DO NOT EAT HERE . Bathrooms was dirty and the food wasn’t good and I actually got food poisoning from this location also the party that was with me also got sick from here with food poisoning . My first time having Golden Corral and it will be my last time. Worst experience ever. The waitress was the best part of the experience it’s not her fault that the serve food not cooked or at the temperature it’s supposed to be. The chicken I took thank god I didn’t eat it wasn’t cooked. I’m a food protection manager and I will report it. If I can give 0 stars I would the only person I would give good stars is the waitress who helped us.

It was okay, I mean besides the women cooking the food breathing on and yelling over it. My waitress was a doll, she came and checked in on us while me and my family was there. Not much to say besides a few issues with the bathroom and the workers. Not all of em are bad and not all of them are good, but that's a resturant for you.

Food wasn’t great. Bathrooms were disgusting. And the sticky note in the women’s bathroom just goes to show you what type of place it really is.

I go once a week to this place, the food is always the same same, they should have to make changes as well as the desert and salad, but I still like it...

The manager referred to us the black people instead of table numbers... Waitress was great. The manager needs a bit more diversity training, and a smile wouldn't help either.

Come here all the time, service is amazing and the servers are always kind. Even made friends with one of them that knows my family and has been working at this place for 20+ years. Food is always amazing and is a super helpful place whenever you just wanna eat something small and leave. Would recommend!

The food was okay, nothing too special considering the price. Steak was pretty good. Some desserts and cakes were pretty dry. Service was fast and friendly. Refills are free. The atmosphere was alright. The place was clean and well maintained.

The bathrooms were disgusting. The food was okay for the price. The vents are disgusting so are the floors. There is a weird smell in the seating area. Went to get my son desert and saw a roach crawling on the desert Buffet area. I did not get him desert and my family and I immediately left. If this is what the public areas look like I do not want to know what the back of the house looks like. We will not be returning which makes me very sad because I used to love this place growing up but it is obvious they do not care.

Place is just awful besides the cold food!!...it's like a third world country in there ..nobody speaks English nobody waits their turn they cut in front of you and there's zero enforcement of the horrible parents letting their little kids up there alone touching all the food with their hands ...just a horrible place to be...not to mention all the intimidating homeless people in the parking lot.. AWFUL MANAGEMENT... STAY AWAY FROM HERE

It’s a busy place. The food is great however, the service needs improvement the people in charge of steaks are very rude. I was there. The manager was there, and the man that was in charge of grilling was extremely rude to an older lady that was in front of me and the manager did absolutely nothing. This is not the first time, it’s every time. Since the manager doesn’t do anything I give them the same attitude back.

It’s a really good place,food is good.Its a buffet to go if your like really hungry because there’s a lot of stuff to eat and it makes you full.Theres three different stations:Salad and vegetable station,a normal food area with stations of meat,pastas and fish,and there’s like a area of Mexican food were you could make a taco and fill it up,And the third area is the dessert area with really good cakes,cookies and puddings and ice cream.i

To crowded and the temp was too hot so they could get people out quicker. The temp trick they use is a dirty tactic restaurants need to steer away from as it is way too obvious and causes a lack of repeat business for locals who would otherwise include it in regular rotation.

Honestly surprised this place has 4.2 stars it’s smells really bad ,the workers are rude and don’t have manners.the food was so gross and under seasoned .the waitress we had which was an older lady she’s the only reason I stayed for a little because she was very nice and welcoming but other then that it’s nasty

The customer service was okay. The food was horrible. No seasoning at all. No type of flavor But yet when you walk past the kitchen all you can see is the kitchen crew members horse playing and joking around. I hate that I spent 45 dollars on this. Golden Corral was NEVER this expensive so for it to be 45 dollars for literally 2 people. It’s insane. A lot of the selections aren’t there anymore and the ones that are extremely bland. I wish I could get my money back. Never again will I spend my money on this trash again. You can smell the bathroom from your table. When you go into the bathroom it’s completely disgusting. Stalls with toilets filled with bodily fluids and stalls out of order. It’s just plain nasty. If I could give this 0 stars I would.

So I am just now leaving because the Waitress instead of refilling my half and half tea from a Pitcher, she instead poured from another cup into one of my old cups and then poured it into the cup I was drinking. 2 other tables around me saw this and looked just as disgusted as me....I've never ever had this happen to me at any restaurant. I would highly recommend management to investigate this and no one to go back. I shouldn't have to say how much Health code violations this hits

We had a party of 6 we came in for dinner and the service sucked so bad that we didn't get a refill on drinks litterly had to walk to the station and beg to get a refill and the soda machine was broken and they where pouring the sodas from a bag and it was flat no carbonation at all worst experience at Golden corral

seated people who were in line behind us about 4-5 families after waiting in like 30 minutes . The steak cook helping other people who were in line behind us as well when we were standing there first . Came to sit down to eat just to have dirty rags and server trays on our table. Won’t be back to this location again.

