So my wife is big into Japanese Sushi so when she found this place online she was ecstatic to say the least. Since then she must order at least every other week. She loves the sushi rolls and the Miso soup. She also loves the seaweed and dinner combo. The staff is always friendly. The portions are great.

Takeout only, but it is fantastic!

Good quality fish priced slightly higher than it should be in my opinion. The selection is varied and they offer lunch specials (that aren't that special ($16.95 for 3 rolls picked from a small selection with no soup or salad). The store (it's more a takeout store... not a restaurant) was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and courteous. Will return.

Great place for sushi take out! I'd recommend to call ahead ready to pick up! Quality and service is greay!! This is my other sushi place that I'd definitely go back to!

Very friendly and fast service! The rolls were delicious and well wrapped. The menu had all the familiar rolls and dishes. The storefront also has some fun Japanese products if you’re looking for drinks, candy, etc.

I love ordering sushi here. The staff is so nice and are always laughing or smiling. I recommend the salmon and avocado roll. This place does not disappoint!

My husband and I love the In and Out Avocado Roll. It is made fresh and tastes delicious! The staff is friendly and the place is very clean.

I live in the area and I buy my sushi here regularly. My orders are always fresh and ready when I arrive (typically 15-30 minutes from the time I call). The staff is super friendly and they great me by my first name. I’m about to place another order for my daughter and her friend who are on the way home from college. My daughter misses two things when she is away: her bathtub and Maguro sushi :)

One of the best sushi sashimi combo. The toro salmon is very fresh and melts in your mouth tender. 😋 Wasabi is professional grade, ginger salad dressing is at par with expensive Japanese places. Price is very reasonable as it is a take-out place, not paying extra for ambience.

I went here a lot when I first moved into the area, so when I recently moved back into the local area, I was not only happy to find them still open, but that their sushi is still just as wonderful! Being a purely takeout place, I tend towards rolls rather than cuts of fish, as I'd rather have the latter fresh rather than travel home with it. But the rolls are wonderful, from the basics (I'm a big fan of salmon skin) to their higher-end rolls with eel. My wife is very fond of their grilled salmon roll, although once it did come quite overcooked, when every other time it's been perfectly grilled and tender. That was just one blemish on an otherwise spotless record of wonderful sushi. I do with the boba tea options were on the website, as we sometimes forget when placing an order.

The WORST TUNA SASHIMI I've ever had. I ordered over $140 worth of sushi rolls and sashimi for special occasion. The tuna had weird taste and smell and I had to bring all tuna because the owner was keep saying there's nothing wrong with smelly fish. They ended up giving us salmon sashimi in exchange but they were constantly saying there's nothing wrong. This was my favorite sushi place and now this is the most disappointing place. Their attitude sucked, and their quality was disaster. Please fix your manner when you interact with the customer.

Wow. I had the Hawaiian roll from here and it was incredible. So fresh and delicious. A little pricey here but most certainly worth it!

Easily one of my favorite sushi of all time... exquisite flavor and very authentic. I had the Ramsey and an Ikura handroll. Golden standard for sure and a must have if you are in New Jersey. I’ve eaten A LOT of sushi in the US and in many other countries (although not in Japan yet) but these are on my top 2 for sure. Great job guys and thank you for existing!

Lot of use of tempura crisps on most sushi. Tried the Shogun roll, volcano roll, crab sticks. The roll is so-so and not very fresh.

Stopped in to get lunch and was wowed by the interior! Snacks, decorative chopsticks, vases, and knick knacks, couldn’t help but grab some things. Must try the dynasty roll!

Maguro is a must if your in the area! I was in NJ from Maryland on a work trip and decided to try the best local sushi restaurant it was the best choice I made. I recommend the Hollywood & Dynamite roll!!

We can say we are their Royal customer because we are going back to the store more than15 years. We never been disappointed, food is always good. We tried several restaurants and ended no more try. When your know you will get good food, why you need waist your money?

This is my new favorite sushi restaurant!!! They only do "to go" but have the best fresh fish and Boba tea too! We got some food delivered at my friends house and it was my first time getting food from them and it was awesome! I went by again today and got their sushi lunch special and a great Boba tea too! I only wish they had gluten free soy sauce packets for the to go orders...

I love this place. Recently went here for some boba tea. I didnt catch the woman’s name that was at the front working the cash register and she made out boba tea as well- she was SO sweet. They have great customer service. My experience was so pleasant. The lady was patient and friendly. I have yet to try their sushi but it looks amazing. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Home town sushi ! Great people excellent service, what else could you ask for?

First time trying this place. I got a simple roll (the orange roll) and it was so yummy! Everything from the salmon on top to the seasoning of the rice was so delicious. Definitely coming back

Great small spot to pick up some sushi for dinner. We have been coming here multiple times on our way home from shopping. Getting sushi from most places is a hit or miss experience. Here it is always a hit, never a miss. My son enjoys the teriyaki beef my daughter the salmon sashimi and us, well, we just experiment with the menu, and never disappointed.

Stopped in on a road trip for some quick sushi. Absolutely phenomenal. The fish was fresh, flavors were nice and crisp, customer service was fast and polite, and the prices were super reasonable. I’m coming down again on the next IKEA trip!

One of my FAVORITE sushi go-to places....I especially love the spicy crunchy tuna and salmon.

The food here is delicious! I am not a sushi eater, but their chicken teriyaki is out of this world. Getting to the place is a bit of a hassle, but worth it. Ordering food here has a very long wait time, but again the food is worth it.

There's a lot of Japanese food places out there but this is definitely one of my favorite. Highly recommend.

Been coming here for years. The quality of food and service is second-to-none. Anything you order is fresh and expertly prepared. Staff is extremely friendly and they will greet you by name before you know it! Highly recommend this local gem if you love sushi and other Japanese/Korean cuisine.

There were shards of plastic in two pieces of sushi that I got, but the sushi itself was really, really good. I went back to them a few days later and they were really nice about it. They asked me a lot of questions, trying to figure out how it happened. They tried to give me free lunch, so I just put $5 in the tip jar. AS far as I can tell, it was a freak occurrence.

My favorite sushi place, and I have been to most in Bergen County. The staff apparently are Japanese, which is important to my experience. The fish is fresh and flavorful. You cannot beat their lunch specials! I order them weekly. Their yaki soba is also great, as well all other sushi. The staff are very friendly. For the money, it is the best quality sushi I have found in Bergen County. #1 recommend for take-out

Fresh high quality sushi. Friendly staff, very accommodating to special orders (my wife doesn't eat fish or sesame seeds). They have good specialty rolls including vegetarian and chicken katsu rolls. (For non-fish eaters). I usually get fish and chicken rolls because I like both. Happy to give Maguro sushi my business.

Very very good sushi. Fresh. Clean tasting. As many have said, it's a takeout spot only but that is fine by me. We ordered a bunch of sashimi & a few of their special rolls. Salmon, tuna, yellowtail sashimi were all delicious. Chef special roll was awesome and HUGE. The tempura flakes on the outside gave it a great texture. Shrimp tempura roll (which we always get from any new sushi spot) was just OK and a bit overpriced at $6.95. I've had better shrimp tempura rolls at East Japanese. Overall, we'll certainly make this our go-to spot for takeout sushi while Sakura Bana in Ridgewood is still our go-to for eating out.

Maguro is open again! Love the sushi here. Always fresh and consistent. I recommend getting the Titan Roll. Probably one of the best roll on the menu
