The best micro greens in the bay !! Always bring a cooler bag so pulled pork with mango BBQ can jump in for the ride home. Excellent bakery items- try everything. Finally made it in time for hot food - dad approves Sausage Biscuit as his new favorite!❤️

I will definitely be back. My food was delicious and I loved the seating area. Only thing that almost ruined my experience was the lack of a changing table for babies in the bathroom. Couldn’t change the baby in the car because of fire ants in the parking lot. A blowout+fire ants+screaming baby on the cement bathroom floor is a rough start but we still had a good time. Please add a changing table!!

BE AWARE OF THE INGREDIENTS My family and I were loving Fat Beet Farm and going on a weekly basis but now we feel completely duped. After ordering the Blackout muffins we decided to get the full loaf and noticed the horrible ingredients in this product such as Red 40 , soybean oil, artificial flavor, caramel color, sulfites etc. We were on the assumption everything was made there but this feels like just processed food. Not every item it seems but buyer beware

So have stopped here several times for their cinnamon rolls. they are really quite good. took a guest here for sunday brunch after church. The ordering system is somewhat confusing for first time guests. Placed our order on the screen and proceeded to the cashier. Gave he my name and my credit card which she processed for about $39. since I cannoy stand very well went and sat down while my wife and her friend waited for the food. Then they told them that our order hadn't been placed because it was not pid for. Showed here on my phone that indeed they had charged me and they said that must have been for someone else's order. So my guest pulled out her credit card and proceeded to pay another $45 for our order. The young lady in charge said she would correct it but never has. So almost $90 for three sandwiches,

The food here tastes SO FRESH. I had the spicy chicken sandwich with beets and it was actually an excellent flavor profile of sweet and spicy. The only knock is that there is no seating area inside. Especially when you spend all day touring the farm and outside in the heat, it would be nice to cool off. Didn’t try the bakery, but will for sure be back, because the desserts looked enticing!

I’ve been many times, but today my usual egg bacon and cheese biscuit was a miss. Clearly had been sitting in a steamer as eggs were stiff over cooked and the bacon was burnt. I was told all the bacon on the sandwiches are like that. I probably will not order this again, maybe just stick with the desert which are always great and not too sweet which is how I prefer. Nice scenery still. The food was very inconsistent today

Really nice place, pleasant atmosphere and good food The steak sandwich and Cuban were of good taste and quality. The service speed was very fast. Edit: Come back a few times, very nice people and absurdly fast service. They have some very smooth kombucha, too. I got the oatmeal butterscotch cookies. I easily rate them 9+ out of 10. I gave them to an olympian as a gift, and he had quite a statement but to keep it PG. 10/10

Consistently great! Get there early for the best selection of fresh ingredients. I’ve visited over a dozen times because I adore the place. Staff is friendly and is inside the cafe for your orders. The premises are a serene backdrop for patio dining. Today the gumbo was scrumptious! The side salad with beets and the buttermilk ranch was an ample portion. Glad the chilled latte was in the fridge -the glass jar a nice bonus. If you have not been, come for any event and stay for the wholesome eating!

I absolutely LOVE Fat Beet Farm Kitchen and Bakery. I'm so grateful to have them in the neighborhood. Every visit has been exceptional, from the food to the staff to the atmosphere. The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and grown on the farm. The staff are some of the kindest people, and you can tell they take pride in their work (as they should because the produce, market items, baked goods, and breakfast/lunch items are all top notch). I always look forward to popping in on the weekends for lunch, produce, and a few baked goods. If you're in the area and don't stop by, that's 1000% your loss.

