Great food decent price. Good portions.

We like to support local business and enjoy sporting events and good food , now autumn college football 😃 we have had the privilege of having an incredible, professional, kind and knowledgeable gentleman server - Jacob , help us out several times ! We frequent this location. They are consistently friendly, good service, food, and all for an affordable price. It is family friendly. Our kids always say Geckos when we ask where they want to eat!

The service was amazing. Our server was great and very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and answered any questions we had.

10/10 food, 10/10 prices, 10/10 service. One of my favorite affordable (please stay that way) restaurants that never lets me down. Get the Cajun pita with chips and ranch and you'll understand why.

The food was delicious, I highly recommend the potato scoops and the burger, my wife really liked the buffalo chicken wrap. I will definitely be coming back to Gecko's when I'm in the area again.

Geckos has an assorted menu for everyone. Food is always good and great staff. I can always count on Geckos for a good meal.

Very rarely do I give 5 stars; however, Gecko’s Grill & Pub on Cattlemen deserves it! From the moment that you set foot in this establishment you feel welcomed and like a priority. The service was top notch and our server very knowledgeable on the entire menu and able to successfully suggest options from their large menu. The food was brought to the table by a ROBOT! That was extremely unexpected. The food was delicious and cooked well and the drinks were DELICIOUS. Will definitely be back.

My partner and I went up to Sarasota, a few days to get away from the madness of Miami. We found Gecko’s Grill since it was pretty near the hotel, our experience was a very pleasant and enjoyable one. Food and drinks were good; however, the service and attention from our server Al as well as the manager Adam was amazing, they were very professional and charming. Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish!

Nice place to eat. Burgers were great. Coconut incident is a great drink.

Very Cheap food, no AC, fairly long Wait for first beer. Prices were reasonable and the staff was really friendly but this kinda thing can be had anywhere

Great sports bar in the Sarasota area. Excellent wings and libations. Fun time when the robot waiter brings out your food from the kitchen, for the waiter to serve you. Give it a try.

We were there to celebrate a family birthday. Our waiter was excellent, made sure we had a good time. Food and service were excellent. I had the beer-battered fish fry, delicious. Each of us had a seafood dish and enjoyed our meals. The sweet potato fries with apple butter for dipping are a must!! We will be back!

Honestly a nice surprise! The tuna bowl with chopped raw cabbage and salad was delicious! Impeccable service, nice sports bar atmosphere. A real nice surprise.

Very fun restaurant. Ramp and stairs to entry. Big menu, great service, they even have a robot server transporting food to table. Outside and inside seating. Food was good!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Gecko's Grill & Pub. The food and drinks were excellent. The view of the adjacent pond when eating outside was beautiful and relaxing. The wait staff were adequately attentive and efficient. If we are back in the Sarasota area, we will make it a point to stop in at Gecko's!

Fantastic food.great service. They had a robot bring our food to our table. I will definitely go again. My grandson and I had the brisket Mac and cheese. I highly recommend it.

Sit on the patio overlooking the pond. We were delighted by egret and a great blue herring. We thought we saw an alligator but it turned out to be lily pads. The service was patient and kind. The food was very good.

We've enjoyed many special occasions here. Graduations, birthdays and drinks with friends. Always a fun time.

This place has gone downhill quick. I went in recently with my son and a friend. My son ordered a burger, it was probably half the thickness they used to be and extremely greasy. My friend and I ordered the chicken tacos. He bit in and had some hard sand like debris which he thought was bone at first. I give my son a taco and he bites down on what appeared to be a small pebble, it almost cracked one of his teeth. A pic is attached. My friend shows the rock to the waitress and she grabs a manager. We see this angry little ginger coming over and we can see that he's obviously irritated that we're wasting his time. We show him the rock and he says it's probably something that came off of their dirty grill as if that is supposed to be reassuring and asked if we wanted more tacos, we still had two uneaten ones on the table so this was a strange thing to ask. We decided to just get the check and leave. No apologies or compensation given, not that we were really expecting anything for free. I won't be going back.

It's okay. Kinda like a step up from fast food. Nothing really noteworthy about the menu. One thing that was so weird....a robot brought our food to the table....yes, I said robot. The robot was rude....he said "take your food" (No please???) That means someone from the table has to stand up and serve all of the meals. It just keep getting closer and closer to fast food. You need a food runner.....seriously! #Weird

Great Nephew’s Birthday party with 11 of us. Smoothly done from waiting list to food and drinks. Staff even sang happy birthday with us. Food was great, service even better.

