rush here.

This is one of me and my husband's favorite places to go. The food is realy good every time, servers are nice, plus they have all kind of delicious freebies they serve with their food like clear soup, eddie's special or the ginger dressing green salad that comes with the hibachi. Most of their rolls are really good, the hibachi is one of the best I ever had (we usually order chicken or chicken and filet) and the water they serve at the table is just great, icy cold, no funky flavors, smooth. Prices are very reasonable too, especially for the quality. Definitely recommend!!!

Until my recent experience I was really enjoying this place. On my most recent visit I found a large piece of plastic in my food. I don't like to make a thing about it, but considering it made me throw up my food I thought I should tell the restaurant. When they picked up they seemed to be aware of this issue. They said they make so many apps. that plastic ends up in it and it is a common problem. They did not apologize or offer me a refund. They just said it was a problem they were aware of. An older person or a child might have choked on something like this. Their response and the way they handled it was very disappointing. Sadly I won't visit there again.

Great sushi and exceptional service!

Sushi rolls were acceptable. Didn't care for the hibachi dish, the sauce used was overly salty. Scallops were slightly undercooked.I had a great experience at the North Lakeland location which is why I returned however I did not enjoy my experience at this location.

Great place. High quality fish. And hot sake. I recommend the crazy girl roll. But if sushi is to your thing the hibachi is good as well.
