Was severely overcharged for a trip for lunch .120.63 for a haddock dinner fried clam dinner and a order of onion rings.Really Used a debit card and disputed charge with bank as I didn't get receit they sent me a letter that they could not process. Left many messages to restraunt with no response. Please check your bill and get receipt. Wonder how many other people they over charge...Was there week before had a fried clam dinner fried oyster dinner and onion rings only 67.89..Amazing how easy you can get ripped off.Always get a receit ..Very disappointed as I send alot of Clients there and hopefully they get a receit from now on ..Sad to be taking advantage of by overcharging.Don't forget to get your receit..as what a way to make extra money...

Amazing lobster in a beautiful setting. Worth a trip, worth a wait.

The line moved kind of fast and the staff are very helpful when ordering. People in front of us had a million questions.😂 Lobsters were awesome. We had 3.8 & 2.75 pounders. Meat was tender and filled the shell. Haddock chowder was okay. The view is quite lovely. Good ice cream across the driveway. Thanks Five Islands!

If you are in or around George Town, Maine, and LOVE a good lobster roll, I recommend this place. Not only is the food delicious, but the views are gorgeous.

If you love lobster this place does not disappoint. I had the boiled potatos and corn which was cooked perfectly. My dining companions had the huge lobster roll, basic and good. It is market price so pricey but they enjoyed it.

As visitors, the lobster was astoundingly cheap. And delicious. I had a cheeseburger and it was also great. Wonderful views of the Harbor. Tables are shared so we got to chat with some locals. Definitely visit.

This was my first visit here. I will be back for another visit. The place is absolutely awesome, and the food and view were outstanding.

It's still one of my top happy places! Fresh lobster right off the boat.

They have so many live lobster options. Decided to try the hard shell and realized that I prefer the new shell. Lobster was still delicious and finished it though! 😄 their steamed clams were also very good but gotta eat them while they're hot! They also offer a nutcracker for a $4/ea deposit which they give back to you when you bring it back. Their shed offering fried foods was good too, would've gotten more food if I could take down more but I couldn't. Ice cream tasted homemade (cash only). Overall everything tasted great! And porta-potties were very clean. They only have a saltwater rinse for your hands, no soap.

What's not to like, Lobster Rolls, Onion Rings, Great Views.

Fun way to enjoy lobster dinner in Maine with our hosts for the weekend. The lobster and sides were awesome as were the local crowd of people. Seating by the water was first come, first serve. We enjoyed our BYOB wine and the very Maine experience. Would certainly go back there 🦞🦞

It was okay but not the best lobster pound I've been to.

This is one of the most beautiful places on the Maine coast with five small islands all around. It's always crowded in the summer but it's worth the wait for the food. It is outdoor dining only, so not so great in bad weather.

The atmosphere and location is very nice. The food tasted great, but the portion of the meat in the lobster roll and the amount of fried clams you got were disappointing for the price you pay for the meal.

Lobsters and fish are very fresh. Sitting by the ocean eating fresh seafood is the best. Highly recommend this place.

This is a lobsterman coop. Three buildings, one for ice cream, one for general seafood takeout, and one for lobster. The complex is a large pier on the water. Plenty of picnic tables in a covered area or out in the open. You can eat your lobster while boats pull up and unload their catch of the day.

One of the best (and affordable!) lobster shacks on the Maine Coast. Order from the shacks, listen for your boat name, enjoy your lobster from a picnic table with a view, give your $4 lobsta cracka fee back to the kids as a tip. Locals favorite.

Food was plentiful. My husband and son loved the lobster roll and the fish and chips were great. Definitely a place I would recommend.

Such a fun place to stop and eat. Beautiful location and literally sitting on a dock to eat. First lobster roll ever and it did not disappoint! Very busy but moves quickly. Multiple docks and views or either side of the restaurants. Highly recommend.

This place is a perfect little in so many ways. The views are stunning, food is wonderful, and there is a pretty good amount of parking! There are three shacks to order from, which was confusing at first. One for lobsters, one for snacks and gear, and one for ice cream. They each have thier own pick up window. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the view in a quiet setting. There is a store down the walkway too if you have time. There is also extra parking at the town lot at the top of the hill. Sidenote: Drive slow coming in! The road is narrow. Cheers!

This is one of our two favorite places to eat lobster in Maine. Always great service. Friendly, helpful staff. Food is consistently delicious. Wait time is reasonable. Other options besides lobster at the other shack, which people enjoy. Wonderful experience to sit and enjoy the view. Very reasonable prices.

Great location on the water with great traditional Maine seafood! Steamed lobster, fried haddock, fried clams, scallops, and more. The view is spectacular. You can bring your own beverages, and if not, there is a general store within 100 yes to pick something up. Be prepared for some challenges finding parking. Would here have given a solid five if there were not portable toilets.

