We were so blessed to be able to celebrate my husband’s 40th Birthday party here and it was amazing! Lindsey and Brent and so kind and fabulous! So easy to work with and accommodating. Lindsey helped with everything honestly made the day so chill and fun! The space is absolutely gorgeous for any event! I would most definitely work with them again!

The Firefly Event Barn was absolutely everything we could have imagined! Their space flawlessly embodies everything I love about being up north: the trees, grasses, open space, and proximity to the water. The barn offers the most unique touches that wowed each guest that walked through the doors. I can’t begin to applaud Lindsey and her family for the work and commitment they have to the barn! They work so tirelessly to make the whole day operate smoothly starting even months before and their availability and openness to lots of questions! Lindsey worked so closely with me to make sure every detail fell into place. I can’t begin to count the number of compliments I got from guests, parents, and my wedding party on the staff working behind the bar! I can say with 100% confidence that FireFly Event Barn helped to make my wedding day the most special and best day of my life! Thank you thank you thank you!

We are SO thankful to have held our wedding at FireFly this year. Lindsey and Brent were attentive, accommodating and just a joy to work with. Our wedding went soooo smoothly - there was never a wait at the bar, bathrooms were constantly cleaned and restocked, etc etc. The barn itself is so beautiful and special. If you're considering a wedding at FireFly pull the trigger now - you won't regret it!

I was here as a wedding guest in September. The property is beautiful. It was a lovely back drop for the wedding. The venue was unique but felt a little tight in terms of space. It worked because the weather was nice and people could be outside. The staff seemed really nice and patient with everyone.

We cannot begin to explain how wonderful this venue is, not to mention the most excellent hosts. Every little thing was taken care of. Their attention to detail and can do attitudes were bar none. Great location, beautiful decor, and delightful staff, perfect for any event! We reserved the FireFly Event Barn for a joint graduation party and it was outstanding! The owners are easy to work with and are quick to answer any questions. The ability to have both outdoor and indoor activities is a bonus! Would highly recommend!!

The Firefly Event Barn in Nevis MN is an amazing place for a wedding (or any event). The location, lovely environment, and personal attention were outstanding. Lindsey and her team provided individual attention to our requests, and complied with everything we asked for. She even helped repair a wrist corsage! We got married at the Firefly October 15, 2022. We were the last wedding of the year, but you would never have guessed that by the enthusiasm Lindsey and her awesome bartenders showed us. We had so many compliments on the beautiful rustic venue, Lindsey, Brent and their friends who worked there! Lindsey was so great to work with and the main reason we picked the venue aside from all the details and beauty of the barn! When we first checked out the barn we didn’t even pull out of the driveway and we knew this place was it! Through out the process she was so easy to reach and answered any questions we had! ❤️

Lindsey and Brent at the Firefly went above and beyond to make our wedding day special! They were so responsive, detailed, and knowledgeable, they took away so much stress from wedding planning. The venue has everything needed and is beyond beautiful! We cannot recommend the firefly enough!

We hosted our daughter’s wedding at Firefly and it was everything we hoped it would be. To keep it succinct - they pay attention to details, are supportive and flexible and generous. It was a joy working with Lindsey during the planning. She is so professional and very kind. During the event - they are locked in on hospitality. Lindsey and Brent have a beautiful event space and make it all so easy!

Had our wedding there this July and Lindsay and Brent were amazing. The barn is so unique and beautiful, the grounds of the property and outdoor florals are so well maintained, their attention to detail is amazing and they are really easy to work with. They recently opened a camp ground also which is such a great option for guests. They have a good report with their frequent vendors and it’s nice to know that they all work together often and know how to get things done. There is a suite for the bride to get ready in and one for the groom which are so unique and fun to take pictures it. We asked for a specialty cocktail as well during our cocktail hour and they did an amazing job executing it. It was a fan favorite all night. From booking to planning to the day of I would recommend Firefly to anyone wanting to get married in northern Minnesota. I am still getting messages referring to it as the best wedding ever!