Not bad... good selection of food... food is warm not hot

Overall, a pleasant experience. The food was decent, considering the $13.50/adult price. The service was very attentive considering it’s a buffet style. Keeping drinks topped off, and taking dishes away. For $50 for two adults, two children with drinks. We enjoyed our short visit.

Family atmosphere, just by paying for the buffet, you eat everything there is and repeat until you can no longer eat. Very good food, fruits and desserts and more.

My wife wasn't hungry but I wanted breakfast. We were told "policy" said she would have to wait in the car and couldn't sit with me. When I said nevermind we would just leave they were actually happy and said, "ok good" because they didn't want to deal with thier idiotic statement. Went to Waffle House got better food and NO ISSUES with my wife sitting with me while I ate. Thanks Corral for treating a veteran and his wife like this on Memorial Day

The golden. Corral in Brandon was pretty good. I like the atmosphere. I liked that it was very clean. And I like that the servers were on point at all times with drinks and everything else you need.

We dined in for an early supper. The food was good and they always have a large variety so you can't go wrong!

Golden Corral is not what it used to be. Such a disappointment. We had a party of 9 with the last 2 arriving a bit late. They would not let the 7 of us set down until the other 2 were inside. The girl told us it was policy that we all be seated at the same time. There were 2 handicapped patrons in our party. The one lady had to stand there with her walker for over 20 minutes. Then the lady flat lied to her manager and said she offered us a seat, but we declined. That was a lie. We were not offered a seat, just informed of policy. It's just pathetic to let a handicapped elderly lady stand for over 20 minutes because of policy. The manager was absolutely useless. The steak was so tough that I couldn't cut it with the knife I had, let alone chew it. The shrimp and fish were pretty good. The desert tasted like heath food. Except for the ice cream. Their soft serv ice cream was really good. The machine was filthy, but it was good. By filthy, I mean there was ice cream everywhere, even on the floor. The ladies that were bringing out the plates and stuff were very nice. Our waiter, Bryan, "I hope I got that right," was awesome. My glass of tea was never empty. The score: I give the greeters a 0 for the lack of compassion. The manager: A 2, due to incompetence. The food: an 8. It was mostly good. The steak was terrible and tasteless desert. The restaurant, a 4, it was hot. Everyone in the place was complaining about the heat. The rest of the staff gets a 9. They did a pretty good job and were friendly. Our server, 10. He did an awesome job and was very courteous. I personally will not be going back to the Brandon Golden Corral. It was very disappointing.

I asked Maria to change 10.00 bill into 5 ones and 5 dollar bill. She took it upon herself to try and keep the 5. Normally yes, I would have left the 5.00. But since she decided to try and keep it , she got 3. I was dining myself.

Late review from 8 month's ago. Haven't been to a buffet since Covid. I was so excited to find this place. Just plain very good. Love it all. Waiter was so attentive - big tip. Cudos.

The fried chicken was delicious went round two with that, all the food was fresh and I could actually afford it!

Atmosphere was too congested. Too many people. I have a mobility impairment. I was afraid I would be knocked down.

The restrooms were out of order and would not be available until after the restaurant closed. When I complained about it the manager was rude.

Lots of choice and if you can really eat a lot, you will get better value than I was able to. Unfortunately, it was not the atmosphere and quality I expected. For the same money, you can have a starter and a main, or a Main and desert at a normal restaurant with better quality food and better atmosphere. Here you get more quantity than quality. Not my type of restaurant.

All you can eat buffet for 15$ per person. Great selection of foods and the staff was friendly. Comes with a drink. I had 3 plates. If you are in the Brandon, Florida region come check this place out.

This reminded me why I don't come to golden corral!! Steak no flavor no one could understand medium. Mac and cheese tasted like it came from a bag. Butterflied shrimp fried was soggy. All the chicken they had was hard over cooked. Kids coughing on the deserts, ewww. The salad was good. Took server a long time to get refills and move plates.

If you are hungry this is the right place

It was Mother's day, so pretty crowded. However the food was definitely fresh 😋 and my server was pretty quick and efficient considering the amount of people in her station.

I didn't like it because when I ordered 5 tortillas the cook started laughing and told his colleagues that I ordered a dozen tortillas and he continued with his laughter about how badly I had already paid if I didn't get out.

Clean surroundings, food was excellent! Our server was spot on catering to all tables in her area.

The owners are not that friendly they're not welcoming there's only a few waitresses and the only male waiter that are very friendly I love Miss Jackie she is so warm and so inviting she and the others that I mentioned it's the only reason why I go there what's important to me is Ms Jackie goes out her way to make you feel she really appreciate your business

When we were seated I went to grab a plate. The plates were pretty small which I didn't like. There was only like 7 things which looked good to me. The best item was the steak. I got it medium rare because I'm not a coward. It was delicious. They had desert like cakes and brownies and crunchy cookies and ice cream it was all mid.
