Oh my god! The buns are the star of the show

First time having visited this establishment. We were very pleased with not only the service but with our food as well. The chicken fried steak with mashed taters and green beans was very good and portion size was perfect for a lunch meal. Wife had the bacon cheeseburger and fries,again very pleased with her selection.

It’s pretty good. I wish I’d gone with a burger. The bread is really fresh. The fries are spot on. The cookies are good.

Robbie and the staff were great as always. The food always excellent, especially the burgers and gumbo. That homemade bun is the best in town, and you can't forget the casino cake to finish it off. We like to eat ours while we wait on our food. Thanks for for being one of the few great restaurants in the area that has stayed great for years!

Fast service, extremely accommodating for special request. Food was out within 15 minutes for a party of 8 hot, freshly cooked. Family friendly atmosphere.

First and foremost, this was my first time, and I felt very welcomed. The kind lady taking my order was very attentive and did not rush me as I was glancing at the menu. The wait staff were awesome and continued to check on service. The food though!?! AMAZING! The fried fish was fried deep and to perfection. As someone who is vacationing home (Military) specifically for food lol, this was a good stop spot. Lastly, I ordered a take out plate and it was also plated perfectly. Nothing soggy and everything was packed separately alongside the po-boy. My to-go came out right as I was finishing my dine in, amazing service! Will be going back tomorrow to check out the salads. 10/10 experience!

Bread was home made, fresh and delicate. Chicken salad was mild, which is perfection. The chocolate cake dessert came home with me so I could mash it up with some cookies and cream flavored ice cream. It was ideal.

Great food and very nice people. Basic decor, but fun pictures. We go for the food. Fried catfish platter and Fried shrimp po boy were excellent. Cheeseburger is going to be for next visit. We highly recommend this great neighborhood place!

Hamburgers may be the best in Shreveport. Top of the line service! Bread is made on location by the owner. You can't go wrong here.

By far, one of the best burgers I've ever had! The bun is near perfection. The meat had a hint of smoke flavor. Absolutely wonderful. And all the workers are very helpful

Everything about this place is perfect. The food is fantastic. Service is fast, friendly, and accommodating. The place is spacious and clean. Parking is easy. Our first day in town, we were doing errands and started looking for lunch nearby. I looked on Google for “lunch near me” and this popped up. I said to my husband, “This has unusually high ratings and it’s close - let’s check it out.” He hardly ever gives rave reviews to anyplace, but as we were leaving, he said, “There’s a reason for those high ratings.”

Comfortable place. The food is great. We had bacon cheese burgers and fries. 1/2 was enough.

Always great. Never a disappointment. Catfish the way I like it. Burgers are great but messy eating. Everyone likes this place. In recent years though, they are seldom open. Every time we go there it is closed.

This is the perfect neighborhood restaurant! The catfish are fresh and fried to perfection; crispy on the outside, white and flakey inside. The fries are crispy home-style, slightly seasoned, but not heavily. The side salad has mixed greens and cherry tomatoes and is a generous serving. The restaurant is in an established neighborhood and is very casual. Others at my table were very happy with their selections included fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, and a shrimp poboy. There service was great and we were able to talk to the owner as well. We will be back soon too try other menu items. The hamburgers look great!

Absolutely amazing! The staff, the service, the food. Absolutely impeccable! Was highly recommended to go here by a local physician and they did not disappoint! We will be returning!

Food inexpensive and good quality.

Walking into this place was like walking into grandma's and the customer service was above and beyond. The food was delicious. I had the chicken and sausage gumbo with a chicken salad sandwich and my husband had the seafood platter. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

One of the best burger places in the country. The homemade buns are a little bit of heaven. Pillowy soft, melt in your mouth. Also, huge portions.

The boiled shrimp is huge. And always fantastic. Its served cold but still delicious.

I've never had an unsatisfactory meal at Rollin' in the Dough. I had a cheeseburger and fries on my last visit. The homemade bun makes it even better. My wife had catfish and she loved it. We grabbed a couple of casino cakes to take home. Neither of the casino cakes made it through the night. They were great.

Food was great! I got the BBQ Brisket special, they have homemade bread for their sandwiches 😍 Husband had catfish platter and it was delicious also! Highly recommend, very chill atmosphere.

My absolute fav’s are the chicken salad sandwich on their delicious bread and the casino cakes. Nothing better!

The best fish around from a local restaurant. They appreciate your business and always welcome you back. Some other local restaurants could learn from them.

One of the best burgers in town.

Picked up a burger and fries to go for my mother. The presentation of burger with fresh bun, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and purple onion was excellent. My 82 year mom said it was awesome and one of the best burgers she has had in a long while.

Wife and I had the chicken salad sandwich. Truthfully, we were both dissapointed. It lacked flavor. It was advertised with celery etc, kike mom made. Her nor I yasted any celeru or onion, it was rather bland. Service was great! Overall a good experience! We simply cannot rwcommwnd the chicken salad! We will be back however!

This place has the BEST chicken club salad. I go at least once a week to get one. The staff are always so nice and they have such a wide selection of food! Oh, and don’t even get me started on the casino cakes 🥴My friends and family have all had different dishes and they’ve all been a hit!

The best burger I've had in a long time!

It's a hidden gem to a majority of the public. It's a nice place tucked in behind the duck pond. Slow pace, nice folks, clean restaurant. Daily specials, good prices. I had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, green beans and white gravy. Great!

A cozy restaurant to go to for a good lunch. I had quite low expectations for the food I had ordered at first, but all of the food was delicious! Growing up with my family's gumbo, the shrimp gumbo they had heavily exceeded my expectations. The waiting time was quite long, however, given me and my brother arrived around 1 PM, it was expected. The staff, even after messing up our order originally, were very kind! I'd definitely go there again given the chance.