We hosted our Post Prom event at the FireFly Event Barn. It was the perfect venue for our Post Prom party. We were able to have games and activities both inside and outside to accommodate a large number of kids. The grounds and building are beautiful. Lindsey and Brent have created the perfect venue for large groups and weddings! They are extremely accommodating and wonderful to work with! So thankful we have this awesome facility in our small community!

I got married October 17th 2020 at the firefly event barn. Let me tell you, there was nothing more frustrating then planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic and Lindsey made it happen. She answered my calls, texts and emails immediately which is what a bride leans on. She was also very personable, I had stress headaches and she went out of her way to give me an essential oil. Seriously, she’s the best. The Barn itself was perfect. People could hang out outside and play games or take pictures with the beautiful background or your guests can have drinks/appetizers inside and there is more then enough room. I also have to add that it snowed on our wedding day and Nick and Lindsey shoveled and wiped down the benches since the ceremony was outside. Seriously, book your wedding here. It was majestic.

We got married here back in October and we couldn’t have had a more perfect day. We couldn’t have chosen a better place! Lindsey was so good to work with! She was constantly in touch and helped us out SO much!! 10/10!

Five stars over and over again! We had our Wedding Reception at the Firefly last year and it was a beautiful,Romantic,fun, down right perfect place!!!!! My sister and friends also threw my Bridal shower at the Firefly and it was just perfect! The price was well worth it. The amount of stress that was taken off my plate by choosing the Firefly Event Barn was huge! The owners are beyond accommodating, kind and there to answer any and all questions you might have ( even the crazy ones only a stressed out bride thinks about at 2 am). The grounds are safe,clean and gorgeous with so much potential to fit almost any party theme. Our guest's were so grateful there was affordable camping spots available onsite so they could come early and hang out before and after the wedding. We loved knowing our guests would be able to relax and stay longer with out having to worry about finding a sober cab or driving super late. We even had a minor bridesmaid glitch and there was Lindsey, ready to stand in for her. Firefly is more then a wedding venue/Tap Room. It is a place where memories and life long friends are made. Our main focus was for our guests to let loose and have fun and celebrate with us. They had a blast.Thanks to all the hard working and dedicated staff members and Owners we were able to have a perfect for us Celebration.

Unique place. Pizza was very good. Service was a bit slow. Many beers on tap that you don't find anywhere else in the area.

The Firefly Event Barn is one of the most amazing places to have a wedding! My husband and I recently had our wedding here at this beautiful facility. Lindsey was super helpful throughout the whole process and was always giving great advice about how we should set up and what the best flow would be! Her and her staff helped make the day a lot less stressful than it could have been! There was never a time when I contacted Lindsey and I didnt get a fast reply! Also, she had every answer to every question we had and even suggestions on what we could do. Lindsey is very knowledgeable about weddings and always willing to help out! They always seemed so caring and seemed to want your day to be the most incredible day of your life. And that they would help you in any way they can to help make that happen! For my husband and I it was! We are so thankful and happy that we chose their venue for our big day! A huge thank you to the firefly barn and their staff!!

The food is fantastic, highly recommend for a relaxing date night out on the patio with a refreshing drink and delicious pizza! Their food & drink menu has something for everyone and the atmosphere is so inviting.

I am a photographer and did a styled shoot with owners Lindsey and Brent and fell in love with both them AND their venue! As a photographer I can say that the whole setting, both inside and outside, is the perfect backdrop for gorgeous images. It's also got such a fun, laid-back vibe that wedding guests are guaranteed a great time. My family has eaten at their restaurant and we still rave about the reuben pizza we ate two years ago. We always look forward to Firefly visits whenever we visit my parent's cabin!

Was here for a wedding and was impressed with all FireFly had to offer. Amazing views, great tap list, and good set-up for dinning inside and out. Once the sun set, the band shell had an other-worldly feel to it.

