I ordered an Italian sub and was given a ham sandwich, I asked to be redone and was told to return the sub when the website states that returns aren’t accepted, then was falsely accused by the general manager of calling her the nword. I made several complaints and I haven’t heard of any response. If anyone wants actual good service, avoid this location.

Tuesday night 8/20/24 at around 8:15 I visited the store. Upon walking up to the register I waited for about 5 mins before being greeted. An employee called out for another employee to assist me. The employee who was appointed to assist immediately yelled back to the other, “WHAT!” With an attitude, turned & looked at me, & then slowly walked up to to take my order. Her name tag read, “Quay”. As she began taking my order, I told her exactly what I wanted & then made sure to confirm with her exactly what I did not want on my sandwich. While doing so, she answers the phone & places me on hold. While on speaking with someone on the phone, she proceeds to hold her hold her hand out for money, I pay, Get my change, & sit & wait. While waiting, I hear her complaining to another employee about customers & how they cannot ruin her job & how she has bills to pay etc. Finally after about 15 mins my name is called & I check my food. Nothing is right. I have a sandwich with no cheese & very little condiments. I bring it back to the counter & “Quay” is immediately hostile, “I Told Her!” . . I was unable to make out all that she said, but she was referring to me. Her hostility immediately prompted me to ask for a refund. I did not understand how I was being treated this way when I was very clear and concise about what I wanted. I have never been met with such Rude and Hostile behavior from an employee from the start. I have been a customer here for years & have never ever been treated this way. I was very disappointed.

It’s sad to see a business you love turn to shambles because of a singular individual whose attitude clearly reflects a lack of interest in the business as a whole. I’ve always enjoyed Firehouse Subs, but a certain management level employee by the name of GENIE has made every recent experience truly disappointing. I’ve been left with a bad taste in my mouth—both literally and figuratively. It’s disheartening to see a supervisor who should be setting an example for other employees behave in the way that she does. I hope management addresses this issue because, as of now, I won't be returning to this location.

I really like and enjoy the sandwiches but I ordered a cup of chili and a cup is about 8 ounces this little container was about 3 to 4 ounces and it was $3.69. There was probably about 40 cents worth of chili in it. Disappointed! Same cup same amount of potato soup $3.39. Also a disapointment. The Cuban and Meatball sandwich was what I ordered. They were delicious.

Great place! 1st time here, I honestly don't know why I waited so long! Great food, great quality! Had the N.Y. Steamer and it didn't disappoint! I'll definitely be back with my wife next time!

Literally the worst service and slowest wait I have ever had anywhere. I waited 30 minutes for a kids sub and a small adult. Nothing difficult not a ton of people in there and 5-6 staff members. No reason it should have taken this long and nobody is in a hurry what so ever. This makes me never want to step foot in another firehouse lol we would have been better off going to a sit down restaurant and likely out sooner than what we waited for a very basic 2 sandwiches… mind blowing.

They have the best subs, so many wonderful combinations unique to Firehouse. First responders get a donation too.

Horrible Horrible Horrible experience ordered our 2 medium subs combos cant take a $50 bill for a $32 dollar meal, and took over 30 mins to get pur meal with 6 employees behind the counter. To top it off the extra pickles we paid for was not received and my husband's chicken parmasen meatball sub was COLD the cheese under the sauce was not melted! Worst food I have ever tried to eat! Waste of $32.00.

I've never had a problem with Firehouse and this location is no exception. The sandwiches are delicious, the bread is nice and soft and the service is quick. I'll always recommend Firehouse Subs.

First time here and Boy ! OH BOY! DID I ENJOY!! I tried the limit time only Cuban Sandwich which was amazing!! It was different in its own way the some bbq it added zing and some spice to the Cuban,this was a Great Sandwich to try I highly recommend while it's around!! Plenty of meat and the Size was worth the price!. The Second Sandwich I got was there Turkey Bacon Ranch! This wasn't your typical turkey bacon ranch Sandwich! One thing I like about firehouse subs is all there subs taste different it's not the same as your other sub shops! This Sandwich was good ,alpt of turkey,bacon and just enough ranch sauce! I'll definitely be back to get it again!! The manager Jeanine was super nice and friendly and she did such a great job making me feel welcomed and got my Sandwiches done fast!! She is a great manager and a great asset to your Lakeland location!! Thank you!!

Employee answered her personal cell phone while making customers sandwich, then proceeded to say she did not when I watched her do it. When she realized I had seen her she made it a point to say she was changing her gloves. Very unprofessional and unsanitary.

I stop by 3-10-24 at 6.30 for two sandwiches something very simple but unfortunately the service was horrible I waited 45 minutes for two sandwiches the service and management sure really play better extending to their job and quit playing and joking around like spoiled kids I truly recommend that they sure be more like responsible people instead of a bunch of idiots

Went there 2 nights ago and ordered two Large sandwiches. Unfortunately when my food was done & We sat at our table I noticed 2 mold spots on the top piece of bread ... I asked my partner to check out the bread to make sure I was not tripping ... She also confirmed it was indeed Mold .... So we took the food back up to the counter to show the employee...... The same employee who prepared the meals... My thing is how are you making a sandwich && NOT SEE two very distinct blueish green mold parts on the food you are preparing... Im very disappointed ...

Subs are delicious but a little overpriced

Messed up my order twice but the food is good. Edit: changing to 2 stars now because I had an unusually long wait for my order when I went and it seemed all others experienced the same as well.

Jeanne, put me on hold for 5 min, when I got to the store it was empty 2 people leaving with their order. Jeanne also went back and fourth with me as if I were trying to get a free sandwich out of a large order with only 1 item being made incorrectly. Also Jeanne it doesn't take over 10 minutes to make a sandwich when their was not any orders ahead my order. Jeanne you deserve a decrease in your wage. It cost absolutely nothing to be kind and considerate. Well wishes to you Jeanne. I would say we won't be back but that's obvious.

I observed the most disgusting thing ever at this restaurant and will not be back. As the guy was making sandwiches, I observed him actively picking his nose and continue to making the sandwich. I really thought that I was seeking things. So I started to pay closer attention. I observed him continue to touch his face, wipe his nose and continue to make sandwiches. I was in utter disgust. The manager was standing there and I told her to make him stop touching his face while he is making the sandwiches and please change his gloves. The manager did comply and make him go wash his hands and change his gloves; explaining that he was new. This really is not an excuse for the employees behavior. I would think that being fresh out of training he would have been very careful with sanitation. It was a mess to watch and I really feel that he was doing it on purpose because as he continued the actions, he kept glancing at me seeing that I was seeing him and what he was doing. Witnessing this today made me sick to my stomach and I will not be back. This will serve as encouragement for me to bring my own lunch to work.

Great visit here! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed. Jeanne at the register was so very patient, kind and such a pleasure! Our food came out right away perfect and overall was an EXCELLENT experience! Way to go!

Food was as good as any other time of going to get something to eat. Just wish they would bring back the hot sauce section like in the past. Always loved getting that extra kick while enjoying the sub.