Sunday lunch after church with the family. I had passed by the nearby Fat Beet Farm and decided to try it out. Easy to find, most parking is on a grass lot on the north side but also parking in the rear. Because the inside is basically order and/or pickup, there are covered patios in front and back plus tables on the front lawn. The most difficult part was getting all the orders together for four adults and two teens. We let several customers go by us while we occupied one of the two order kiosks. Finally the crew decided on two Cubans, two French Dips, Power Chicken, Butternut Squash soup, Bacon Spinach Quiche, Mac & Cheese, Chocolate Muffin and Blueberry Pie. Paid for order then picked up drinks, cutlery and napkins and sat at a large table. In a short time our meals came. As our usual practice, we shared our food. Cubans were good, French Dips were good, Mac & Cheese ok. Power Chicken was excellent. The Spinach Quiche was good but my wife’s is better. Butternut Squash was excellent. The Chocolate Muffin was a flop, not even my wife, a Chocoholic, like it. But the Blueberry Pie was the favorite. Wonderful ambiance, great fresh choices and nice patio seating for nice weather. Wish we could have seen the Farm.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Fat Beet Farm for Jen’s sensory tour, and from the moment I set foot on the farm, I was greeted by Jen's warm and welcoming demeanor. Her passion for sustainable farming was evident, as she graciously shared her wealth of knowledge with visitors, myself included. What truly stood out during my visit was Jen's unwavering commitment to nurturing a sense of community through Fat Beet Farm. She actively encourages people of all ages and backgrounds to get involved, offering educational programs, workshops, and volunteering opportunities. Not only does Fat Beet Farm provide us with superb produce, but it also cultivates a deep sense of connection to the land, and a shining example of the transformative power of sustainable farming. This place used to be great but now it’s a hot mess. Went with some friends and they didn’t have the hot meal. Was out of both quiches but you could still order it on the machine. Customers were all over the place and not sure what to do. Go past the order system to check the salads and then you lose your place in line. My friend’s order was made wrong and took forever to fix. It takes forever if there’s more than one customer there. I’m done.

I was so excited to here one of our favorite places was opening back up for season #fatbeetfarm ! We have been going there for a few years. Well.... i dont know why but they literally turned it into an Airport grab and go??? You used to be able make your own salad with diffrent topping and protien. They had soup and salad combos, sanwich combos etc. They now have a kiosk for hot food, which proably speeds up service but not having the salad bar, big mistake. They didnt have the greek salad, tuna salad, potato salad available as the sign says. You can only get the premade salads as they come ? Can not add onions, can not add pepperchini, or any other of the ingredients they used to have. It was special. Perception is reality and once that negative though was in our head, it was just not as good. We would go once a week at least but now??? Probably not. Its really ashame and i could go on with a lot of reasons why it is no longer is appealing. Its their business and hope them the best with one less customer.

I have visited this restaurant three times in hopes of trying their menu, each time arriving within a half hour of them opening for the day. From what they were not sold out of, it tasted pretty good. So much potential but it’s a limited menu to begin with aside from them being sold out of items. There’s something to be said for a demand so high that you can’t keep up but to not prepare or stock ingredients to make food is poor management. I doubt I will drive out of my way to go here and try the menu again

We live in Tennessee (but visit Tampa often) and ALWAYS stop at Fat Beet Farm multiple times for lunch on our trips. I've traveled to 35+ states and tried dozens of lunch spots and FBF is at the very top of my list. Everything I've tried is a 9/10 or 10/10, with the bacon egg & cheese biscuit being the perfect sandwich - high quality eggs/bacon/cheese and I think one of the best biscuits in the US. Most breakfast sandwiches need sauce but this one does not! Other FBF items I love: power chicken sandwich, smoked beef french dip, biscuits & gravy, blueberry scone, all cookies, blackout banana muffin, peanut butter brownie, cinnamon roll, carrot cake muffin... still plenty of items I hope to try on our many upcoming Tampa trips!