I love Gecko's. I am never disappointed. It is one of the only places that is always consistent. The menu has variety that makes it easy to please everyone, even our picky eaters.

If you like to beat the crowd Tuesdays before 6 pm are good. Service was excellent and attentive food was ok.

I frequent this particular Geckos for lunch often and sit at the bar. Marissa is the best bartender in Sarasota! She is so good at her job and has exceptional customer service skills. She is a hard worker and can handle a full bar plus some tables without missing a beat, she keeps everyone happy and their drinks full. The food is excellent and consistent, they all do a wonderful job there, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Food was ok. Server acted like she didn't care. Too dark to see for people with low vision. Only gives discounts to active duty military, doesn't care for the veterans who are more in this area than the Active Duty members.

Family get together at Gecko's today. Sister and husband from Ft Meyers..we from Seminole met half way at Sarasota location. Our server Jacob was the best. Kudos for making us comfortable. Food great..atmosphere relaxing. Thank you Jacob and Gecko's! See you next March.

The food was good. No pics, sorry. I had the fried chicken sandwich. It was a big piece of chicken! Not overcooked or dried put. Sweet potatoes fries there are the bomb with the apple butter!

The food was horrible, we had jambalaya ,Smokey brisket Mac , and stacked Reuben . Jambalaya was cooked in past sauce with no flavor. The brisket looked like a slice of spam thrown on top of a bowl of Mac& cheese. The Reuben must have been marinated in salt. Needed 3 glasses of water to help wash it down. Tried a Bloody Mary also but tasted like mix was very expired. I frequently go to Gecko’s in Bradenton on SR 64. I have always had good meals and drinks at that location. Would not recommend to anyone to use this location.

I have moved, but whenever I am in town I head there for the best burger and fries EVER! And I ALWAYS sit out on the patio by the small lake watching the wildlife. It's my little piece of happiness that breaks up a busy life.

Good food with a nice atmosphere. We had a late lunch with friends. There is a good food selection. My husband and I both had the grouper sandwich. I had it fried and he had blackened. Both were great.

Well today mama wanted Geckos for lunch. There was no wait when we got there about 2. The sweet tea is super sweet so much that I had waitress bring a regular tea to cut it down. My wife got her salad and I ordered the Jambalaya. It was hot but needed more flavor. It was made with rad sauce like marinara not the traditional brown ru. I think if the rice was cooked in sauce there would have been a lot more flavor. I’d give it a 3.8

The manager came over to check on us and delivered to-go boxes and even told us the best way to reheat our leftovers. What incredible service! The staff was overall attentive filling drinks and getting our large party's food out in an orderly fashion. Great casual lunch dining with a large menu to choose from.

Great food at a great price. The wait staff was fast and friendly, this is not a fancy place but a good place to have some good food.

My only downside is because I wear hearing aids, sometimes the noise level makes it hard for me to understand conversation when I am in a group. Otherwise it's a great place.

We are 45 minutes away from this restaurant and still make the drive to eat here. Use their call ahead seating on a busy night! Reasonable prices, good food and great atmosphere…hard to find that winning combination lately.

Stopped in for a quick dinner before a show at the nearby Performing arts center. Food was good. I had a flatbread. Others in my party had a BLT, patty melt, blackened grouper and a BBQ & Mac and cheese bowl. ( I had a taste of this..it was good.) Everyone liked their food. Service was fast and efficient. Very relaxed and casual atmosphere. A cool thing...they had some sort of robotic server. It didn't serve us but it was cool to watch move about.

Great food and excellent service! My dad has a meat fetish, has to have his burgers burnt beyond recognition, few places cook it like he wants. His burger was perfect! Loved the beans and rice. Will be happy you came!! Amanda and Liz were our waitresses, they were top motch, all the staff was!!!! Edit of my review. Back next winter, came straight here from 75, before going to the Condo. Our favorite waiter Shawn takes excellent care of us every time!! The food is always perfect! Had macaroni and cheese, actually used my finger to clean out last of the cheese sauce!!

Had the hummus (the 1/2 order) it was delicious and plenty for an app. Dinner and service were top notch. The robot ran our food.

The Tuna Poke was really good and the avocado was super fresh. Not the biggest fan of wontons, they were just okay, but the assorted scallions and other veggies made up for it. The vinaigrette and wasabi cream sauce truly brings out the deliciousness of the tuna, and without that this dish would be lacking. Pretty fair for the price and I’m looking forward to seeing how their other items standup to this one!
