Why is this closed does anyone know?

I was in Lakeland for an appointment an wanted to try a different location for a Golden Corral and check if it was better than the other two I had been recently. I can definitively say that the taste of the food was much better, to the point that I over ate and had dessert. It was welcome change, 3 stars for the place, (dated but clean, 4 for the food. P. S. It closed down 😔

There was only 1 cook and most of the food you had to wait for them to put it out, and there wasn't even many people in there...so that wasn't the excuse...UNDER STAFFED !!!

Me and my family enjoyed the buffet and for the size of my family it was very affordable with great tasting food. We are stuffed. Sad to see this place close.

Ate here tonight, probably for the last time. Very disappointed to find out they will be closing in less than two weeks. Other than that it was a great place to eat and the service was always great. Wish all the employees the best of luck this time of year

Went there for Thanksgiving, should have gone sooner. Long lines, but it went pretty fast, all the choices were great, people were friendly. We like this one better than the North 98 one.

Great food and great service, I've been to better Golden corral's, but the waitress was on point with the refills!

Food and service was fantastic. Place was clean. Unfortunately they are only open for another week from today. Lunch buffet was $12.72 including the drink. Without a drink it's $9.72. The owner is elderly and sold the place. It's going to be an Aldis.

They have great food and for the price you can't beat it I come here I come here often with my kids and friends

Tony and I revisited Golden Corral on South Florida Ave. This is one of our favorite places if we're out shopping or running errands. The buffet is always clean and home cooked dishes. They do a southern girl proud. The rolls are always fresh out of the oven. On our visit tonight we learned that our favorite Golden Corral will be closing in 2 weeks. We were stunned. This restaurant has been here in Lakeland for a very long time. Those of us in South Lakeland will miss them. The front of house and back of house staff are all so helpful and very friendly. From management to the cooks, servers, cashiers. Wonderful. Tony and I will miss all of you. Thank you for always taking good care of us.

This location is a better option, clean and fresh food

Love Golden Corral. We got there at 8:40 they close at 9 the staff was so great let us eat at our leisure with no dirty looks or rushing us. They asked if we were finished before they started breaking down. Thanks to your wonderful staff and management team. This disabled Veteran really appreciated it. The pot roast was wonderful as always.

Not a huge fan. However i love their mac an cheese. Its amazing. Everyone loves this place for at least one reason

I give it a solid 4 1/2 stars. The food is excellent. Every single thing I ate was delicious. The servers are courteous, the tables aren't sticky, and you can get a steak made to your preference, what's not to like.

Steaks are getting a little fatty and undercooked love pot roast change a few things with the steaks and things will be good

With their recent price increases while having even fewer options, you can do better.

Was all good until desert. They sneakily camouflage sponge cake to look exactly like cheesecake and we never know what hit us.

Went for Thanksgiving, they had a good spread. I'm vegan, so I didn't eat turkey or anything with a face. What I had was good, sauted mushrooms, 😋 they were hot. I would go back, lots of people there. But the line didn't take, it kept moving. We got in within minutes, it was busy inside. People were nice, first time I had Thanksgiving here. Good job to everyone, was worth it

It was hot on the left side of the restaurant and almost cold on the right. Told the manager twice, nothing changed exactly 6pm they said the were out of ham and turkey, 20 minutes later said they had turkey. During 6pm most of the hot items were empty though they were making an attempt to replace the empty pans. Granted they were beyond busy but at the customers expense.

Very clean. Staff was very polite and attentive to everything. Self service was available. The grandkids had a blast. It's their favorite restaurant to go to with Grandpa and Grandma.

Not a lot of variety of food. Same food all the time. Lots of empty food pans. Lengthy weight for food and rolls. No organization for lines. Did not seem prepared for a Holiday Dinner. The associate carving the turkey just walked off for no apparent reason.

Great food and awesome service I will be a return customer.

South LAKELAND was the cleanest place ever. North LAKELAND is very dirty.

It was ok but Short on food and some of it was cold when it was supposed to be hot. The waitress was nice and comfort with us