Happy Hidden GEM! Jen, the owner, and her staff are truly humble, kind and caring people. Always have a smile. The grounds are impeccable - several acres). Shop in their cafe/bakery/mart or stay and eat. I feel like I’ve been transported back to cafes and family organic farms back home in Humboldt County, CA (Northern California near Oregon). Don’t drive by. Just pull in. You won’t be disappointed. The last 3 weeks since my first visit, I have been trying all their fresh farm to table fare. Beet Goat Power Greens Salad, Power Chicken Sandwich, Reuben, Tuna salad & chicken salads - wow what flavor bombs! Everything is fresh, flavorful and absolutely delicious. You can’t forget about their made from scratch baked goods. Their earl grey shortbread the perfect match with tea or coffee. We were lucky enough to purchase several bottles of Jen’s homemade holiday baileys - unreal! They have a vast hydroponics micro greens garden system onsite (tours available). They incorporate their daily harvest into their recipes and also sell in their mart. I always purchase their made from scratch sourdough and wheat breads, their flower power greens (edible flowers with mixed greens), their micro greens packs, their bursting with flavor tomatoes and their jalapeño and Serrano peppers pack a punch. The mac n’ cheese was a hit at my family’s holiday party along with an array with their delectable baked goods. It is nice to have this in Tampa’s backyard.

So, for about three months over the summer, I kept passing by this farm, and the moment I saw they were open again, I made it my mission to drag my partner out there. It was such a hit! They've got this fantastic outdoor seating setup next to the farm, and the whole place is just gorgeous. Plus, the location couldn't be better. And their blueberry pie? It's out of this world... We couldn't resist and even picked up some of their unique plants last time - moringa and San Marzano tomatoes! It's also cool that they're connected to Noble Crust, which adds a layer of interest. Definitely a top-notch pit stop if you're in the Westchase/Oldsmar area. Oh, and don't even get me started on their freshly baked sourdough. If they have it, grab it. My only suggestion would be to allow people to walk around the farm after they are done dining.

Slowly crossing things off the list to try here! My first visit, I had the French Dip which was not my favorite at all. The meat was very thick & smokey. The au jus paired with it was very flavorful though. The second thing I tried was their bacon, egg & cheese breakfast biscuit. The biscuits are AMAZING.. thick, moist & buttery. It seems like they do a fried egg.. wish I do wish it would be more of a fluffy scrambled egg. Also tried the jelly with the biscuits which was a different flavor than the norm.. maybe like a blackberry? I then tried just their egg & cheese breakfast biscuit… because the picture on their website shows yellow cheese, however it came with white cheese which I didn’t want on that sandwich so a little disappointed. I’ve grown to love their mac n cheese… simple in flavor, but really cheesy & doesn’t leave you feeling heavy But the best thing I’ve tried hands down so far is their power chicken sandwich. It’s a little pricey for a sandwich but comes with a good amount of meat and yummy honey mustard dressing! At the end of the day, I just love to support the farm and farm fresh food.. that makes it all worth it! It’s such a cute little place with so much more to offer and great outdoor patio space. I just wish they were open Mondays or Tuesdays! UPDATE 10/9/23: I came back after being gone for a few months and it appears they are making some changes… which I don’t really understand. They moved the water inside which you now have to ask for them to poor you a cup. The utensils are moved inside which is a bit inconvenient. And they no longer have the large selection of misc items to buy, they’ve downsized. They also extended their hours which I thought was a great thing only to realize they close the kitchen a full hour before the closing shift which is confusing and learned the hard way. Regardless of the changes, the power chicken sandwich keeps me coming back 1-2x a week LOL

Pet friendly as it's all outdoor seating, but you have to go inside to order. Waterbottle refill stations in both seating areas. Mostly vegetarian menu of sandwiches, soup, quiche, baked goods, and big salads. Large section of cold cases to grab and go, including salads, hummus, drinks, meals to heat at home, farm fresh eggs, etc. The food was yummy. They try to source ingredients on site or locally, but the end of summer is a mediocre growing season. Sustainable paper plates with real silverware and cups. Service was friendly and helpful. Looks like they have event space available for rental.

Very meaty fall off the bone ribs, generously slathered in mango bbq sauce. Although a very hot day dining on the patio under the fans was comfortable. There are two patios front and back and plenty of parking available. On this visit found the staff friendly and helpful as always. Other favorites are the quiche, salad and French dip You can find delicious bakery items to eat there or take home. For convenience can order ahead online for pickup.