What an excellent day for our Family! Our daughter had her wedding, dinner and reception all at the Firefly event barn, and it was absolutely phenomenal! Brent and Lyndsey were so helpful and great to work with during the wedding planning. The staff at Firefly is top notch and class act. We had both our ceremony and reception there and Lindsey and all of the incredible FireFly staff were so accommodating and helpful from the beginning of the day through the end of the day. From setting up, to tearing down, to serving up the most delicious drinks, we couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to help make our wedding day dreams come true. ✨😊 We are still so thrilled that we chose the FireFly for our special day. This place is the best new addition! Great food and drinks, trivia on Thursdays is a lot of fun and the servers/bartenders/cooks/owner are all great people.

We loved this place. We played trivia and listened to some live music along with trying several craft beers.

Very pretty setting, we visited for the beer festival they had and would definitely come back. We considered for a wedding venue, however, I wouldnt say the barn was wedding material. The barn was run down, with strange layouts, only thing I would keep is the view.

A great spot to stop and have a few craft beers. Make sure you plan ahead many Saturdays they are closed due to weddings.

Drinks were made pretty good. I loved the decor. The bathroom stalls are even remodeled barn stalls. Very neat. I want to know where they got their compass clock.. love it!!

Fireflyevent barn is commonly known to host great weddings, but many people forget that they also offer a plethora of other activities. In the summer months they host Yoga, Live Music, and Kickboxing class equipped with 6 bathroom/changing rooms. Brent and Lindsey's hospitality attracts people of all kinds and it has been a pleasure to watch it grow.

If you are looking for a barn theme wedding than this is the perfect spot for you. Prices are great and owners are very easy to work with. Perfect for a bride who is hosting no more than 300 people.

I wish I could give a higher rating. Not only is this venue absolutely breathtaking, Brent and Lindsey are so wonderful to work with. They have rasied the bar on professionalism. Leading up to our day, they were always easy to contact and responded promptly to any questions we had. Upon arrival the barn was in pristine condition and they saw to it we had everything we needed throughout the entire day. I would not change a thing about this venue or the amazing couple who run it. If you're looking to make your dream wedding a reality, I would look no further than Firefly event barn, you will not be disappointed.

On a scale of 1-5, the Firefly event barn is easily at least a 25. If you're looking for a wedding venue that not only fits your biggest dreams for your wedding but also makes you feel welcome and at home during one of the biggest days of your life, Firefly is ABSOLUTELY that. And more. When I began the venue search there were seemingly no options that fit what I was looking for. When I found Brent and Lindsey at the Firefly I found rustic, yet crisp and clean. Indoor and outdoor ceremony sites. LOTS of bathrooms! Charm and character everywhere. Great catering/bar options (close by)! Room for my mom's homemade cheesecake in the freezer. And - for the trendy girl in me - so many chalkboards! Brent and Lindsey gave my husband and I so much room to create our own "wedding style" that we loved and offered help along the way. From the first moment that I saw the Firefly until the last piece of cheesecake was served at our wedding dance, they were so welcoming, helpful, and sincere! Even 417 days after our wedding we get compliments from guests about how perfect the venue was and I couldn't agree more. I was part of an wedding that took place at the FireFly. The venue is an old barn that has plenty of character. The owners were very helpful and the event turned out great. They have added an outdoor stage where the wedding took place, and was great for am outdoor wedding.

Firefly Event Barn has the nostalgia and elegance you'd expect for a wedding event. Brent and Lindsey are courteous, knowledgeable and creative. As a local DJ in the area this is easily one of our favorite venues to play in. The area is always clean and where else can you find a venue with 6 private restrooms for guests to use. This is also a great place to have your ceremony as well with a landscape that is breathtaking your photographer will capture pictures that will look like they came right from a magazine. According to my clients the cost is very economical and there is plenty of parking. I highly recommend this venue to any bride hosting 250 or less!
