This place is the bomb! Great food, great service, friendly atmosphere! The Rubins are to die for!

One of the BEST hidden sandwich shop gems in Lakeland! Always great food and Great customer service. We stumbled across this sandwich shop when first moving to Lakeland 3 years ago, and we have been back constantly and consistently! We love the extra pressed cuban sandwich and the grilled chicken caesar pita they are both phenomenal. Oh and their sweet tea…. <3 The atmosphere is so nice and quaint, and the service is always amazing. They always remember us and make sure to take extra time to ask us how we are. I can’t recommend enough, we make sure to take all our visiting friends and family here for lunch!

I have been coming here since I was a kid! Well over a decade now. Every time I call, I say my name and it’s ready to go in no time! Hands down my favorite sandwich shop in Florida! Very affordable and fresh homemade food!

One of the best subs I've ever had not your typical Philly or meatball sub, there subs are unique!! And absolutely delicious. It was my first time here,the owners were super nice,and the environment was positive, they made there subs quick. Southeast Lakeland, FL. Located in the suburbs, this is a neighborhood favorite. Locals were stopping in for dinner to go during the early afternoon when I popped in. I got the special: a Cuban sandwich, black beans and rice for a great price. Everything was hot and fresh. The black beans tasted like my Cuban friend’s black beans (she and her abuelo would top theirs with extra olive oil and a subtle splash of vinaigre). Up on the walls they have signed pictures of a pilot flying snazzy planes—-this is sort of near Linden Field where the nationally known Sun and Fun event happens. Photos of him and other airplanes plus about three tvs made for a fun ambiance.

This place is fantastic! The food is great. The customer service is amazing! Do yourself a favor and stop and get a cuban with black beans and rice. You won't be disappointed

Stopped at one of my favorite local sandwich shops for my mom's birthday. The staff/owner (Ali) who know me and my family by name are always so welcoming and inviting! My and I both had the pressed Cuban and it was loaded with meat and absolutely delicious. I had the 6" in. with a cup of the ham and bean Spanish soup. The homemade broth is always heavenly! Now that Pipkin Rd is opening back up I can frequent the shop again! You better have an appetite as the portions are large!!!!

Tried this place yesterday! Speed of service was impeccable, barely had my drink filled and table selected before I was called to pick up the food. Portion size was perfect for 2 people on the large fries and garlic mushrooms. We also got 6inch Buffalo Chicken and 6inch Ruben. Taste was great on everything will go back there again.

For those who've not heen here, congratulations, you've found your new go-to sandwich shop! I frequently visit, and the sandwiches are fresh, delicious, and at great prices. From the classic Cuban to the excellent Ruben and every sub in-between, all their makings are the best!

Delicious sandwiches at decent prices. Expect to spend $8-10 on a good sized sandwich or sub. Definitely would choose here over Subway every time.

For starters if you're trying to make it here to eat good luck, hours state they're open until six but if you get there at 5:40 the doors are already locked with the employees inside watching you check your phone to confirm that you're not crazy and they just don't want to take anymore orders. They close at 2PM on Fridays and Saturdays although it's safe to say you should probably get there by 1:30pm to avoid what I previously mentioned. If you're not Jeff Bezos and have to work 9am - 5pm through the week you're basically SOL. The sandwich I had was very flavorful though and the fries were good, unfortunately I personally found the bread way too soft, it couldn't really hold the sandwich together well and thanks to the breads consistency it becomes soggy very easily. They should consider switching to a better bread, that would take these sandwiches to the next level I think. Overall a lot of potential to be one of the best sub places around if these issues are addressed.
