The food is good cheap and honestly my grandma likes it and she hates most places.

I love Golden Wok. I really miss their dining room because I loved their lunch special. You got hot tea, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and a entree of your choosing as well as a crab rangoon or egg roll and cup or egg drop or hot and sour soup. It was a great deal at $8 or so. But I'd pay be happy to pay $12.99 for it I just want it back!

Items are horribly over priced. The food isn't that great. $20 for one general taos chicken and crab Rangoon is ridiculous. Won't be going again.

Fast and friendly service.. Price is pretty low in comparison to similar dishes elsewhere.

I usually order from time to time and never had a problem. Last night i stopped by right before they were closing and ordered an entree and asked for crab ragoons. For $19. I got up the street to realize i didnt have my ragoons only one box of entree , i turned around and went back. Not even a freaking minute they all were leaving the parking lot in their cars when they have 10 more minutes til closing ! Well i called the next day and the guy wanted to say i got two entrees and no crab raggon, okay i get it so then refund me the half back or give me a free entree . The guy say he dont know what to do . Over and iver again .lets say i wont be going back !!!

Little restaurant. Great food. Generous portions. Eat here regularly. Convenient and fast.

Me and my boyfriend both loved this place until it gave us food poisoning. we got take out from here last night and all day we have been in the bathroom throwing up and having downstairs issues. The staff is always friendly. service is fast. we live just a couple blocks away so we would go frequently. it’s really unfortunate what happened because we really enjoyed golden wok until this incident.

Food was very good, wanted some drive thru Chinese and found this on google, it was open late and they were very friendly and I loved the food.

Our favorite Chinese place for almost 20 years now, I always recommend Golden Wok. The staff is always very friendly to me and the food is always good. I took a star off because the building is looking quite rundown and it's the kind of place where I just imagine I'm in a foreign country and choose to ignore the conditions where my food is being prepped. Do this and you will enjoy the experience. Tsos chicken and Sweet and Sour chicken are my go to's. They also have excellent egg rolls with a thinner "spring roll like" outer shell as opposed to the typical thick ones you find everywhere else in town. The hot and sour soup is also a step above most other places in Lincoln.

I had rated this 5 stars, as it's always been my favorite Chinese in town. Today was horrible. Ordered my meal with lo mein instead of rice. Got rice anyways and it's mushy with burnt parts throughout it. The spring rolls are always so on point but today the inside was pure mush and had an odd aftertaste so we just threw away. Hours vary, sometimes they're closed mon, tue, wed...you never know if they'll be open. Makes me sad. It really has always been my favorite.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over twenty years. The quality is exceptional.

Not only was my food dry, I found nats in my food wrappings. I called and the person told me I was being ridiculous the whole time as well as asking for my home address for him to check it out. Not at all worth $18, the tip I gave, nor worth a next purchase.

Been getting food from here for years, never had a problem with anything. Food is always good, service is always excellent. Portion sizes are always great, they make sure you are fed and happy!

Absolutely disgusting. I used to order here all the time. Moved away for 10 years now I have ordered 3 times this last few months. Can't even eat half of it. Freezer burnt meat,no flavor. I don't know what happened but I won't ever eat here again

The Golden Wok is not my favorite restaurant when I’m craving Chinese food but it is on my side of Lincoln so it’s convenient because it’s on the way home. The food is decent but the crab Rangoon is outstanding! It contains 8 peices is never over cooked and super hot when you get them!

Was 5 stars alllllllll day but since they closed the inside part I dont go there any more. The lunch special was amazing but not you have to order everything ala carte.....bringing the total to over 26$

Watch out for the extra protein. I used to really like this place until I brought home some sesame chicken and there was a german cockroach cooked in with the rice.

Ok but could have used more variety of vegetables in their dishes I got the beef and broccoli and literally it was brown sauce beef and broccoli and rice I mean there wasn't hardly even any peas or carrots in the rice I mean it was white rice but if you're playing Jane type person you'll like it so that's why I gave it three.

On point when you are just hungry

Looks a little weary on the outside. Went through drive through for pot stickers and garlic chicken. Food was hot, tasty and quick. Well priced and generous portion. Did not have to search to find the chicken in the dish. Employee at drive through was pleasant. I plan to try some of their other dishes.

You may not see many cars here but this is by far the best restaurant I’ve eaten at & gotten delivery from. Big portions of amazing food & if you’re able to dine in, you get tea with your meal.

This place is DELICIOUS! We are traveling from Arkansas so we are picky about trying new Chinese places. The reviews don’t do this place justice. We got the general tso’s chicken and it was perfect..even had a crunch to it. Best I’ve had. My husband got the shrimp fried rice. Instead of big pieces, they cut up the shrimp so you get it in every bite. My kids are very picky about their chicken lo mein. If it’s too saucy or the noodles are too big, they won’t eat it. This place got it right they were begging for more. We will definitely be returning.

This Lincoln staple has been a favorite of mine since I was a child. Now I am taking my child and we both love it! Lovely atmosphere, great portion and prices. And the "chicken fingers" under the appetizers menu are my picky son's favorite.

Their lunch special is one of the best in town. The food is always tasty and fresh. Very good customer service. I really enjoy their beef and chicken lo mein. At so many places the hot and sour soup is oily, but their's is not! Delicious!

I've been going to the golden wok since I was 15 years old and now my kids eat there on occasion, the only complaint I have is that it has closing hours still, lol, very cozy place , good food and good people. The service is great and the owners/employees are very friendly and polite.

My partner loves this place. I am less enthusiastic, but our food has always been good. The portion sizes are smaller than normal for the price. Also, don’t bother with the crispy fried pork wonton appetizer. It’s deceiving because it’s cheap, but there is almost never any actual meat in them and it’s just fried wonton paper.

One of the better places in town. Friendly service. The main reason I stop is they have shrimp toast which almost no place else in town has. Delicious.

This is my favorite Chinese place in Lincoln. Tsos chicken and sweet and sour chicken is almost always great. You don't get the giant soggy hunks of meat you get at most places. It is usually smaller bite sized chunks and slightly crispy which to me is perfect. They also have the best egg rolls in town. Obviously hand made and not like the giant fat breaded ones they have at Hy-Vee and most of the other Chinese places in town. I have been going to Golden Wok for over 15 years and have only been disappointed a couple times. They have a drive through which is a nice bonus and despite an obvious language barrier they have never gotten my order wrong.

Been ordering take out from Golden Wok for years. I love the crab rangoons and the General Tsou's chicken. That's my go to. Prices are normal and delivery is usually pretty fast. They will even alter things for you. My wife always gets Broccoli Beef no Broccoli. Yeah weird but they do it for her every time. If you feel like leaving the house they have quiet cozy seating inside. More like a restaurant not buffet style which is nice. I always tip well because the make good food and make sure your happy. Never have I had bad service and I've been eating there over 15yrs.

Though we had to send back a few sets of silverware for not being clean, the food was delicious!

The food is AMAZING. It is in a sketchy place, but make no mistake, this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. I think everything is made fresh, because their orange chicken was OUT OF THIS WORLD. And it's all at a decent price, too. The service is exceptionally fast, the food came out in under 10 minutes. I promise, you won't regret it.

The food was very filling. It's not a buffet and that's why they add more attention to your plate and you won't end up eating 20% oil like other places. The soups are great but keep in mind they are appetizer size. The other main courses will be sure to fill you up. The tea was hot and bitterless; make sure to drink it before and after the meal as it improves digestion 😉. Service was great and respectful.

I have only come in at lunch, but have come many many times over the last 25+ years. The food is wonderful, the staff very friendly, and the prices very economical.
