Great pizza. Some of the best I have in years. We ate here again. Still the best pizza that I have had. Every time I come to Sarasota this place is a must stop.

Being from Brooklyn New York, I'm always trying to find good pizza. My niece found this place. I love them. The Pizza brings me back home to Brooklyn.

Pizza dough is really bad. Have tried the pizza here 3 times and each time has confirmed how bad it is. They have a brick oven and I thought they were going to make an awesome pizza. But na. Even Whole Foods pizza is better than this place

We have lived in the area for 6 years. We frequent this Plaza often but had not ventured past DA Ruma in our travels. I saw the place as I was driving by and decided to give them a try. Super accommodating, and friendly owners. They take orders over the phone and have not had a bad experience yet. Try the Hot Italian!!

This is a great family owned restaurant! They offer NY style slices/pizzas and a thicker crust option. You can eat in or get it to go. Delicious! Don't waste your money on a chain pizza place!

None of us tried the pizza...next time, for sure! We very much enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs, stromboli, and stuffed shells! We'll be back to try the pizza!

Like going to New York without going to New York, I felt like I was back in The Bronx, grabbing a slice. 10/10 this is definitely the spot for a good slice.

Best big slice NY style pizza in Sarasota! Had a slice of cheese with sausage and pepperoni and a Sicilian slice. The Sicilian crust just crumbles in your mouth, very awesome! The NY slice is thin with no flop and the cheese doesn't slide off on a vertical. 5 and a half a slice for a 2 topper! Come get some. Dave would give this cheese slice an 8.1 easy. I give it an 8.6! ;)

$27 dollars for 2 slices of COLD cheese pizza, one cannoli and one small piece of FROZEN tiramisu. Service was extremely slow. We expected much more from a “New York” pizza place!

Please Try the “Pizza Siciliana” ❤️ porfavor. The texture of the dough was so perfectly crispy and fluffy at the same time. I could even taste all the homemade flavors. Specially “The Pesto”. It was out of this world 🌎 Great atmosphere, super clean bathrooms and tables. Recommend it

Came here with some guys from work. Service was decent you have to order first and then they bring your food. Me and a co-worker got the three meat Stromboli it was really good I'd order it again. The other guy with us ordered a Greek salad he said it was good. If I was in the area again I definitely eat here again.

We found this lovely place today. If your from up north and you miss northern Italian food, this is your place. They make there own bread. I had a hot Italian sub and my wife had there pizza. We both loved our food. Owners are super nice.

I would really like to leave NO STARS. I am new to the area and wanted to give this place a try. I use to manage a pizzeria in the Tampa Bay area. First off, the lady who answers the phone doesn't even say the name of the company, nor is very inviting, she answers the phone like as if it's her own cell phone. The pizza was horrible!! Bland and tasted like straight up tomato sauce! It took a whole hour for my pizza to get delivered to me. I don't understand why when their not a busy place. The only pleasant thing about my experience was the driver, he was very nice sweet older gentlemen. But really the entire place could do better. I'll never spend my money there again!! You all get a half star from me. Wasn't worth the $30 spent at all.

Walked in and was told they were closed, that they close at 7:30, but she had two slices of cheese Sicilian pizza she could put in the oven. I said ok, as I looked around and saw everything had been put away and she was wiping the counters down. She repeated they close at 7:30. I looked at the time and it was only 7:20. She said it was $8.50 and I handed her my credit card. As she was ringing it up she said she made a mistake and it was actually over $11.00. I signed the receipt and waited for the pizza to heat. She handed me the box and while I was walking out she said, "Next time come in earlier." (There won't be a next time.) I got home and my husband opened the box and said it was hard as a rock. I looked at it and tasted it - very thick bread, hard, burnt on corners; sauce tasted like pure tomato paste, very little cheese. I did eat a little of the center bread; my husband made a ham sandwich - basically $11+ went in the trash. I don't usually write bad reviews, and I guess I should have just moved on, but I had told my husband I'd bring pizza home, and I was tired after a long day. Basically this place closes early, not customer friendly, changes prices after you hand them your card, and pizza is one of the worst I've tasted!

One of the best slices you will get in town ... and the portion is massive. Not sure what it is but you have to eat it there. When you order it and take it home, it's just not the same. A few of my friends have noticed the same thing. It doesn't look like much from the outside, just a simple PIZZA sign, but if you go there you will not be disappointed!!!

I picked this place because of the great reviews but what a shame!!!! The pizza was extremely salty and greasy, we got the cheese and pepperoni pizza. We couldn’t eat it. I can’t trust these reviews with my experience.

An outstanding pizzaeria from a husband-wife duo from NY that offers traditional NY pizza. Pizza offers just the right amount of toppings on a thin crust that is foldable and delicious. This is my new role model for what pizza should be.

Best pizza joint in town! I crave this pizza all the time. Never disappointed. Real pizza. Home made pastas (stuffed shells, lasagna and spaghetti) are to die for! Double meat Italian subs are divine! A simple caesar salad from here will not disappoint! Super fresh lettuce, parmesan and caesar dressing. Just all around best place ever for an Italian joint. Pizza in Sarasota doesn't cut it compared to your typical northern pizza but this is pretty darn good. Great sauce, they don't skimp on cheese, and the crust is soft but crunchy. Yum.

This pizza is hands down the best pizza ever! They are original and came from New Jersey. The family is Italian and they're cooking is absolutely amazing! The pizza is the best thing I've had next to the garlic knots and the cannoli. Restaurant is small and has a little bit of seating but also has sitting outside which is great! They have a good selection of drinks and in general food which you can see cooked right in front of you not behind a bunch of walls where you don't even see the workers. I have been eating here for years and I've never had any problem at all.

Best cannoli I've had in MANY MANY Ayears! The pizza is AMAZING! It's a family joint run by an Italian family that's been in biz for years!! Its the first meal I wanted when I returned to sarasota!

This is NY style pizza here in Sarasota. It's very good and certainly beats the usual chains without breaking the bank as well. I am so happy to be able to get great tasting pizza regularly with fresh ingredients and a crust that's just right.

Wow what an amazing experience. I am from New York and this is the closest to New York pizza there is in the sarasota area. The owners are very friendly and welcoming felt right at home instantly. The best part was the FOOD! All the dough and breads are made fresh and you can definitely taste it! Highly recommended!

One of our top 3 favorite pizza places! If you are originally from NJ or NY this is one of the true New York style pizzas around. I walked in the first time and smelled my childhood, now it's a weekly family outing.

Moved to the area a few months ago and finally discovered this "hole in the wall" gem! We ordered some calzones and garlic knots and we were not disappointed. Great food and good prices too. They use fresh ingredients and give you ample portions. They're home made pizza sauce is on point as well. They definitely earned some repeat customers today.

Fantastic pizza! Some of the best hand tossed we've ever had. Crust stays crispy...doesn't get soggy..all toppings tasty especially the ricotta! Would definately recommend this small but quaint shop.

Recently started going here for lunch. 5 for 5 so far! Pizza was delicious, Meatball Sub was great with lots of mozz and no soggy bread, Three Meat Stromboli was excellent, Italian Sub great, and a killer Chicken Parm Sub. I recommend!

Long time customer grew up in NJ with New York style pizza all my life. It's the real deal big crispy slices and pies made with dough made fresh daily. The Via Bianco is great. Mozzerella, provolone and Swiss cheeses on a white pizza with basil. Great place to eat, great staff and lots of great food other than pizza! Yum five stars!