Finally made it to this spot which is on Yankee magazines 2017 Lobsterpalooza list. Like other spots on this list the location is amazing. We actually watched the owner buying fresh Lobster off the boat (see photos). Lobster roll was amazing. Onion rings SUCKED, half the basket was just fried stuff (see photo), so stick to the fries or whatever. You can also get a whole Lobster and ice cream for desert! 🦞

Beautiful by the water dining with delicious food. Appreciated that the lobster roll and coleslaw were not heavy with mayonnaise. Just the right amount.

An absolute must go if you are in the area. It is the best lobster that I have ever had and they were catching them as we were eating. The surrounding area is a beautiful look at all the surrounding islands and it is much cooler over near the water. Overall one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.

I had the grilled crab cake sandwich. It was delicious. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of my meal. I was more captivated by the harbor views.

Beautiful little set up, separate houses for food were really cool, and the scenery was amazing, perfect hideaway for lunch or dinner.

Great food at good prices with a view that can’t be beat. If you’re hungry after a beach day at Reid (5 mins away) do yourself a favor and stop by!

Lobster is good. So good the best I’ve ever had, but do not purchase the merchandise. My sweatshirt was twisted and could not comfortably be worn and they chose to ignore my emails asking to replace it. I was so bummed because this is the only reminder of Maine that I Had:(

Five Islands Lobster Co.: Lobster Rolls, Views, and a Perfect Maine Adventure! Five Islands Lobster Co. definitely lived up to the hype for some of the best lobster rolls in Maine! The drive itself was amazing - a long, beautiful road that ends right at the dock where this gem sits. The lobster rolls were incredible, but they also had some seriously good fried seafood, like the scallops, that we couldn't resist. Top it all off with the stunning island views and plenty of outdoor seating, and you've got a fantastic Maine adventure. Highly recommend!

Anxiously waiting for the shack to open again in May. As someone who doesn't often order lobster when we go out because most places over cook it, Five Islands always nails it. And then you have the view, does it get any better? lastly, the crew there is always relaxed and nice.

This place had awesome lobsters. The fish chowder was very good too. Also the view was great! Be careful coming here close to night time as there's a lot of bugs since you are eating outside. Bring some bug spray.

I've been to Five Island numerous times, and I'll keep coming back for the gorgeous views and delicious food. You can also bring your own alcoholic beverages. I'm not a lobster guy, so I highly recommend the fish and chips and/or the Philly cheesesteak.

The Big Boy lobster roll ($47.50) was LOADED with meat! Could use a tad bit more mayo and seasoning, but it was still good. We visited here after Labor Day, and from the time we stepped into the line until we got our food it was at least a good hour and a half. I can’t imagine what that wait would be like in the summer! The views make up for it though. You can sit right there and watch the lobster guys come in with their catch and unload them.

The freshest lobster and fantastic views! There are only a few tables, parking is not plentiful, and I hope and pray this little place stays off the beaten path for the tourist mobs.

The Dolphin is a “must go” stop whenever you drive down the peninsula. It’s a destination whether you’re looking for the best seafood in the area or wanting to see the classic Maine coastline. Their blueberry muffins alone are worth the trip!

Great taste but slick handled metal crackers can't break hard shelled 2+ lbs. Please offer a hammer or even a big rock to get into a big claw!!. The food must be ordered from three different shacks depending on the item. Therefore the group's food arrives at different times. Not all shacks have the same drinks.

Gobbled our perfectly cooked fried clams and fries before I even thought of it. Crumb not batter. They have a separate shack for lobsters, as well as a small shack for ice cream. Ice cream cone was a sugar cone, smallish serving, but really was a perfect size after the meal.

The lobster was the best I had the whole time I was in Maine! The side dishes left a lot to be desired. The ear of corn we got wasn't even ready to be picked it was small and the kernels were not even filled out.

Couldn't recommend this little gem enough! Definitely more of a locals place with less tourists which makes it the perfect little escape. Being right on the water is an added bonus. This is especially true when you watch the lobsters be brought right up from the dock below. There are lots of options other than lobster available. Our party was a mix and my grandmother loved the crab cake sandwich. My cousin got the haddock sandwich with cilantro mayo, and as a local she knows where the good stuff is! I got lobster. Weighed right in front of me, reasonably priced, and FRESH! I said good bye and sorry to my lobster, checked out, and was given a boat as a calling card for my order. Quick service is an understatement. My mom got steamers and was VERY happy!! Not enough nice things to say about the staff or the food.

Best place for lobster rolls on the Maine coast. The onion rings are perfect and even better dipped in their tartar sauce. My favorite is the Jenny Special, a sandwich with a slice of fresh grilled haddock and a crab cake.

We visited here one Sunday in late June 23’. The food was to die for. I wish I had a larger stomach because I wanted to try everything. Lobster roll was the best I have had in Maine so far. Staff was great as well. Tartar sauce was wet very good. Thanks!

When in Maine, lobster is a must! The lobster roll was a full 1/4 lb as posted and it was plenty of perfectly cooked lobster on a soft, toasted roll. The location is on a working harbor, so great views and an overall enjoyable experience.

Found this place when I lived in Maine for a summer… Absolutely the best chowder I’ve ever had in my life, highly recommended!
